Mina Anwar and James Dreyfus in The Thin Blue Line (1995) Fire and Terror
S1E2
Habib falls for a fireman named Gary, much to Goody's jealousy, while Fowler finds himself pestered frequently by a man who claims to have committed impossible, solved or extremely historical crimes, much to DI Grim's amusement, until a terrorist begins making threats.
*When Fowler first meets the Commander, he fails to remove his hat- explaining to the Commander that he's a Sikh, and cannot bare his head. However, later in the episode he talks to the Commander without his hat.

TV’s number one crime-solving nun is back in action—and will be celebrating the holidays this winter.
Filming has started, in and around the Cotswolds, on the fourth series of the BBC Studios drama Sister Boniface Mysteries, created by Jude Tindall. It will air next year on BritBox International and on UKTV’s U&Drama in the UK. It has also been announced that the show will return for another feature-length Christmas special this December, written by Tindall and directed by Paul Gibson. See photos of Lorna Watson, who plays Sister Boniface, on the set and in the Christmas special above and below.
“It’s brilliant to be back with the gang for series four,” said Watson in a statement. “I feel very lucky to be part of such a lovely show and can’t wait to get cracking, solving crime in the Cotswolds sunshine.”

In addition to Watson as the Vespa driving, crime-solving, Catholic nun, also returning are Max Brown as DI Sam Gillespie, Jerry Iwu as DS Felix Livingstone, and Ami Metcalf as WPC Peggy Button. The Series 4 guest cast includes Les Dennis, Katherine Kingsley, Martyn Ellis, Mina Anwar, Ed Birch, and Daniel Laurie.
The Christmas special features the Great Slaughter Amateur Dramatics Society (GSADS) pantomime. This year it’s Cinderella and with the appointment of a celebrity director the pressure is on to deliver their biggest and best performance yet. Rehearsals begin, but soon cast members start dropping like flies. Can Sister Boniface catch the killer before they strike again? Will GSADS give the public the festive theatrical treat they deserve? And, most importantly, can Sam and Felix pull off a polka in a pantomime horse?
Also coming up in the series, a bucking bronco goes haywire on the set of a game show, a killer scarecrow stalks the streets of Great Slaughter, the Scottish invade, a femme fatale drops to her death in a stunt gone wrong, and CC Lowsley (Robert Dawes) has arranged some team building. Meanwhile, Reverend Mother Adrian (Carolyn Pickles) is keeping a secret, and it could tear the Sisters lives apart.
“I’m thrilled that TV’s favourite forensic nun is returning for a fourth series. The alchemy created by Jude, Lorna and our wonderful cast and Midlands crew continues to delight viewers worldwide,” Neil Irvine, Executive Producer at BBC Studios said. “This series sees a serial killer on the loose at the Christmas Pantomime and a threat to the convent itself. I can’t wait for the audience to find out if this is the end for St Vincent’s…”
Sister Boniface Mysteries is made by BBC Studios Drama Productions as a co-production for BritBox International and UKTV. The script producer is Dawn Coulson-Beckett. Executive producers are Neil Irvine for BBC Studios, Stephen Nye and Robert Schildhouse for BritBox International, and Claire Hookway for UKTV.

🍂🥀🍂 Sermon Of Imam Zaynal al-Abideen (as) In Yazid’s Court (la)
🥀 It is reported in “Bihar-al-Anwar”, “Manaqib” and others, that when the Ahlulbayt (pbbut) were brought in the court of Yazid (la), a pulpit was erected and Yazid (la) ordered an orator to rebuke Imam Hussain (as) and the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (as). The orator did as directed and then praised Muawiyah (la) and Yazid (la) attributing numerous good deeds to them. Imam Zaynal al-Abideen (as) called out to him saying: “O you who preach! Woe be to you! You have bought the Wrath of the Creator in lieu of the creatures, while your place is the hell.” 🍂
🥀 Then he turned towards Yazid (la) and said, “Do you permit to speak that which would be agreeable to Allah and would be a means of reward for those present?” 🍂
🥀 Yazid (la) refused to do so, while the people said: “Permit him to ascend the pulpit; perhaps we may hear something (worthwhile) from him.” Yazid (la) replied: “If I permit him to mount the pulpit, he shall not descend it until he humiliates me and the progeny of Abu Sufyan.” 🍂
🥀 They said: “How could this ailing youth do so?” Yazid (la) replied: “He comes from a family that has consumed wisdom along with the milk from their infancy.” They compelled until he relented, and the Imam (as) ascended the pulpit. He praised Allah and delivered a sermon that made the eyes weep and hearts shiver. Then he said, 🍂
🥀 “O people! We have been bestowed six qualities and seven merits (by Allah). Knowledge, forbearance, munificence, eloquence, valor and friendship in the hearts of the believers are present in us. While our merits are that the Prophet (S) in Authority is from amongst us; the Truthful (Imam Ali (as) is from amongst us; the Flyer (Jafar al Tayyar) is from amongst us; the Lion of Allah, and that of His Prophet (S), is from amongst us; while also the two Sibtain of this nation are from amongst us. Those who know me, know me; while those who do not know me, I reveal my pedigree and ancestry for them until they recognize me. O people! I am the son of Makkah and Mina! I am the son of Zamzam and Safa! I am the son of the one who lifted the Black Stone by the side of his quilt. I am the son of the best one who adorned the trousers and the cloak. I am the son of the best ones who circumambulated (the Kabah) and performed the Sa’ee. I am the son of the best ones who performed the Hajj and pronounced the Talbiyah. I am the son of the one who was taken up to the Masjid al-Aqsa at night (during Ascension, Meraj). I am the son of the one who was taken up to the Sidrat al-Muntaha. I am the son of the one ‘who drew nigh and became pending (in between the creation and the Creator)’ (referring to the night of Ascension when the Prophet drew near to Allah). I am the son of the one ‘who was nigh the measure between the two bows (facing each other) or higher still’ (again referring to Meraj). I am the son of the one ‘who was bestowed revelation by the Almighty, what He did reveal ‘(again referring to the night of Meraj) (Surah al-Najm Ayah 8-10). I am the son of Hussain (as), the one killed at Karbala! I am the son of Ali (as), the Approved one! I am the son of Muhammad, the Chosen one (S)! I am the son of Fatima al-Zahra (sa)! I am the son of Sidrat al-Muntaha! I am the son of ‘the Blessed Tree! I am the son of the one who was smeared in blood and sand. I am the son of the one who was lamented upon by the genie in the darkness of the night. I am the son of the one who was mourned upon by the birds.” 🍂

The distance from Minas Tirith to Amon Anwar was not short, yet Faramir and a few of his men had set out shortly upon hearing rumors of disturbances along the roads there. It was home of the last of the seven warning beacons of Gondor and, while it was merely beset by rumors, he was of a mind to determine whether in such hearsay lay a grain of truth. By the day, the shadow of evil was growing across the land, with Orcs and Southrons appearing along the country's borders; days worth of travel seemed to him a small price to pay in order to ensure the security of a place of great importance. As if it had been merely a handful of years ago as opposed to decades, Faramir could recall learning of how Amon Anwar had once been considered the very center of Gondor, even serving as the location of the tomb of Elendil, the first High King of the Dúnedain, before the casket was moved to Rath Dínen to reside with the other long-passed rulers of Gondor.
How fascinated he had been by the grand history of that hill as a boy, even when his father commented that he spent too inordinate an amount of time reading about it in contrast to his brother. These days, the thought of Boromir stirred within him equal parts curiosity and concern. Since his elder sibling had left for Rivendell while he was commanded by their father to remain in Gondor, Faramir wondered on what all had been learned, as well as where precisely it may lead. Although hope remained at the forefront of his conjectures just as it ever had, he could not rid himself of the notion of the token of evil that had been present in their dreams as of late, the same vision that had sparked his desire to journey to the home of Elrond alongside Boromir. Would that physical manifestation of darkness show itself?
Questions without answer plagued him as the company reached the outskirts of Firien Wood with the plan to rest there for the remainder of the day and night. However, unable to find the relaxation the others sought, Faramir decided to ride a short way ahead; the forest was quiet and uninhabited, save for the animals who lived there and the beacon-wardens, with Mering Stream flowing through it. What was a trip as tranquil as initially expected swiftly took a turn when he caught sight of a large horse racing along the other side of the stream in the opposite direction. What had become of its rider? Curious as to what may have caused it to flee ( as well as whether the answer might share a connection with why he and his men had journeyed here ), he urged Arroch ahead.
Faramir's grey eyes searched the bank of the stream for only a short time before they alighted on a prone figure in the grass, draped in long, blonde hair. They must be of Rohan, for they surely would not have traversed to the opposite side otherwise. Perhaps he, as a son of the Steward of Gondor, should refrain from doing so either, yet to abandon anyone in distress without extending his hand went against his very nature. Turning Arroch into the water, he crossed the stream quickly before he dismounted in the grass. "I saw your horse run by, and wished to discover what became of its master or mistress. I come now only to offer my aid, if you desire it," Faramir said as he approached. The closer he drew, he could see that that she was a woman, though her face was not turned in his direction. "Are you injured?"
For Faramir w/ @everythingheard
A young maiden of Rohan should never be familiar with grief and despair, but that is what Éowyn experienced when she was seven. Life for the young maiden was not easy as she grew up. Not only did she have to experience losing her father and then her mother just a few years apart, but being raised in an age full of anger, hate, and wars was enough to frighten any child. Despite the dangers outside Rohan, or even within, Éowyn was fortunate to learn how to hold a sword and defend herself. The hardships she faced made it so she didn't fear the cold hand of death or pain, but that didn't mean each day she lived was an easy one.
To add more to her plate, Éowyn constantly avoided the presence of one man when her uncle grew mysteriously ill. Grima Wormtongue, Counsellor of the Court under a weakened King Théoden, watched Éowyn's every move and often cornered her in private speaking poisoned-filled words to her. Even within the walls of Edoras, Éowyn never felt safe with this man working so closely alongside her uncle. She needed an escape for she grew more bothered and even fearful of his presence with every day that passed.
Despite the dangers outside Edoras, Éowyn found riding Windfola and risking her own safety better than being trapped in a cage that was her home. She couldn't remember the last time she genuinely smiled or laughed. Riding Windfola despite the present dangers around her gave her a sense of peace.
Not keeping watch over how much time had passed, Éowyn found herself approaching Mering Stream. Pulling back on the reigns to slow down, Éowyn let out a sigh of contentment. "I suppose I should let you catch your breath and drink water from the river ahead of us? What do you think, Windfola? I'll take the nod of your head as my answer then." Smiling, Éowyn reached up to pet the neck of her beloved horse only for something to spook him. Her eyes fell on a snake that moved nearby, and her eyes immediately thought of Grima as he was very much a snake to her also. "Whoa, boy! Windfola! Easy! It's alright." Despite Éowyn being a skilled rider, her beloved horse was spooked to a level where even she couldn't control him. Despite trying to calm him down, Windfola threw her off, and she landed on her left arm. "Windfola, no! Come back!" Windfola ran back towards Edoras, leaving behind an injured young maiden on the edge of Mering Stream.
