The event turned out to be great, many guests arrived. Milo Deaton's naked dance was the highlight of the program :)

I totally agree that people should not feel so entitled to tell others how to run their blogs. If someone doesn’t like something they have the power to unfollow or block someone. I wish they would get off anon too, but I understand that they might feel uncomfortable.

Milo is a mix of several things, 25% American Staffordshire Terrier, 25% Border Collie, 14% Australian Cattle Dog, and 36% Who knows! She is cute and knows it! :P

I loved these comments about Jared! It really helps me flesh out his character, particularly as in-game he has the no sense of humour trait and whenever he talks to anyone I have to be careful he doesn’t bore them to death ;=) So now I’m going to head-canon him as ‘a take charge kind of guy‘ who just takes things very seriously.

OMG true story, I work as a realtor and had that happen, the owners were still at the house when we arrived and man whatever, whoever had eaten didn't agree with them. LOL On a better side I love Jared saying they couldn't buy it since there's no pool. But it sounds like the agent is winning him over.

It happened to me too when I was looking at a house to rent, which is where I got my inspiration from, lololol!  :) It was absolutely revolting and the realtor showing me the house could barely speak, she was so embarrassed!

I'm surprised your sims have traits if they're strictly story.  I'd love to be a fly on the wall to see what'd happen if you ever just let them run feral for a day.  xD

One *feral* thing that would definitely surprise people is the chemistry that exists between Sonia and Joël...if they’re left alone for a second they will always try and jump each others’ bones. They would be five bolters if they were Sims 2 Sims! But my Sims aren’t all strictly story...there’s a couple of non-story Sims I’ve been playing in IP recently, and I did also play with most of the central characters in game before I started writing about them. Harry and Anita’s romance and relationship evolved autonomously, as did Joël’s arrival on the scene. Naughty Jojo gate-crashed a party thrown by Harry and Anita and then proceeded to autonomously pash Anita while she was tucking baby Saffron into her cot...how could I have NOT created a story out of that? ;=) And my Sims’ traits (and star signs) have always dictated their personalities and the way they behave in my story.

I love it when the whole gang gets together. Because I don't wait until the kids reach their "birthdays" to age them up, Isla gets to meet her great grandkids.

While Marlow and Marigold slept, Birdie and Milo threw a silver medal weenie roast. No-one got set on fire either, despite Ruby trying really hard.

It took a while but Milo finally reached level 7 handiness, learned the mascot schematic and created his own mini mascot for home.

I've now completed everything there was to complete in Outdoor Retreat, some of which I've never done or didn't know existed!

Some other thoughts on OR:

I'd love a pack refresh for this GP. Things like swimming in the water and showering under the waterfall would be lovely 🌠

Why do Sims always put the herbal remedies on the floor once they are done brewing and not in their inventory? It's infuriating!

The world is so underrated, I had an absolute blast camping with Birdie and it's something my sims in other saves never do

The dust spirits are so incredibly cute and I can't believe it's been almost 10 years and I didn't know they existed 😭

Time to enable Get to Work and start generation 3. We're just a few days from the twins becoming teens and I plan on Marlow being the heir.
