I just watch "Parked" for the first time last night.

and dear lord someone kill me. it was such a brilliant movie. and it made me sob and cry forever. it ended at like 1:30 in the morning and i was just laying there sobbing. little baby colin. flawless colin morgan. how do you do what you do? i'll never know. you are such an inspiration to me. and colm meaney was amazing as well. the whole thing was just ahhhh ;lasdkjf;aldsjf;lakdsjf perfect.

Posting my thoughts now. I guess that's cool?

Sobbing.

It's always the little quiet films that get to me like this. The ones I only watch to see some more of someone hot I saw on television - because they don't advertise films like this, they don't even show them in cinemas where I live. The ones that are carried by the actors rather than the gimmicks of the film industry. The ones that come up close and personal. Films like Womb, Stuart: A Life Backwards, Greenberg, and now Parked.

It is a film as beautiful as it is realistic. It is powerful but not in the way Wagner's operas are powerful, but rather like a child's opinion on whichever grown-up thing is powerful. To me it's about gaining something from losing everything, or, how you have never truly lost everything, but I imagine it has something different to offer to everyone who watches it.

Really, no matter who you are or what kind of films you like, you should watch Parked.
