Books I read in 2024

Here is my eclectic and very random-looking read list! The first two images are World Challenge books. I read 27 books and checked off 25 countries for the challenge, for a total of 80 countries read since 2022.

Other than that, I managed to read two Brontë sisters, four graphic novels, one memoir, and a few others I picked up. (Vā is a Pacific anthology even though it's in the graphic novel line) I did more picking up random stuff for the fun of it and as expected got some that were interesting and some meh.

The Cat I Never Named - fictionalized memoir of a teen surviving a siege during the Bosnian war West of the Jordan - interconnected stories of family members in Palestine, Jordan, and the US in the early 80s Here the Whole Time - A warm hug of a story about two gay teens falling in love while sharing a room and overcoming their insecurities Home is Not a Country - novel in verse about a Sudanese teen longing for a country and a life she doesn't have American Street - intense and realistic story set on the streets of Detroit All Things Seen and Unseen - a unique psychological thriller-ish book with a trans coupling and a disabled protagonist Navigating With You - super-cute sapphic romance about teens bonding over a manga series, also with a disabled protagonist

3.Scars or painful spots

Has quite a few scars, most of them from random encounters with various lussi, the ones on her face are from Sellie who got too exited chasing her around while play fighting and ended up taking out her eye.

4.Best places to kiss on their body

Defiantly a neck kissing type of gal, but also appreciates a sweet peck on the cheek 

10.Fears/phobias

afraid of fire- too hot, too incontrollable, and WAY too unpredictable- if you so much as use a lighter near her she will full on sprint in the opposite direction. 

14.Ingrained habits/forces of habit

she will lie down and fall asleep in any places that feel safe, even if she isn't that tiered- a habit left over from her time growing up alone in the wilderness, it was usually too dangerous to sleep, so when she got the chance she always took it.

Okay SSSS Tumblr buddies, I have a problem:

But don’t worry, it’s a good problem! See, as some of you may have noticed, I’ve kind of been doing a lot of SSSS fanart over the past...well, year. And some of that has been gifts, or sent out as postcards, or lives on the page of a sketchbook that can go neatly on a shelf. BUT, more and more I’ve been drawing on smaller, loose pieces of cardstock or Bristol board. And the resulting drawings are piling up.

SO, what I’d like to do is send some of these drawings your way! I have addresses for lots of you, and for some folks from the forum (I was planning to send holiday cards, but oops, I guess they’ll be winter cards instead) but if I’ve never exchanged cards with you, you can still get in on this! Just message me here or on the forum. (Note: I know some of you live in situations where you can’t give out your address, or don’t feel comfortable, and that’s fine! You should always be cautious about sharing your personal information online, especially if you are a minor.)

Anyway, I’m mentioning this here instead of just sneakily sending off cards (which was the original plan) because I thought people might like to make requests. I have more drawings of some characters than others *coughcoughTuuricough* so under the cut I’ve listed which characters or pairings I have lying around, and how many of each character/pairing. If you’d like to request a specific character or pairing (or multiples, I totally don’t mind sending you more than one art!) either reply to this post or send me an ask or message! (If I have your address but you don’t respond...you’ll probably just get something random, haha.)

And...if I have your address, but for some reason you don’t want mail at this time (I know at least one friend is moving soon) please tell me that, too.
