What If? MHA idea/prompt
What if Midoriya didn't encounter All Might? What if he encountered Endeavor, a pro-hero known to be very aggressive to the public, and even more so towards villains.
What if Midoriya asked him if he could be a hero without a quirk?
What if despite how out of character it was for him to say, Endeavor answered that he could try, but he could never be in the top ranks. That, if he had enough talent and intelligence, he could at least make it into Support or Underground.
What if Endeavor scanned over Midoriya's body, scoffing and saying that if he goes in just like that, he might as well give up now?
What if Endeavor, in his weird way of being superior, encouraged Midoriya because he's a believer in being able to do the impossible as long as you put in the effort?
What if he still inspires people to follow what his hero name symbolized? To attempt something with the highest effort. To give themselves the potential to succeed.
Maybe he was just being honest and really didn't care, maybe he needed good PR at the time, maybe he truly thought about what the boy's experience as being a quirkless child was like and (even more ooc) took pity on him.
Maybe Endeavor though that even cannon fodder was still useful.
Either way, it still meant everything to a boy who was just a few more steps away from taking that swan dive.
This was all a random thought, but I feel like Endeavor could manage to pull this off. It would be more like "You can try, but you won't make it anywhere close to the big leagues" rather than overly assuring.
Unlike All Might, I could see Endeavor utilizing those with intelligence very often. All Might is honestly pretty immature and is more of a "Punch first, ask questions later" kind of guy while I see Endeavor as someone who can think things through a lot more. So I can see Endeavor putting more importance to those more backstage heroes, especially the support heroes. I bet he depends on them a lot because of his quirk drawbacks, but isn't the type to admit it.
So yes, while out there, there is some possibility of him directing Midoriya towards more intelligence-based areas of heroics, specifically the ones that don't necessarily need or depend on a quirk for him to succeed.
Endeavor is an asshole, but I can see him answering with objective points to this question to someone who would soon join his kind's place on the statistics. The least he can do is encourage him to make his last moments useful, right?

Changing society in BNHA
So… I came up with an odd thought about which might be the change in society we're expected to witness in BNHA, what was that Midoriya's fight with Tomura was supposed to show to society so that it would change.
There’s a scene that stick particularly in my mind in BNHA, the one of little Tenko wandering through the streets, mentally begging for someone to help him while people pretend not to see him. Finally an old lady notices him but then decides he looks creepy and tells him the police or a Hero or somebody else will help him as she’ll do better go to her job. Little Tenko keeps on walking then, and people keep on seeing and ignoring him until one person reaches out his hand to him. Sadly for Tenko said person is AFO who helps Tenko solely to turn him into Shigaraki Tomura, symbol of fear.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In my country, if an adult sees a small child of 5 wandering alone, he should feel responsible for the kid and help him. You aren’t allowed to ignore it. The result is I’ve always interpreted that scene as Horikoshi blaming society for not helping a child. If one of those people who saw Tenko, instead than ignoring him, had saved Tenko before AFO, then Tenko would have never turned into Shigaraki Tomura.
There are other instances in which Villains seem to be born by how society, instead than caring for them/helping them out, turned their back on them, which caused them to end up on perceiving society as their enemy and therefore choosing a Villain life.
As a result I was expecting at the end of the story the BNHA society would be changed into one who was more willing to help those in need and not just pass the job to the Heroes.
Even Tomura’s speech talk about how people has just got used to be protected due to the Heroes coddling them…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
...the fact that, right from chap 1 as Heroes were fighting people would just stop and stare as if it were a show, and the whole All Might being a pillar so that the weight would rest on him made me think the theme was that society had to turn into a more helpful one instead than just a passive one that watches Heroes saving people.
But then I’ve been wondering if the theme hadn’t somehow shifted along the way… or maybe I just had misunderstood it.
You see… after the first war the story shows us the struggle of Heroes. Some of them, facing all that destruction, think they should change work. Midnight and other Heroes are dead, while other Heroes like Endeavor and the Class A students are hurt. The public attacks Heroes for failing to protect them. Even at Enji’s press conference they aren’t really angry with him for what he did to his family but for allowing Machia’s rampage, for failing to stop the destruction Villains caused. In short for failing as a Hero.
All Might’s statue starts to get vandalized and Uraraka wonders who’ll help Heroes when they need to be protected, before giving a speech in which she assures the public only Heroes will be coated in filth, that they won’t be asked to do the same, but asks them to just help a Hero (Midoriya) rest so he will be able to keep on fighting for the people.
Later, much later, when Midoriya is fighting Tomura, people will still try to help him, to help the Hero fight Tomura by giving Eraser Head shirts and other necessities.
So it can be that THIS IS the change watching Midoriya fight was meant to bring in the society, making it aware they should help their Heroes instead than just watching them.
In a way that’s also what Spinner blames himself for failing to do, he believes he didn’t step in and saved Tomura, his Hero, sooner.
It’s not really a new idea in the story.
When Bakugō was kidnapped Tomura himself, talking with him, asked him why the press was criticizing Heroes who were, after all, humans whose only crime was doing too little, too late. Society expected them to be perfect but humans can screw up here and there, can they?
Tumblr media
In truth though, especially after the Stain’s arc, Tomura’s speech doesn’t feel like a “we should support Heroes more” kind of speech, but a Heroes really aren’t doing enough, with Shūichi summarizing how Stain taught them that when Heroes started protecting people for a paycheck they stopped being Heroes… which might seem him scolding them for doing it for their self interest… but if we turn it around it can also mean that since they’re PAID to save people, if they don’t they FAIL at their work and this allows society to complain and ask for a refund.
To go back to the scene of the lady not helping Tenko this would be that the story isn’t scolding the lady for not helping Tenko… but for not helping the Heroes to find Tenko so that they could help him.
While the result is similar (either way Tenko gets help) the final message is different. People aren’t asked anymore to help other people but… let’s call it the system in place. They’re asked to take responsibility in helping the Heroes, to cooperate with them so as to make the Hero society work better.
Midoriya’s fight with Tomura was meant to show people Heroes need them to win and save them, society has no interest in saving Tomura, they needed to see Midoriya win with their help so that they would change and become more supportive of Heroes.
Then Heroes… assuming they’re good Heroes… could have it easier saving people so that more of them could be saved. In short the idea BNHA might be trying to propose is, if common people also were to turn into a bit of a Hero (as they would support Heroes and be Heroes for their Heroes), the Heroes then could prevent more easily things from getting worse which is what Midoriya and Tsukauchi talk about.
Now… I don’t know if this is the theme Horikoshi went for and if this was his intention from the start (honestly to be Tomura’s speech felt like him scolding the Heroes, not society for deciding not to support them) but the real problem I see with this theme, is that it might work in Japan, but not so much in the west.
Japan has a good relation with its police (I’ll take supporting Heroes can be the equivalent of supporting police in the real world), they don’t fear it, they find it reassuring, they’re regarded with great respect and admiration. They aren’t at the level of the Heroes of BNHA but it’s quite a difference with how many countries in the west instead fear police, blame it for its violence and abuse of authority and don’t see it as really reassuring or supportive of people or worthy of respect.
Japanese people don’t discuss when the police arrest someone, if they do it should be because that someone was guilty (and once you’re arrested you’ll generally are judged guilty in Japan) while in the west we fear more the people might have caught the wrong guy for various reasons.
So while in Japan a theme that remembers people of the importance of being supportive with the people in charge of the protection of citizens might work… in the west it might be taken differently. Many western countries are more critical of the government and of the police than in Japan, which is also why many fanfic writers like to paint the Hero Commission as the bad guy in their stories, while Horikoshi, despite saying it did some wrong things, didn’t really handle it as an evil organization.
Society remains unaware of its wrongdoing, the president is murdered off in a quick scene and, after a brief period in which Mera was in charge, Hawks is placed as the new president and, since Hawks is meant to be seen as a good guy, likely this is our narrative clue that the Hero Commission will take a turn for the better, with him even trying to free Lady Nagant and her remaining in jail just because she decided to stay.
It kind of reminds me of how in the past in Japan when a clan rebelled and then lost, the family head would commit seppuku and they would switch to a new family head and the clan would be pardoned… so I guess from a Japanese standpoint this can work just fine while here, if we’ve an organization doing something dirty we worry to make sure we remove EVERYONE who was involved in it, not just the boss… but okay, I guess we’ll see how Horikoshi expects society to change in future chapters so I guess I should just be patient and, for now, this is just food for thoughts as I might be completely off track.

Todo fam headcanons
Enji isn’t a dick addition
He didn’t intentionally train any of his to be heroes, he just accepted them as they were
Touya really wanted to be a hero, but when they figured out his quirk didn’t work with his body they had to have a lot of long hard talks, they tried to find a lot of support gear but nothing could completely keep him from burning himself and they didn’t want him to risk his life
He came around to the idea eventually and ended up going to school to become a paramedic
Fuyumi didn’t get parentified and was allowed to explore what she wanted, she ended up loving art and went to an art school before apprenticing under a sculptor and then a tattoo artist, she eventually went back to sculpting and runs her own studio now
Natsuo followed in his big brothers footsteps and went to med school, he’s an er doctor
Shoto loved the skating trips his mom took him on and became a professional/Olympic figure skater and coach
Also, Rei was a snowboarder in this universe because I said so
It should be mentioned, Touya took up rock climbing as a hobby and got really into it
Fuyumi started doing mma as a stress release, she tried to get her siblings into it but it reminded Touya too much of training and the other two never enjoyed fighting
Natsuo feels like he gets plenty of physical activity between the er and his twice weekly workouts, so his hobby is playing video games,
Enji picked up crocheting after rei told him he needed a non stressful hobby to help him relax
Rei I turn felt she also needed a nonstressful hobby, and promptly chose rebuilding old cars because they have more money than god and can certainly afford it
Shoto never really made time for hobbies until fuyumi taught him how to sculpt, now he enjoys making weird little trinkets to give friends and family, and occasionally his competitors
I like to think the show still progresses normally, just with shinsou in 1A instead of shoto
The the reason we find out about the todoroki family is cause bakugou and midoriya both do their internship with Endeavor sanders he gushed about his wife and kids every chance he got
Midoriya thought shoto was the best thing ever and rei tried to set them up
She succeeded and got an adorable little son in law
Fuyumi showed up during bakugous internship with miruko to drop off some food for her wife and he freaked out cause he thinks miruko is so cool and turns out she has a badass wife too, best day ever
Touya meets both of them when he shows up at hawks agency to pick him up for their dinner date, they both lose their shit cause why are so many of them dating heroes
They meet natsuo during his internship/study program with recovery girl
Then they see rei on tv as a pro snowboarder
Now they’re wondering how many todorokis there are cause they just keep showing up everywhere
Then they find out that Touya and fuyumi are both in a heavy metal band, which segways into them finding out all of the todoroki play various instruments, and sports
When they ask how the hell they all know so much and have so many hobbies they just respond that they were homeschooled and rich, this left a lot of time and money to invest in random interests, so they all developed a ton of skills for absolutely no other reason than they got bored
Now Endeavor is number one after allmight retired, and they were competing for that spot beforehand but it was more of a friendly rivalry to encourage them to get better (maybe it started out legit but they both chilled quite a bit as they got older and eventually became friendly, though they kept up the image for the public and because it made them better heroes), but after all might was forced to retire endeavor publicly stated that this wasn’t the way he wanted their rivalry to end, but he would do his best to honour all might memory and carry on his legacy
He also encourages the new number two, his son in law hawks and every other hero to challenge him and make him keep working for his position
Now, this was cleared with hawks beforehand kind of as an announcement of his engagement to Touya, sadly the public misinterpreted that and thought that he was dating his daughter fuyumi, miruko shot that down quick and informed everyone that fuyumi was hers and hawks could fight her for it, all in good fun, and hawks clarified that he appreciates the offer cause fuyumi is great, but he’s very gay and quite in love with her brother
This was great, it was the closest to celebrity drama they’ve ever gotten from the todoroki family and it’s still super wholesome

This is a long rant so you can totally delete if you’re not interested, though I don’t know who else to talk to about this so I hope you don’t mind me getting something off my chest: I feel really bad for todoroki.
He tried the hardest to save his villain (making a plan to stop Dabi by creating a new move, continually tried to get Endeavor to cooperate with him to meet Dabi, letting Dabi take his anger out at him, and racing meet him not once but twice, saving him from killing himself even when he was the most suicidal out of the villain trio), hell, he was the most empathetic to his villain without ever needing to see the child self because he thought they would have been the same if Todoroki didn’t get the support from his friends. Too bad Touya was so hell bent on his suicide mission with Endeavor that Todoroki couldn’t get through him the first time.
Which leads to the ending of Touya dying in a machine and the brothers still having glass stuck between them. Endeavor may have took over the ending, but Todoroki was the only one who connected to Touya by asking him about his favorite food instead of talking over him. Even then, Endeavor gets to seem cool with “I’ll handle the consequences” and Natsuo complimenting him despite him running away until he couldn’t and almost did a murder-suicide with Touya. Hell, Endeavor literally never faced any consequences in the end as the next time we see him with his psuedo-family (on another note, it feels like salt in the wound Hawks got to live out his happy family dreams while Also not getting any consequences for killing Twice as a hero). Rei sticks by him for some goddamn reason and the last thing Fuyumi talks about is losing her job because of Endeavor’s actions. Before then, the only consequences Endeavor faced was for him failing as a hero and civilians getting mad at that. Everytime someone brings up the abuse, it always brushing it aside besides Iida/Kirishima commenting on it. Sero’s “no one needs that tragic crap” doesn’t really help either since it was more about his own motivations than helping Todoroki dialogue wise. We don’t even get to see All Might’s reaction who was told in the beginning Todoroki was only born to defeat him (Endeavor actually used pronouns calling Todoroki an object in the original Japanese in this convo). We don’t get to see anyone who knows Eri (outside of Midoriya) give the same sympathy to Todoroki because now they know he went through a similar experience a decade of his life (but even then Midoriya praises Endeavor once when fighting Dabi so :/).
Barely anyone in the family comforted him on screen and it truly feels like his family fell apart despite doing his best learning about them in under a year. Todoroki doesn’t get to have that bowl of udon OR soba with Touya now.
The narrative kinda also barred him from the origin trio thing in the end, and he didn’t even get to talk to/cry about Touya to Uraraka and Midoriya (even though I personally feel like both their stories kind of fell apart because of that talk) (also he has the most complicated/interesting relationship with both All Might and his villain/brother but whateve). Todoroki is still haunted by Endeavor’s name a decade later (even if it’s a smaller shadow) and EVEN THEN Endeavor is still looked at as one of the greatest heroes. Endeavor almost killed Touya and the family for not acting sooner and he gets labeled as great. Endeavor gets to have replacement children while everyone else don’t get the justice they deserved.
He doesn’t even get his rising title in the anime!! They took it away from him!! The anime wants you to think all of the Todoroki family saved Touya, but Todoroki did 90% of the work!!
This might seem odd change in topic, but Tenko/Shigaraki has a lot of parallels to Todoroki, and I guess their abusive guardians taking over their plots and leaving behind tragedy can be added to that list.
I’m so mad Endeavor got to live… Though it seems like anyone didn’t get any justice about their abusers besides Eri.
I’m not the biggest Shoto fan, but I’ll do my best to focus on him for this
You know, I’d say there are three levels to why I hate Endeavor so much.
He is a shit guy. He’s an abuser, who’s entire reason is oh he didn’t get first place in a popularity contest, and couldn’t be bothered to try and be decent to the public.
The narrative refuses to acknowledge it. His actions once All Might is forced to retire are all massively downplayed mixed with excuses, and he gets an undeserved angst fest every time he faces even the possibility of consequences.
Every other character and the plot has to be sacrificed to prop him up.
And even after Endeavor’s ‘redemption’ and cryfest at the hospital, the whole fucking family puts Shoto at the center of everything. As if that hasn’t been one of the main reasons everyone in the family (except Endeavor who gets nothing but benefits from this) is struggling. If either Endeavor was dead, or Shoto was allowed to hate Endeavor, things wouldn't have turned out so badly.
I saw a fic a while ago and the premise was that the rest of the Todoroki family was with Touya and Shoto was left all alone. And even just reading the fic’s description I’m thinking what are they talking about they weren’t there for Touya, they were there for Endeavor!
Shoto is the only one who talks to Dabi, everyone else is at mass talking at him, in both the battle and epilogue. The battle the rest of the family is just victim-blaming/ scapegoating Dabi blindly, not questioning anything. Natsuo, Fuyumi and Rei don’t say a single word to Dabi after, no they’re talking to Endeavor, they only get a few minutes to see Dabi, possibly forever considering the prison system, and they spend it on the Manbaby. Shoto only manages to ask one question at the end, while they're being forced out, which Dabi demonstrates that he aware and was willing to talk to the best of his abilities, the family just couldn’t be bothered.
I’m disgusted by 1A, UA, the other pros, etc, ’s response(s) to the reveal, no one ever asks if Shoto is okay, or his feelings are. They all just assume, and earlier in the series we see Midori-enabler-ya tell him that he’s forgiving Endeavor, and that shows he’s moving on. Forgiveness isn’t needed to move on, and I believe can very much get in the way of it. And that’s the closest we get to anyone actually caring about Shoto’s or any of the other victims feelings that weren’t the villains.
I wish I could say I was surprised by Rei (or Fuyumi) but I’m not. Rei basically tells Natsuo and Fuyumi they have to forgive him because he sent her a flower. Besides the disturbing parallels from "Harlequinade" Batman: The Animated Series except this one sees it as a good thing. This moment and the continuing progression/ reveal of her character, never made me think highly of her. She reads as someone who is massively codependent and an enabler, regardless of the reason for that, that is the result
Natsuo I was disappointed by, he was the only one who didn’t see the bare minimum of effort from Endeavor as reason to forgive/ forget everything he’s done. Yet in the final showdown he directly blames Dabi for being difficult.
And about Eri, I firmly believe that she was only helped at all because Overhaul was a villain outside of abusing/torturing her. If he was an ‘innocent’ civilian, hero, or part of the commission, they would have given(read forced) her back without hesitation or a second thought, they basically did that anyway when she was first introduced. Here’s a link on what I mean https://www.tumblr.com/thr0wnawayy/764328039502987264/whats-your-opinion-about-eri-i-mean-shes-cute?source=share And a whole lot of @thr0wnawayy ‘s first reblog could be taken and applied to Shoto

Izuku 1/2 - better name pending -Snip
"You haven't used your quirk." Izuku looked up from the snack he got at the vendors. "The first two events of the Sports Festival are over." Todoroki stated. "You could have handled the obstacle course with ease with your wings, no one would have been able to touch you. Instead you handicapped yourself."
"This is not a criticism I need to hear from someone who's only been using half their quirk the entire year." Izuku pointed out.
"It's not a criticism, I just wanted to know if...if we're doing it for the same reason." There was an edge of desperation in his voice. An almost need that somebody would understand.
"It's not just that I'm not using it." Izuku unscrewed the the cap of his water and pour some on his exposed arm, where it beaded up unnaturally. "I've made it so I can't. There was a time when these water-based transformation quirks were a lot more common, so they developed a type of waterproof soap to prevent accidents." "Why?' Todoroki breathed.
"Because," Izuku seemed to falter for a second before steeling himself. "I love my quirk. I love how useful it can be in being a hero. But I am NOT my quirk. My potential, my capacity to help, to grow, to achieve, those things are me and not a magical transformation. So many people see a hero and their potential as as nothing more than their quirk and they're wrong." Izuku ended his impromptu speech with a snarl.
Todoroki sat down hard. Blood pounded in his ears as Midoriya's words repeated themselves again and again in his ears I am not my quirk.
Because his quirk was all he'd even been. He'd been born for it, his siblings had been born in their attempts to make what would be his quirk. His childhood, his training, everything he'd ever been was because of his quirk, and the bastard that gave him half of it.
I am not my quirk
They're wrong
"Todoroki, are you okay?"
"Do you really believe there's more to me than my quirk?"
Izuku was quiet for a moment. "Todoroki, who do I need to have Sensei beat up?"
Sheer confusion brought him back to his sense for a bit. "What?" "If I beat them up I'm going to get expelled. Sensei, he -he really doesn't care." "He doesn't care about going toe to toe with the number 2 pro hero?" Todoroki asked skeptically. To his surprise, Midoriya grinned. "Well, the last pro hero was a hugely disappointing fight, so this would probably be a treat."
"Who was the last hero?"
"Not gonna name names, but someone who thought me being quirkless meant I should be abused and be thankful for the opportunity to serve my betters."
That was sick. "I hope your Sensei kicked his ass." Izuku grinned. It wasn't a nice grin. "He did." Then his grin faltered. "I was a late bloomer. Eight years old." "Did things get better?" Todoraki asked. "Almost immediately." Izuku said bitterly. "But that was almost worse because, things didn't really change, I just wasn't someone less evolved, so how they treated me was wrong. But...that's not why it was wrong and the next quirkless person or person with an unactivated quirk would be treated just how I was. So I want to change the idea that quirks are what's important. I'm going to do my best to win the sports festival quirkless. I'll show everyone just what the quirkless can do!"
Todoroki's hands gripped his knees. "My father, Endeavor - the number two hero. He bought my mother because he wanted her quirk. He wanted to create a strong enough quirk to unseat All Might. It took him four tries to succeed. He doesn't really care about my siblings, just me - his masterpiece." "And your mother?" Izuku was almost afraid to ask.
"She's been in a mental hospital since I was small."
"Consider his ass kicked." Izuku took a swing of his water. "Todoroki...I completely support you not using your fire today, but you're going to have to use it in hero work eventually. So," Izuku grinned. "How would you feel about using it in a way impossible for Endeavor?"
"Impossible for Endeavor?" Todoroki tilted his head like a confused cat. "For all his faults as a human being, he's a master of the flame."
Izuku snorted. "Master? His abilities are no fire, yes fire, and unreasonable amount of fire. What I'm talking about is being a rescue hero."
Todoroki let out a small laugh at Izuku's description of Endeavor's capabilities. The first Izuku had ever heard him make. "What do you mean a rescue hero? I'm clearly most suited for combat."
"And according to the people growing up the only thing I was suitable for was a training tool for actual quirked people to practice their quirks on, so fuck was people say we're 'suited' for'." Izuku paled. "Please don't tell my Mom I said that. But your quirk would be perfect for rescue work."
"How so?"
"You can make fire at will. You could keep people warm in an avalanche - and your ice could do the opposite in an overheating situation. You could be light in a cave in or night rescue. You could combine your fire and ice to make fresh water, or use your fire to cook. Your ice could act as supports to prevent further collapse, kind of like Rock Lock's quirk. You would be an AMAZING rescue hero. And all of it would be using both sides of your quirk to help and comfort rather than just attack. And that's kinda of what I meant by something Endeavor wasn't capable of. He's sort of a combat monster, for a given value, but that's all he is."
That was...that was a lot of things no one had ever told him before. He was told since his quirk appeared that he was going to be the best hero, and to do that he needed to take down villains. But to Midoriya, he had potential outside of combat. To help those that needed it the most without causing harm. That the fire he hated so much could be used as a gentle warmth.
Midoriya was right. That was impossible for his father.
"A rescue hero. I...I think I like that. Thank you for you guidance."
"We both have something to prove." Midoriya he'd out his water bottle like a toast. "Let's mess with their conceptions."
Todoroki grinned and tapped his own water bottle to Midoriya's. "Let's"

To build off my ask about the Izucrew and the LOV forced team up-
The HPSC being the ones to pushed those two groups into an unsteady alliance has so much potental. Not to mention, it has the opportunity to bring in Hawks (and perhaps Tokoyami as well), and that in itself can open a whole can of Morally Gray Worms. Which could also be used to begin the foreshadowing for Lady Nagant.
Alongside the obvious interactions (Midoriya, Aoyama, and Shigaraki; Todoroki and Dabi; Toga and Uraraka), it opens the door for interactions and conversations beyond that, just to spitball random but hopefully interesting pairs- Dabi and Tsuyu; Aoyama and Twice; Midoriya and Spinner; Todoroki and Shigaraki; etc etc.
Momo and Kurogiri ‼️ That's such a cool idea. However, personally, I'd imagine this arc happening post-School Festival Arc but pre-PLW Arc, so technically speaking Kurogiri would've already be in Tartarus at that point (if my memory serves me correct). But that duo still has so much potential.
And ooooo, the rest of class 1-A and their reaction! That actually makes me wonder how televised this "team up" would be and if the HPSC is the common enemy, I wonder how much they would twist it to make it look like they're the good guys and the Izucrew are traitors? Which then me wonder if the rest of class 1-A and UA staff (& the heroes) would fall for the HPSC lies or see past the bull. I feel like Nedzu and All Might wouldn't fall for it, and as much as I hate to say it, possibly Endeavor as well (at least when it comes the traitor accusations pointed specifically towards Todoroki). Not to mention, I can imagine the panic that Aoyama's parents would feel when the HPSC pulls that traitor accusation stunt (and then the absolute panic Aoyama himself would feel when that stunt finally reaches the ears of the Izucrew and LOV).
Scenario time-
Hear me out. Maybe whoever the Common Enemy Group is (whether it'd be the HPSC, PLF, or an original group), perhaps they somehow had managed to capture all but one of Izucrew and all but one LOV. So not only do the two people not captured are double forced to work together, they are rushing against time because they don't know what the Common Enemy Group is going to do to the captured.
So, in this scenario, I'd imagine the two people to avoid captured are Toga and Aoyama. Someway, somehow, the pair is successful in breaking into the Common Enemy Group's base, now whether or not they're success in saving the rest of the Izucrew and LOV is shrugs, but regardless a battle is on the horizon and someone's not escaping without a couple of scars (hmmmm, maybe without someone with a healing quirk, Midoriya could actually lose an arm?). Maybe a silly little thing is that perhaps Toga is the one that ends up (on accident) freeing most of the Izecrew and Aoyama ends up (on accident) freeing most of the LOV. (conflicted feeling then be conflicting)
Complete forgot to mention that with the Izucrew & LOV Forced Team Up Arc is that in the scenario -> the Izucrew and the LOV had already been “working together” to fight against the Common Enemy Group for a week or two weeks prior to Toga and Aoyama breaking into the Common Enemy Group’s base. I’d imagine that the battle resulting from the Izucrew and the LOV being freed to be the climax of the arc. That being said, I actually have no clue how the Izucrew gets back to UA, especially if they already been labeled traitors by either the media or the HPSC. Another thing I’d like to add because I kept thinking about the scenario more after I sent the second ask. Is that if the arc takes place before the Joint Training Arc, it’d be interesting (and better) if during the climax battle that one of Izucrew get serious hurt and this is when he unlocks Blackwhip instead unlocking it because Monoma insulted Bakugo. Also, during this battle Midoriya would absolutely go Feral™️ Mode and LOV sees exactly why & how he won against Stain, Muscular, Overhaul, and (if this takes place post School Featival) Gentle Criminal & La Brava (actually I don’t remember if the LOV knows that about the Midoriya vs Gentle Criminal & La Brava fight). And maybe just for fun, Midoriya could replicate one of, let’s say, Shigaraki’s moves during the climax battle 👀. Okay, so this could be too much, but perhaps the climax battle could also be when Toga goes through her quirk awakening and when we see Aoyama use Naval Laser without his belt for the first time as well?
-
I've read a lot of Suspected Traitor Midoriya Izuku AUs in my time, and something that always comes up is this:
Someone sees Izuku's analysis, and they become paranoid or scared by the details within it, realising their quirk could be taken down so easily, and look a bit further. In doing so, they reach, yet you can understand why they got to this point.
They notice how his quirk seems... new. Bakugou claimed that he believed Izuku was quirkless on the first day. Izuku cannot control his quirk at first. He acts too nervous for someone with such a powerful quirk, who should have been treated greatly because of it.
They see all this, and they make it fit their narrative, rather trying to see the truth because they already have it in their head that Izuku is dangerous.
And so, they come to the conclusion that he's the traitor. That he recieved his quirk from All for One, and he's nervous because he has to keep an eye on everyone to report back to the League.
Now, it's usually a 1-A member, Aizawa, or even All Might, who reaches this conclusion. It tends to only be Shouto, Shinsou, and Bakugou who don't believe.
But, imagine for a moment, that it's an old classmate of Izuku's. Someone, maybe the long-fingers guy, sees his progress in the Sports Festival, and is stupefied by his quirk. Then they remember that Izuku used to have a 'creepy' notebook full of analysing heroes, and they saw the All Might vs All for One fight, and they are the ones to report Izuku to the police, who then take it to the HPSC.
The HPSC would need a reason to take this seriously, and actually want to get rid of Izuku.
So, there would have to be some set-up. Maybe, by this point, Izuku's started to realise how corrupt hero society is and is trying to change it. He investigates certain heroes and realises that they really don't deserve to be heroes, or to be hailed as them.
Then he manages to ruin their reputation. Those heroes lose their careers after Izuku, anonymously, exposes them. But, the HPSC can find the IP address, even if he changes it because of some sort of techno quirk, and realise that Izuku is exposing them - he's a threat.
So, they take it seriously. Or rather, they use it. They get this theory that Izuku is working for the League, and they contact Nedzu to get rid of him, maybe to send him to Tartarus or even kill him. And to pressure Nedzu further when he refuses, because he knows that Izuku recieved his quirk from All Might and knows why he's full of anxiety, the HPSC hire people to leak the theory to the public.
Suddenly, people everywhere are calling for Izuku to be removed from U.A., and 'answer for his crimes'. People who have lost close friends or family to the League are outraged that U.A. are defending the bastard traitor.
Thing is: nobody who knows Izuku believes it's him. All Might is offended by the idea, 1-A adore Izuku, Aizawa thinks it's ridiculous that someone so anxious could be a traitor, the staff love Izuku, and his friends are willing to defend him at all costs. Even outsiders, such as 1-B, who aren't that close to Izuku, think the theory is ridiculous.
But, the public aren't letting up, and neither are the HPSC. Nedzu doesn't particularly care about the public's opinion of him, as he views humans as lesser than him anyway, but he can't deny that he has to do something.
Unfortunately, his intelligence is his own worse enemy, as he deliberates far too long, and somebody else makes the first move. The public.
Someone manages to destroy the gates, and they raid U.A. Izuku is the target, and people are being hurt in the hunt. He has no choice but to run, as he doesn't want anyone else to be hurt for his sake.
But, his friends aren't willing to let him deal with this alone.
They run away with him, as 1-A do everything in their power to make sure Izuku gets out of the danger zone.
Meanwhile, the LOV are pissed too. Well, Tomura is seething, because he hates Izuku and hates the idea that they're secretly working together even more. The Stain Supporters like the idea, but it also conflicts how they view Izuku as a 'true hero' as Stain proclaimed.
Maybe they're checking out the downfall of U.A., enjoying every bit of it, when they see the IzuCrew booking it. Curious, they follow, and the raging army behind them see this. They see the League following after the IzuCrew, and they reach once more.
Suddenly, all of them are being chased down, and can do nothing but run. Except, the villains don't care. They try to attack the civillians - the IzuCrew do everything they can to stop them, to make sure the civillians are not injured.
They fight each other as they run, trying to get rid of each other, and the villains trying to get rid of the civillians as well.
Until the HSPC contacts local heroes to take down the LOV and the IzuCrew by any means necessary.
It's no longer angry civillians - it's heroes who are trained in combat.
They have no choice but to work together to survive. For days, weeks even, they have no choice but to work together to survive, and that would lead to each of them somehow becoming closer to understanding each other. Maybe when they have to keep watch during the night and there's two awake at all times.
Until all but Himiko and Yuuga are captured. A bunch of heroes, perhaps the ones Izuku exposed, work together to take them down and by surprise.
They're taken to Tartarus, and they can only hope Yuuga and Himiko can rescue them.
This would be where the traitor Yuuga would be revealed to the audience, as Himiko casually brings it up, though Yuuga hates being called a traitor.
And so on and so forth.
I realise that I went overboard, but it's fine. We all want to see it anyway.
(Now I really wanna write a fic with this premise, but I have commitment issues.)
(P.S. Thanks the idea. This was a joy to ideate.)

Thank you to those who replied to my ask about villains for my MHA story. And thank you (sorry I forgot your username otherwise I would have put it here) for leaving me with this:
Instead of basing off of other characters, my suggestion is to think, "what are the themes and needs of the story?" Or put another way, "who are these villains meant to oppose?" Toga exists to foil Ochako. Dabi foils Todoroki. Shigarakil foils Deku. Kurogiri foils Aizawa. AFO foils and opposes All Might. Spinner, Compress, Magne, etc. exist in the story to provide support. So, who are your protagonists? What plot do you want to tell with them?
So now I have a different question.

nobody thought I'd make a Kiritodo kid BUT I DID
Tumblr media
Keisuke Kirishima:
#12 pro hero Red Riot and #5 prohero Shoto got together a few years after graduating. It was a party, and somehow, they ended up together after trailing after Midoriya and Bakugo. Todoroki was hesitant at first, but Kirishima's smile was really too hard to resist. It took a while to get married and all that, but Kirishima was just happy to spend his life him with Shoto. Midoriya and Kirishima thought it was a great idea to have kids of the same age so they could have a built-in best friend, Shoto, and Bakugo didn't care either way.
Keisuke's quirk: Frost Fire is the most fine-tuned combination of both quirks. In the simplest terms, he can either turn himself into fire or solid ice. He also has a limited power to shoot out fire or ice with training. Kirishima was enthralled with his quirk and loves bragging about his kid.
Keisuke always connected with Kirishima, they had the same smile, same laugh. They both had such a go-lucky, manly personality that they were inseparable duo. But with Shoto, he felt a little disconnected.
When he was 6 years old, he showed his quirk. Everyone was all over the little prodigy. When Shoto's father, Endeavor, found out, he was insistent on letting him train Keisuke. When Shoto declined, saying that he was way to young, Endeavor asked to babysit instead. So Shoto/Kirishima let them out for the day. Endeavor was long retired but when they were out getting ice cream, a villian attacked the shop. Keisuke was thrown in the crossfire, injuring his left eye. Shoto (and honestly the whole family) was furious. After that, Keisuke hasn't seen his grandpa. Only seeing the rest of the family every so often.
Keisuke doesn't mind following his parents' footsteps. He has a cool quirk, so he might as well use it. He was a recommendation for UA, obviously being the grandson of a legacy of heroes. But he'll always keep a good attitude, and dad jokes for his future years of saving.

New Au game: after Nana's death All Might decides to become the #1 underground hero instead of the Symbol of Peace, he still has OFA.
Yagi's goal was to create a peaceful world where people could be happy and safe. After Nana died, he realized he didn't have to be well-known for that to be the case. In fact, it might be better because that means he can devote more time to doing his job than appealing to the public.
All Might is still his Hero Name, but it's now only spoken in hushed whispers in the underground, about the storm in human skin that obliterated an entire gang or warehouse or whatever in a single night.
All For One knows exactly who All Might is. What he doesn't know is where. Ever. It's completely throwing off his plans because he has no way of being sure if All Might is nearby when he does something, and he loses several irreplaceable assets such as Gigantomachia that way. This comes back to bite him when All Might finally catches up with him.
There is no Symbol of Peace. Endeavor is the Number One Hero, having gotten there only a few years after his debut. This also means that because Heroes can't be complacent and rely on All Might, Heroes in this AU are generally more competent and less motivated by fame and fortune, because as far as most people know the Era of Chaos was dealt with as a group effort.
All Might still saves Midoriya from the Sludge Villain, and when Midoriya asks if he can be a Hero without a Quirk, he says yes.
+1. Bakugou is an Endeavor Stan because Endeavor is the strongest Hero he knows.
+2. The above point is not as concerning as it sounds because without All Might, Endeavor never spirals into obsession so he and his family are doing great. Well, it's still concerning that Bakugou's motivations are all about fighting people, but he's like 14 he'll get there.

You mentioned that you were not a fan of the Endeavor Agency arc, and I’m right there with you. So in your opinion, is there anything you would change to make the arc more worthwhile? Or would scrap that entire arc and have a brand new arc instead?
IMO, maybe have Midoriya focus on simply on trying to unlock and make Blackwhip under his control? Maybe because he felt that getting a hold of his powers trumps anything else? Or he doesn’t want to repeat what happened at the Joint Training fight? Or he doesn’t feel like there are any pro heroes that can help him get a hold of it, other than All Might?
Like I said, this was just an idea I thought of when I was getting ready to ask this, but what changes would you make for the Endeavor Agency arc?
This is a great question! Honestly, there's probably two ways I'd think about going about this.
1. Izuku doesn't join another work study at all
Instead, he takes some time to process everything he just went through. Not just everything that happened with Overhaul, but his entire awful experience with Nighteye. He bonds more with Eri, trains more with All Might, speaks with Yoichi in his dreams more often, and sees Hound Dog a few times to help cope with what happened. Even works more on controlling Blackwhip like you said. I also would have loved a scene where he confides in All Might about how Nighteye treated him and All Might reaffirms that he is worthy of One For All and that it wasn't Nighteye's place to decide that.
True, this would make for a slow arc. But I think taking some time to himself would have done Izuku well. The problem with this is that it might have put him behind his classmates, but he was only a first year. His work study could have been done at another time. It was never a requirement for first years in the first place.
From a narrative perspective, it would have been hard to place him in the Paranormal Liberation War. The UA students were only there because of their Work Studies. However, if Mirio who wasn't part of an agency at the time- and wasn't even technically an active UA student- could show up, there could have been a way to write him in somehow.
2. Izuku works under literally any other hero doing work studies
You can't tell me he wouldn't at least be considered by other heroes. He was the one who took down Overhaul and saved Eri, a mission both Fatgum and Ryuku were apart of. It should be common knowledge among the pros how skilled and capable he is. If other first year students got work studies so easily, you can't tell me that he couldn't have interned with anyone else.
(Perfect chance to have him bond with other 1A students by the way. Or even 1B students. Could have even had him work alongside Iida in Hosu. Hori, it's okay to have him spend time with people other than Bakugou)
I'm sorry, I just can't see Izuku willingly working under a man who abused his family and is practically the embodiment of corruption of hero society. Bakugou, sure, but not someone as moral as Izuku is. He was (rightfully) infuriated by Overhaul's treatment of Eri, why in the world would he tolerate Endeavor? And even if you make the argument that Endeavor's changing, Izuku would have no way of knowing that. Why wouldn't he at least try to reach out to other heroes?
Would have been even better if he at least tried to convince Todoroki to do the same. Would have shown that he really did care about his friend's well-being and wanted him to be free from his father's control.
But hey, what do I know🤷🏾‍♀️

Chapter 4: Family Secrets: Todoroki's Curse, Midoriya's Legacy
“Todoroki raised his left arm, a hint of hesitation crossing his face. “Earlier, I declared war on you. I mentioned that you had All Might in your corner.” Midoriya immediately tensed at the mention of his mentor. “Back at the USJ, the resemblance was uncanny. Asui was right when she pointed it out on the bus. Your power and All Might’s power; they’re practically identical.”
Midoriya gulped.
“Midoriya, tell me. Are you All Might’s secret lovechild or something?”
“Am I… WHAT?!!!”
-
Around the corner, Bakugou was eavesdropping, caught between laughing and rolling his eyes in disbelief. "What the hell?!" he muttered under his breath, trying to stifle a snicker. “That loser couldn’t even be All Might’s kid if he tried!”
Listening in from a nearby wall, Jirou also struggled to contain her laughter, covering her mouth with her hand. “This is gold,” she whispered to herself, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
Meanwhile, Midoriya was frantically waving his hands, trying to explain himself. “No, Todoroki! That’s not it at all! I mean, All Might is my mentor, but—”
Todoroki narrowed his eyes, the scepticism in his gaze deepening. “But what? You can’t just drop a bomb like that and expect me to take your word for it.”
“I swear! It’s just a coincidence! I’ve been training really hard, and my Quirk—”
“Coincidence?” Todoroki cut him off, his voice low and serious. “That’s not how it works, Midoriya. You can’t expect me to believe that you’ve never wondered about the connection.”
Midoriya opened his mouth to argue, but the words wouldn’t come. Instead, he felt a knot of anxiety tightening in his chest. “I mean, yeah, I’ve thought about it, but—”
“So if you’re related to the number one hero, that means I have even more reason to beat you,” Todoroki said, his voice steady but tinged with intensity. Midoriya, along with the two hidden eavesdroppers, perked up at that.
“Have you ever heard of Quirk Marriages?” Todoroki continued, his gaze focused on Midoriya. “I’m the by-product of one such union. My father, Endeavor, has strived to beat All Might but never succeeded, so he... bought my mother from her parents because she had a powerful Ice Quirk. He had four kids until they had the perfect one with a dual Fire and Ice Quirk—me.”
Midoriya felt his heart drop, frozen in shock. “He… he bought her?” The reality of the situation began to sink in, and he felt a mix of disbelief and horror. How could a Pro Hero, someone sworn to protect and serve the people do something so horrible and be so petty because he wanted to be the best?
Jirou and Bakugou shared similar expressions of dismay, both equally horrified by Todoroki's revelation. “That’s so messed up,” Jirou whispered under her breath.
Todoroki's expression hardened. “That’s why I’m going to become the number one hero,” he declared, the conviction in his voice echoing in the corridor. “For myself. and I’ll show my old man that I can do it with only my right side.”
“But why?” Midoriya asked, “Todoroki, you…”
“Because fire’s a curse!” The heterochroma intercepted him. “My elder brother, Touya, was born with a powerful Fire Quirk, just like Endeavor. But he inherited our mother’s resistance to the cold instead of the heat. He was burned alive by his own flames.”
The atmosphere grew dense with tension, and Midoriya’s heart raced as he processed the weight of Todoroki’s words. “That’s horrible…”
“And as for me,” Todoroki continued, his voice quieter but no less intense, “I was forced to train until I vomited since I was five. My mother… she went crazy. The last memory I have of her was when she called my left side unbearable, before she poured boiling water over my eye.”
“That’s not a birthmark?!” Bakugou was in disbelief, his earlier amusement evaporating.
Midoriya took a deep breath, feeling a surge of empathy for Todoroki. “I’m really sorry you had to go through all of that. No one should have to face such… darkness.”
Todoroki met Midoriya’s gaze, a flicker of gratitude crossing his features. “Thank you,” he said quietly. “But that’s why I can’t let anyoneespecially my father—define my path. I’ll carve my own way.”
-
Bakugou's footsteps echoed down the corridor as he stormed away from the conversation, his mind racing. He needed to escape, to clear his head. He turned sharply and headed toward the nearest washroom, the weight of Todoroki's words heavy on his chest.
Once inside, he leaned over the sink, splashing cold water onto his face in a desperate attempt to shake off the unsettling thoughts. The water dripped down his chin as he looked up into the mirror, but instead of his own reflection, he saw a figure standing where he was.
Endeavor.
Bakugou's heart raced, and fury bubbled within him. “What the hell?” he growled, clenching his fists. The fiery hero’s stern expression bore down on him, and it felt like a curse lingering just out of reach.
“What if I turn out like him?” The thought surged through his mind like a raging wildfire. What if his anger consumed him? What if he ended up as cold and distant as Endeavor, sacrificing everything for a single goal?
Fueled by a sudden rush of adrenaline, Bakugou slammed his fist into the mirror, his Quirk exploding to life in a blaze of fury. The glass shattered instantly, scattering shards across the floor, each piece reflecting fragments of his tumultuous emotions. Pieces of glass embedded themselves in his hands
“Dammit!” he shouted, his voice echoing in the empty room. He couldn’t let that happen; he wouldn’t be another pawn in someone else's game. Bakugou took a deep breath, the adrenaline coursing through him as he tried to calm his racing heart.
“I’m not gonna let anyone decide my future,” he muttered to himself, glaring at the mess he’d made. “Not that bastard or anyone else.”
-
Midoriya sat at the cafeteria table with Mina, Uraraka, and Iida, his mind still spinning from the conversation with Todoroki. His friends chatted around him, but he felt disconnected, his thoughts lingering on Todoroki’s story and the weight it carried. Mina noticed his silence first, her brows furrowing with concern.
“Hey, Midori, you okay?” she asked, leaning forward slightly. “You’ve been kinda quiet since you came back.”
Uraraka nodded in agreement. “Yeah, did something happen with Todoroki, Deku?”
Iida, ever attentive, adjusted his glasses. “If something is troubling you, Midoriya, we’re here to listen. It’s important to address any—”
Midoriya quickly shook his head, offering a small, forced smile. “It’s... it’s nothing I can really explain, guys. It’s super personal, but not to me. It’s just... complicated.”
The three exchanged glances, sensing that pushing him further wouldn’t help, so they let it go. But Midoriya could still feel their concern, especially as Mina shot him another worried glance.
The conversation shifted as they began eating, the lively energy of the cafeteria filling the air again. But Iida, as ever, was focused on a different kind of topic. He turned to Midoriya, his usual seriousness tinged with a hint of frustration.
“Midoriya,” Iida began, “I must admit, I feel a sense of regret. I was hoping to demonstrate my improvements to you during the second round. I don’t just consider you my friend, but as my rival as well. Battling against you would have been a true test of our growth.”
Midoriya blinked, surprised by the comment. He looked up from his plate, meeting Iida’s earnest gaze. “Iida, you’re already amazing. I’ve seen how much you’ve improved.”
“That’s kind of you to say,” Iida responded, “but the truth is, I would relish the opportunity to compete against you. Not just in the festival, but in any situation where we can push each other to our limits.”
Midoriya smiled at that, his mood lifting slightly. The idea of healthy competition with Iida sounded like a good way to take his mind off everything. “Well, how about this: after the festival, we could have a race. After school?”
Iida’s eyes lit up at the suggestion. “A race, you say? That’s an excellent idea, Midoriya! I gladly accept your challenge! It will be a true test of speed, technique, and determination!”
Mina laughed, shaking her head. “You two and your hero-rival stuff, so cool.”
Uraraka grinned. “Yeah, but it’s nice to see you guys pushing each other. It’s inspiring!”
Midoriya felt warmth spread through him at the support of his friends. The tension from earlier still lingered in the back of his mind, but at least for now, he had something to look forward to.
"Ten million!" a loud voice suddenly rang through the cafeteria, cutting through the ambient noise and startling Midoriya and his friends. They turned to see a pink-haired girl with dreadlocks striding confidently over to their table. Her eyes gleamed with excitement, and she was practically vibrating with energy.
"You're the ten million guy, right? Midoriya Izuku, right? I've been looking all over for you!" she said, talking a mile a minute, her words almost blending together.
Midoriya blinked, taken aback. "Uh, yeah, I'm Midoriya—"
"I knew it!" she interrupted, leaning in, her eyes scanning him like she was analysing every detail. "I never forget a face! You probably don't remember me, but we met a long time ago. Back at the Spitfire agency!"
Midoriya's face turned a bright shade of red, and he started waving his hands frantically. "N-no! You must be thinking of someone else—"
But the girl wasn’t deterred. "Nope! I’m Hatsume Mei, and I’ve got a photographic memory when it comes to faces, especially ones I’ve helped design support gear for! My mom and I worked on some of the prototypes for Spitfire back in the day!"
Uraraka, Iida, and Mina exchanged confused glances. "Wait, Spitfire? The Heat-Seeking Hero? What’s going on, Deku?" Uraraka asked, tilting her head.
Midoriya sighed, realising he was cornered, and Hatsume wasn’t about to let this drop. He rubbed the back of his neck, suddenly feeling very exposed. "Uh, well, I guess I should explain. My parents... they're underground heroes, like Aizawa-sensei. They don't really go for the spotlight, so they’re not as well-known. Yes, my dad’s the Heat-Seeking Hero, Spitfire, and my mom is the Magnetic Hero, Verdant."
His friends stared at him, wide-eyed. Mina was the first to break the silence. "Wait, your parents are underground heroes?! Like, legit pros?! That’s awesome, dude!"
Uraraka’s eyes lit up. "Wow, Deku! No wonder you’re so good at strategizing! You’ve got hero blood running through your veins!"
Iida, while initially shocked, quickly nodded in admiration. "It makes perfect sense now! You’ve been surrounded by heroes your whole life, of course you'd have such a natural grasp of heroics. Truly, this is most inspiring!"
Midoriya blushed at their reactions, but Hatsume wasn’t done yet. "And wait, you’re also Nana Shimura’s grandson, right? The Tempest Hero? Now that is some serious lineage right there!"
The three friends froze, eyes even wider now. Nana Shimura wasn’t a household name like All Might, but she was highly respected among those in the hero world, especially underground. Her contributions had been significant, even if not well-publicised.
"You're... related to her too?" Mina gaped. "That's, like, hero royalty!"
Midoriya laughed nervously, his hands fidgeting. "It’s not really like that… they’re just doing their best like any other heroes. But yeah, I’m Shimura Nana’s grandson."
Uraraka practically bounced in her seat. "That's amazing, Deku! I mean, I had no idea!"
"I can’t believe you kept this under wraps for so long!" Mina added, still grinning from ear to ear.
Iida nodded sagely, impressed. "It’s clear you come from a family of great responsibility. No doubt their influence has shaped you into the hero you’re destined to be, Midoriya."
Hatsume leaned in again, her eyes sparkling with renewed excitement. "Well, I knew I was right about you! With a lineage like that, I’m gonna have to design some amazing support gear for you down the line! Your family’s got history with tech, so you’d better believe I’ll make something that’ll blow your mind!"
Midoriya shifted uncomfortably in his seat, scratching the back of his head as he tried to find the right words. His friends were staring at him with such wide-eyed excitement, but it was clear he had to explain why he kept such a significant part of his life hidden. He sighed, glancing down at the table for a moment before speaking.
"Well, the reason I never really mentioned any of this before is… because I was worried about putting my parents in jeopardy," Midoriya began, his voice quieter now. "You know, they're underground heroes, and they work in some pretty dangerous situations. They stay out of the spotlight for a reason."
Uraraka and Mina both leaned in slightly, listening intently, their excitement now tinged with concern.
"I mean, my dad’s Quirk is Fire Breath, and my mom’s Quirk is Attraction. They don’t have the flashy reputations like some of the top heroes, but they’ve made their own name in underground work," Midoriya continued. "That means there’s always a risk of someone figuring out who they are and coming after them."
Iida’s eyes widened with realisation, and he adjusted his glasses. "Ah, I see. By keeping your family background a secret, you were protecting them from potential threats. That’s quite a burden to carry, Midoriya. You’ve been putting your family’s safety first, which is admirable."
Midoriya nodded, glancing at the table again. "Yeah… even when Bakugou and I were friends growing up, I never told him. I didn’t want to risk anyone knowing, just in case."
Uraraka gave him a sympathetic smile. "That must’ve been hard, Deku. I mean, not being able to share something so important with even your closest friends."
"It was," Midoriya admitted. "But I figured it was better to keep them safe, you know? I didn’t want anything to happen to them because of me."
Mina gave him a playful nudge. "Well, you can’t keep secrets like that from us forever, you know! We're your friends, and we’ve got your back, no matter what."
Midoriya smiled at her words, feeling a bit of the weight lift off his shoulders. It felt good to finally open up, even if he still had to keep some things guarded for his family’s safety.
-
Across the cafeteria, Aizawa sat at his usual table, his expression as unreadable as ever. On the outside, he appeared calm, his eyes half-closed in the typical tired manner everyone had come to expect from him. But internally? He was panicking—seriously panicking. “I almost expelled a pro hero’s kid on the first day of school!”
His thoughts spiralled as he recalled that incident. He had been fully prepared to remove Midoriya from U.A. if the boy hadn’t stepped up. But now, knowing that Midoriya was not only related to two underground pros but also the grandson of Nana Shimura, one of the most respected yet low-profile heroes in the field—well, it made the entire situation feel even more precarious.
Spitfire and Verdant… he thought, the names echoing in his mind. Aizawa had worked with them a few times when he’d been called to the Mustafu Underground for a case. They were both incredibly competent and, thankfully, just as skilled at keeping their identities hidden as he was. He had no idea that their son was sitting in his classroom, much less the boy he’d put under the most scrutiny on the first day.
“Of all the students, it had to be him…”
Aizawa stared at his food, absently poking at it as his mind raced. The Spitfire agency was well-known in the underground circles, and he’d always respected their work. Now, knowing that their son was attending U.A., he felt a deep sense of responsibility.
“I can’t believe I almost expelled him…”
He subtly glanced across the cafeteria, watching Midoriya from a distance as the boy sat with his friends, chatting away with Mina, Uraraka, and Iida. Midoriya seemed unaware of the small storm brewing in his teacher’s mind. Aizawa had always prided himself on being a strict but fair educator, but this revelation? It had blindsided him.
“Well, at least Midoriya turned out to be resilient... but still…”
Aizawa’s internal monologue was suddenly interrupted by a thought that made his stomach twist.
“What if Spitfire finds out I nearly expelled his kid?”
He didn’t show it, but the idea sent a shiver down his spine. He’d rather not be on the wrong side of Spitfire’s temper—or Verdant’s, for that matter. Both of them were fierce in their own right.
I need to be more careful with this kid, Aizawa thought grimly, mentally preparing himself for any future awkward run-ins with Midoriya’s family. “Just my luck.”
-
At the other end of the cafeteria, Bakugou sat down heavily at a table with Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero, Jirou, and Momo. The usual chatter continued around him, but Bakugou’s focus was far from the lighthearted conversations. He grunted slightly as he flexed his bandaged arm, wincing from the pain that throbbed beneath the wraps.
Momo, who sat across from him, sighed deeply. "I didn’t get to show off much in the second round," she lamented, resting her chin on her hand. "I felt like I could’ve done so much more."
Jirou leaned back in her chair, nudging Momo lightly with her elbow. “You’ll get your chance this round. Besides, you were solid back there.”
Momo offered a small smile but still looked frustrated. “I guess you’re right. I just want to make sure I’m pulling my weight in the finals.”
Kirishima, who had been quietly watching Bakugou since he sat down, finally spoke up, pointing at his bandaged arm. "Yo, Bakugou, you alright, man? What happened to your arm?"
Bakugou scowled and crossed his arms, but it didn’t hide the tension in his expression. “Nothing. Just... smashed a mirror. It's no big deal,” he muttered, trying to play it off. His voice lacked the usual fiery confidence, though, which didn’t go unnoticed by his friends.
Kirishima raised an eyebrow. “Smashed a mirror? That doesn’t sound like ‘nothing.’”
Sero, sitting next to Kaminari, chuckled nervously. “He’s probably just fired up for the finals. Right, Bakugou?”
But Kirishima wasn’t buying it, and neither were the others. Bakugou’s outburst earlier wasn’t exactly normal, even for him. “You sure you’re good?” Kirishima asked again, his tone more serious this time. “We’re all here if you need to talk, bro.”
Bakugou clenched his teeth, his hands tightening into fists before he forced himself to relax. The concern from these ”extras” made him feel... something unfamiliar. He wasn’t used to people asking if he was alright, not like this. It pissed him off in a way, but also made him feel... different.
“Look,” he finally said, his voice lower. “I’m fine. Just... got some stuff in my head. Don't worry about it.” He glanced at Kirishima and then away quickly, his usual bravado slipping just for a moment. "I'll be ready for the next round. That’s all that matters."
Jirou exchanged a glance with Momo, while Kaminari scratched the back of his head, unsure what to say. Kirishima, though, grinned and gave Bakugou a thumbs-up. “Alright, man. If you say so. Just know we’ve got your back, yeah?”
Bakugou scoffed, though his usual explosive tone was absent. “Yeah, yeah. Whatever.”
But beneath his tough exterior, a small part of Bakugou appreciated that. Even if he wouldn’t admit it out loud.
Omake: Aizawa’s realisation spiral
Aizawa sat at his usual table in the corner of the cafeteria, quietly sipping his coffee. He prided himself on his ability to remain calm and unbothered no matter what happened around him. But at that moment, his mind was racing.
He had just overheard Midoriya’s bombshell of a confession — the kid was the son of not one, but two underground heroes, and the grandson of Nana Shimura. And what’s worse, Aizawa nearly expelled him on the first day of school.
“I could've expelled the kid of not just any Pro, but of Spitfire and Verdant.” He stared into his coffee cup, the usually soothing black liquid now only amplifying his internal turmoil. “What the hell was I thinking?!”
As his mind kept spiralling, Aizawa’s brain began piecing together other clues he’d somehow missed. “Wait... the muttering.” He rubbed his temples, mentally kicking himself again. “How did I not notice? Hisashi Midoriya has the exact same muttering habit. The way Midoriya mumbles under his breath during training sessions, it’s exactly like his father does when we worked together.”
He slumped further into his chair, trying to keep his face neutral as students passed by, unaware of the inner disaster taking place inside their homeroom teacher’s mind.
“The freckles, too.” Aizawa groaned internally. “Diamond-shaped. And that wild, curly hair…” He sighed, shaking his head. “How could I have missed it? It’s like looking at a mini-Hisashi in green.”
But it didn’t stop there.
“The dorky disposition.” Aizawa winced as he remembered. “Hisashi has always been a bit... overly enthusiastic. And Inko too, with her magnetism. How did I not spot the resemblance? I work with the kid every day! He even has that same puppy-dog look whenever he’s trying to figure something out.”
Aizawa finally dropped his head into his hands. “Hizashi is right, I'm a terrible teacher.” He let out a long sigh. “All those quirks and no quirk for noticing the obvious…”
He peered over at Midoriya, who was now laughing nervously with his friends. His green-haired student looked like he didn’t have a care in the world. Meanwhile, Aizawa was mentally screaming.

Y'know, I actually really like the bit in BNHA where Todoroki asks if Midoriya is All Might's kid. Partially because it is very funny (Todoroki dear you can't just ask people if they're the number one hero's bastard child), but also because it's a very logical conclusion for Todoroki especially to come to; it's not a wild conspiracy theory, it makes sense.
If Midoriya and All Might actually did a good job of pretending they'd never actually interacted before UA them having very similar quirks wouldn't necessarily be anything worth noting beyond "Oh, that's interesting" and even All Might taking special interest in Midoriya at that point wouldn't be all that strange ("this kid has a very similar quirk to me so I can give him more assistance than I can give to students with quirks very different from mine" is just a logical thought process for a teacher to have). I mean, no one thinks it's weird that Kirishima and Tetsutetsu have near-identical quirks beyond it being a hell of a coincidence. But Midoriya and All Might do a very bad job of pretending they don't know each other, and by extension do a very bad job of pretending they're not trying to hide the fact that they know each other, and that makes it suspicious. After all, quirks do pass through family lines, something Todoroki would be more aware of than anyone else in his class given his situation, and he has no information about how One For All works so the only options he knows about are coincidence and inheritance. "All Might and Midoriya are related and that's why they have the same quirk and why they're trying to hide that they know each other" is an explanation that makes sense. And since neither Iida nor Todoroki hides their pro hero relatives that's clearly not something required to succeed or make friends at UA (in fact when it comes up people generally seem to think having pro hero relatives is super cool). So, what could Midoriya be to All Might that would require them both to keep so quiet about it and would explain Midoriya appearing to have All Might's quirk? Well, a bastard child. I don't know Japan's opinion on bastards offhand, but I imagine siring bastards is not something the number one hero should be known for. It's a conclusion that fits the facts Todoroki has!
And of course given Todoroki's personal situation it makes even more sense that he'd come to the conclusion that Midoriya is All Might's kid. First, the quirk eugenics baby's mind would logically jump first to genetic inheritance when thinking about why the two of them have the same quirk and second, given his experiences growing up with Endeavor it makes sense that when Todoroki sees a pro hero paying particular attention to the training of one specific kid his first thought is "this is that kid's parent" (even though obviously All Might's training is nothing like Endeavor's idea of it). So if you actually think about the information Todoroki has and the perspective he's coming from, "Midoriya is All Might's bastard" is actually a perfectly reasonable conclusion for him to come to! He recognizes the connection, he just doesn't have all the information he needs to come to the right conclusion and instead turns to something that fits with his knowledge of how quirks work! The conspiracy theory jokes are a little funny at first but it's weird when people seem to take them seriously, because honestly Todoroki gets closest to the truth the fastest out of anyone who doesn't know how One For All works, and pretty much as close as it's possible to get without knowing that there are quirks that can be passed down to successors like that. It's actually really impressive!

What did Enji mean when he said he had to put on airs to keep that ugly heart of his from falling to pieces? Idk if it's just me or the translation, but I really struggled to understand what he meant exactly 😭
Well, I'm not Horikoshi but I can try to help here...
The scene you're talking about is this one...
Tumblr media
The exact quote is:
'Kojishite inakereba tamotenu teido no minikui kokoro wo’ 「誇示していなければ保てぬ程度の醜い心を」 “If you're not showing off/making a display (of strenght)/putting on airs you can’t keep/preserve/sustain your ugly/unsightly heart/mind/core whole”
Let's now put the sentence into its context.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The sentence is said in the contest of discussing of Enji's weakness.
I've theorised in another post that Enji's problem/weakness, which put him in stark contrast with All Might and Midoriya is that he doesn't have an instinct that spurred him to action when a Hero was needed.
Midoriya, weak and helpless, jumped in action when he saw Bakugo being captured by the sludge Villain and All Might basically said this was the sign he could become a Hero.
We know All Might too, despite being Quirkless, at the beginning went around trying to deal with Villains.
Enji instead is shown watching the scene when his father get killed as the text complains about him being indecisive.
'Omae no seirai no yowasa wo abaki dashi miru ni taenai guzu e to hikizuri oroshita’ 「おまえの生来の弱さを曝き出し見るに堪えない愚図へと引きずり下ろした」 “Your innate/natural weaknesses was exposed and I can’t bear to look at how you were dragged down into an indecisive person.”
So, I think the idea is that Enji view his heart ('kokoro' 心 which can also mean "mind/core") is ugly because he's undecisive (and therefore didn't jump into action showing he didn't have an inborn Hero spirit), he's envious of who has it, and feels inferior.
He basically had the same fear Kirishima had, only he never truly overcome it in a healthy positive way like instead Kirishima was able to make (see chap 144). Kirishima decides to live a life in which he will have no regrets. He accepts he felt fear, that he might feel fear again but works on continuing to act in such a way that won't make him feel regrets because feeling regrets is worse than dying.
Enji just rages against himself. He can't accept he didn't act, that he felt fear, he hides it to himself and the others and therefore, put on airs, and therefore never truly overcomes his own weakness and continue to be plagued by it.
There's to say Kirishima's indeciveness didn't lead anyone to die and he could apologize to the people he didn't help, never mentioning hearing Crimson Riot, his idol, speaking about how he too fails, how he too feels fear but overcame it, helped him to realize things, while Enji lost his father and the girl his father was trying to save died as well and might not have had anyone helping him to cope with such feelings so he might have never overcome that whole thing.
Enji reached his position through effort (Endeavor) not natural born talent/Hero instinct and tried to excuse his own weakness by saying it was a matter of physical strength, that who's strong wouldn't be indecisive, hence his pursuit of strength.
So why he has to show off/make a display/put on airs?
Psychologically speaking that's a mechanism many people who feel inferior use. By putting on a mask and acting as if they feel superior of others, they think they hide how they feel indeed inferior.
A confident person doesn't need to put on airs, they know they are strong, brave, whatever or, anyway, think they're right the way they are. They're okay with themselves.
But who feels inferior and hates it might not want others (and, in a way, himself) to realize and so he tries to hide it by acting as if they weren't.
So basically the sentence you're asking about, in my opinion means that he's putting on airs to hide from others the fact he doesn't perceive himself as strong and brave as All Might.
Of course I might be wrong, I'm not Horikoshi and my knowledge of Japanese is risible so take all this with a huge grain of salt.
Still I hope it'll help! Thank you for your ask!

AU Ask Game
1.) Fire Nation Airbender!Izuku. How does Izuku handle the finding out about the sheer depth of the lying propaganda he has been fed? Specifically, seeing warcrimes the Fire Nation commits firsthand (a la Zuko Alone). Especially if his father was a Fire Nation
2.) Aizuku AU. Is Shirakumo a Soul Reaper, and if so, how’s he handling things? Especially if he ends up around Aizawa and Hizashi.
3.) Homeroom Teacher Nighteye. If Izuku isn’t transferred out of Nighteye’s class and thus decides to join Shiggy, how does that ultimately go? Does anyone in 1-A join him? How does Bakugo react? Does All Might blame Nighteye?
4.) Midoriya Tenko. How does the media react to the revelation of who this universe’s Shigaraki is? Does Endeavor remain a hero, or is he forced to resign in scandal? And where’s Dabi during all of this?
I have to do them all because they're so good
Airbender Izuku AU
In this verse he grew up in the capital and even went to one of the Fire Nation schools, so he was deep in it; especially when it came to the history of the Air Nomad Genocide and that it was Sozin who had no choice but to take out the Air Nation's Armies. So when he discovers his bending and is forced to run away, he is devastated when he realizes just how wrong it was.
Because Izuku was revealed to be an airbender and ran away instead of facing justice for his "crimes" his parents were made to face the crimes in his stead. Hisashi was executed while Inko was sent to a work camp. Whether she survives to the end of the war or not depends, it's very likely that she will be rescued.
Out of everyone in his squad, Bakugou was the one taken completely off-guard. Here they thought Izuku was just a non-bender, destined to remain as a foot soldier while Bakugou would go on to become a general or even an admiral. Now he gets pulled into a team dedicated to hunting Izuku, until he eventually gets recruited by Azula herself when Izuku inevitably joins Team Avatar.
Aang is super excited when he meets Izuku. He talks about everything he can teach. Just because Aang is still, in his mind, twelve doesn't mean he won't use his actual age to declare seniority over his new student. This amuses Katara while Sokka is a little wary, because Izuku did grow up in the heart of the Fire Nation.
Things get extra awkward when Zuko joins the team.
Aizuku AU
Yes, Shirakumo is a Soul Reaper here. It's actually funny, he technically became a Soul Reaper far faster than an ordinary Plus as it only took him about a year after his death to become a Soul Reaper. It was his drive to protect those he cares about, the ones he bound his Chain of Fate to, that allowed him to become one when his chain inevitably broke.
Ironically, Shirakumo was actually brought into the Fifth Division of the Gotei 13, under Captain Hirako Shinji. He hopes to one day master Hollowification and become a Visored like his Captain.
For a few years he was actually handling things pretty well. Even got the chance to go down in secret to see how his old friends were doing, though he sometimes regrets dying the way he did with how Aizawa handled it. Sometimes he curses at his old (boy)friend for being unnecessarily harsh on his students.
Unfortunately whenever he's in the Living World, he feels a tug on his soul. This is how he found out what happened to his body, and he is not happy with this at all. Unfortunately, he is not allowed to attack those of the Living World, only Hollows.
However, he soon finds a loophole on what to do with All for One~
Homeroom Teacher Nighteye AU; Bad Ending Edition
It goes absolutely horribly, for all except Tomura and Izuku.
All Might definitely blames Nighteye, but he also blames himself. In this verse, he would have regretted not fighting to get Nighteye out of UA sooner. He regrets not communicating with his successor better, regrets not seeing the signs. In a twist of fate, All Might himself decides to leave UA completely to find his student and either bring him to a better school...or join him.
Bakugou physically attacked Nighteye. For most of his time he held himself back because he figured Izuku would have found a way to brush off Nighteye's words, or that someone would step in. He knew it wouldn't be appropriate if he himself stepped in, because of his complicated history with Izuku. He doesn't care if he gets expelled for punching out a teacher, the bastard had it coming.
Kirishima, Mina, Kaminari, Momo, and Tokoyami all follow Izuku. At that point, after seeing first-hand how horrible Nighteye could be, they lost all faith in UA and vowed to help Izuku in whatever way they can.
Just like in the planned ending for the actual fic, Nighteye gets fired and Tomura gets his hands on him. On the bright side- Tomura does not get the AfO Quirk because Izuku flat out says "Hey, this seems like a bad idea."
Midoriya Tenko
The media are appalled, to the point where they demand Endeavor resign. They don't care what everyone else says, this man drove his own child into villainy!
Dabi is in complete shock at that dramatic reveal. He did not know who Shigaraki really was, and now that he knows who it is...he actually does a fucking heel-face-turn and joins the Heroes because "Surely this means Dad will know his mistake and want me back!"
Endeavor stays a Hero, though he is on thin ice with the public. It's to the point where he only appears to take down villains and doesn't bother with interacting with anyone else. He even buys a small apartment for himself so people will quit going to his house to harass his family.
Tenko and Izuku both come to Endeavor's defense, hoping to remind the people of his actions as a Hero and how his personal life should not impact his work. Especially with all the lives he has saved, and all the ways he helped them both.
All for One is very pleased with how this reveal went down, even while stuck in Tartarus.

Analysis Izuku au
(a bit of a mess. I was trying to get everything down)
Au where Midoriya stays quirkless and goes into analysis instead. Nezu meets w his boss and it's decided that Izuku will analyze the hero classes. 1A is told what's going on, and after a display of their quirks and skills, Izuku goes over them. Everyone's in love w him and Bakugou's Bakugou
Standard "pants" shirt, red jacket & matching beanie (has a few pins)
Carries denim messenger bag covered in patches of heroes, some custom/homemade
Complexly coded notebooks for analysis
Each page has hero name, civilian name (sometimes coded, different from rest of page), space for detailed, colored drawing (diagram arrows pointing to important parts), spot for signature (Some heroes have a bright red 'DO NOT INTERACT' instead [Endeavor]) (each signature is done in a primary color for the pro [some done over sharpie for lighter colors]), sticky notes for extra info, all transferred to encrypted device later on
Always has snacks and water
Talks with each student one-on-one, asking about their quirk/fighting style/costum (Momo) while everyone else trains/spars so he can see them in action
Visibly changes when All Might arrived later (still had grudge) "Never meet your heroes"
Lots of info on any hero, even underground (possibly attained thru questionable methods)
Very friendly and happy

Tumblr media
I am not interested in targeting villains. As a villain myself and a writer who wants the story to keep the conflict running, I will not be one of those so-called isekaied villains who do good deeds and who are actually oblivious heroes.
My first move was to make Tomura loyal to me because he is an important villain and also because I am lazy and I don’t want to be always the one to torment the children. Strangely, upon seeing a magnificent owl being strolling into the secret lair with AFO’s helmet under their wing, he immediately assumed that I was the one who had killed his sensei. Not that it’s wrong but still... The assumption hurts.
In any case, I gave Tomura a corgi so he would stop hiding under his bed every time I was in the room. It turned out to be a horrible mistake as he immediately forgot AFO, pledged his loyalty to me, and became an incredibly competent villain, always willing to put on some more work. Horrible. I am lazy by nature. I do not have the energy to deal with young enthusiastic villains who aren’t afraid to work a ton to help their boss. So I grabbed Kurogiri, tried to break his brainwashing(since he could only answer to AFO) and instead, accidentally brought Shirakumo back to life. A new competent and enthusiastic villain (he likes the aesthetic) now pledged his loyalty to me and Tomura is even more loyal. I am very tired.
Since I got tired of people running from me when I am asking for directions or trying to do villainous speeches (which is a shame because I am GREAT at monologuing) so I shifted through several appearance. Japan things it’s being terrorized by five very stylist and vaguely owl-themed-villains but it’s just me.
I have been raiding UA and attacking the kids myself because the LOV is getting a little too good at their job and I want to keep the children alive for now. I warned them that I wouldn’t kill them until they were in their third years, to give them the time to progress but a couple mouthed off so I put them in full body cast.
I often drop cryptic hits about OFA to Izuku and giving him words of encouragement (because Aizawa is doing a very bad job with my boy and Izuku deserves to know he is doing great). This freaks out All Might so much that he made the Midoriyas move in with him. I am watching the slow burn Toshinko with popcorn and I have trapped them so far in two elevators, one boat, and a vault but no kiss so far.
The HSPC sent Hawks after me to kill him. I was busy at the time so I stuck him into a birdcage and forgot about him for three weeks. The good news is that Kurogiri and Tomura fed him chicken nuggets and soda through the bars. The bad news is that Hawks was so moved for being treated with so much human decency that he decided to join the League and to become a villain. I am having too many employees. Please, send help.
When I get bored, I kidnap a character, puts them in some ridiculous death trap, and the heroes either can try to rescue them (they all failed so far) or pay the ransom. I have vaults and vaults of All Might merch now (I even found a happy Izuku in one last week) but most of the time, I am being paid in humiliation. There are now twenty videos of Endeavor being absolutely humiliated on Youtube.
Also, Nedzu has been teaching me chess every week, which is pretty cool.
AU where the great deity Gentrychild gets yeeted into the canon BNHA-verse and single-handedly consumes AFO's soul, effortlessly saving Japan as her rat companions feast upon his flesh
1 - In true isekai fashion, I was hit by a truck and sent to the canon bnhaverse. Barid was driving it and was distracted by Moonpaw's shiny colors as the neon cat was walking down the street.
2 - I landed in the middle of Mustafu, immediately recognizing the canon BNHAverse and thinking that no one would bat an eye at my appearance since it's a post Dawn of Quirks world. I was very disappointed to see all of those people running away screaming from me. I guess that appearance-based-discrimination is still a thing.
3 - Despite what the prompt asks of me, I have no intention to derail the story. Izuku is in the middle of his beach training and yes, I took one thousand pictures (and several selfies) but apart from that, I didn't intervene in any way. I want All Might to have his Kamino moment. Instead, I keep stealing Nighteye's merch and watch him implode in fury, putting dirt all over Chisaski's stuff and ripping Destro Junior's remaining hair tuff by tuff.
4 - All was well until someone not only tried to cut the line to get raspberry ice cream but actually elbowed me to do so? Who does that? I politely informed him that I was here first and that he better get back to end of the line. The very rude man wearing what I first believed to be a Mandalorian helmet insulted my feathers then said that my quirk was fascinating and was about to put his hand on me! So I did what everyone would do in this situation! I ate his soul, messily and painfully. He begged a lot on his way out of life and into my stomach. But hey, at least, the line cleared out and I got my ice cream faster than expected to wash out the taste!
5 - Unfortunately, I eventually realized that I had just killed AFO, aka the main villain of the story. Shigaraki couldn't be expected to replace him, as he was still in his League of Legend phase. So I figured out that I could just kinda piece him back together and use him as a puppet so he could still play his role. After all, I have written so many AFOs, it should be child's play to keep in character and probably make him a more competent villain than what we've seen lately in the manga. Unfortunately... I didn't realize that wherever I go, the rats follow.
6 - I tried to tell them to stop by screaming that they didn't know where AFO had been but they only chew faster.
7 - Since AFO is dead and BNHA is now deprived of its villain, I have no choice but to take responsibility and to assume the role. I shall now become the new villain of the BNHA world. Wish them luck.
