Halloween Headcanons 2023: Vampire Lost Boys! Mick Mars Headcanons

A/N: This is a vampire Au but specifically in the Lost Boys universe. It won't mirror the movie's story but instead its dynamics, with the only exeption of Max who is a character from the movie.

-Mick is the oldest one in the band. After living in different cities, he decides to move to Santa Carla in the hopes of finding a decent band before he gets too old.

- A couple of months after moving he gets diagnosed with AS ( Ankylosing Spondylitis) which means his bones are fusing together, leaving him in extreme pain, especially in his back. He starts to work in a liquor store while still searching for a band.

- Years later, after playing with a band, he gets approached by Max in a parking lot. Mick is really wary until the other man explains his offer.

- “ You let me bite you and your disease will be way more manable. No more pain.”

-Mick accepts before he can back down, however things aren’t exactly as easy as Max described them. First of all he had no idea he had to kill someone to fully turn, then feeding is way harder than he imagined especially at first.

- Things get better when Nikki and Tommy find his guitarist ad in the paper. Mick doesn’t expose himself right away which leads to a couple of days where all three are walking on eggshells, focused on both making music and finding food.

- “Wow dude, those shades! What are you a vampire?” “Yeah, kinda.” “Sick! Me and Nikki are too!” “ I can’t believe it could have been so easy this whole time.”

- The vampire ability he is the most skilled in is turning himself into a bat. He can fly the furthest and the most precise, he was the quickest to learn and he will totally use this power to his advantage, for example to run away from anyone.

- Mick loves all the rumors about him being an alien or a supernatural creature. He knows most of the time people are just joking but he even dresses up as Dracula for Halloween, however unlike Nikki and Tommy he is not interested in creating an image for himself.

- Being the first one turned, he had time to study a bit and keeps doing it whenever the band has a break. He wants to be prepared in case anyone tries to take advantage of his weakness, since for a long time he had been sick and  felt helpless.

-the closest rita could get juno to allowing a pet in the office was a fish, and it died after two seconds because rita kept lovingly feeding it

-juno's favorite color is orange (there is no logic to this, except maybe it reminds him of Hyperion City's sunrise or the sands of Mars)

-juno was a skateboarder (this is exclusively so I can make jokes about Skater Boy by Avril Lavigne)

-Peter Nureyev is transmasc (this is like 90% going to happen in canon I'm sure of it) (delulu)

• at first Vince and Nikki would definitely try to sleep with you but you would turn them down every time so they would eventually give up

• Tommy would literally be your best friend. He would be super clingy and would cuddle up to you, would love it when you would stroke his hair

• i feel like Mick would be really cold towards your at the start but when you’d break through, surprisingly you two would get along the best

• Mick would be someone you’d have a lot of inside jokes with and could talk about anything together

• they would usually let you do and talk to any guy but as soon as they sensed the guy was a creep they would step in, especially Nikki and would send him away

• all of the guys would be super protective of you but especially Nikki and Vince even tho they knew you could take care of yourself

• Vince would definitely still flirt sometimes but not seriously just some flirtatious jokes here and there, it would be how you two would mostly communicate

• you, Tommy and Nikki would for sure become THE trio. You would do so much random shit, get drunk together and smash places down. Call it the terror triplets if you will

• on the stage you would get crazy with the boys. You would jam with Mick a lot and do your thing, leaning against each other while you both play your guitars

• you would also get crazy with Nikki on stage a lot, banging your head together to the music and running around the stage and Vince would sometimes join

• if you’d feel down they would all try their absolute best to make you feel better. Tommy would try making you pancakes but would probably burn everything down. That would result in boys yelling at him but it would fill your heart with warmth

• you would adore studio time. You’d all joke around but still get work done and usually after you’d all go out to eat and get drunk.

• whenever you’re all drunk you would usually have to take care of Nikki and Tommy and they would get all clingy. To say the least it wasn’t an easy job dragging two grown men along but you were the only one willing to do it. Sometimes Mick would tag along and help you but that was rarely. Vince was probably hanging out with some chick somewhere in the mean time

•if you were the drunkest one Vince and Mick would take care of you. Tommy and Nikki would try to get more alcohol into you because they would be so intoxicated themselves. It was crazy trying to drag you away from them at that point.

• they’d definitely get into fights at the bar if a guy would harass you

• sometimes at the end of the day you’d all chill in one of your rooms, probably get high and laugh all night long until you’d eventually get all sappy, telling each other how much you love each other

• let’s be real you’d definitely walk in on the boys at some point

• the tour bus would ALWAYS be a mess and you’d literally be the only one trying to keep it together. Tommy would sometimes feel bad and help you but that happened once a year at best

• i feel like Vince would love to ruffle your hair especially when he would see you get frustrated over it every time

• Tommy loved to drag you along everywhere he went, be it the record store or some random bar he thought looked cool

Anyways, imagine this. Tommy's sick, and in turn needing more attention than ever. Mick, being the parent of the group decides he's going to (attempt) to make some sort of soup to try and make him feel better. One small issue, Tommy's all up in his business while he's making it, not to mention the smell of food has attracted the attention of Vince and Nikki. So now he's in the kitchen grumbling about how he's "never going to cook for them again" and that "they're all bothering him".

And perchance when he gets the soup done and they all eat, the boys fall asleep on him, clinging to him and cuddling up to him in their sleepy food coma state.

this is absolute gold. from sick and (most likely) whiny tommy, who just has to have attention at every second. grumpy ass mick who went from doing a good deed to being two seconds away from giving up and letting all of them starve. down to nikki and vince who practically came out of nowhere and will now dedicate their time to getting in micks way. aughhhh and then they all eat the soup and fall into blissful little sleepy food coma naps while all cuddled up to mick who has no choice but to just let them cling onto him and sleep in peace. maybe he watches them sleep and smiles to himself. god this is so cute and fluffy!!! (fluff always helps me feel better after a particularly rough day) anon i’ll be totally honest, i’m so jealous of your writing skills. you always come up with such good prompts and ideas and hcs. either way, i needed this! thank you for always coming in and writing masterpieces in my askbox!!
