I wouldn't necessarily call it cheating, but Axl did hook up with several girls while he was with Erin over the years. The number might've been lower than 10,000 lol.

My opinion on this may be controversial, but it's how I view things, and I hope other people can grasp the point of view I'm trying to explain.

When you're a rockstar it is in your profession, though, it's not a requirement, to fuck groupies and party. A groupie's job is similar where they follow a band, or artist, around on tour and seek out a romantic/social connection. You have to think about it like a career because that's essentially what it is. It may be crossing the norms, compared to other jobs, and be considered taboo, but it's a profession, nonetheless. It's just not for everybody. Some rockstars stay faithful to their spouses and won't fuck groupies. But then there are those, like Bret Michaels and Axl Rose, who do fuck groupies.

Personally, I view it as a positive thing because it makes me think these rockstars are doing all these women a favor by sleeping with them. Not a lot of chicks can say they've been fucked by Axl Rose, but for the ones who got the chance to...they're considered LUCKY! Wouldn't you wanna be a groupie and fuck Axl, anon?? 👀

If my husband or boyfriend was a rockstar, I'd completely understand why tons of women would be throwing themselves at him. The difference between a groupie and a spouse is groupies are short-term while spouses are long-term.

Think about it: after your husband finishes touring he'll come back home to YOU, and nobody else. You are his rock, his biggest supporter, and you share, not only a physical connection, but an emotional connection - something groupies cannot accomplish. And that is far more important than ONLY having a physical connection.

If you cheat on your rockstar husband because of pure jealousy then that's a problem. Firstly, you are not in a profession where you have to "fuck your way to the top" in order to advance your career, like in some industries. I think Stephanie Seymour had to do this at the beginning of her modeling career until she established herself within the industry.

Speaking of Stephanie, she did not try to advance her career when she cheated on Axl with Warren Beatty, Charlie Sheen, or Peter Brant. She cheated on Axl because she lost her infatuation with him and used him as monetary gain. After Axl, she married Peter Brant since he has more money than Axl. Charlie was more of a cocaine fuck buddy for Stephanie. I go more into depth about that => here and Beatty had lots of money as well. Btw Beatty and Stephanie are 31 years apart...

She took what she wanted from these men and left them dry. But as a rockstar, you don't leave your women dry...you leave them soaking wet 😏

I understand it's normal to be human and to have feelings, including jealousy. But you also have to understand that it is part of your rockstar husband's profession to hook up with groupies, and if you don't like it then maybe having a rockstar hubby isn't for you 🤷🏻‍♀️

Remember, your rockstar hubby never uses a groupie for profit, however, for groupies, since they get paid for it, sure! That's a key aspect. Heck, you could join your husband on tour so he doesn't feel the urge to satisfy his needs with other women.

I know this may seem unfair. You're probably wondering, "Why do men get away with this stuff, but when a woman does it she gets burned at the stake?!" Like I said, it's part of a rockstar’s job. Women, not all the time, but most-likely, cheat on them because they're jealous. Rockstars don't.

Hopefully this wasn't too confusing lol. That's just my opinion on the matter. Others are free to agree or disagree with me, it's totally fine. I'm convinced I was a groupie in a past life, heh.

I hate my birthdays.

Always did.

Even as a child.

Now as this middle-aged queerish-dude I am still having a hard time, standing in the middle of things and being cheered on by others.

I was born. Great. Get along, people, nothing to see here. Can you all just go home please?

And rightly so, I must add.

Way more than 12 hours before - it is now past 10 pm in Germany - so this morning after I woke up to be exact, I had seriously contemplated the possibility to call in sick on my birthday, and hide myself from the world, quietly sobbing on my couch.

For the first time in my working life of 24 years. I had always been to work on my birthdays. No exception.

But the past months had been hard. I never really felt in control of things, still don't.

Those who know me closer, know that I like to be in control.

Always a plan at hand. Always prepared…

Only that it didn't really work out…hasn't for quite a long time.

I just never admitted it to myself. Always kept on going.

My family was always good in repressing things.

Don't show weakness.

Keep on functioning.

What will the others think?

People depend on you!

My family also never really considered me being "a success story" by their standards.

I am unmarried. Don't have children. No big career.

Ok, I've put enough on the side to live a financial solid life in a nice appartment.

But the first part really nagged at them, and through them at me.

So I was already unhappy for quite some time.

Together with an ongoing above-average and ever growing work-load at the office, this feeling of unhappiness turned slowly into dread and then deep sadness, until I felt close to breaking with the beginning of today.

Now, almost 15 hours later, I am here, writing this sappy stuff and am genuinely happy for the first time in months.

"What changed?"

Well, I was thinking about this a lot in the past hour. While sitting in the bus and later while walking home.

Honestly? Nothing really changed.

I got my eyes opened and my perspective adjusted by someone very dear to me.

That's what friends are for, and she is the best of them. My bestie.

She is the one who got me addicted to Good Omens last year and pushed me onto this hellsite.

She brought me Doctor Who and the Tardis (yeah, I know, shame on me, coming so late to the game…).

She makes me constantly re-think my opinions and keeps opening new windows to look through on things I had missed or never noticed before.

She is challenging me on a daily basis to be more than I normally would go for or did for many years.

She became the closest friend I have ever had in my life.

Sure, I know lots of people a lot longer in years. Some since Kindergarten.

But none of them digged themselves so deep into the darkest corners of my soul.

Places not even my brother or my parents ever got to see.

She made me, a life long rather shy introvert, open up, despite the fact that she is even more introverted than I have ever been.

I still don't fully understand all of it, but here I am, writing all this to an unknown audience, as proof.

A year ago, this wouldn't have been possible, not even in my wildest dreams.

"So, you didn't realize this before?"

I did. It just got pushed aside by all the negative spiralling. Sometimes you don't see, what's right in front of you.

After work, I walked her home. I like doing that. Sometimes talking all the way. Sometimes just walking in silence side by side.

At her place she handed me 2 presents and just like that, it clicked.

Sometimes, it doesn't take much, if it comes from the heart…

So, we basically bonded over Good Omens and as faith would have it, we are exactly Aziraphale (me) and Crowley (her) coded.

100%.

It makes me beyond happy, knowing that everytime I'll sip my coffee with my beloved Sheeny, on the other end of town she will sip her hot cocoa out of her corresponding new David Tennant mug.

Good Omens was not the only thing we found out to have in common.

The common ground sometimes is really breathtaking and we still regularly stumble over new things it contains.

So many things that we equally love. Books, movies, music, long walks, just sitting there in silence and taking in a beautiful view…

On the other hand, we are so different in so many aspects, but with the feeling of it rather complementing than dividing us.

She loves to chrochet, I can't even hammer a nail strait into a sponge.

Speaking of which, meet my 2nd gift: Audrey!!!!!!!!!

We watched "Little shop of Horrors" (the 1986 version with Rick Moranis) a few weeks ago. Both for the first time. Loved it.

I immediately fell for "Audrey", the flesh-eating alien plant. Didn't speak anything out loud, still it didn't go unnoticed…and, yes, it is hand-made!!!

Life can be cruel.

Life will be hard at times.

It will make you cry, like, a lot.

Try to not go through all this alone.

Sometimes those that you least expect it from, turn out to become your anchor in the stormy sea or the lighthouse showing you the way.

Build your own little family of friends (even if its just one).

Hold them tight, once you found them.

Love them with all that's in you.

You will get it back ten fold.

Treehouse Of Horror ideas

So I've noticed how several horror icons were never adapted into THOH. I've come up with ideas how to portray these horror icons.

Halloween. Maggie is Michael. Maggie kills Bart(all the while Bart says ¡Ay, caramba! as Maggie stabs him) Doctor Hibberts is Doctor Loomis and Lisa is Laurie.

Friday The 13th. Mona Simpson is Mrs Voorhees. Marge is Alice and in a Part 2, Homer is Jason

Psycho. Seymour is Norman Bates and Agnes is Mrs Bates

Scream. Millhouse and Martin are Ghostface and Lisa is Sidney. Millhouse's motivation is Lisa keeps rejecting him and Martin's motivation is he can now be the smartest kid in Springfield. Meanwhile Nelson is a more gruff and grizzled version of Randy and gets the girl in the end, much to Millhouse's misery

Phantasm. Reverend Lovejoy as The Tall Man

The Thing. Snake as Macready, aside from that I have no idea

The Purge, everyone in Springfield killing each other

Saw. The citizens of Springfield have found themselves victims of Sideshow Bob, having been kidnapped and placed in "Saw" like traps intended to challenge their will to survive. Unfortunate for their captor, no one in this town is really willing to try all that hard.

American Horror Story. The Simpsons find themselves confronting every American Horror Story cliche in the book as they move into their recently inherited home by the bayou in New Orleans, inhabited with witches, vampires, demon babies, pig faced murderers and all sorts of other monsters intended on maintaining their "Simpson-free" lifestyle. Other than that, I think adapting Murder House, Coven or Freak Show would work.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The Simpsons family's car runs down on a family trip and lands on Cletus' family farm. Cletus and his family are the Slaughter family Or alternatively. Homer is Leatherface, Moe is the Cook and Lenny is the Hitchhiker

Jennifer's Body. Jessica Lovejoy is Jennifer and Lisa is Needy.

American Psycho. Smithers is Patrick Bateman. Only, Smithers kill those whom he sees as a threat to his position as Mr Burns' favorite...oh and kills women cause he's a gay misogynist

Anyone with their own ideas on how to adapt unused horror characters are welcomed to share!
