He was so happy to see her and the rest of his family after 3 weeks apart at a CIA site and then she doesn't believe him when he says "I made a deal. They weren't going to just forget everything" like he didn't say more detail, probably b/c it would be dangerous too and she doesn't believe him!! Ngl I'm kind agreeing with people the more I watch that it doesn't make sense what with her being by his side for six years only to be angry at him now. What happened to the growth when Jesse said something about I don't think you get involved with someone like Michael Westen and expect normalcy or something. This scene always hurts so much

God if Bly hadn't exploded Michael would have been a key witness and nothing bad woulda happened. He could have retired from the CIA like he wanted and kept up Robin Hooding with Fi, Jesse, and Sam

If Bly hadnt died BN season 6 prob would have been it bc idk if they would have made another season where they're just a team of vigilantes and they're not under the thumb of the CIA. I mean I'm here for just client of the week episodes but I think viewership prob would have dropped maybe? So s6e18 would have just shown them happy in Miami if it had ended there. Plus Matt said he always wanted to have a big ending for the show and they really wanted Maddie to take responsibility for not being there for Michael when he was a kid but seriously man you had to have her sacrifice herself 😭

And I do like season 7 bc angst altho it's not as fun to watch for simple fun shenanigans as earlier seasons

Need to chew on this some!! Like Michael always makes big changes or has big experiences on water anyways (common film trope) but the fact he beats her not on earth ie land is so cool
