Lilly the Witch: The Dragon and the Magic Book (2009)

My rating: 3/10

Zugegeben, es ist schon eine Weile her, dass ich ein Hexe-Lilli-Buch gelesen habe, aber ich bin sicher, sie waren nicht so unfassbar generisch und doof wie dieser Film.

Admittedly it has been a while since I've read a Lilly the Witch book, but I am sure they weren't as generic and daft as this movie.

In my other post about LoL people asked what happened so here is a short explanation.

It is a show from Amazon Prime in which 6 comedians are together in one room for 6 hours. There aren't allowed to laugh or smile. The last one who doesn't do it wins and get a prize money.

Only the moderator or the guest are allowed to laugh.

The show involves lots of super funny sketches from the comedians, minor psycho terror and short comedy shows from guest stars.

In the German show they had people like one of the guys of Monthy Python.

9. which of your neighbouring countries would you like to visit most/know best?

Well, like every true European, I've been to almost all of them by now 😂 I know this concept is shocking to most Americans, but it's true. But I guess I would love to see more of France and Italy at some point.

18. do you speak with a dialect of your native language?

🤔 does this mean "when I speak English?" Cause if so, I would say not anymore. I used to and it sometimes happens when I haven't spoken English in a while, but overall, no, not anymore. The reason I know this is because I often have native English speakers comment on it, asking me which part of America I am from 😅

If the question is if I speak with a dialect IN my native language, then yes but only a little bit and hardly noticeable.

27. favourite national celebrity?

I... don't have any 😬😅 though I guess Daniel Brühl and Matthias Schweighöfer are pretty cool (both German actors who are internationally known by now). And in case comedians count as well: Michael Mittermeier 😂

LS  100. Das Neue Testament spricht zu uns nicht nur vom irdischen Jesus und seiner so konkreten und liebevollen Beziehung zur Welt. Es zeigt ihn auch als den Auferstandenen und Verherrlichten, der mit seiner allumfassenden Herrschaft in der gesamten Schöpfung gegenwärtig ist: „Gott wollte mit seiner ganzen Fülle in ihm wohnen, um durch ihn alles zu versöhnen. Die gleichen Blumen des Feldes und die Vögel, die er mit seinen menschlichen Augen voll Bewunderung betrachtete, sind jetzt erfüllt von seiner strahlenden Gegenwart.

Polar bear experts, however, have cautioned that such photos don’t constitute evidence of global warming-induced starvation.

“In August, this bear would have been only recently off the sea ice: since most bears are at their fattest at this time of year, something unusual had to have affected his ability to hunt or feed on the kills he made when other bears around him did not starve and die,” Zoologist Susan Crockford wrote on her blog.

“It could have been something as simple as being out-competed for food in the spring by older animals,” Crockford wrote. “But if sea ice loss due to man-made global warming had been the culprit, this bear would not have been the only one starving: the landscape would have been littered with carcasses.”

We also have to look at the big picture, rather than the picture that most emotionally resonates with us. Seeing a starving animal is sad, but that doesn’t mean that animal is representative of its species, even in the area it’s seen in.

While climate models predict Arctic sea ice coverage will continue to shrink, polar bear numbers have been stable or rising in many areas with reliable population counts.

Recent population estimates suggest Baffin Bay polar bear numbers are on the rise, in contrast to other estimates claiming the population is “likely declining” due to over-hunting. Local Inuits have long contested claims of polar bear decline on Baffin Island.

O Cerrado, segundo maior bioma do Brasil (depois da Amazônia), cobria originalmente 2.031.990 km2, constituindo a mais extensa região de savana da América do Sul.

O bioma compreende um mosaico de diferentes tipos de vegetação, determinados principalmente pelas condições do solo. A única formação florestal é o cerradão, uma floresta seca de cobertura fechada que alcança 7m de altura nos solos mais férteis.

O Cerrado stricto sensu é uma savana com uma camada herbácea bem desenvolvida, árvores pequenas, arbustos e palmeiras sem tronco. Outras formações são o campo sujo e o campo limpo. Matas de galeria não são formações típicas do Cerrado, mas são comuns na paisagem, abrangendo uma rede interconectada de habitats ao longo de rios de três das maiores bacias hidrográficas brasileiras.

São importantes para a manutenção da diversidade da fauna do Cerrado, constituindo refúgio e estrada de dispersão para um número significativo de plantas e animais originários da Floresta Amazônica e Mata Atlântica.
