Did you finish Rudi’s book? Thoughts? I watched a recent interview he did with Phoebe and he pretty much confirms that pic floating around of the band and the roadies playing scrabble was in fact taken in Garden Lodge lol
I read most of it (I admit I skimmed over some parts that weren't about Freddie lol). I liked it. I can't say that I encountered anything awful in it. I thought it was written with a lot of love and respect for Freddie, at no point did it suggest he and Barbara were lovers but instead it featured a few sweet Jimercury moments.
It's more a book about Rudi, really, of course. I think that's fair enough, too. I enjoyed reading it. For anyone curious to read anecdotes about Freddie that feel authentic, I'd recommend it.

Hi darling how are you??! Also do you know where I can watch that interview with Jim and Phoebe in 2006 I’ve been looking forever for the interview and I can’t bloody find it🙄😩
Hello there!
I'm doing okay, thanks!
Also, the only thing I seem to find is the German film/show directed by Utz Weber and Rudi Dolezal "Queen: Die Show" from 2006 which featured Jim Hutton and Peter Freestone.
youtube
It's in German, but around 23:40, Jim and Phoebe appear for their interview.
Let me know if that's the one!

Release: January 01, 1988
Lyrics:
Saw your face
An' you saw mine
An' then we got much higher
I can't deny
You came in time
To set the night on fire
Close your eyes
Close your eyes an' say
You're the one
Don't you feel the same
An' heaven can wait
'Cause you're my desire
Heaven can wait
You're turnin' up in time
So take up my heart
Livin' for this day of joy
It's never too late
An' heaven can wait
I saw your eyes
An' you saw mine
You can not be a liar
By day an' night
Say what you like
I'll keep my love
Much higher
Close your eyes
Close your eyes an' say
You're the one
Don't you feel the same
An' heaven can wait
'Cause you're my desire
Heaven can wait
You're turnin' up in time
Songwriter:
So take up my heart
Livin' for this day of joy
It's never too late
An' heaven can wait
Hubert Kemmler / Klaus Hirschburger / Markus Loehr / Michael Cretu
SongFacts:
"Heaven Can Wait" is a 1988 song by German singer Sandra, written by Michael Cretu, Hubert Kemmler (known as Hubert Kah), Markus Löhr and Klaus Hirschburger. It was arranged by Michael Cretu and Markus Löhr and produced by Cretu. The song was released in mid-1988 as the lead single from Sandra's third studio album Into a Secret Land. The single reached the top 10 in Austria and France, the top 20 in Germany and Switzerland and was one of Sandra's few singles to make the UK top 100. It was also a top 10 airplay hit in Austria. It was Sandra's fourth and final silver-certified single in France.
The music video was shot by DoRo (Rudi Dolezal and Hannes Rossacher) in Ibiza. The clip was released on Sandra's VHS video compilation 18 Greatest Hits in 1992 and on the DVD The Complete History in 2003.
In 1999, a remix of the song was released on Sandra's compilation My Favorites. The track was remixed again for their 2006 compilation Reflections.
