#RG @elnuevoherald Confusión, desinformación, miedo a hablar inglés, estancamiento en un trabajo por debajo de sus posibilidades.  Cuando llegó de #Nicaragua en el 2016, Georgina Mantilla vivió la misma experiencia de muchos inmigrantes que vienen dispuestos a comerse el mundo en Estados Unidos, pero se topan con un muro más alto que cualquier obstáculo que se construya en la frontera: el inglés. Mantilla fue niñera por varios años en #Miami porque no se atrevía a aspirar a otro empleo por temor a enfrentarse a una entrevista en inglés. Hoy es una de las graduadas del programa de #ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) del Miami Dade College, un programa de inglés que le transformó la vida. La experiencia en el college cambió la manera en cómo Mantilla se veía a sí misma, le brindó mayor confianza y un mejor empleo.  ✏ESOL es un programa práctico y accesible para los inmigrantes que llegan al país sin saber inglés.
