I'm gonna preface this by saying I know this isn't a problem unique to a specific ship or fandom.

If you are writing an essay on Tumblr about why X ship is not real and Y ship IS real, can you please tag it as "Anti-X"?

Oh wait! No, I know. You aren't personally ANTI that ship. But you see, Tumblr does this awful thing where they include posts in a keyword search if that keyword appears in the body of the text, even if it's untagged!

And I didn't want to wake up to an analytical essay about why IzuOcha "isn't real" from a Bakudeku fan, and how Horikoshi is "fixing the story" now.

I also don't want to block the Bakudeku tag bc I ship them too.

So please, just, if you're going to make a post that boils down to "that ship sucks and mine is better", think of your polyamorous multi-shipping homies and use the anti tag, so we can filter it out properly.

Why I think Kiribaku is cannon

The movie.

Tempted to end it there, but some of you might need it spelled out.

Kirishima bought Bakugou a suit with roses on it somehow knowing his measurements to wear to a party that Bakugou didn't want to go to.

Bakugou actually wears it??? Then agrees to go to this party, but 'somehow' they end up 80 floors above the party in the romantic garden. Again the party was on the 1st floor.

They also had Kirishima dramatically push Bakugou out the way of an attack so like?

What other explanation do with have for this blatantly out of character actions if Kirishima wasn't trying to shoot his shot and Bakugou was interested?

I don't think anything will convince me they aren't dating and being quite about it because Bakugou doesn't want to deal with the class freaking out.

It's Adrenaline Arc pt 5: "Engine Boy, I Love You!" and will update chapter by chapter just like my other series, Love-Coach Ochako.

Summary:

After spending all of their Sunday together, Iida and Hatsume's emotions are burning hotter than ever before. When Iida returns to the development studio again for costume adjustments, the two of them are flustered messes--barely even able to converse properly without feeling nervous. However, they manage to agree on meeting tomorrow to test Hatsume's invention, and rendezvous at the front gates of UA the following evening.

For once, the test goes without a hitch. Hatsume's support item works perfectly, and the two are euphoric when it does--perhaps a little too euphoric. They celebrate together, laughing and high-fiving as their excited hearts pound behind their chests.

Then before Iida has time to stop himself, his adrenaline gets the better of him.

I have to thank all my readers so much. I'm a bit sad that Iida and Hatsume's story is ending, but there are still plenty of chapters to write. It's a good kind of sad, and I'm really happy to have seen this project to its end. :)

OK, so in terms of My Hero Academia ships, my #1 ship is TodoDeku, and #2 for me is BakuMina. The weird thing is, some people have given me shit for shipping BakuMina as opposed to KiriMina, but nobody's given me shit for choosing TodoDeku over DekuChako. I wonder why that is.

My Opinions on Mha ships

1. Uraraka X Midoriya - Classic ship! But after season 6 they felt more and more like friends rather than lovers. Uraraka lost feelings for Midoriya. As much as I want them to be a thing. They are now just friends. Nothing else and nothing more.

2. Uraraka X Bakugo - I don't know why I love this ship, I think I just like the dynamic of the ship. One of my favourites. Though they barely have "romantic" interactions. This can still be seen as a cute platonic ship and I would agree

3. Uraraka X Toga - I have mixed feelings about the ship since Toga will actively try to kill Uraraka because she likes her. Though it was one of the ships that got me into mha shipping-

4. Midoriya X Bakugo - Bakugo has character development and became a better person. Stop pointing fingers when he was in middle school. Also at this point, I think at least Midoriya see Bakugo more than a friend

5. Midoriya X Todoroki - I can definitely see this since Midoriya is the one who helped Todoroki come out of his shell. This ship is one of the classic ships and I love it when it's written well.

6. Midoriya X Iida - No comment. I'm not really into Iida shipping at the moment, lol

7. Monoma X Shinso - Monoma is my favorite character and

okay especially in the earlier seasons, like at the usj and kamino, I can see it. But I think that Bakugo just, like, isn’t into him. I really love kirishima as a person but I honestly think that Bakugo is just. Into Izuku. and kiridhkma is into Bakugo. It’s not like bkg doesn’t like kirishima as a friend, I just don’t think he’s into him.

obviously people can believe whatever you want to believe, they aren’t real, and I don’t think kiribaku is a bad ship. this is just what I feel is most realistic to the characters.

these days you have to publish a dissertation and make a 100 page powerpoint with textual and subtextual evidence to back up the fact that you like seeing two characters together because apparently people can only ship what’s canon now

I WILL be paying damn good money to Commission an artist for fanart of a super cute, ultra rare pair ship that has one fan so far: me! Please help me make Todoroki Shoto x Fuwa Mawata a thing!

I dunno how it happened but during the process of writing the SGDK Canon Divergence Series I'm currently working on, somehow this ship idea just kinda... happened. Now I love them together! I'm even adding Mawata to the Dekusquad she's so freaking cute!!! I'm having a lot of fun tinkering with/expanding upon everyone's backstories in this series, hehe! 😊😊😊

I love their character designs too and think they'd look cute together looks wise. Plus, from what I've seen of Shoto's personality and the little we've been given of Mawata's, I can envision them really vibing and having a gentle, supportive, and truly loving relationship.

Also, if anyone wants to help me with ship name ideas I am all ears! Should I go with TodoFuwa or TodoMawa or something else?
