So why couldn’t you give him any? Test after test, after test, the singular line stared back at you, mocking you, for not being able to give your husband children.

Izuku took a test, just to see if it was him who couldn’t give you kids. It wasn’t him. That meant it was you.

Just to be sure, you secretly made an appointment with a doctor.

Praying that your womb was capable of giving life.

The results came back. It was your fault.

Izuku came home from teaching, and stilled. Was that sobbing? He tentatively opened the door to your shared room, finding you curled up and crying into a pillow. He shuffled over, thinking over ways to approach this.

“Are you..okay?” He asked softly, hoping that whatever was the problem it was solvable so his wonderful wife could smile again.

You sniffled, making his heart hurt as he saw the tears streaming down your face. He sat down in the edge of the bed, and you made your way over, putting your head in his lap.

“I…I made an appointment .. and, um, I’m…infertile.” As soon as you said that, you burst into a fresh burst of tears, as Izuku hugged you, his warm calloused hands rubbing your back.

“I..I know how much you want kids..b-but..I can’t give you any!” You sobbed into his neck, staining his shirt wet with tears.

Izuku faltered, you took a test?

Oh.

“It’s okay baby.” He murmured, trying to convey how it was okay. There were other options. Maybe they wouldn’t have your blood or his, but you could always adopt.

“It’s okay.”

Like if I was Izuku I would have INSTANTLY hit up All Might and Bakugo for another one of their little One for All meetings and be like:

Izuku: hi hey so I've been having some... issues with Aoyama lately *laughs nervously*

Bakugo: Aoyama? The sparkly weirdo?!

Izuku: He’s been... following me. Leaving me notes. Saying weird things. At first, I thought he was just being... well, Aoyama. But it’s been happening more and more, and some of the stuff he says... it’s unsettling. It’s... it’s starting to scare me, Kacchan.

Bakugo: Why the hell didn’t you tell me sooner, dumbass?!

Izuku: I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it! And I thought maybe I was overreacting. But... it’s been getting worse.

So then of course Bakugo is pressed asf and storms off to go confront Aoyama like:

Aoyama: Bakugo! To what do I owe this—

Bakugo: Cut the crap, Glitter Boy. I know what you’ve been doing to Deku.

Aoyama: I... I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Bakugo: Don’t play dumb with me! You’ve been following him, leaving him creepy-ass notes, and saying weird shit about how you’re ‘connected.’ He’s freaked out, and I’m here to tell you to back the hell off!

Aoyama: I didn’t mean to scare him. I just... I thought he might understand...

Bakugo: Understand what?! That you’re a damn stalker?! Newsflash: no one thinks that’s normal!

Aoyama: No, it’s not like that! I just... I feel bad for him, okay? Because we’re alike! I know what it’s like to struggle, to feel like you don’t belong. I thought maybe he’d understand me better than anyone else.

Bakugo: That’s the dumbest excuse I’ve ever heard. If you felt bad for him, you wouldn’t be making him uncomfortable. You’d be leaving him the HELL alone.

Aoyama: I didn’t realize... I just wanted to help.

Bakugo: Yeah, well, you’re not. So here’s what’s gonna happen: you’re gonna stop following him, stop leaving him notes, and stop being a creep. Got it? And if I catch you bothering him again. You'll wish you’d never met me.
