Metalocalypse OC week 2024, Day 6: Social Media Trend

We now look into the mind of a younger Makina and find out who her childhood cartoon crush was.

I went and did an animation off of this meme. Originally I was saving it for myself, but I thought it would be much more funnier and interesting if I did this animatic while exploring Makina’s character.

oomf said something similar not too long ago (literally earlier today) and ive been thinking about it but i am SO glad my ocs aren’t canon when it comes to fandoms like metalocalypse and smiling friends cause like ive seen the way female characters are treated in those fandoms lou is getting the same treatment charlies nameless gf with ONE line got people would call her a pick me for being shy and staying close to Allan and being around him a lot and maybe even villainize her for the plot in their critter yaoi. Same with Yami tbh I just know if she was in the show despite her and Knubbler being very close friends, bffs even in canon there would be so much fanart and fanfics of her “getting in the way” of DickFace and “stealing Knubblers man” thinking about stuff like that keeps me awake at night let me tell you

I don’t know how people haven’t thought of this yet but MyR x Metalocalypse.

Mc: William

Girl in the yellow cardigan: Toki

Petite girl: Nathan

Braided girl: Skwisgaar

Toki’s the girl in the cardigan because that more aligns with his backstory.

William is the MC because I feel he’s dealt with all of these problems alluding to the end of the song.

The reason I made Nathan the petite girl instead of Pickles is because this character has a good home life considering what talked her down and Nathan had that but Pickles not so much.

Skwisgaar is the girl with braided hair because it’s basically canon that William resents Skwisgaar for being everything he isn’t in his own eyes so the lines said resignated more when fitted to him.

I don’t know why I did this I just had an idea and needed to write it out and sent it into the digital ether in hopes that someone saw it and liked the idea too so I could feel like I wasn’t clinically insane for piecing these strings of consciousness together😅
