My own fanart pic of Percy Jackson as a merman! I, personally, love the idea of how Percy, as a son of Poseidon, would have the power to turn into a merman whenever he was in the water. Especially when in the ocean.

Not really fleshed out here is the gist of it:

Sally and Percy somehow stumble into a moon pool.

Sally turns into a mermaid whenever water touches her. Percy only transforms when he wants to (since he can control whether or not he’ll stay dry in water).

They get adopted by a pod of mermaids (and Sally can finally divorce Gabe).

Percy grows up knowing that Greek mythology is real but not that he is a demigod.

When he finally gets to camp, his mom and the rest of the family are able to visit via the lake.

A Blue Surprise Pt 1 - a Percy fanfic

Percy opened his eyes to the bright sunlight shining through the cabin windows. He rolled over in his bunk and stretched, but something didn’t feel right. It was as if his legs were stuck on something underneath the covers.

Peeling the blanket back, Percy was met with a strange surprise. He blinked a few times to make sure he was seeing it right. Where his legs should be, a scaly blue mass had taken their place.

Whatever this is, no. Not today. He placed the covers back over him, hoping it would go away.

To his dismay, denial did nothing to the situation. The scales were still there when Percy tried to get up a few minutes later. His attempt to stand was foiled by the fact that he no longer had two legs.

recently, many people rescued at sea have been telling the mysterious mermaid / sea spirit who became his savior, he was still called "Soter" from the ancient Greek "rescuer".

"Soter" is described as a handsome young man with inky curls developing on the water skin shining pale as pearls and bright eyes the color of the sea, he has a gentle soothing charming voice and soft hands.He is kind and affectionate, many saved by him later fall in love with him.

MerMay has ended but Merman/Siren Percy would never cease being awesome

Soooooo silly AU idea I had because fish are my special interest and Epithet Erased is my current hyperfixation.

Anyway Mermaid AU where Giovanni is an evil and cool mermaid who still runs his villain group and also became Molly's legal guardian. Because he's heard so many evil things humans do (to his standard of evil ofc) he's decided that to become a better villain he needs a human to join his boys!

Thankfully for him he sees a human who ended up falling into the ocean (Oliver) and decides THIS is his opportunity to get his new minion! So he and Molly save him and try to convince him to join the group... While he's groggy... And dehydrated from sea water... It doesn't work and the two have to leave because of THE FUZZ, THE POLICE, PERCY!!!

So Giovanni goes to get the cool appraiser/sea witch on the side (Ramsey) to make a deal and get Oliver to join the team!

Blud agrees, he thinks this is funny, and writes up a contract!

Now Giovanni has 10 days to voicelessly convince Oliver to join his awesome villain group while also trying to avoid setting Percy's "Evil doer" radar off, but also determine if Oliver is evil enough for his villain group. He'll return to being a mermaid and get his voice back once the sun sets.

Also eventually Zora gets her hands on Ramsey and Giovanni's contract and does her bounty hunter thing, she's tryna get 2 birds with one stone. Changes the day count to 3, and if he fails he is forced to be the next bounty off her list.

Oliver also is slowly falling in love with this idiot but both him and Percy are trying to remember where they've seen him before. (He's a petty thief and steals cargo from ships with his boys)
