I happen to be in LA for a few days, so I paid a quick visit to one of the most star-studded cemeteries, Westwood Village Memorial Park.
By the way, the sod over John Cassavetes' and Lady Rowlands' side-by-side graves was obviously different than the rest of the lawn, as if their plot had recently been opened and then re-covered. So I'm positive that Gena Rowlands is buried there next to her husband and her mother, even though there's no marker for her yet.

Rediscovering "The In Sound:" Eddie Harris and the Birth of a Jazz Standard
Introduction: In the annals of jazz history, certain albums stand out not only for their musical innovation but also for their lasting influence on the genre. One such album is “The In Sound” by tenor saxophonist Eddie Harris, recorded in 1965 and released in 1966 on the Atlantic label. This album, often celebrated as one of Harris’ most significant works, is not just a collection of tracks; it…

Gregory Porter and the BBC Concert Orchestra performing "The Christmas Song". _____________________ The Christmas Song Songwriters: Robert Wells and Mel Torme
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire Jack Frost nipping at your nose Yuletide carols being sung by a choir And folks dressed up like Eskimos
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe Help to make the season bright Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow Will find it hard to sleep tonight
They know that Santa's on his way He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh And every mother's child is gonna spy To see if reindeer really know how to fly
And so I'm offering this simple phrase To kids from one to 92 Although it's been said many times Many ways, Merry Christmas to you

In keeping with A Christmas Carol's blend of Christmas cheer with themes of death, I'll make this comment:
I still think it's a strange coincidence that the voice actor of this version of Scrooge...
...is buried next to this version of Scrooge.
They're literally buried side-by-side, separated just by a small hedge and two benches.
And the voice actor of this version of Scrooge is also buried in that same cemetery...
... as are Mel Tormé (composer of "The Christmas Song"), Sammy Cahn (composer of "Let It Snow!"), and Dean Martin (who recorded many Christmas songs and died on Christmas Day).
If you ever want to celebrate Christmas in a cemetery, Westwood Village Memorial Park would be a good choice.
