Day 25: Turtlesona (ft. My OCs)
Challenge by @tmaynt
Going from upper left corner there is my Isabella, my main mutant leopard gecko girl, the little lizard sister (or lil liz sis thanks to Mikey), to our main four turtle boys. Right hand corner there’s Velia, the mutant Fancy Rat from the same lab as Isa and even helped her escape from the laboratory. She never knew that Isa would ever get picked up by four turtle toddlers and another mutant rat.
Second row and on the left is Mei-Hui, essentially the Mei Pieh Chi/Venus de Milo of my AU. Idk how she got mutated yet but I do know she was raised by monks in the mountains who would teach her their ways and help her connect to her abilities over Chi/Ki energy.
Big Dino man here is Zephaniah, my Triceraton hybrid OC. He’s the son of Zanramon and supposedly the named “Regent” of the Triceratons. He eventually meets Isa during their adventures in Space in season 2 and learns to no longer avoid Zanramon and finally push back against him. Can’t say anymore because his story is still in development. I’ve been playing around with his design a lot. He’s got maybe two more color variations but overall that’s how he looks. Gotta keep dad’s dark red somewhere in there while having some features from Mother’s side.
Way down there is my very first Turtlesona. I know I’ve been a fan of the Turtles for years and I only recently began interacting with the community more (especially through this challenge), but I’ve never really considered a turtlesona until now. It wasn’t the first thought to come to mind.

Hayato Gokudera x Female!OC: White Day Chocolates
Summary: Gokudera can learn to endure anything given the right motivation.
Rating/Warnings: T (Post-Canon; high school!Gokudera; foul language; White Day; chocolates; dinner date request; Namimori Middle School; Namimori Middle Disciplinary Committee)
Relationships: Gokudera/F!OC; F!OC & F!OC; Hibari & F!OC; referenced Tsuna/Kyoko
Tag List: @imaginesfire
Notes: This is a very humble, very fluffy one shot written for my most long-time Internet friend, Selina. We've been buddies since something like 2006, and while our interests vary, we've both recently returned to our love of Reborn, and thus resurrected our old OCs. She draws sketches of my main OC, Daisuke Fukuda, regularly, so I wanted to return the favor and write her a quick one shot to celebrate her main OC, Lin-Mei.
Just a few quick notes to make here without going into lengthy descriptions of Lin-Mei's character:
1. There's is no actual love triangle involving her, Gokudera, and Hibari. Although there are some storylines we follow where she ends up with Hibari instead, in the Gokudera "route," if you will, he's just paranoid about Hibari because he doesn't like him, and Hibari is a smug asshole who won't go out of his way to assure Gokudera that he isn't interested in "stealing" Lin-Mei from him.
2. While Lin-Mei is slightly younger than the main cast, there's not a huge age gap here. My head canon is that Hibari is old enough to be in high school during the main plot of Reborn!, so it stands to reason that Lin-Mei stays a little longer after she takes over the Disciplinary Committee as well.
3. If it matters at all to you, Lin-Mei's flame attribute is lightning. She's more affiliated with the Cavallone than with the Vongola (having been under Dino's care for several years), but she actually belongs to a specific Chinese assassin family and works for hire.
White Day Chocolates
Hayato Gokudera never had enjoyed his walks to Namimori Middle School. What a shitty trek to what was inevitably wasted time learning from teachers that didn't know what they were doing—or have any idea the massive disservice their dumbass lectures did to the great man within their midst! And there were so many obstacles to get to that waste of time, too. If it wasn't Haru cropping up to annoy everyone, it was that stupid cow causing problems. If it wasn't that stupid cow causing problems, it was Yamamoto breathing in the Tenth's general direction. If it wasn't Yamamoto breathing in the Tenth's general direction, it was group after group of girls who couldn't seem to stop giggling whenever they caught sight of Hayato. And while the first three issues weren't cropping up that afternoon, the last aggravation seemed worse than ever before.
"What are they teaching these idiots these days?" he grumbled as the latest bunch all elbowed each other at his approach. When one dared to meet his eyes, he finally snapped, "Don't you have more important things to do?"
His anger only caused them to titter more. Gritting his teeth, Hayato stalked off on his way. Clearly, there was no getting through to girls like that. Even Haru hadn't learned her lesson yet, and now he and she shared the same homeroom!
Soon the tall, faded school building rose above him. Even more girls in navy sweaters walked past him as he neared the gate, but they didn't stop to giggle. These girls were in more of a rush, and the air of nervousness about them was almost palpable. None of them so much as glanced at Hayato when he came to stop to look up at the clock. The positions of its hands told him he'd made it right on time.
He hadn't been back to Namimori in a long time. Why would he bother? Hayato was in high school now. The responsibilities placed on the Vongola Family grew every day, thus the responsibilities placed on the Tenth's right-hand man grew every day as well. Only people with nothing better to do would bother coming to their middle school just to loiter around the place and reminisce about where they had met their friends, held so-called sumo tournaments, and nearly died countless times. But the one person he could think of like that didn't seem to be around right then.
"Hayato! This is a surprise."
A cheerful, girlish voice in his ear made him jump. He turned to level a glare at whoever dared to giggle at his shock—but the girl standing next to him didn't giggle. She simply hid a smile behind her sleeve before clapping both her hands behind her back.
"Sorry," said Lin-Mei. "I just didn't expect to see you here."
The minute Hayato spotted her, the urge to scream had left him. In fact, he couldn't find his voice at all. His stomach felt a little like it did whenever he spotted his sister sans mask, only more pleasant somehow—probably because he could actually appreciate the way Lin-Mei looked. She'd pulled her brown hair up into a sweeping ponytail, and her spotless uniform differed from the rest of the girls' solely by the vivid crimson band pinned to her upper arm. She had earned that armband, too, so Hayato felt more pleased than irritated to see it, despite his distaste for the person that had worn it before her.
Lin-Mei's smile faded a little as she cocked her head to one side. "Hayato?"
"Hey, jackass. She wants to know you're doing here. Besides trespassing, that is."
Much to his chagrin, Hayato started again. He hadn't bothered to pay attention to Lin-Mei's companion, a tall woman with bleached blonde hair and thin eyebrows that looked even older than he was. Probably he'd met this Disciplinary Committee member before; they were always trailing after their leader, after all. But he'd be damned if he went to the trouble of remembering her name now.
"If you don't have a good reason to be here, screw off," the woman went on.
"I—I have a good reason," Hayato managed to blurt out.
"Do you? Then why don't you cough it up?"
"Because it's none of your goddamn business!"
"Any business taking place on Namimori Middle School grounds is the business of the Disciplinary Committee."
"Arisa."
Lin-Mei didn't raise her voice. Hell, she didn't even change her tone. With a single word and a motion of her hand, she shut her second-in-command's mouth. Arisa sent Hayato a look of purest venom, but marched away in silence, He hoped she'd been sentenced to patrol one of the less pleasant corners of the schoolyard—perhaps Ryohei's old haunt. Chances were slim they'd gotten all the sweat stink out of there yet.
"Hayato."
This time, Lin-Mei grasped his wrist as she spoke. This time, he didn't jump. He just looked into her deep brown eyes—and felt vaguely, again, like he was going to throw up in some unimaginably satisfying way.
"What's the matter?" she asked as she released him. "Do you have a message for me from the Tenth?"
"Well —"
"You know we'll do whatever he needs, me and the girls."
"Right. But —"
"I don't have to tell them who the order comes from if that's what you're worried about. I'll be discrete."
"I didn't come on behalf of the Tenth!"
Why the hell did that take so much effort to spit out? Hayato wasn't a coward, and Lin-Mei absolutely was not his sister or anything like her. He ought to have been able to come in, say what he had to say, and move on. If Yamamoto asked him how things went later—and he certainly would just to spite Hayato—Hayato was not going to tell the Baseball Idiot that he'd chickened out.
"Okay," Lin-Mei said slowly. When he didn't launch at once into an explanation of why he'd come, then, she went on, "Then what gives? I will have to punish you for trespassing if you don't really have a good reason for being here."
Hibari would be pleased. Hayato knew she meant it when she said it, too. Before he could make an even bigger fool of himself then he already had, he screwed up his eyes and said:
"It's March 14th."
Of the whole host of reactions he had expected to result from this proclamation, last on the last was a blink and a curious, "What?"
"It's March 14th," he said again through gritted teeth. "Valentine’s Day was a month ago."
"And?"
The most infuriating thing about this conversation was that Lin-Mei wasn't attempting to raise his blood pressure. She obviously did not understand what Hayato was trying to say. And since he'd come this far, he didn't want to walk away now.
"And I came by...to bring you...some chocolates."
With this last ludicrous confession out of the way, he produced the box he'd been carrying around in his school bag. Lin-Mei's eyes went wide. She gazed at Hayato with open astonishment.
"But Hayato, I didn't give you any chocolates for Valentine's Day."
"I know!" He shoved some hair from his face, hardly noticing when Lin-Mei lifted the box lid to examine the chocolates inside. "I just walked in on the Tenth making some for Kyoko last night, and Reborn was there, and he kept going on and on about the importance of White Day, and how Hibari would understand it, and if the whole chocolate-giving thing worked for the Tenth, it would definitely work for Hibari, and...and...I don't know! I just panicked!"
Lin-Mei swallowed a mouthful of chocolate before stating, "Hibari hasn't given me any White Day chocolate."
"He-he hasn't?"
"No." She pulled the box from his grip and took a bite of another piece of chocolate. "But did you really think a package of store-bought candy would have put you over the top if he had?"
"As though I could cook anything without Bianchi getting into it when she found out who I was making it for," Hayato muttered. Lin-Mei stare made him squirm. How could she just stand there mowing through the chocolates without saying anything? Before she could polish the whole damn thing off and be on her way, he took a deep breath and barreled forward: "That's why there's a part two."
"Part two?"
"Ye-Yeah. I also wanted to know if you'd...if you'd come to dinner with me tonight."
Lin-Mei said nothing. He fixed his eyes on his shoes and did not look up. The minutes crawled passed with nothing to break them up except for her continued chewing. At last, he could take it no longer. He risked glancing upward to see her reaction. Was she gawking at him, shocked that someone like Hayato would do something like ask her out? Was she bright red with embarrassment because he'd confused her signals? No. She really was just steadily eating her way through the box, though she paused long enough to ask:
"Can we talk about the latest post on Mysterious Universe over dinner?"
He could hardly believe his luck, or the fact that her question made him grin fit to put Yamamoto's usual expression to shame. "Of course!"
"It's a date!" Lin-Mei shoved the remains of her gift back into his hands. "But we'll have to go later. I already promised Arisa that we'd go over some budgetary concerns after patrol this afternoon."
Well, that sucked some of the buoyancy out of his grin. But he didn't dare try to talk her out of her Disciplinary Committee duties. He knew from experience that would only end badly for him. "Am I allowed to wait here?" he asked. Facing Yamamoto or the Tenth after this would be a nightmare. Better to put that off as long as possible.
Maybe she understood that, because Lin-Mei appeared to consider his request for a moment. Then she said, "Only if you promise not to smoke on school grounds."
It was the same tone she'd used on Arisa earlier. And just as Arisa knew better than to argue, so did he. "Fine."
Her final smile caused the butterflies from earlier to surge back into his stomach. Hayato thought the sensation couldn't get worse until she leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. Before he could recover—hell, before he could even string two coherent thoughts together—Lin-Mei turned on her heel, looked at him over her shoulder, and fluttered her fingers in his direction.
"See you later, Hayato. Happy White Day!"
She was gone in a flash, leaving Hayato standing at the school gate and holding a half-empty box of chocolates, probably looking like the biggest moron in the world (and given his competition solely in the Vongola Family, that was saying something). A few straggling students leaving their approved after-school clubs laughed as they walked by him. He found he didn't care. As he settled against a wall to wait for Lin-Mei to return, he thought to himself that he would endure every agony of walking to Namimori every day, giggling girls and all, if it meant getting to see her smile...and to pull the rug out from underneath Hibari's feet.

Old Habits Die Hard
SUMMARY: Ash Lynx died one cold wintry day in New York City. Aslan Jade Callenreese-Lobo was adopted by a recently remarried Max and Jessica Lobo on a similar wintry day in New York City. One almost spring day, Aslan took his money, his new name and one plane ticket to JFK, never looking back. One cold wintry day, Eiji Okumura felt his heart shatter with one phone call. He stayed frozen and cold until one almost spring day.
WARNINGS: This is set post canon but still banana fish is heavy proceed with caution.
NOTES: This was for the banana fish secret valentine's day exchange.

Eiji shifted the bag of groceries to get a better grip. 'I always underestimate the trip home. I need to start working out more.' He resolved to start working out as soon as possible. He had been home for months now. The time to move on had come. He had been helping Ibe-san with his projects lately while trying to figure out what he was supposed to do safe on the other side of the world from where he wanted to be. 'Stop thinking useless things.'
"I'm home!" Eiji called out in Japanese, barely successful in bringing the groceries and taking his shoes off.
"Welcome back." A chorus of voices responded in Japanese.
Eiji began lecturing as he came through the doorway not lookimg up. "Mei, I hope you are being a good host. Did you offer tea and snacks to your friends?" He was pulling items out of the bag to put away, unaware of his mother joining him.
"Eiji. t isn't your sister who has friends over." She said. Eiji paused, brows furrowed.
"Is it Mahjong night? I thought that was yesterday." His mother shook her head. "Mom, I am not sure I understand. I haven't spoken to anyone but ibe-san since I came back. I certainly don't have company." Eiji brushed off his mother's unusually cryptic attitude.
"Ei-Chan, please. Stop for a moment." Mei grabbed him by the elbow, leading him to the living room, the table full of snacks and tea.
Eiji saw his fingers first of the mysterious stranger there to see Eiji. Fingers he saw too often wrapped around a gun. Eiji continued scanning upwards, heart pounding, breath quickening. He felt hope bloom like a live thing in his chest.
Broad chest.
Strong arms.
Sharp jaw.
Green eyes.
Blonde hair.
Eiji felt frozen in place, excitement and astonishment and confusion filling him.
"Aslan." An exhale. Shaky and weak.
Eiji." Ash's smile was as shaky and weak as Eiji's voice.
Eiji sat down heavily, eyes never leaving Ash's. "Ash. My Ash. You're here? In Japan. Alive."
"Yeah. I wasn't meaning to surprise you like this. Are you okay?" Ash couldn't bring himself to look at Eiji after all this time.
"Me? Am I okay? What about you? I wasn't the one stabbed." Eiji snapped, absentmindedly making a cup of tea.
"Yeah. I'm asking if you're okay. You were the one shot though. I haven't seen you in almost three months." Ash said.
"Ash. I'm fine. I missed you like crazy. For the first time in a long time, it feels like I can breathe again. I am beyond thrilled to see you again. I thought you died." Eiji couldn't help but be honest. His heart and soul were lighter than they had been in weeks.
"I can't even imagine how you felt. Eiji, if I thought you died..."Ash trailed off, a pained look on his face. The two of them remembering an interrupted Japanese lesson. "I couldn't tell you. You had just gotten home, you were safe. I wasn't going to put you in danger again, just because I was stabbed."
Eiji stopped shy of slamming his cup down. "You are important to me. You always will be. I know it was my letter that got you stabbed. Do not insult my intelligence. " Eiji's voice broke on a sob. He pressed his hands against his mouth to stifle any more noises. "I just want an explanation."
"Max, Jessica and I decided that since I survived, that it would be best if I died. A dead whistleblower tell no tales. We broke the news of Papa Dino and Banana Fish. I used the money to get my new name and take care of everyone back there. The second I could I hopped a plane to be here. With you." Ash finally looked up from where he was staring holes in the table. "Eiji, you mean more to me than you will ever know. I couldn't stomach being away from you any longer than I had to. I know I am couple months late, but I really want to take you up on your offer." Ash's smile reminded Eiji of a cup of tea on a cold day, warming you up from the inside out slow and soft.
"Absolutely. Ash, I'd never turn you away no matter what happens. I will be by your side. Forever." The two of them grew quiet, unsure of how to proceed.
"Ei-Chan, is your friend staying?" Eiji's mother broke the silence, her soft Japanese soothing.
"Yeah. He'll sleep on the spare futon in my room. He'll be here for a while, getting settled." Eiji responded. He got up gathering the dishes. "Mom, this is Aslan. We met in New York. He is a dear and close friend of mine. Please bear with us." Eiji told her. Her eyes crinkled a little with her smile, eyes twinkling. 'Eiji looks like her.'Ash thought.
"Thank you Okumura-san.:" Ash said in moderately accented Japanese. "I tried to learn a bit before I came." Ash said switching to English in response to their surprise.
"Look at you, well on your way to being a sloppy Japanese." Eiji teased.
"No, thank you. I'll leave that up to you, it comes naturally." Ash teased back. He grew somber. "Eiji-"
"Nope. Yoi are welcome here. We can tell her more later. Right now, I just want to enjoy the fact you are here with me. Finally." Eiji cut off Ash's attempt at apologizing.
"Completely sure. Now, let's get ready for bed." Eiji caught his sister's gaze and looked at the barely cleaned table. She nodded waving them off with a hand. Eiji grabbed Ash by the hand pulling him up. "Good night, both of you. We will see you in the morning. Aslan, did you bring luggage?" The two of them headed off to Eiji's room, voices fading, unaware of his sister and mother sharing fond looks.
Eiji and Ash entered his room, Eiji pulling out two thinner mattresses and some blankets. "Here we sleep on futons. I will set them up while you are in the bath." Eiji led the way to the bath, taking the time to explain all o the buttons and options that were labelled in Japanese. Ash repeated some of the lesson and confident he could manage Eiji left him alone. "I will be right across the hall if you need something." Eiji reached out like he was going to touch him but pulled back, leaving instead.
Ash sighed unsure as to why the lack of contact hurt him. Eiji never hesitated to touch him when in New York. 'Maybe, he doesn't want me here.' Ash shook his head, stripping down. 'No, you just came back from the dead to him. He needs time and space. Your being in love with him doesn't excuse that.' Ash lectured himself. 'I'm fine. I am safe here, welcome here with perfect Eiji.' Unbidden the image of Eiji's surprised face and warmth from his hands filled Ash's head. 'Yeah, we'll be just fine, me and my Eiji.'
A while later there was a knock on the door. Ash blinked out of his light doze, both awed he slept and accepting he may be more jet-lagged than he thought. "Aslan, I have some clothes for you. I unpacked your clothes and things. I have it all on in a drawer in my dresser and on my desk." Eiji called. Ash felt affection well up in his chest. 'Perfect Eiji strikes again, always taking care of me.'
"Come on in, I don't mind." Ash looked up when the door opened, Eiji had his eyes closed. Ash felt his heart ache, this simple idea of consent, Eiji not looking while he was in the tub made him melt. "You can open eyes Eiji."
"Thank you for telling me. I am trying to respect your privacy. Your autonomy." Eiji placed the neatly folded clothes on a counter.
"You have no idea what that means to me. You don't have to be so careful. The difference between them and you is intention." Ash tried to explain. "On accident or on purpose, it isn't the same. You are different, you always have been, always will."
"I want you to know that I will never take from you. You are more to me that a...a...a pretty face. To me." Eiji huffed a sigh, trying to quell his agitation. "I am not having a discussion on body autonomy and consent on you first night here. Come now, let's get you out and properly dry. You'll catch a cold." Eiji grabbed the large fluffy towel on the counter.
"Eiji, that is what I mean. You keep taking care of me. You won't take anything from me, I will give everything, anything to you." Ash wanted to get out of the bath. He wanted to touch Eiji, but he felt if he got out the conversation would end.
"I will never not ask." Eiji held out the towel, putting an end to the conversation. "Please. Let's discuss this later." Ash felt like if they didn't discuss it now, they never would. The two of them would be stuck in a limbo of not wanting to trigger the other. Ash stepped out, not wanting to fight the first night he was with Eiji after being dead for months.
Eiji looked away, holding the towel out. He left Ash to get dressed. When Ash entered their room, The beds were made and Eiji was dressed for bed. "Come. Sit down. I'll dry your hair." Ash handed over the towel, sitting down before Eiji. "You're staying here right? Until we get a place for us to get settled, My family won't mind having you stay."
"Us? I like the sound of that. Just like old times, without the ever-present threat of death." Ash threw a bright grin over his shoulder. 'He is different than the last time I saw him. Lighter. Happier. Livelier.' "As long as they are okay with it. Just say the word and I'm gone." Ash interrupted Eiji's thoughts.
"I said forever, didn't I?" Eiji asked.
"Yeah you did." Ash closed his eyes enjoying the sensation of Eiji drying his hair. 'I could get used to this.' Was the last thing Ash remembered.
The summer passed in a blur. Eiji was busy helping Ibe-san but occasionally brought Ash along. When he didn't Ash spent his days helping around the house while learning his Japanese. Eiji's mom was enamored with his manners and integrity. Eiji even introduced him to the therapist he saw upon returning from the states. They spent their days together, Eiji never pushing past the limits that Ash set, physically or verbally. They didn't try to have another discussion like his first night there again.
Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. When Ash was moderately fluent and mostly mentally sane, he brought up finding a place to stay. "Eiji! I don't want to impose on your family anymore. I really want to move out." He was sitting in front of Eiji, reveling in the feeling of Eiji drying his hair. The quiet domesticity of the moment not lost on Ash.
"If that is what you want. I think you are fine and would be able to handle it on your own." Eiji's tone of nonchalance rubbed Ash the wrong way. 'Come on, Eiji. Show a little more than that.'
"Dummy. What I want is for you come with me. You were the one who promised me forever. Why are you surprised when I take you up on your offer? How are you this dense? Eiji, I followed you halfway across the world."
"If that is what you want. I would love to move in with you. Do you have preferences or a... what is that list called?" Eiji pulled out a notepad, making Ash smile.
"A wish list, Eiji. All I want is for it to be a house with a yard. Not in the city. And a large kitchen and an extra room for an office or library. I want what you want." Ash stared Eiji down for a bit, silently daring him to say something. Eiji flushed a light pink at the extended eye contact.
The conversation Ash and Eiji had with Eiji's mother and sister was easy. Eiji had stressed over it for days, mumbling under his breath constantly about how he is to convince his mother he was safe with the man who kept in New York for so long. But like most people, he underestimated the great Ash Lynx.
"Okumura-san, I cannot thank you enough for taking care of me for all this time. I will always see you as a mother figure in my life. That being said, I am ready to move forward, and I want to do that with Eiji by my side." Ash bowed his head.
Eiji's mother and sister sat on the other side of the table, their after-dinner tea growing cold. "Aslan-chan, you never have to thank me for that. I did what any mother should have. I am glad even with all the time you kept him, you make him happy, and he makes you happy. If you need anything, either of you please, let us know. We are your family. I wish you both all the health, happiness and safety you can receive."
"Does that mean I can call you onii-chan now?" Mei laughed. Eiji spluttered and blushed. Ash just grinned a little manically.
"Maybe one day you can for real." Ash whispered in her ear, face softening at her giggles. Then the words registered at she snapped her head towards him, eyebrow raised.
"wait, you really like my brother?" She whispered back.
"Mei, your brother is more important to me than anyone in the world. I have not had great experiences with love or people, but I am pretty sure I am in love with your brother." Ash whispered. Mei squealed quietly.
"What are you two being all secretive about over there?" Eiji's eyes narrowed suspiciously.
"Nothing!" They chimed simultaneously, Ash with a poker face and Mei with a smug smile.
"I don't believe you." Eiji shook his head. "Thank you, mom. We already got a place picked out. We should be moving in a week or so."
She pulled him into a hug. "You are my son. I will support you no matter what. I am just glad you finally found someone. You were so lost for so long and if this man helped you find your way, then who am I to deny you that. You have always been a worrier, especially to those who you love."
"I-mom-Ash and I-I'm not in love with Aslan. He is too good for someone like me. He will do great things. I am just meant to stand by his side. He is so brilliant and bright and wonderful and strong. Once he finds a place to stand on his own, he won't need me there anymore. So, I refuse to take more than I can handle, take more than he is willing to give." Eiji waved a hand frantically by his face.
"Son, no one is willing to fly halfway across the world for just anyone. That man loves you. He is making his own way and taking you with him. Don't shut him down before he even tries to reach out." Eiji's mom brushed his bangs out of his eyes, planting a soft kiss on his forehead. "Just be you. Wonderful, perfect you. You will find out what I mean, one day."
"Okay, enough mushy stuffs. Let's get to business." Eiji's mother grew stern. The two men grew nervous. "Have you done any shopping for this new place?" She looked at both their faces frozen in horror and shame. "Obviously not. Well, you said you had the place picked out."
"Yeah. We get the keys tomorrow." Ash said proudly.
"Okay, then I get to pull the mom card and help you shop. We will need to get you guys some dishes and food and basics and furniture." Eiji's mother looked almost overly excited about the whole thing. "I cannot believe we have a week to get this done."
"That would be my fault. I wasn't sure how well you would take the news, and every time Aslan wanted to tell you I froze." Eiji said. His mom just ruffled hir hair.
The week passed quickly. Eiji's mom was diligent in preparing her two sons' for their future without her. She helped them pick out everything from towels to dishes to the western style beds they wanted (twin sized in the same room with a shared dresser and closet just like here and New York). Ash paid for everything, sparing no expense, and ensuring they had everything they would need for the house. Aslan had a room for his office and Eiji had a studio. The yard was decent sized, with a nice patio. They even had a guest room at Eiji's request. The next few weeks were a mess of boxes, packing tape, moving, organizing, not-quite-arguing, organizing, moving. Settling in took time, but they figured it out.
"Aslan, if you are going to the library today again, leave out your laundry. I'll do it when I get back from class." Eiji said as he finished the final touches on breakfast.
"Sure. You know I can do it too?" Ash no longer had an entire government plot or mafia to demolish, he had more time to help Eiji maintain their home. 'He fell back into old habits.'
"No, I like doing it. You have enough to worry about, trying to increase your fluency and getting settled. You should just do things you like to do." Eiji said.
"You have class and work with Ibe-san and do all the chores. I just do some writing under a pseudonym. I can help out more." Ash tried to push again.
"Aslan, everything is fine. I go a handle on this. Enjoy your freedom. You worked hard to get it." Eiji kept his eyes down, a sign he was hiding something from Ash. 'Don't you get it? If you don't need me to help with this much, then I have no purpose here.' Eiji felt his eyes welling, h took a few shaky breaths trying to calm down.
"Don't hide from me please. I want you to be happy here. This is our home. I share it with you. I can't help you-" Ash was cut off. Eiji slammed his hands on the counter.
"I am happy here. Has anything I said or done; made you think otherwise?" Eiji demanded. Ash's eyes widened. 'No. Please say no. I can be better. I can do better.' Eiji felt the panic well in his chest.
"No! Eiji, what?" Ash could barely talk, words caught in his throat, the feeling of Eiji slipping through his fingers winding him. "Eiji, please. Talk to me."
"It nothing. I go to class." Eiji quickly put breakfast on the table. Ash grew even more worried, Eiji's English hadn't been this broken since New York. "Text me later, yes?" He left without hearing Ash's answer. 'Oh no. You are not getting away that easily.' Ash resolved to make Eiji talk to him when he got home. Until then, the plan was to eat and clean and research.
Ash used the time Eiji was gone to do the chores that needed done. Eiji had been trying to keep up with keeping the house clean, but they were still trying to get settled. On top of Eiji trying to balance the house, a part-time job and part-time classes, there wasn't much time. They talked often about what needed done, so Ash did them, doing a bit of shopping nearby to finally finish the house. He sent a picture of the last of the boxes and trash sorted and broken down to Eiji. 'We are officially moved in. I did the last few things that we had been talking about today.' Ash waited a few minutes for a response but there was none. He tried to not feel hurt from being ignored, not wanting to make this issue about him when Eiji was clearly suffering or harping on something.
Next, Ash looked up way to help Eiji relax. He got some ideas, getting the preparations done to be ready when Eiji came home. Hours later, Eiji's familiar voice called out in Japanese "I'm back." Ash practically sprinted towards the front door, shifting impatiently from foot to foot as he removed his shoes. The second he stepped out of the entryway; Ash swept him into a tight hug. They didn't partake often in physical contact, Eiji out of respect for Ash's consent and Ash tried but didn't want to make Eiji uncomfortable.
"You came home. Welcome back." Ash squeezed. "I am so happy. Now, come on. I made dinner, but I also have a bath ready. or a movie and snacks ready to go."
"What?" Eiji's voice was muffled by Ash's shoulder. "You're not going to kick me out?"
Ash froze completely, his heart stopping. "Eiji Okumura. What do you mean kick you out?" Ash's voice was cold and deadly. Eiji was reminded of the gang leader days.
"Nothing. I was being stupid. Forget it." Eiji tried to pull away. Ash let him, missing his warmth already.
Ash thought back to the old dance they had been doing since he got here. Eiji seemed to be holding back for months, going along with what he perceived as what Ash wanted. Ash didn't push, trying to respect boundaries he only vaguely understood.
"We need to talk. It isn't nothing. Eiji, you've lost weight and haven't been sleeping. I want to help you!" Ash trailed after him.
"You don't have to help me. I don't need help! I'm fine." Eiji paced the living room.
"Eiji, we need to talk. There is something bothering you and I am right here. You aren't alone." Ash wasn't sure how to comfort Eiji, always have been the one being comforted. He looked at the couch and the large blanket he had bought. He remembered how warm Eiji was. He snatched his hand, leading the Eiji to the couch.
"This is not a big deal. I will be fine." Eiji seemed to grow smaller the more Ash pushed.
"You said 'I will be fine.' that time." Ash settled down, Eiji settling between his legs, reclining on his chest without coaxing.
"Aslan, I invited you to Japan to be safe and happy. I didn't invite you here to be with me." Eiji said. Ash was surprised he was actually talking. "If I was by your side or not, I knew Japan was the best place for you. Even when I thought you were dead, I thought I should have pushed the issue more but hindsight and all that. Then you were alive. I didn't want to be a reminder of what you had survived. If I was just a stop on your way to true happiness, then so be it." Eiji took a breath. "Then you decided to move out. I never thought I would actually have to face the idea of you moving on without me. But you wanted me to come along. I was so happy; I could have cried."
"Eiji, you are the reason, I am here. Don't sell yourself short. How am I to survive without you?" Ash asked. He ran his finger through Eiji's hair.
"I didn't want to lose you after all this time. So, I decided if nothing else, if you couldn't-" Eiji cut himself off. "If nothing else, I would be useful to you. You wouldn't have anything to worry about. You paid for everything, the least I could do was work to pay some bills and the housework. I have never been much help for you. I wanted to take care of you like you take care of me." Eiji's shoulders shook as his breath hitched. "I wasn't able to do that. You've been worrying over me this whole time. Then you-you finished the house...I figured that meant you wanted me to leave. " Eiji's voice broke, Ash felt his heart break.
"Darling. My darling Eiji. No. I never want you to leave. I did that today to show you that you can depend on me. We are a team. Forever remember. Eiji, I love you. I love you so intensely it scares me. I want you to lean on me, like I lean on you." Ash confessed. Eiji's sobs got harsher. Ash just kept hugging and caressing, murmuring sweet nothings until he calmed down.
"Ash, my sweet Ash. My sweetheart. I said forever and I meant it. I love you too. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'll do better, I'll be better. You are so brilliant and smart and strong; I want to be able to stand by your side. " Eiji promised.
"Eiji. There is nothing to be sorry for. I love you. You, the one who showed me there was more to be then a child who was abused in terrible ways. I don't want to be better. I want you to be you. I want you to talk to me. Promise me that you won't hide from me again. I love you too much to see you suffer like this again." Ash soothed.
"I'll try to do better." Eiji tipped his face up, a small smile.
"Old habits die hard they say. You have always had a habit of putting others before yourself." Ash said. "Now, how about you take a bath, and we can have a quiet movie night. We can talk about this more in the morning. We can even have a chore chart and a budget sheet, so you feel like you are contributing more. I don't want this to happen again. I am worried for your health." Ash murmured in Eiji's hair.
:"A bath sounds wonderful. I need to wash my face anyway. You want to reheat dinner?" Eiji wiggled his arms around Ash squeezing him tight. "I do love you. I have been in love with you since the beginning. I am glad we made it this far." Eiji tried to stand up but was pulled down again. He looked up as Ash looked down.
"I would like to kiss you now, please." Ash waited for Eiji's shy nod before pressing their mouths together. It was a sweet soft kiss, syrupy slow and gentle. They pulled away, Eiji blushing and Ash grinning. "I love you too. Now, get your bath my darling, I'll reheat dinner."
"Yes, sweetheart, I'll be back in a bit." Eiji got up, Ash let him. After a moment, Ash got up and headed into the kitchen, soul thrumming pleasantly at the memory of their kiss.
'Yeah, I could get used to this' Ash thought while puttering around.
'Yeah, I could get used to this.'Eiji thought while getting out of the shower.
'We have forever, after all.'

seventeen reaction | their child being rebellious 【dance unit】 『 child vers 』
(Chan and 8's are longer than I originally intended them to be, especially Chan's I got carried away on his..♡)
→ wen junhui; (Yanghao)
Jun has been taking your 13-year-old son to his dance practices, when he came to pick him up, it took him a bit longer than usual. He saw Yanghao with a group of guys, and he was a bit skeptic about them, so he asked, “What were you doing?” “Nothing, I was just talking with my friends, is that such a bad thing to do,” he told Jun. It was about two days later that he caught Yanghao outside the studio with a lit cigarette in his hand that he had been smoking, he went over to his son and told him off. “So help me if I ever catch you doing this shit again! Don't let me see doing this ever again, you go it!?”
→ kwon soonyoung; (Ilhoon)
You and Soonyoung are currently expecting another child, but this time it's a girl. You have a 17-year-old son, Ilhoon, who always followed your rules up until you guys told him you were pregnant 5 months ago. He was fine with it at first, but then something hit him one day and he started sneaking out late at night, you've both caught him drinking, doing drugs, and just last week Soonyoung caught him having sex with his girlfriend. “Hey, Ilhoon-i, son, next time tell us if you're feeling neglected, you don't have to do all of this just to get out attention,” you told him giving him a hug afterward.
→ xu minghao; (Xinghao & Meihao)
You two have kids, Xinghao, a boy being the oldest and Meihao, a girl the youngest, who has just recently turned 16 and 13, they've always behaved when others were around and never back talked to their elders. When Minghao had left with Seventeen for their tour, Mei always handled it a bit different then Xing did. Xinghao was always the one who had comforted her when their father left them, but now she's got a boyfriend 17-year-old, one of her brothers' friends, who is changing her. She came home with him one night, without telling any of you guys, that's when Minghao came back home, he checked up on his daughter, who he caught having sex with her older boyfriend, he didn't say anything until the next morning. “Hey, Mei, sweety. Hey, next time tell your mother when your gonna have company over because neither one of us appreciates walking on you two, doing anything inappropriate with you 17-year-old boyfriend, okay? He paused for a bit waiting for an answer, but there was no response, “DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!?” He yelled at her in a very stern/thughao voice.
→ lee chan; [dino] (twins: Jisu & Jihei)
You and Chan had been out all night and had left your 15-year-old twin daughters (Jisu popular girl cheer captain, and Jihei outcast basketball star, A+ student) home alone, they said that they were both going to either study for their next test, or be reading for their book report, which was that only one of them was doing up until Jisu walked in their shared room with a guy, Chanyeol, Jihei's crush since first grade. She then stopped everything as her sister dragged her downstairs, making her go party with everyone, while she was drinking with some of the kids there. When both you and Chan came home to that image, when Jisu came downstairs with Jimin, her tutor seeing the look on your parents face she too you guys a lie which was, “Listen, eomma, appa, I've been telling her to keep it down for an hour, but she wouldn't listen.” “Really Jisu? You told her to because I'm pretty sure that it's the other way around, Jihei, go back upstairs, JISU GO TO YOUR ROOM, AND EVERYONE ELSE GET OUT OF MY GODDAMN HOUSE NOW!” You yelled/sternly told everyone there.

This entire arc is complete and utter garbage.
Which is a shame, because I really liked Burai’s character and to see him go through all these hardships because of the Gods action’s is really sad.
I’ve already listed my many problems with this arc, as it shows the Guardian Beasts as villains rather than heroes who set this whole thing up just to get Burai killed.
To be honest, I’d rather have the entire arc go something like this:
Everything from the first episode and half of the second episode of the arc is the same, Bandora destroys the room and Burai sees the kid, Kouta, in his dream.
In the second episode, however, Burai, having four hours left, goes searching for Kouta, only to find out he’s a seriously ill child. Kouta and Burai talk, Kouta talking about how much he loves the Zyurangers, especially Dragon Caesar. Burai reveals himself as the Dragon Ranger and asks Kouta if he wants to see Dragon Caesar, Kouta agreeing and the two ride on Dragon Caesar.
Meanwhile, the Zyurangers manage to find a way to the location of the elixir, but a giant Dora Gansaku starts attacking disguised as Daizyuzin. Geki, Dan, and Goushi stay to fight while Mei and Boi pray to the Guardian Beasts to guide them to the elixir, Pteranodon allowing the two to get in and led them there.
With Dora Gansaku attacking, Burai, Kouta and Dragon Caesar arrive to help Geki, Goushi, and Dan fight back against Dora Gansaku. Burai tells Kouta to hide as Gouryuzin and Tyrannosaurus fight Dora Gansaku. They manage to force Dora Gansaku to retreat, but after the battle, Burai finds Kouta iller than ever due to the day’s activities and rushes him to the hospital, ending episode two of the arc.
The final episode of the arc starts with Burai trying to cheer up Kouta, giving him his Dino Medal before Kouta passes out due to his illness. With 2 hours left, Boi and Mei finally arrive at the pond and attempt to grab the elixir, but the statue holding the elixir attacks them. They transform and fight the statue.
Meanwhile, with an hour and a half left, a giant Dora Gansaku (disguised as Daizyuzin again) attacks once again, along with a giant Lamy and Grifforzer. Gouryuzin and Tyrannosaurus try to fight back, but with the combined strength of Dora Gansaku, Lamy and Grifforzer, they can’t possibly win.
With one hour left, Mei and Boi finally grab the elixir, but Clotho arrives, revealing that there’s no way they’ll return in time to save Burai. Boi and Mei ask Clotho to extend Burai’s life a little longer, but Clotho says that when he revived Burai, it took a lot of his power, but he agrees to try, only managing to extend Burai’s life by 30 minutes.
With the elixir in hand, Mei and Boi make haste for Burai, as Gouryuzin and Tyrannosaurus are being beaten by Dora Gansaku, Lamy and Grifforzer. However, the citizens seeing this, try to motivate the Zyurangers into fighting them. Hearing the cheers of the citizens, as well as Burai remembering the state of Kouta, Gouryuzin and Tyrannosaurus get up. The Zyurangers plead to the gods to give them energy, they do so by shining more sunlight (because they are powered by Gaiatron energy, which can be derived from the sun) onto the robots and allowing Burai to transform, powering them up.
Even with the second wind, It’s not enough, but with 10 minutes left, Pteradon arrives with Boi and Mei. With Pteradon, they form Ultimate Daizyuzin and make quick work of Dora Gansaku, and force Lamy and Grifforzer to retreat.
However, time’s up for Burai and he’s forced out of his transformed state, the other’s getting out of Ultimate Daizyuzin and onto the streets. Geki pleads Burai to have the Elixir, but Burai refuses, as he wants the Elixir to be given to Kouta as his last wish, as there’s only enough for one. The Zyurangers all begrudging agree, Burai thanking them all, and gives Geki the Zyusouken and Dragon Armor, before passing on.
The Zyurangers mourn over Burai, but eventually give the elixir to the near-dead Kouta, who is healed from his illness. He thanks the Zyurangers for everything, but wonder where Burai is, but the Zyuranger’s reveal the truth, Kouta giving the medal to Geki as a keepsake. The episode ends with the Zyurangers burying Burai’s body, and mourning him.
Personally, this is the way I would’ve done it, I mean the main goal was to try and make the Guardian Beasts be less asshole-ish and also explain why Clotho can’t just add more time to Burai, but I’m not a writer.

SSSS.Dynazenon – 02 – What Are We Now?
The first of many wonderful decisions made in this exquisitely directed and impeccably detailed second episode is that we catch a second look at the end of last week’s kaiju battle from Yomogi’s POV. It’s great to see this confused ordinary kid simply along for the ride as Dynazenon leaps, flies, and takes its opponent down.
After that, the dino-mecha vanishes, or rather reverts to its resting form of four toys distributed among the three new co-pilots by Gauma. When Yomogi says he didn’t even do anything, Gauma says it’s possibly Dynazenon recognized his innate aptitude.
Then immediately goes back to what he was doing before the attack: castigating Yume for standing Yomogi up, leading Yomogi to ask for calm. Gauma goes on to say a group called the Kaiju Eugenicists controlled the kaiju, and they’ll be back, so the group has to train. Everyone agrees to meet up tomorrow…even Yume.
The next day at school and in Koyomi’s room, everything seemingly reverts back to normal, except for the compression of classes due to the kaiju attack. Yomogi’s friends want him to hang, but he has work. Chise points out to Koyomi that if he’s a robot co-pilot then that means he’s technically employed.
After school Yume gets a piggyback ride from her best friend Mei on a grassy hill near the flood gate. We’ve never seen her so outwardly joyful, laughing until she’s out of breath before heading to training session, this time keeping her word. Mei, a photog, notices this sudden change in Yume’s attitude and snaps some gorgeous candid shots of her as she parts.
Yomogi, who’d classically be the one most “into” this new kaiju-punching mecha scenario, has to work instead, missing the first training session. When his manager what happened on his date, he says “way too much” happened, though none of it “erotically”. He then goes home for a soak and is shocked when Gauma comes in to join him in a far-too-cramped tub.
There’s a lovely juxtaposition between Yomogi and Gauma’s bath and Yume’s. Yomogi was thinking about what having “aptitude” for Dynazenon means, while Yume is thinking about apologizing to Yomogi. Her parents are arguing on the other side of Yume’s bathroom door, one instance of many of Dynazenon’s elite sound design.
From the tinny sound of voices on radio or TV, voices muffled through walls, far away, close up, outside and on the train, we hear voices in Dynazenon just like we do in real life. Also adding to the immersive realism are the extremely lived-in interiors. Like Gauma, we feel like an honored guest in the cozy, realistically cluttered home Yomogi shares with his mom and aging granny.
It’s also clear from this scene why Yomogi is working so much he’s missing all of Gauma’s training sessions: with no siblings or father, now that he’s old enough to work he wants to help support his family as much as he can. As odd as Gauma is, he still seems to get this, and isn’t hard on Yomogi’s choice to skip training for work.
But as we’re introduced to four suspicious figures near a wrecked station, he won’t be able to ignore his Dyna-duties for long. Yume tracks him down and decides to give him a one-on-one lesson on how to access his Dyna-vehicle. She starts by accessing hers: the aerial Dyna Wing, and he accesses Dyna Soldier. Then she merges with him, giving his robot the ability to fly and giving her robot arms and legs with which to fight.
The two combine quickly and without any fanfare, but it still feels like an intimate act, and it was foreshadowed by Yume piggyback riding on Mei’s back. Now she’s piggybacking on Yomogi, and their maiden flight together results in a very sweet and simple conciliatory talk from 40,000 feet travelling at mach 0.8.
Yume is sorry, and Yomogi isn’t mad. Yomogi asked “What are we now?”, referring to their combined Wing/Soldier form. But you could just as easily answer that “what they are now” … is friends. They were able to bridge the distance between them and start fresh…all thanks to robots.
In a very slick transition, their combined “Dyna Wing Soldier” flies behind a building as the camera pans down, and once we’re at ground level we see Yume and Yomogi walking together. They visit the collateral damage the kaiju battle caused, which distresses Yomogi, but Yume assures him it would have been far worse had they not fought and defeated the kaiju. In light of the mess they made, Yomogi wonders if they should hand off their Dyna duties to someone else—perhaps someone older or more experience.
Yume’s response is instructive: If you always go by the book, there are things you can’t protect. On the train home, Yume opens up to him about how her sister died, in an accident, at the flood gate where she spends so much time. It’s another momentous moment presented with sublime mundaneness. Kudos again to the sound design, as you can hear her voice bouncing off the metal walls of the train.
Just like that, smash cut to the kaiju of the week – initially so unassuming, taking up a tiny portion of the frame as it lurks under an overpass. Then Yuuga, one of the four too-cool-for-school “Bad Guy” kaiju users in marching band uniforms (a Trigger trademark) is chosen by the others to take command, and the kaiju grows to immense size.
The psychedelic kaiju starts leveling city blocks when Dynazenon arrives, just as Yuuga & Co. predicted. Only as expected, this second kaiju is a lot trickier than the first. One can’t just punch it, because it can freakin’ teleport. Yuuga uses this ability to great effect by kicking the shit out of the comparatively sluggish Dynazenon while dodging all it’s counterattacks.
Gauma decides to audible “Disperse!”, and the four Dyna parts split, giving their opponent four targets. The only problem is, without any training Yomogi has no idea how to move his Soldier Dyna on its own, and as he wrestles with the controls his sitting duck Dyna’s arms flail around comically. If that wasn’t enough, his manager calls him from work, a fun instance of his normal life interrupting his new kaiju-bustin’ one.
When the enemy kaiju accelerates its destructo-beams and buildings start to crumble, Yomogi spots a bus full of innocent people in harm’s way, and realizes that whether he’s confident in his abilities or not, he wants to protect them. Yume suggests they do what they did before and piggyback into Dyna Soldier, and with Yume’s added agility is able to destroy the fragile wings the kaiju was using to teleport.
After that, he and Yume launch the kaiju high into the sky, where Gauma is able to finish it off with his Dyna Launcher Burst Missile. Team Dynazenon is now 2-for-2, with Dyna-teamwork making the Dyna-dream work. As they exit their robots and bask in their latest victory, Yomogi asks if Yume was close to her sister. She says they didn’t get along well, but admits that now she’s not so sure anymore.
Just as their regular lives are portrayed so simply and realistically with both sights and sounds, there’s a similar realism to the feelings Yume and Yomogi expressed here. There’s nothing over-the-top or melodramatic about their exchanges. Instead, they’re becoming closer little by little, at their own pace.
Unfortunately the pace of battles is likely to heat up, as the enemy kaiju users Gauma identifies as the “Kaiju Eugenicists” are steaming over their latest defeat. Our ragtag gang of good-hearted souls want to keep protecting what they can, they’ll need to step up their Dyna-battle game, ’cause these drum majors look serious, and the gloves are coming off.

For me I've loved most after the original gen 3, as I started with Diamond!
I have no opinion on Galar, so I'm skipping if that's alright?- no Switch...
(The Spin off's are amazing though! The Explorers games and Rumble Blast are my favorites- EOS being top!)
This is just for the main games from me, Spin offs, Anime, and movies have their own rankings!
My answers under the cut because its kinda long! 😅
1. HG/SS Jhoto- Beautiful remake- sound and design wise, mon's follow you, Umbreon's home region who is hands down one of my, if not my favorite mon!
2. Both Unovas- Snivy and Oshawott are so cute! Back then I had long hair, no glasses, I have blue eyes and always had a baseball cap on, so I highly identified with White/Hilda/Touko! (can you tell she's my favorite?!😝)
I was also happy to have a region based off the at the time good old USA!
You can't tell me Castelia city isn't New York City!
Moving sprites!!!
I adore that scene where a certain group was about to go ham on your character, but another group comes to the rescue!
Just the little thing of White backing up while these people approach, and then bam!
A playable character actually showing emotion, you rarely see any emotion, but I could tell she was spooked!
Operation rescue White go! 😁
I dressed up as Rosa/Mei back in High school for a school spirit day literally the day before Black 2 and White 2 came out!
In B2 and W2 you can catch friggin Latias- another big favorite!
My Arceus/Windsinger, the music, especially in B2/W2's gyms and Driftveil city in both games!
Reshiram and Zekrom are awesome!
Victini is so friggin cute- and their music/the Swords of Justice's theme rocks!
The shiny Beast trio event that let's you obtain a Zorua is a nice touch!
(Especially when there's a girl reading to a camouflaged Zorua and remarking about how cute Zorua are and him blushing!)
(Though I have Scopophobia- fear of eyes, and the X-tranceiver unnerved me more than a hoard of Joltik!)
3. Sinnoh- My first ever region! It will always hold a special place in my heart! One of my best friends from Middle school introduced me to Diamond and Pearl and got me hooked! (2008/9ish! Sadly we lost contact when she moved...)
Is Dialga cool or what?! 😁
Big....Dino...Dragon!
My kid self loved just spamming Dragon Pulse in the Elite 4/Cynthia battle!
I didn't much enjoy the battle park save for the music!
A wild Looker has appeared! 😁
One of the first mons you can catch is a Shinx, they're so friggin cute!!!
I recently replayed Diamond and had a female named Mila almost the entire time!
Haven't beaten the Elite 4 yet- prolly cause' I don't have Dialga on my team! 😆
The underground was cool!
The Wi-fi plaza was interesting! Didn't get Wi-fi until later but it was enough time before Nintendo shut off services to do some stuff!
4. Kalos- CUSTOM TRAINERS!!! This was great! I could make Serena look however I wanted!
The music and story, just chef's kiss!
Especially the endgame stuff with Looker!
Arceus seeing him in 3d years after Platinum came on the scene, it was surreal!
"Hey! I know that guy! It's Looker!"
The gyms layouts were pretty snazzy!
(Pfft, IRL I would just take the elevator up to Grant lol! 😅 I'm no rock climber!)
Battling an IRL friend after school in High school at a club and standing a decent chance! (I get absolutely bodied if and when I go online for battles, so I just stick to trading lol! 😅)
Xerneas is one majestic deer!
(Had a loooot of trouble trying to say their names at first, but I think I have a grasp on that now!)
5. ORAS Hoenn- 3d May, and she had full emotional range!
Again, music, very good music!
A lot of music on my phone is actually from ORAS!
The going to fight Kyogre/Groudon dialogue was very moving and has a trope I like I believe!
Let's just let that kid who beat us stroll in there and catch that Primal, she's the only one who can do it!
The suits to protect May from the elements looked sooo good!
The Delta Episode was a nice touch!
Exploring the Abandoned ship while being able to fully see the mon you're riding on was ridiculously cool!
(Especially since cheating with Powersaves was running rampant at this time and people was just handing out shiny Kyogres/Groudons and Rayquaza's left and right- with their orbs might I add, permitting you were on ORAS and not X and Y.
I admit I was one of them, I really only hacked for shinies though!)
6. Alola (Though you could say Kalos, ORAS and Alola are on par with each other, and higher on my list as well!)
Trainer customisation again! Litten and Popplio- finally a kitty starter- and one with attitude may I add! 😁
The Trials were an interesting change!
Riding on Stoutland was my favorite thing!
Just imagine the kid who's about to save the day, or the kid you're waiting for, or the Alolan champion just running by on a Stoutland- not sniffing for items.
(Yea, I did search for items at some point, but I liked running by/to important characters while on a Stoutland!
"Wait!
Was that?
Yup?
What is she doing?
Hey Moon!
We're over here!*😆
I liked imagining their faces with stuff like that! Bet dismounting your big fluffy dog was awe inspiring as well!
(I liked the specific music for Stoutland the best!)
You fly by things on a Stoutland, that must be fun- even with motion sickness!
Giant space lion/giant space bat whose music was top notch!
Actually the music just before you get to the alter is fantastic, I'm glad it's a long route!
The stuff with the UB's in Ultra Sun was fun too! I just sadly never got the hang of the Ultra Wormholes....My reaction time is not the best...I barely made it through the part where you NEEDED to go in there for story stuff!
Heard Ultra Wormholes are where you get exclusive UB's and can catch shinies easier!
7. Kanto- I don't hate it in the slightest despit it being on the bottom of the list! A lot of my favorites are actually Kantonian!
Bulbasaur, Eevee, Vulpix, Growlithe etc...!
I don't really have a bond with Kanto as much as the others as I haven't gotten to fully play Fire red, Leaf green, and was Blue real?
I remember someone saying that Blue was in place of Green for North America because Christmas colors 🤷♀️
I DID grab a Leaf Green emulator for my phone recently though!
Boy are the newer games spoiling you!
Running shoes immediately, easy access to a Pichu or Pikachu, among other things!
I just haven't touched it in a bit...NOTN ya know! 😁
(And my phone vibrates when I tap something and I can't figure out how to turn it off....)
I had a Fire red from 2008/9, but my DS wasn't working...I think I was never able to get past Snorlax because I didn't know how!
But after seeing Kalos dealing with it, as well as a fan comic for Leaf Green I think I know how to finally proceed!
I know you didn't ask, but there's my current fave regions/gens for the mainline Pokémon games!
Hmm what are ur fave pokemon games like, in order?
I’m gonna think on that
