Denji Sentai Megaranger- Character Outfit Designs (Flat color ver.)

So, Initially I was going to release these separately and as more complete/shaded versions. The project kind of got to be a bit too complicated and I ended up being a bit happier with the flat color designs than i did the more finished ones.

So, as for the designs:

-The first two are based on the "School uniform" and "Megaranger" uniforms that appeared in the show.

-The third is a take on the characters wearing the "Power Rangers in Space" (Megaranger's PR counterpart) uniforms

-The Fourth is a casual outfit design by me. (Except for Yuusaku/MegaSilver, which is just the lab-coat alternate outfit).

The last two designs I was planning on using as an art reference for a sort of sequel series fanfic idea I had. But, it hasn't been much more than a few ideas/concepts at this point.

I had a nice debate with age in Transformers, FNAF, and Mega Man. I'm going to be real frank with you. I believe some of these characters ages fluctuate and I treat them all like real beings with birthdays, some of which they are older than they seem.

For starters. If Mega Man had a birthday he'd be over 100 years old by now. Imo Bass and Blues are in their teens. 17-19.

But for me, me personally my personal headcanon for Roll and Rock is that they are twins.

Mega Man X is a tricky subject and a VERY bad thing. Because while he was created at 13 (Sources needed) he was sealed for 100 years.

I still treat him as 13.

As for Transformers.

What FLUENCATES an age.

Anything below 1,000,000 years old counts as a child.

Transformers' lives are long to them. So basically. They are born 100 years old, and age about 100 years each and every time. I believe of that.

HOWEVER. just because of my personal opinions DOESN'T mean I'll ship MegaBass or MegaBlues. Its STILL IMMORAL.

Highlights of Denji Sentai Megaranger ep 1 in my opinion :

-Kenta being completely fine to follow random people if they offered him yakiniku

-The fact that he loves yakiniku being written on his data

-Shun talking about the buildings vents (wait until he sees among us /j)

-Kouichirou figuring out the earthquake isn't normal and Chisato, Miku and Shun stare at him

-Megablue making poses in front of something mirror-like

-The amount of explosions in a debut episode

-The ending (especially the scene where Chisato poses with a reading Kouichirou, the scene where Shun holds the camera, and the scene where Shun falls on the beach)

i was struck by the urge to see some powered rangers so i’ve been watching (ok that’s a strong word. skimming through) in space on youtube and it’s cute. not like, good, really? but cute. their extremely 90s team uniforms are great. “let’s rocket” is the most adorable thing to say when you henshin. and i love the names they gave some of this stuff like megayellow’s shitty little weapon is the “star slinger”? A+

all the moments where you clearly see like MEGABLUE or INET onscreen are soo funny though like they just said “whatever” on using that footage huh 😂
