Courting challenge of Medusa but with Thor

-Thor knew that you were a powerful warrior with a powerful ability, being able to turn others to stone, which you were careful about, not wanting to accidentally turn someone to stone, despite it only lasting for about a day in Valhalla.

-He had seen you fight alongside humanity; you were like the demoness many tried to portray you as, but when he learned the truth behind you, what had happened and what Athena had done to you, he felt sympathetic but also angry for you.

-You were attacked, you were just a human back then, being faced against a god, one of the strongest, and instead of helping you, the goddess you worshipped turned you into what you are today.

-You no longer viewed yourself as a monster, you treated this gift as a blessing as it kept you safe, but that didn’t mean you forgave Athena, as you kicked her ass in Ragnarok, and you made it look easy!

-Thor had to admit that you were powerful, you were cocky, but you could back your skills up with your talent and hard-earned skills.

-That’s what drew him to you, your strength, as he admired those who were strong and you proved that you were immensely strong, not just in combat.

-You were a bit thrown off by this Norse god coming to you, just staring, but you felt no ill-intent from him, it was like he wanted to speak with you, but he couldn’t bring himself to do so.

-When he finally managed to speak, you were surprised when he asked for a sparring match, wanting to test your strength for himself.

-You knew that you stood no chance against Thor, and you tried to refuse, but there was something in his eyes that made you agree, after he asked a few more times.

-You both fought barehanded and like you expected he did beat you, but you had surprised him with a few hard hits of your own, proving that you weren’t a pushover.

-When Thor helped you up, you froze when he kneeled, still holding onto one of your hands, pecking the back of it, “Marry me Y/N.”

-Your snakes all froze, their mouths falling open in shock, mirroring your own shock before he stood, thinking he came off too strong when you didn’t answer him, as your mind couldn’t comprehend what you just heard.

-Thor was serious, returning to you each day with different gifts, from bouquets of flowers to sword and other weapons, asking you each day to marry him.

-He was blunt and straightforward, but it was the unwavering look in his eyes that made you realize this wasn’t just a prank, he was serious about courting you.

-You managed to make him freeze when he brought you another sword, expertly crafted and you handed him a necklace, the pendant being carved emerald, matching the green in your scales as you turned, feeling a bit shy, but your snakes were stretching out towards him, wanting him to give them affection, mirroring your inner emotions again.

-You were a powerful woman, but you were sometimes too adorable for your own good as he accepted, feeling happy that you were finally returning his courting attempts. Now if you would just say yes to his proposal.

Yn waits at the meeting place, a nice spot in the park under falling petals of sakuras. Perhaps the dreamy, romantic atmosphere can somehow enchant Sunghoon into giving Yn a chance.

He put an effort and thought into his look to sway the odds in his favour. While he's almost sure his favourite reading spot will turn to a place of heartbreak, a reminder of a failed first love, he decided to not give up right away, so he foolishly granted himself a sliver of hope to cling to.

He sits anxiously on the bench, fidgeting with the small gift in his hands and going over his admitedly sappy speech. Perhaps he should've written it down. Or maybe even ask some kind of AI to write it for him. He's not here yet, maybe Yn can cancel last minute and ask to reschedule so he can prepa-

"Yn!"

Nevermind.

Sunghoon strides towards a petrified Yn, turned to stone by how needlessly handsome Sunghoon looks as if he just looked into the eyes of a medusa.

"Did you wait long?" He asks, sitting down too close for Yn's sanity's comfort.

"No. You're right on time."

"So, what are we doing? You were pretty cryptic about it." He states. he isn't wrong. Yn did ask him to meet at the most random time seemingly for no reason at all. Yn is sure Sunghoon is smart enough to know a surprise is coming.

Well, surprise is one way to put it. Yn would describe it more like a slap that came out of nowhere. Or maybe even an guerilla style ambush, depending on how appaled Sunghoon will be in a minute or two.

"There's something I need to tell you." He says, getting up and picks a place in front of Sunghoon to stand on. He hands him the gift he prepared - small red box. Sunghoon opens it with warm yet slightly confused smile. There's a simple silver pendant inside, in the shape of the sickle moon.

"Yn, what is this?"

"I bought it because I noticed the Moon was always at this stage when some important things happened between us. The night I had a nightmare and you came to me, the night you kissed me, when I became your blood servant and..." He trails off and takes a deep breath to take the final leap.

"And?"

"And when I realized I have feelings for you."

"Y-you what?" Sunghoon asks and stands up so abruptly Yn takes a step back in surprise.

"I like you." He repeats, looking down on his feet. "I'm sorry."

Yn can't lie, he's a little mad that he wasted all the time coming up with a perfect confession for nothing, but at least the truth is out.

It hangs in the air between them, a big question mark burning right below it. Will Sunghoon accept his clumsy confession, or will he let him down?

Turns out neither option came true, because instead of talking Sunghoon invades Yn's space with one long stride. With his finger curled under Yn's chin, he makes him meet his eyes and connects their lips moments after.

It's very different from their first kiss but not quite. It's all feelings and no passion, no lust or need but Yn feels butterflies in his stomach all the same.

Either way, it's the best answer Yn could hope for.

Much to Sunghoon's dismay, Yn pulls away the moment he hears someone approaching.

"I'm gonna go ahead and assume you like me too."

"God, you have no idea how much." He says, still sounding as if he can't believe the situation.

"I guess now we belong to each other completely."

6. I find a connection between Ashlesha and plastic surgery. Ashlesha is the star of restriction and its tightly coiled by nature. These natives often express their severity through their self-presentation. On another note, these tropical Leo natives become sidereal Cancers and while Leos are known for being extremely self conscious and prone to fluctuating self esteem, adding a layer of Cancerian sensitivity makes things worse for them. This piece began with a literal dream - I had a dream that I was crocheting a Medusa plushie.

Of course, since I am currently not crocheting, I was unable to make the dream a reality. I did try to figure it out though...😂

Fast forward a month or so, I came across this amazing Medusa pendant and I had that bolt of lightning sensation hit me. I knew then, that I needed to make a chainmail piece with the pendant as the centerpiece.

This is the result! The weave is offset Byzantine using 2 sizes of 18 gauge rings. There are over 500 rings in this necklace so it was a true labor of love!

The camera just does not capture how dynamic this piece is in person. It is a statement piece for sure.
