Hello! Okay, so this question might come out of nowhere, but how would you handle the Mecha Sonics series (or any sonic duplicates other than Metal/Mike, really) within your au and stuff? It's fascinating to see all the thought you put into things, so i'm curious as to what you would do with them.

I was open to coming up with something for Mecha Mk.II, but then Scrapnik Island happened and it'd feel like sacrilege to not assume it's canon, lol

As for the others? It's tricky to say, as I always felt Mk.I was the least sentient and didn't necessitate like, characterization or a story. I think only the weird Mecha-Godzilla-Inspired Mecha from Sonic Adventure would make sense as like, maybe worth doing stuff with? But he'd be a blank check to do literally whatever, and that feels almost too easy to do something wacky and zany with. Maybe he's a gladiator-type. In civilized badnik society, he provides entertainment and butts heads with Metal and Orbot as the Auto-Dragoon, along with Metal Knuckles. That feels the most feasible

i feel so bad for every one of Sonic's robot doubles. It's become abundantly clear that Metal and Mecha Mk. II are sentient (even with some restraints to free will) and seeing Mecha Mk. III sitting in a tube once again makes me sad. Do they hate each other. Do they hate their ironic existence

The Metal Sonic Troopers (left) were one hundred robots created in the Archie comics during the year Sonic was believed to be dead. They were intended to help defend the Acorn Kingdom in Sonic's stead, but were not used due to his unexpected return. They were later activated by the mysterious "anonymous" in order to attack Eggman

Mecha Sonic Mark III aka Silver Sonic v2.0 (right) briefly appeared in Sonic Adventure. It also attacked Station Square in the Archie comics, but was reprogrammed to act as its guardian instead

I'm not sure if most/ all of the levels would be inside neo's island fortress.

EDIT: I have this emerl looking robot and I absolutely do not know if I should have a mega man arm for him. (Easier to draw?)

Captain Octopus = A boss that Is in water.

i've scoured for sonics far and wide and have returned with 24 whole sonics to fight to the death for your amusement! your votes will decide who overcomes the other and we will keep going until the ultimate sonic has been declared.

i've attempted to match the characters up as best as possible

-Archie Sonic, both pre and post reboot. -Dash and Spin Sonic -STC/Fleetway Sonic -Emperor Metallix from the Fleetway comics -A Sonic from a somewhat obscure comic from the 90s, called Sonic Adventures "Dans les Griffes de Robotnik" -All main robot Sonics, including Metal Sonic, Silver Sonic, Mecha Sonic mk I, Mecha Sonic mk II, Mecha Sonic mk III and Shard the Metal Sonic -Also Roboticized Sonic, also known as Archie Mecha Sonic -Game Sonics like Classic and Modern Sonic -Sonics from video media, including SatAM (or American in general) Sonic, OVA Sonic, Sonic X Sonic, Boom Sonic, Movie Sonic and Prime Sonic -Extra Life from the Fleetway comics, an extra life box come to life with a grudge for being created to solely provide Sonic with another chance. Technically is a Sonic due to being created specifically to give Sonic another body should he pass.

and would you look at that... more sonics have joined the fight! say hello to zonic the zone cop, scourge the hedgehog, sonic man and nicky the hedgehog! i'm adding them in now because i couldn't think of a full eight more sonics for round one. little surprise! also makes the numbers more even.

i'm surprised at some of these results, but they've resulted in some interesting matchups! i'm looking forward to seeing what comes of round 2!

mecha mk III and extra life, due to their draw, have decided to forgo fighting and live happily together. they've left their replacement badnik sonic in their place.

i will be posting the polls sometime today. keep an eye out! if there are any more 50/50s i will look a little disappointed because sonic can't cry

Extra Life (left) was a clone of Sonic created in Sonic the Comic. He was intended to act as a replacement for Sonic in the case of his death, but turned out evil. He was trapped in a computer, but was able to trick Tails into freeing him. Extra Life then went around causing problems for everyone, until he was trapped again and kicked into space
