Hours.

I will only pay this fucking level on PS2 with cheats on. AND understanding of the levitation balloon skip.

Fuck this hard ass level in this janky ass game.

You do NOT need fireballs on THE FLOATING GRATES. HOOPS OF FIRE ARE FINE BUT THE FIREBALLS ON THE GRATES ARE OVERKILL.

ALSO FUCK THE TIMERS. EACH LEVEL HAS ITS OWN GIMMICK AND YOU GIVE RAZ'S MIND NOT ONE, BUT TWO FUCKING TIMERS?! "I only have one day or I lose my shot forever" IS THAT WHY? THAT'S A STUPID REASON.

... Psychonauts is a charming, funny game, but I can't, in good concious, recommend it.

If I were to try to mod the game here's what I would do-

Knife Throwers are nixed in the escort mission, and we're given the wheel in the 4th part of the meat Circus.

Tunnel of love is... fine.

First boss is okay.

Fourth area, they give Raz a checkpoint, but they also give that to the water. Instead I would just reset the water level. It can already be devastating to fall near the end. Also the water can envelop the ladder so even if you get to that end part, suddenly the water touches a rung and you're back at the flaming hoops. No more fireballs on the grates either. It's hard enough to get on them without tanking damage. Evil Augustus throws things at a slower rate so you can actually jump or run to dodge.

Second boss fight- Make it so that TK locks into the bad knee. Throwing at the bad knee only to hit the chest is FUCKING IRRITATING.

... I wish Psychonauts gets a good remaster, cause I feel that with Psychonauts 2 controls, it could actually be... fun? Fair?

I was replaying the first Psychonauts, and I normally say "Meat Circus isn't as difficult as everyone says it is" but nope. I was wrong. Meat Circus is a pain in the ass.

Honestly after the second game, I feel as though the Meat Circus would’ve had a Dion, Frazie, and Donatella boss fight as well. Donatella of course being the most dangerous due to her passive aggressiveness
