“Oooooh okay okay! I’ve seen this guy around! I know he produced some of Miku-chan and Meari-chan’s music! I use his music all the time in my videos, myself! He puts out great stuff, what can I say! He has a radio show that people love here and he DJ’s at his wife’s club, so though I don’t see him in person all that much, I can at least say he’s very well-liked with over here in Roppongi!”

“Y’know, I kinda wish I could have the time to actually stop by the club and let loose. But there’s soooooooo many things keeping me busy! Not that I can complain, I love ever aspect of my life right now! But I don’t think I’ve went clubbing in like, what, three years? A lot of my friends in Hollywood often ask about nightlife in Tokyo. You know what I tell ‘em? That they should visit Gypsy’s Palace! I’ve seen what it’s like inside— duh— I’ve done her hubbie’s makeup there! Name aside, it’s really a great place to be and it’s nice to have this place in our hometown! It ain’t easy running a place on your own, so I gotta give credit where credit’s due! I just don’t know her personally enough to really talk about… her.”

“Well damn! We’re not that far apart in age, but he definitely reminds me of how I used to be in high school haha! Always seeking out the thrill of living on chance, not knowing whether your next little action can make you wind up dead. Yup! That was me alright! Looks like he’s still carrying that with him. Yknow what? Good for him! I’ve seen some clips circling the internet of the shit he does at his mom’s club! Goddamn, dude, you are something!”

“Hmmm, when I was a teenager, I spent more time around the streets or in underground fighting rings rather than being cozy in my family’s manor… I wonder if this guy’s ever been to one of those fighting rings! If he ever did and voted for me, I gotta thank him cuz man! I made bank back then!”

Private Party

“Y’know, I thought since all of us live in Roppongi, we’d all know everything about everyone. So imagine my surprise when the team representing my home is a group of people I don’t know too well! Wait… wait, wait, wait, wait! R.I.P Märchen, Oculus, Jet Set Trio… and now we have Private Party?! Hmm… hmmmmmm…. Arrgggghhh this is gonna make things so much more complicated! No more teams from this city! Please! Chuohku, you’re gonna ruin everything! No more!”

“Fine then, from one Roppongi native to another… best of luck! Don’t you let me down now!”

The day was slowly winding down, turning daytime into night. Just a few more hours more and it would mark the end of Yuuya's birthday. Suddenly she heard a knock on the door. Ceasing what he was doing for the moment, he opened the door to find a large package outside the door. Blinking, the former high school student picked it up and groaned as he had underestimated its weight.

Lugging the large package, whatever it was, inside the house and to his bedroom, he sighed as he finally dropped the thing on the ground. Opening it up, the part-time worker looked at what was inside, his eyes growing wide.

It was an electric guitar, at least to the untrained eye. But if you knew music like Yuuya, you'd know this was a Platinum ESP FRX CTM FR Electric Guitar, worth over $35 grand. You'd have to save up big time in order to even acquire one of these. And now... Yuuya, the boy fresh out of high school was now in possession of one.

As he held it in his hands, his eyes sparkled and he couldn't help but give it a few strokes. Even just random notes on this thing sounded spectacular. He was almost hesitant to hold it because he was afraid it might disappear. As he did hold onto it, a thought came to his head: who left this for him?

As if to answer his question, a note was plastered on the back of the package, which read:

'What up, birthday boy?! Heard it was your birthday today, so I decided to thank you for sending me those purses and sunglasses last year for my birthday. So I went out and bought you this electric guitar! I heard you were a music fan and loved music, so what better way to celebrate than sending you a fuckin' electric guitar, you know? So have fun with that thing, kid! And don't worry if you get cracked or something, it's insured! So go fuckin' nuts! And happy birthday again!

Meari "Bloody Mary" Miracle'

“Huh? —Eh??! Really?! What’s happening? Is this really from ‘Bloody Mary’ ???”

The birthday boy’s brain had just stopped functioning for a moment as there was nothing but a surprised noise fumbling from his mouth when he discovered what was hidden in a mysterious package he accidentally found at his doorstep. “The lead singer of famous 86 herself was the one sending this to me?!”

Who would have known that one day he was going to get a hand on this very exclusive brand-new electric guitar this soon… And even far beyond his imagination, it was from one of the artists he (and his clubmates) held in great admiration! He would have never expected her to recognize him from all a massive number of her fans though.

“What’s the matter, human!? Hey, be careful!! You almost dropped your phone!” Shrieked ANGE who was currently displaying on his phone’s screen until she caught a glimpse of something shining in his hands. “Wait— Have you got a new gift?! Lemme see! Lemme see!”

Perhaps her enthusiastic voice snapped him back from being stunned with surprise, even Ojou-chan who was lying with her eyes closed was perking up her ears and jumped down her beloved cat tree to check on him.

Yuuya cleared his throat a bit in embarrassment before adjusting his phone’s position for his cybernetic roommate to get a better view.

“Ahem, well, you see… The note said that it’s Miracle-san from Minato Division who had given me this wonderful present. Now it looks like I don’t have to worry about borrowing the old buds from my club room anymore.”

Yuuya gave his brand-new guitar few testing strokes and let its vibrant sound echoed in his room. Maybe he would get this cool lad some tune up by tomorrow since today was already getting late at night. By the way, he just couldn’t wait to find out what part he could add it in his current work-in-process!

The electric guitar was one of the instruments that gained its exclusivity at his club. Since the good instruments were quite hard to afford by students, especially by those who had to work hard in order to support their own lives such as him, originally he and others in the club had to play with a single handed-down one in their club room —And yeah, to gain its accessibility became a bit difficult as he had already graduated from school.

He also didn’t have one at home before he was gifted by Maeri. The only guitar he owned was the acoustic one his father used when he was just a beginner. In truth, he thought he had seen a lot more fantastic instruments back when he took him to visit his workplace. But, as heart-wrenching as it was, there were no more of those days since everything was now gone like a whisk of smoke…

One memory of 16 candles shining brightly on a pound dessert was still haunting him at every beginning of summer.

With a vacant chair on the opposite side of his seat, no matter how long the day was or just or how short the night of that year had become, a part of him still kept wondering…

…If only that time he wouldn’t be greedy, if only that time he wouldn’t be too ambitious asking his dad for too much, or if somehow he could make a flawless work, he wondered if anything would have changed way back then.

The sun had long disappeared with a scent of aromatic incense diluting in the air.

On her very special day of birth, three distinct gifts were gifted to the one and only Meari "Bloody Mary" Miracle of one of Minato's Divisions, Oculus.

The first gift, easily which was large, was a speaker in the shape of a coffin, it also came with a card.

Crazy it seems like we've only just met one another but you're one of my good friends both in and out of the music industry. Knowing you, you don't like all the sappy and sentimental stuff so I'll get to the point, happy birthday and I hope you like my gift. I'll be looking forward to see you in the studio some time.

The second gift, easily the largest of them all, was an entire chandelier made with human skulls. Much like the last gfit, this one also came with a card.

It fucking sucks that I can't give you this in person but I am kinda busy at the moment with, y'know, things, so I was only able to send this letter. Before you ask, no these aren't real human skulls unfortunately but I hope you like them all the same. Hope you have a great day and I can't wait to hear more from you and the rest of 86!

Lastly, the final gift, which wasn't as big as the first two, revealed to be a lingerie set and a bottle of fine, hard whiskey. This one came with a card as well.

"You said that Sumire-girl sent this to you?" Iris asked to Meari, who was busy hanging up the skeleton chandelier in the music studio in her mansion.

"For the hundredth millionth time, Iris, fucking yes!" Meari answered, yelling down at her friend from atop the ladder she was on.

"Hey, don't fucking yell at me, bitch!" Iris shouted back. "I was just asking a question."

"And it's a question you done asked about five fucking times already!" Meari argued, before pointing to the chandelier.

"Yes, Sumire sent me this badass chandelier, 'Pretty Boy' sent me that speaker I need to finish setting up, and Lola sent me that lingerie set and that liquor... which Ren better not be fucking drinking, by the way!"

Glaring down at her bass guitarist, who was busy indulging himself with the bottle of whiskey, Meari sighed as Ren, put his hands up in peace, silently promising not to drink anymore.

"It's definitely badass!" Jo shouted, appearing out of nowhere, as she stared at the chandelier, which Meari just finished. "Sumire-chan has good awesome taste!"

"Damn straight, Jo." Meari said, staring up at her work, as the chandelier slowly twirled around, adding a very macabre feel to the entire room.

"Well, as good as the chandelier is," Johnny Zan said, walking up to the trio, smoking. "I'm more interested in that bottle of whiskey. Can we drink some before Ren finishes it all?"

"I'm fucking down for that." Iris said, smirking.

"Same!" Jo agreed.

"You pricks do know Lola gifted that shit to me, and only me, right?" Meari said, scowling at her bandmates.

"Stop being fucking greedy and share!" Iris yelled.

"...You all are so fucking lucky I love you." Meari growled, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Go get some shot glasses, before I change my fucking mind."

Obeying, Jo quickly ran to the nearby liquor cabinet and pulled out several shot glasses for all of the members. Sighing once more, the frontwoman of the band, poured a moderate amount of liquor in each one, completely emptying the bottle. Afterwards, Ren silently raised a glass, which was mimicked by the rest of the band. Clinking their glasses together, the group quickly down their glasses, before letting the festivities continue.

"Now that is how you fucking celebrate."

“Another possibly evil, but smart lady with a penchant for revenge? I’m heart’s going to be toast if every enemy team has leaders like this!”

“Ah, but Nadya? I have never ever met her! I do get hired by big government people to find their people of interest every so often, but never anything case sensitive like the scientists. I’d say it would be cool to do a job like that, just finding Nadya-chan and reporting on her, but with how anti-Chuuoku my team is, I don’t think I could bring myself to do anything like that today.”

“Meari Miracle… Oh, like the Meari-chan from 86? You know, it’s funny how I got to get to know this lady’s band. One of the band members got into a relationship with some big important man who had a ve~ry unhappy wife. So, I got hired to collect evidence on that piece of shit and his wife used it to ruin his life! Yeah, miss drummer got dragged in too, which is just what comes with that sort of situation… Normally, I’m careful about the damage control by communicating with the clients to not target the people involved (some people can get a bit murdery sometimes after all), but the woman was incredibly unreasonable about it. Still, I didn’t expect her to give it to the press. It blew up so much! I guess 86 is more popular than I gave them credit for!”

“Yumi-san, huh? Her case was really… Complicated. Don’t get me wrong! The adult industry is a valid career. It just gets to be tricky when it comes to relationships. The stigma that comes with it makes it so that most people involved keep it a secret from everyone, including their spouses. And as a result, I get dragged in, heheh!”

“Ah... But still, Yumi was really good at convincing me to back off. Sweet talking does come with her job… And as much as it sucked to tell my client that I couldn’t do the job, it was better to just tell them to talk with their partner.
