I was wondering why the characters weren’t with their teams in the ED but then I realized tHAT THEY’RE IN GROUPS BASED OFF THE TRAINING ROLES (also i’m pretty sure everyone and their mom has realized it but IM EXCITED ABOUT THIS) (also any unmatched names are based on this post, which actually mentioned the ed shots now that im looking at it again)

Here we have Lambert’s shadow:

with Yurino Mayu, Hoshitani, Nakakoji Haruma, Koumoto Tetsuya, and Sawatari (have I mentioned I love the idea of Hoshitani and Sawatari practicing together? because I do)

Orlando:

with Keiha Rei, Manjome Koji, Kuga, Kitahara, and Toraishi (i keep imagining Kitahara being like ‘hello toraishi’s friend/transportation’ [except in his weird tone/way of saying things] and kuga just being like ‘who are you (again)?’ and it’s glorious)

Percy:

with Nayuki, Isshiki Kanade, Kozai Yuhara, Ugawa, and Arisaka Kazuomi (i keep imagining Ugawa in this role and laughing)

Hardy:

with Todo Hajime, Chigara Wataru, Hachiya So, Inumine, and Tengenji (i’ll be honest this isn’t the role i expected tengenji to get. then again i wasn’t sure which role i’d put him in. probs orlando? but i wouldn’t have put Kuga as anything other than Orlando or maybe one of the shadows so idk)

and Alexis’ shadow:

with Ageha, Jumonji Ryosuke, Tatsumi, Tsukigami, and Nanjo (these roles kind of hit the nail on the head of surprise for me bc the i was not expecting tsukigami or tatsumi to be cast as alexis’ shadow bc the difficulty kind of went over my head, and i kept thinking about hoshitani and otori and how that kind of makes sense?? but then i thought about it more and realized pitting tsukigami, ageha, tatsumi, and nanjo together worked well. and that hoshitani isn’t really otori’s “shadow” - not in the same way Ageha is in Haruto’s shadow. i want them to make that distinction bw them. also another benefit is hopefully tsukigami and tatsumi character development? thatd be great thank)

I’m just gonna. leave this here. yeah this got long but it was fun watching the ed and being like wait a second -
