Not to be annoying, but it's still crazy to me how people will still write Silver off as a 'nothing' or boring character when he has some of the craziest lore any twst character has had so far.

How do you see a character that is the prince of a fallen kingdom and the biological son of Briar Valley's worst enemy (and murderer of Malleus's parents) spelled to sleep for 400 years, raised by fairies and possessing princess-like traits of beauty and friendship with animals, and someone who is one of the nicest people in NRC, as nothing.

How is that nothing to you 😭 Every character in twst genuinely has something really interesting going on, it's what I love most about the game

I made a few new wax seal stamps out of clay (like the ones I did for my worldbuilding stuff forever ago), this time just of random symbols that I thought might look good done in the style of painting over the raised part of the wax or etc. :0c Some of them aren't carved deep enough to really show up that well, but overall they worked okay for being clay lol

You might be right. I have no idea what the future has in store or if I'll come to regret it. But I've already stated my reasons. As it stands, with the year-long process we've already started and that we can't just flip on a dime overnight, my partner can't come and stay in Europe legally just like that. Legal immigration is not that easy in one way or the other. Also... Yeah, I've stated that before, but one shouldn't underestimate how shitty things have been getting in Europe for the past few years as well, and how the influence of the US (which is huge) is likely to make things worse. So again I'm not 100% sure whether that'd have been better anyway.

Also also... Ima be real, I've shared that before, but the time where I was separated from my partner due to the travel ban was the only time in my life where I had actual suicidal ideation. I don't want this to happen again. That's why I'm making moves so it doesn't, first and foremost.

So, I recently started rewatching Arcane S1 to fill the hole in my soul(lovejayvik tho, that completed me for like 10 minutes) after what ever was S2 and got a little carried away after reading some really good fics on this website.

I also finished watching Superstore and Bridgerton so its been a spiraling thanksgiving week,

Anyway, I know I said Matt Murdock was coming but I got really distracted... So here is a part of a draft scene in a viktorxreader smut fic set during his earlier academy years (and eventually into the series events? if I can manage that long) I wanna post soon.

I tried to shift my thigh away, looking up at him, surprised by his boldness - his hand following after. A flush of warmth settled in my stomach, mixed emotions bubbling up my throat as I struggled to swallow them back down. I could feel the intensity of his gaze as I quickly looked back to my paper. Viktor turned his hand over, tapping a gentle rhythm on the top of my thigh like he was playing piano. “If you just needed a little motivation,” he started, leaning close as if studying my notes. His taps slowly moved to drag up and down, callouses start to scrap the goose flesh building up as he made sure to linger along the hem of my skirt's slit. His intentions were unmistakable. “Then all you need to do is pay attention and write your notes.” I could only swallow hard, aware of the game we'd been playing over the past few months. The exchanged glances, light touches, the foot games, the playful teasing. It all began the day he took my pen, and since then, the tension had only grown, with neither of us trying to pull back, but rather escalate it. He kept tapping my thigh, expectantly waiting for my response or a sign. I glanced at Viktor again; his golden eyes sparkled with wanton glee, sending my heart racing as I thought of the possibilities and the ramifications of being caught. We rarely interacted outside this room, so I wondered what the harm could be... right?

I felt a little freaky and missed the old Vik.

Tell me what you think. Either way its being finished and written with hopefully at least 3 parts in total. I think it will be called 'The Long Game' or 'With Sugar & Spice"

I think what chronically upsets me about TotK is that. So much of it could have been so good with so little change.

I am into Zelda as a sacrificial, wondrous and silenced creature who must literally carry the blade of the hero as a wound inside her forehead and silently wait to be humanized again --and the injustice of a kingdom built on such a premice doomed to repeat itself, especially if the kingdom was founded on such dubious grounds to begin with. I am into Ganondorf forcing the present to reckon with the past through the most violent clash, forsaking everything that made him a person while sinking down into petty vindictiveness until no connection and no humanity remains, even though independance was what he was trying to protect in the first place. I am into Link as somebody trying to hold onto his most important connection to the world he once knew being used to force him into a conflict that has ultimately nothing to do with him (sure that's SS again but, it could have been explored even further). I am into Rauru as this self-important, self-made king who used his own association to godhood to live out a power fantasy that refuses to ever be acknowledge as such, maybe compounded by the fact he is one of the last of his species and feel, himself, the crushing weight of their fading heritage?

I don't know, the Tears of the Kingdom or something????

But, it all tragically depends on one crucial thing, which is to allow hylians to be wrong sometimes.

And it's wild to me how all of this incredible potential to comment on the series' history and the characters' role in it is just. Flattened into nothing, because Good must be Good and Evil must be Evil, and Hyrule must be righteous at literally every cost --even if it means nervously rewriting their own history through convoluted logic that rejects conflict and depth and vulnerability at every turn.

I draw a sketch to simply offer my own personal little headcanon and theory that Zenos was the only other descendant Emet got close to (knowing him probably unintentionally) besides Lucius.

Obviously we never see them interact directly, but several little worldbuilding tidbits do make me ponder about certain things, like the possibility lorewise that it could've been Emet that named Zenos, and the fact that they share certain habits and potentially interests.

It's headcanon time again :D

I love reading works that explore exactly how Mairon was seduced by Melkor. I enjoy digging up really ancient fanfics and feel thrilled when a new story appears. Whether it's just PWP with no purpose other than telling a sexy story, a poetic and romantic tale showing how they fall in love, or a slow-burn multi-chapter fanfic—I love it all. It seems like I could read these stories thousands of times and still enjoy them as much as the first time.

One detail often present in almost all of these stories is Melkor and Mairon meeting in secret, which is more than understandable. It’s also a good narrative choice because it adds tension and incorporates the "forbidden love" trope.

But I also have a headcanon that might not make much sense in terms of canon and could be considered AU. What if they didn’t need to hide from the other Ainur because it was during a time when Melkor was still somewhat sane? He might have already shown his destructive tendencies, but perhaps they weren’t as extreme yet. Maybe when the Valar noticed him spending time with one of the Maiar—just talking, being unusually calm, and even appearing charmed by Mairon, instead of suspicion, they might’ve felt hope for the first time in ages, thinking this could actually be a positive influence on him.

And then, well... the two of them left, and we all know what happened next.
