Time for a new toy!
Tube won by a pretty big landslide, so tomorrow there'll be a cardboard tube in the garden!
So that means..
(Note: I changed the paper option to pages just to make it less confusing now that paper bag is an option, it still attracts the same cat though!)
#UTDR#UTMV#Neko Sansume#Trying out the “new” indicator for this week to see how it goes#Thank you for the feedback on the poll about it I appreciate it c:#Hopefully some of these new guys can get picked!#Also Nothing cat will be an option again I promise! He's just taking a break so there's less competition between new cats#I'm gonna try and cycle them in a bit better from now on#Maybe no more than 2 new cats per poll if I can help it

Rain Draws Squirrelflight, Leafpool & Bramblestar a Few Times
Since these three won my poll on which protagonists I should draw, here they are!
They don't get as much art per character as Ashfur did, because that was one character and this is three. Trust me, this was faster and more do-able
So anyways, first up is the Squirrel herself!
I draw Squirrelpaw generally softer & bouncier looking than I draw Squirrelflight, because at this point in time she's just a kid. She has not yet witnessed the Horrors(tm)
Even when I was reading The New Prophecy for the first time as a kid, I always imagined Squirrelpaw/Squirrelflight as having little round ears. Maybe it was just the "Squirrel" prefix, but that trait has always stuck with me and I've always drawn her with small ears.
This isn't a trait unique to Squirrelflight with my designs though! In her family alone, Cloudtail, Alderheart, Lionblaze and Nutmeg also have small, rounded ears (Princess might also have them, but I haven't decided yet. I also haven't decided if any of Cloudtail or Lionblaze's kits have the rounded ears, but at least one probably does)
I wish that she had kept her telepathy thing with her sister, I honestly thought it was interesting. It's a shame that the Erins quickly ran out of uses for it and decided to pretend it never existed. This may or may not be why in my rewrite of Warriors that exists in my head (like many others in this fandom), the telepathy thing didn't stop existing as soon as it wasn't super useful the plot anymore.
Admittedly, she's always been my favorite of the cats who journeyed to the sun-drown place (though tbf, most of them didn't really get any proper development, and the other one was Brambleclaw. I do have a soft spot for Stormfur and Tawnypelt, though).
Also I... forgot to color Squirrelkit's mouth. Whoops
The lady with a somehow worse taste in men than her sister, Squirrelflight!
Please Squirrelflight, you could've done so much better than Bramblestar. You deserve so much better than Bramblestar.
That aside, Squirrelflight has been one of my favorites for a long time. I just think she's a fun and interesting character
I think I said basically all of the things I was going to say when I was talking about Squirrelpaw, tbh. Also, much like a lot of the fandom for some reason, I don't really remember much of what happened during OotS? I don't think Squilf was particularly relevant during that arc, but it's possible she was and I just genuinely do not remember.
Why is Omen of the Stars basically just a void in everyone's memory. What's going on there.
Anyways, those aren't the final designs for Lionkit, Hollykit & Jaykit in that little doodle. Those are just kind of rough concept designs for them, and when I eventually draw them they'll probably look different. Also this is tortie Hollyleaf propaganda
If Lionblaze can be golden (though I typically draw him as cream) when both of his parents are functionally black (brown = black when it comes to cats. Also Leafpool shouldn't be a brown tabby anyways, because her dad is red and her mom is cream, which is a dilute version of red. I should stop talking now, before I get too deep into rambling about cat genetics), then Hollyleaf can be a tortie. (Jayfeather's fine btw. Gray is a dilute version of black, and both of his parents carry dilute. Crowfeather from Ashfoot & Leafpool from Sandstorm)
Okay, I'll finally shut up about cat genetics now
If Squirrelstar doesn't happen, I will eat my hat. I will eat several hats.
I actually don't even know how old Squirrelflight is currently in the books. It doesn't help that the Erins are weird with ages and don't seem to know how cats work.
For my purposes, I choose to believe that the Clans have been at the lake for at least a decade, making Squilf at least 10 1/2 - 11 years old, depending on how old she was when the Clans left the forest territories. And putting her around that age would, in fact, make her a senior (for a house cat, at least. Real feral cats don't typically live that long, but tbf the clans have medicine and stuff, so their life expectancy might be longer than regular feral cats. But cats are considered seniors once they hit 10 years old)
Also all things considered, she's probably been stressed as hell for a while and experiencing the Horrors(tm). So she gets some gray on her muzzle from a combination of age and stress.
Honestly she deserves to go on a nice, relaxing vacation where she doesn't have to deal with the Erin's less than good writing choices and shitty treatment of female characters.
Anyways Squirrelstar's leader mark is her nose spot becoming star shaped, because I love it when leaders are depicted with some sort of star shaped marking. I eat it up every time.
I'll talk more about leader marks and how I do them at a later time, though.
Leafpaw! My sweet baby Leafpaw!
My version of Leafpool is big and very fluffy, and you can't stop me from drawing her that way
Right off the bat, you'll probably notice that her design has changed a bit from the original concept design that I posted, as she's now a tortie instead of a regular brown tabby. Admittedly, a big part of why she's a tortie now is that I just love torties & calicos haha
If anything, her name makes even more sense now, because the combination of brown and orange makes her look more like leaves during fall! :)
Why's Leaf a tortie but Squirrel isn't? Maybe Squirrelflight is a secret tortie, or maybe she's trans, who knows? (The actual answer is that I had already finished all the Squilf art when I randomly decided to have Leaf be a tortie, but I didn't want to go back and change Squilf's design because I love it)
I hope it's obvious that I love Leafpool a whole lot
Once again, Holly, Lion & Jay's designs in this are not their final designs and when I eventually get around to actually drawing them, they'll definitely have at least a few design changes.
Also it's really hard to draw tiny little newborn kittens on a small scale like this.
Anyways I've never actually read Leafpool's Wish, so I don't know if it proves or disproves what I'm about to say, but I think that with how much Leafpool loved her kits, I believe that she would've raised them herself if she had the ability to.
I also personally believe that if Squirrelflight hadn't decided to take in the kits, or if Leafpool had decided that she wanted to raise her kits instead of her sister doing it, Thunderclan wouldn't have done shit about it. I mean, she definitely wouldn't be as trusted as she was before, but I don't think she'd lose her job (at least at first) or be exiled. She was their only medicine cat, they literally couldn't do shit about it. Additionally, she's Firestar's daughter and also related to Sandstorm and Squirrelflight, who are both individually forces to be reckoned with.
She'd probably have to train an apprentice as soon as possible and then have to step down from her role as medicine cat, but I definitely don't think she'd be exiled or anything.
Leafpool but she sparkles
For anyone who didn't see my Ashfur post, some of the rules I have for Starclan designs is that Starclan cats are lighter in color and have sharper & more star shaped markings compared to when they were alive. They also have their appearances change over time in a way connected to their names, which is why Leafpool is starting to grow leaves out of her neck fluff.
Additionally, Starclan cats will typically have a sharper shape, to go with their sharper markings. You'll notice that while she has the sharper markings, Leafpool's fur is still soft and rounded.
I feel like Leafpool's whole thing with her trial would affect her Starclan appearance, but that's not really something that results from a trial, so her not becoming sharper in shape is the exception rather than the rule.
I didn't design a Dark Forest Leafpool, but I imagine that the changes she'd get there (because my DF cats have their appearances change based on their crimes) would be that she would still grow leaves out of her body, but she'd also grow feathers and would have particularly long and sharp claws that she wouldn't be able to sheath. Each of these things is representative of the "crime" that she was sentenced for (even though Spottedleaf, a Starclan cat, literally encouraged her to do that)
The leaves would specifically be holly leaves (representing, well... Hollyleaf), the feathers would be a mix of jay and crow (representing Jayfeather & Crowfeather) and the claws would represent Lionblaze (though for this one I went with something meant to represent his power instead of his name. With Leafpool being a medicine cat, I think it fits)
If Leafpool doesn't give Squirrelstar a life we riot
The bramble man
Honestly even as a kid Brambleclaw wasn't exactly my favorite character. I wasn't really old enough to really process how he sucks, honestly I just kind of remember thinking that he was boring. Maybe that's just the fact that I've always liked Squirrelflight & Leafpool way more than him, but I just didn't really care for his POV chapters during The New Prophecy
I did love the Hawkfrost scene, though. Because I wasn't on any warrior cats forums or anything as a kid, I didn't get spoiled about stuff like Hawkfrost's death or the Fire Scene (along with many other important scenes), so I think those scenes hit way harder for me.
When I was a kid reading Po3 for the first time, I genuinely didn't even suspect that Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw weren't Hollyleaf, Lionblaze & Jayfeather's biological parents. So you can probably imagine how shocked little elementary school me was
But anyways, yeah. While I didn't hate Brambleclaw as a kid, I just didn't really care about him.
On another note, my Brambleclaw/star design is pretty similar in shape to my Lionheart design (just with extra toes and not as big of a mane). Since Lionheart was Goldenflower's brother, I thought it would be interesting if while everyone else just saw Tigerclawstar in Bramble's appearance, Goldenflower didn't.
My Tawnypelt design has a more similar shape to Tigerclawstar, though.
Bramblestar!
Leader marks are usually an already existing marking that becomes star shaped (like how I made Squirrelstar's nose spot star shaped), but sometimes a new marking entirely will appear as the leader mark.
While I easily could've made one of the spots on the backs of his ears into a star shaped for his leader mark, I have plans relating to Bramblefake/The Imposter and Bramblestar's mark.
You'll see said plans in a moment, but what I will mention about it is that my Ashfur design has a broken heart shaped marking on his chest.
On an unrelated note, Bramblestar should have someone else name warriors for him because great Starclan is he bad at names.
There's totally nothing wrong with Bramblestar, what possibly could've made you think that
Anyways, a combination of the whole being possessed thing & Ashfur's broken heart marking have caused Bramblestar's leader mark to "break". It actually doesn't get fixed after he's no longer possessed, his leader mark stays that way.
The Imposter's fur is darker and droopier than regular Brambkestar. I don't have a real reason for the darker color (other than that it looks cool), but the fur is Ashfur's doing.
Another thing that is Ashfur's doing is the blue pupils. Bramblestar is supposed to have red pupils (due to him training in the Dark Forest in TNP), but being possessed kind of overrides that and so The Imposter's pupils are blue. They do turn red again after Bramblestar is no longer possessed, though.
Honestly, I still kind of wish that the theory that Bramblestar had rabies was canon. The possession was interesting, but I don't think rabies has even been mentioned in the series. Which is a bit surprising considering that it's basically a soap opera with cats, but then again the Erins sure do love taking the opportunity to ignore possible interesting new plots. Why do anything interesting when we could instead have a billion more badly written romances
But I will admit, it was interesting to have Ashfur come back to be awful again. I'm still mad that he got let into Starclan after trying to kill at least 4 people because he "loved too much" and that gave him more of an opportunity to pull this shit. They absolutely butchered Yellowfang after she died. Not really even recognizable as the same character as her living self.
I'm not doing more art for this post. I'm tired and I'm going to go get some sleep. Tomorrow I will get back to work on hypokit requests, but for now it is time to put away my art supplies and lay in bed.

Unsupervised Thoughts: 5k, M, hurt/comfort; Gavin is home sick when a serial rapist targeting android-human couples breaks in and assaults him. Fighting him off turns out to be the easy part in comparison to talking to his boyfriend about his feelings afterward ...
You’re My Whole World, Bro: 6k, E, college bros AU; Gavin finds Nines in his dorm room, stressed out and experiencing an unwanted ... issue. He agrees to lend a helping hand, mouth, and pussy, because what are bros for?
RK21 Jump Street: 3k, T, fluff & humor; Nines and Connor both get called into Captain Fowler’s office to determine which one of them is fucking Kamski’s brother. Unfortunately for Nines, Gavin is also the captain’s adopted son. And he is in so much trouble ...
Blood and Blown, ch 3: 15k!!, E, vampire AU / gangbang; Gavin goes to a tailoring appointment with Nines to get his measurements taken for a bespoke suit so he can be officially debuted as Nines’s pet and first lieutenant. And of course he needs to thank each of the tailor’s assistants, to show what a good, obedient pet he is ...
coming up next: (these fics haven’t been published yet, but they are next in line in my commissions and will be published one fic every Sunday)
Nothing Fucks with My Baby, ch 2: 4k, E, pure smut; A continuation of the fic on AO3, in which Nines roleplays as a companion model learning how to service his new owner Gavin <3
The Honeypot Mission: 10k, E, hurt/comfort; Nines isn’t jealous that Gavin has to seduce a mob boss to get incriminating evidence on him, but he is still very possessive of his boyfriend, especially when said criminal threatens him.
Babey Backstory: 5-10k, T, fluff & humor; Backstory for the Babey AU showing how Gavin mistook his new partner RK900 for the ~*companion model*~ he drunkenly tried to order, and how RK “I’m too pretty for this” 900 decided that yes, he is that companion model, yes he will live rent free in Gavin’s apartment wearing cute maid dresses with his whole pussy out, and no he will not be returning to the DPD. Die mad about it, Connor.
Nothing Fucks with My Baby, ch 3: 4k, E, pure smut; Another installment! In this one, Nines will get all dressed up in his pretty cat accessories and dress, and maybe he’ll even get to crawl over and look at how beautiful he is in the mirror while Gavin pets him <3
more in the works: (not drafted or planned yet, but still on my commission list)
Findom fic: Nines sugars for Gavin, who got rich off of his brother’s money and has a kink for letting beautiful bitchy ice queens spend it for him
Blood and Blown, ch 4: Nines gives his darling pet silver piercings, to remind Gavin that he will always own him (and care for him)
A/B/O fic: Nines loves his mate Gavin, and he most especially loves his mate’s heats, which he counts down to each month almost religiously
Partner Sharing: Nines is a benevolent dom who allows his human Gavin to suck off and get fucked by other humans sometimes, as a treat uwu. Hank is just here to get his dick sucked
my patreon updates once a week, every Sunday. each tier charges the amount listed per week
$1 tier: access to all of these fics as PDFs, plus polls and patron rewards
$2 tier: bonus content like deleted scenes, unpublished roughdrafts, and writing advice / plot outlines for my main series
$3 tier: 1k mini chapters each week for three WIPs: Exorcist AU (beast tamer Richard x incubus Gavin, E), Human Pet AU (Nines “sponsors” Gavin as his partner/owner in exchange for his services, E), and Pokemon AU (Detective Reed x FBI psychic profiler Nines, plus their pokemon fall in love too, T)
if you would like to read just a specific fic / WIP, don’t want to commit to a weekly charge, or just don’t like patreon, you can donate $3 to my kofi to get all of that week’s content ^^
large fics are broken up into 3-5k chapters, so Blood and Blown would cost more at 15k than RK21 Jump Street at 3k. please ask if you have any questions!

And that’s...the show.
What a clever way to get Lake off the train. On multiple levels! Not only was it clever in-character, but her escape came from her accepting her nature at long last--which was what would have brought her own number down to zero. That’s such an excellent way to end her journey--truly, she was the same as a passenger the whole time.
That was a good finale. Not the action-packed ending that season 1 got, but it didn’t need to be, really. It was different from Tulip’s journey in ways where a bigger action sequence than what we got wouldn’t have been appropriate. In fact, the fight with Sieve feels kind of like an afterthought--it wasn’t obviously, it tied off an important loose end and gave Alan Dracula something to do in the final two episodes, but it didn’t really feel like a proper focus of the episode.
Showing off One-One’s weird blue-and-orange morality system was really cool. Watching him actually get trapped in logic loops was fascinating, and I think he was used VERY well here.
Alan Dracula was a fun sideshow character, but often felt like he was just there for the animators and writers to play around with, rather than an essential part of the team like Atticus and One-One were in season 1.
Jesse was a good deuteragonist! Shut up, Tumblr spellcheck, that’s a word. Jesse’s journey was simple--come to terms with the fact that he and his friends were bullies, and it was very deftly done. The fact that the train reorders its cars and constructs them for individual passengers’ journeys makes it interesting that his final obstacle was confronting the Apex--the train even works other passengers into its plans. Which, ironically, makes the Apex more denizen than passenger. Anyways, Jesse’s journey was simple and well-handled, which is good because he wasn’t actually who the story was about.
That would be Lake. Mirror Tulip. Horseradish, as I’ve been tagging her since season 1. The Chrome Car was my second-favorite episode of season 1, due to excellent character drama, excellent horror, and excellent writing all around. I remember wishing very much that Lake had joined Tulip on her journey--clearly, the people writing the show wanted to keep telling her story, too, because we got a whole season of it. Lake’s journey of self-discovery and self-actualization was a really fascinating one. Watching her slowly come out of her prickly shell until she was finally ready to accept herself for who she was was an excellent journey. I really do think it’s SUCH good writing that she basically got her own number down to zero right when she got One-One to let her off the train.
Mace and Sieve turned out to be excellent villains, as well--Mace more than Sieve, really, but Mace got more focus and had more presence, and rightfully so. My favorite episode of the season focuses on him and Tulip, after all. What an excellent bastard.
All in all, a good season, but not quite as strong as the first one. That’s not a low bar to fail, though. Excellent work all around, and I’m delighted with the ending.
The final episode just wasn’t as strong an ending as season one’s though, and wasn’t the best episode in season 2 by a couple places. The Tape Car was creepier and focused on horror, which I liked a lot, and The Wasteland was just fantastic. It also has to compete with some VERY strong episodes in season 1--which, again, is not a low bar to fail. All in all, I’d place The Number Car at my new #3 for season 2, between The Lucky Cat Car (which was very funny, but didn’t have the emotional or dramatic stuff The Number Car did) and The Tape Car (which I’ve already covered), as well as my new #7 overall, between The Lucky Cat Car and The Cat’s Car, which did drama and horror VERY well.
That’s it for Infinity Train, at least until we maybe get a third season! In a couple days, I’m going to make a post on my Patreon asking for show suggestions for what to replace Infinity Train with in the main slots, and then we’ll have the poll to replace it a few days after that. I’ll keep you posted as to what the results of that are! In the meantime, up next is going to be this month’s Patron Picks--as usual, I’ll be doing Paranoia Agent, Baccano, and then A Place Further Than the Universe. After that, we’ll be getting back to She-Ra for a solid while--I’ll be starting Season 2, so stay tuned for that!
Streamwise, I streamed the first part of my blind playthrough of Transistor yesterday (which you can view here) and will be starting what I think will be the rest of the game shortly. RMA Markings, Liomemo and Huge Bug Fix Streak!
Liomemo!
Do you like the old-school "Match 2" game? If so you might enjoy our small and chill minigame called Liomemo! We find it a very nice time filler between hunts and something to practice your memory with ;D It is located in Games section in Explore. The game is pretty simple - Turn over pairs of matching cards. For the best score, use as few moves as possible, while not taking too much time. There are 10 levels of increasing difficulty. Your performance is based on time and amount of mistakes! After completing all levels you can submit your total score. There are leaderboards for daily and all-time scores. You can submit your score as many times per day as you wish if you want to beat your own score - there's no rewards right now, we didn't intend for them to be there for such a small chill game, but maybe you guys will have some nice suggestions for future?
RMA exclusive markings!
(RMA = Random Marking Applicator)
Just like we promised, and based on user votes in a poll, this is a first batch of RMA-exclusive markings! It means precisely: - Every time you use RMA you have small chance to get a marking that comes ONLY from Random Marking Applicators. - The chance is much bigger than the rare markings from RMA, but still pretty rare. - Markings can pass onto cubs. Markings are: - Nimravus: Gold, Henna, Onyx, Red, White - Quagga: Clay, Copal, Ginger, Henna, Onyx - Zebra: Clay, Copal, Ginger, Henna, Onyx, Red
To keep things fresh in a year, there will be more markings added in future, such as Okapi and many more!
Nimravus marking is inspired by extinct cat ancestors that are often depicted with bizarre rosettes. Figured it's a nice excuse to introduce a bi-colour spots! Note: Due to us having to launch news post early, the few Poses are still being updated with art for the markings. Please don't report them as missing or bugs until Sunday morning. Obviously as previously stated, Mutations are being updated separately.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks
Fixed - Lions that run away will no longer have their bases reset to Golden Solid genetics - and all currently borked lions had their genetics fixed. Fixed - Hippos not counting for quests. Fixed - Broken link in beetle death notifications. Fixed - Gender-specific Adult Mutations were wiped during a sex change - but the Falcon scry mutation info stayed. Fixed - Males showing up in Overview when looking for lionesses in heat. Fixed - Being able to nest same lioness multiple times. Fixed - Protective personality displaying energy error when trying to Preserve a lion at 0% energy. Fixed - Ochre Saltlicks not passing manes properly to entire litter. Fixed - Rocky Hills encounter awarding SB despite the SB cap. Fixed - GMO chicken not boosting mood and hunger via dropdown feeding. Fixed - Nurturing personality displaying wrong amount of max cubs on description. Fixed - Mozambique Mountains missing from WAS prize list. Fixed - Lab Frogged males trying to show male-only decors while being females. Fixed - Loner personality kings making pride members lose 10% mood instead of 5%. Fixed - May Personality Changer should be applicable to any male now. Fixed - Clan admins can now pay monthly renewal fees.
NEW - Added a new button - Suggestion Link - import lion to wardrobe from the page. This works ONLY for your own lions.
Art files Stuff from Xylax
Firstly, you should be able to see Cloudburst markings in wardrobe for all not mutated lions. Secondly, I am moving out, my lease is ending soon - and this means my days are very clogged. I do my best to catch up with files daily although slowly, but for now at least I can announce here that Tailless mutation is fully up to date. This also is a reason why Felis is not out yet - I do really want to launch it soon. If it doesn't happen on June 23rd, July 7th will be my other window. This is also why I didn't touch male poses yet - I'd rather start when I no longer have my head stuck in paperwork and packing. And to be honest, I would like to re-launch the polls for poses and add few new designs - hope you guys won't mind!
Remember that June event will end on June 30th at 11:59 pm and all your currency will be stored on your account until next year. Shad added new tags (I THINK?) but forgot to tell me where, so I will edit this later.. xD Testers, thank you VERY much for all your help this week
Raffle Lioness
Congrats King) Angavu (#29399)! You have won the last raffle lady! New lady with the Wilge River BG is up for impressing in Special Lioness area in Explore or in NEWS section under News Post List! ;D
Polls and Dev Notes
Looks like you guys (with SMASHING confidence) chose craftable marking/base applicators. Sure, gems work like that already but that'd be something entirely different and I need some brainstorming first :D thanks for letting us know your thoughts! So, new poll LINK - Small idea for stud fertility requirements - simple yes or no!

Everything Wrong With O.W.C.A. Files
Well, here we are. We tackled the finale but now it's time for the final official Phineas and Ferb Episode, also the only episode of OWCA Files. I can't believe it this far. But we'll cover that at the end, for now let's see what our final episode did wrong.
(No wins because there's less to say and I figured if I didn't parallel what they did for the finale on the finale, I may as well do it on the other finale)
1.Let's get this out of the way. If you didn't like this special, chances are you're pissed it all ended here.
2. Poorly Disguised Pilot.
3.A laughing Hyena, how original.
4.They just went on without Heinz? Jerks.
5.The art style is a bit different because...reasons.
6.Now that the show was not picked up, it's just one story. Sorry, Monogram.
Gotta sin off this opening song is AWESOME!
6. But them wasting the best part at the very start is a sin
7.”We'll explain it better when we get to the chorus” Saying the name of the episode a lot doesn't explain this much further.
8.Yep, Netflix splits it up causing sins, such as them telling us “Owca Files Part” right after we already saw the title.
9.These agents are not being that quiet these bad guys must be hard of hearing
10.Oh, and I'm late but this has a Season 4 production code and of course this skip numbers ...again.
11.”Opening action bit is just a training thing” cliché,.
12.Shouldn't Carl be at school like this said in LDOS?
13.”Lone wolf has to learn to work together” cliche
14.Wait, didn't we already do this in Sidetracked? Only there Lyla hardly screwed up while the other agents, especially Doof do so a lot and thus become more annoying?
15.Trainees has these yellow-ish fedoras but Doof didn't have one back in Agent Doof.
16. Speaking of, say hi to the exact same shtick from that episode.
17.Individually each score is good? Most of the trainees seem to suck even on their own in some parts.
18.”You're lucky you're legally considered an Ocealot” Exposition!
19.He's a baby in that picture but the flashback in Meap had him as being older.
20.They actually play the wah wah music.
21.”Background music turns out to actually be played in universe” cliché.
22.In Doof 101, the bugs were funny because of how out of place they are, and that seemed be the joke to make fun of spin offs. Here's an actual spin off with them actually being out of place.
23.I kinda sinned the bugs talking before but here's another reason it's a sin: They've done plenty of jokes about how Perry not talking leads to issues but sure, bugs can talk now.
24.They new about OWCA last years which contradicts a lot of the stuff they did know about in Doof 101, set after that and before this.
25.Wait, they have actual homes? Where do they live?
26.They survive this.
27.”Isn't it about time we talked about the elephant in the room?” Haw haw
28.”Okay, that was you” “Guilty” Fart Joke.
29.”Aw Nuts” Only Class A Humor with these bugs, I see.
30.They survive this.
31.Paul Rubens isn't Pee Wee Herman in this scene.
32.Can't wait for Monogram not knowing him to get a completely satisfying pay off.
33.Hands someone his screenplay while he is a currently a hologram that cannot be touched.
34.Good thing they were conveniently outside so they weren't captured and this whole plot can happen.
35.Monogram do you really this exact set up every time you contact Agent P?
36.Btw, the fact that they were robots makes it even dumber that no one noticed them.
37.They happen to be bear a box with his address on it right as they are told about all this.
38.They run off without Heinz because, jerks.
39.”Tell my wife I love her” Disney!
40.I'm actually confused, why do they run to the Flynn Fletcher house to begin with?
41.Now Doof knows where the boys live, be sure to tell him not to tell them about your little secret, k?
42.Doof doesn't hear that giant explosion.
43.Thank god this one of the very few times the whole family happens to be out.
44.Harry's right, you're not exactly being too sympathetic here.
45.”Is this your liar?” You've seen it before, at least once.
46.”That is not what you wore when we were in space” Even at the end, he's good at sins.
47.You said it yourself, it's a canyon that looks grand, you can't miss it.
48.”These guys are really annoying” You're one to talk...too much.
49.”Wait a second, [silly thing instead of serious thing]” Cliche,
50.Making formations fools agents because reason.
51.”Isn't that something we should have checked before crawling through all that duct work?” Yes.
52.The Part 1 Credits ,...are something we actually see in Part 2. Whoops
53.Netflix repeats the intro again.
54.Monogram takes tactics from Sonic the Hedgehog.
55.The bugs effect the story but it's in a bad way for the heroes, wah wah.
56.I sinned the whole cliché they are doing/repeating her with the screw but man they go full force in this scene with Doof.
57.”Who had the double espresso?' Nobody ordered anything specific.
58.Doof screwed up sure but come on, this is really dick-ish.
59.Sad Song
But it's by Kenny Loggins so...
59.Good song but the better 2015 cartoon appearance of Kenny was in Penn Zerro, sorry not sorry.
60.'Water is no longer coming out of my hole' Uh...
61.”Good guys sneak in only for it be a trap” cliché. One they did in AT2d.
62.Of course, they need Doof's help right after shunning him.
63.Yep, Karen's the dumb one.
64.The unpaid intern has an office?
65.The contractor thought Carl would like a bear that happens to be big enough for them to fit. Fine.
66.Dumb guy says something too smart for him cliché.
67.Olaf is talking about something being Frozen.
68.This is the 3rd time the bugs didn't die when they should. Serioisly.
69.Guys, Doof at least rescued you, stop being ungrateful!
70.Gee, wonder if Perry had a plan cooked up and isn't actually being a jerk.
71.Teamwork song.
72.Doof's voice had slowly being getting more off during season 4 and this episode is the worst offender, and this song really shows it.
73.”But (Shows doof's Butt). Boooooo
74.”You forgot the cat...they forgot you, you're the cat” Thanks for reminding us.
75.That's a very strong roof if the rocket thing can't burst through it.
76.”It opens from the outside sir' Wooooow.
77.You think a villain voice by Pe wee with a plan like this would be just a bit more memorable than he ended up being, compared to the other P&F Villains.
78.This back and forth with the bugs goes on too long.
79.Holy crud, he;s a robot! Let's dive into-oh wait, first the bug stuff. Sigh.
80.Okay,now one survives their HEAD being chopped off? The bugs are invincible!
81.Wait so was he a robot back then or did Monogram's school or whatever accept a flea that can talk for some reason?
82.This music here is either from, or very much, like the music in the start of Sidetracked. Because taking the plot wasn't enough.
83.Get it, they are using the training stuff to parallel the opening. Subtle.
84.Those are not Hipster Glasses.
85.Perry learns teamwork....by leaving his other team members to do things on their own. Not exactly Teamwork, per say.
86.How did he have time to write in that?
87.”Dumb character is smarter than they look' cliché. Even if it's kinda badass.
88.Don't worry, bugs in this special can't die so that fan will do nothing to him.
89.In the end, them learning to work together was a bit rushed, honestly. Besides, it's cool that they can work together but only freaking Karen seems to be able to hold her own, off all of them.
90.Violin from hammer space. (Also, given his size, he stole this from Mr Krabs)
91.And the final Doof scene in this series has him screwing up again. Sigh.
92.If the bugs survive that, I quit.
93.Now for peeks of adventures that look way cooler than the one we just saw.
94.Ferb is credited BEFORE Phineas. The boys shouldn't even be first at all.
95.Wait, that whole house blowing up thing wasn't addressed at all afer that? Doof doing this was just...forgiven?
96.How were they able to replace before they got back? Maybe this is way we got no explanation to where the family was, to avoid a plot hole but sorry, still a sin.
97.Hey wait, they didn't use this chance to address any of the unresolved plot lines from Season 4. And Vanessa was no one where to be seen despite getting that internship! And no Monty even though he was there during the last OWCA Crisis!
98.This never got picked up as a full series, even though I bet it would good now that we got the flawed set up out of the way.
EPISODE SIN TALLY: 98
SENTENCE: Leave you standing outside
A tad more than I expected, given I had only seen this once prior. More than SBTy, but less than all the others. Interesting. Yeah, I got more critical but this lended itself more to it. I do like it, just not as much as I wanted to and especially after the charm of seeing the show again after the final wore off. Eh.
But with that said, that's ALL 223 EPISODES (and a movie) SINNED! Holy crap, we did it. We sinned every episode of Phineas and Ferb. I honestly thought I'd give up early on and at many points, I took long breaks.
But I think the final being announced made me want to buckle down and do this. So I got a better schedule and...we did it. I'm quite proud of myself, I never finish projects this big. Thank you all for reading these, (all few of you, although this blog has more followers than I thought I'd have, especially after having to make a new one). It was quite the trip and even if I was never perfect, I had fun.
As for the future, soon I'll start a poll for my next big sins related project, and I have a couple more things to post here within the coming days/week such as a look every sin tally to sin which episodes had the most sins and such. Plus any other extra fun stuff I come up with. The important ones will come soon, I want it to be this week but who knows. Either way, this is the end of episode sin posts.
Goodbye until whatever I post here next.

Do You Have Tech Neck, or Nerd Neck? How to Fix Forward Head Posture
Nerd neck. Tech neck. Computer neck. Text neck. Forward head posture.
You might not be familiar with these terms, but you almost certainly know what they describe. Picture someone sitting on a bus or park bench looking at their phone. See in your mind’s eye how their head juts forward of their shoulders and droops down? That’s forward head posture.
Before we were all sheltering at home, you couldn’t go out without seeing it everywhere. In coffee shops, restaurants, public transportation, even walking down the street, person after person hunched over their device. That’s not a natural posture for humans, and it’s taking a toll on our collective health.
Nerd neck, tech neck, text neck, text neck, and computer neck are interchangeable terms that denote the pain and other symptoms that come from spending too much time in this position. It’s not clear exactly how prevalent it is, but a quick survey of my friends revealed that every single one had experienced neck, shoulder, or back pain that they attributed to spending too much time on their devices. When the Pew Research Center polled American adults last year, 28% said they’re online “almost constantly.” Various surveys estimate the average person spends 3 to 5 hours a day just on their phones. This doesn’t count hours in front of a computer, watching TV, or playing video games. Teens’ and college students’ usage is considerably higher.
All this is to say, tech neck is undoubtedly widespread. I’d bet it’s become even more prevalent in the past few months as people are spending more time at home with their devices.
The good news is that it’s not terribly hard to correct and prevent. A few simple changes, plus easy daily exercises, and you’ll be standing tall once more.
What Causes Tech Neck?
Many modern activities cause you to pull your head forward and/or look down:
Using cell phones, desktops, laptops, and tablets
Reading
Driving
Cycling
Playing video games
Your head weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 to 12 pounds (4.5 to 5.5 kg). Your spine is designed to hold that weight balanced and centered above your shoulders. As you jut your head forward and down, the load on your cervical spine (the vertebrae in your neck) increases. Every inch of forward head posture places an additional 10 pounds of force on the spine.1 When you look down at a 45-degree angle, your head exerts around 50 pounds of pressure on your cervical spine.
To compensate for the added weight, the muscles in your neck tighten, putting more pressure on the discs between your vertebrae. Eventually, they can bulge or rupture, and then you have much bigger problems.
Forward head posture also pulls your shoulders up and forward, rounding your shoulders and upper back. This leads to upper crossed syndrome, a condition that a doctor or physiotherapist can diagnose. With UCS, you end up with tight pectorals, suboccipitals, upper traps, and levator scapulae; and weak rhomboids, middle/lower traps, and neck flexors.2 In addition to pain, joint dysfunction, and even numbness, the misalignment can also cause your pelvis to tilt, affecting the entire posterior chain. While it all starts with the head and neck, forward head posture leads to all sorts of issues if not addressed.
Symptoms of Tech Neck
Symptoms of tech neck include:
Pain or tightness in the neck, shoulders, upper back, or chest
Weakness in the neck
Restricted movement through the neck or shoulders
Headaches
Jaw pain
Numbness or tingling in the upper arms
Do You Have Tech Neck?
If you have any degree of neck pain, especially if it’s worse after using your computer or phone, you probably have some degree of tech neck. Frankly, I’d venture to guess that almost everyone does nowadays.
Here are two easy tests you can do at home:
1) Have a friend take a picture of you from the side, standing in your normal, comfortable position. Look at where your ear is relative to your shoulder. It should be directly above the middle of your shoulder. For many people, the ear will be slightly—or considerably—in front of that midline. Also ask your friend to photograph you using your phone or computer.
2) Stand with your back to a wall, feet shoulder-width apart. Slightly pinch your shoulder blades together and try to get them to touch the wall without arching your back. Visualize lengthening your neck, reaching the crown of your head toward the ceiling. Then, try to reach the back of your head to the wall. Can it touch? Does it feel at all difficult or unnatural? Some people with severe forward neck posture and UCS won’t be able to bring their heads back at all.
How to Fix Forward Head Posture
To fix forward head posture, you must do two things: correct existing posture issues, and take steps to avoid putting yourself in the same position in the future.
Remedies for Tech Neck
First, the necessary disclaimer: If you’re having pain, the below exercises cause you any pain, or you have other head, neck, or shoulder problems, talk to your doctor or physical therapist before proceeding.
Here are four exercises you can do at home. Even though they seem simple, you may need time to work up to them depending on your current posture. It’s helpful to have someone watch you do these exercises to tell you if you are in the proper position. Have them take pictures so you can see how you look and to track your progress.
1. Chin tucks
Sit or stand straight—no slouching.
Gently tuck your chin so you’re looking straight ahead.
Move your head back without tipping your chin up. Imagine you have a ponytail in the middle-back of your head, and someone pulled it straight back.
Hold this position for 3 to 5 seconds. Repeat up to 10 times. Do 2 to 3 sets.
Variation: Place two fingers on your chin and apply gentle pressure as you pull back your head.
youtube
2. Isometric contraction
Once you feel what it’s like to move your head back using the chin tuck exercise, try this one.
Interlace your fingers.
Looking straight ahead, place your hands behind your head with your elbows pointing out to the sides.
Do the same chin tuck as above, then gently press your head back into your hands. Hold your hands steady to provide resistance. Hold this position for 3 to 5 seconds. Do 2 to 3 sets of 5 to 10 repetitions each
youtube
3. Wall sits
Stand with your back against a wall. Walk your feet out about 12 inches and slightly bend your knees. Don’t get too low. This isn’t a quad exercise.
Make sure your lower, mid, and upper back are all touching the wall—no arching.
Do the chin tuck exercise and, looking straight ahead, gently pull your head straight back toward the wall. The back of your head should touch, not the crown. If it doesn’t quite touch, hold it at your point of tension.
Hold for 2 to 3 minutes. Repeat a few times per day.
Variation: Do this exercise sitting on the floor with legs extended.
youtube
4. Wall angels
Stand with your back against a wall.
Move your head straight back so the middle-back of your head is touching the wall.
Bend your elbows and raise your arms to shoulder height. Place your arms flat against the wall with your thumbs pointed toward your ears. This position is also called “goalpost arms” or “cactus arms.”
Slowly raise and lower your arms like you’re doing jumping jacks, keeping your elbows bent and the back of your hands on the wall.
Do this for 30 seconds or until your arms feel fatigued.
youtube
Do these exercises throughout the day. It might take a few weeks or even months to remediate your tech neck. Stick with it. If you don’t see improvement, make an appointment with a chiropractor or physical therapist.
Avoiding Nerd Neck In the Future
The above exercises can help you fix existing misalignment and relieve pain. Just as importantly, you must address the root causes.
First things first, stop looking down to use your devices. That means:
Hold your phone in front of your face rather than in your lap. Yes, you’ll look nerdier doing that, but your neck will thank you.
Elevate your computer monitor so it is at eye level. Laptop users might want to invest in a separate keyboard so they can elevate their laptops and still type comfortably.
Use a desk chair that reclines 25 to 30 degrees and supports the back of your head.
Consider standing desks and ergonomic workstations designed for this issue.
Limit your screen time and take frequent breaks. You should be doing this anyway. Set alarms on your phone or use a Pomodoro app that reminds you to stand up and move at least every 30 minutes. This is the perfect time to do some neck exercises and stretches.
Keep your neck and shoulders mobile using exercises such as:
Yoga poses, like cat-cow, downward dog, and cobra
Shoulder rolls
Turn your head side to side, nod up and down, and do gentle neck circles
Other things that make neck pain worse are carrying heavy backpacks and sleeping on pillows that bend your neck too far.
Primal Movements
You know we’re doing something unnatural with our bodies when tech neck is even a thing. I know our phones and computers aren’t going anywhere, nor would I want them to. (Don’t underestimate the tremendous power of totally unplugging once in a while, though.) Since devices are here to stay, we should all work on finding ways to use them that don’t wreck our bodies.
With that in mind, I’ll end by putting in a plug for Primal movement practices. The Primal Essential Movements—push-ups, pull-ups, squats, and planks—offer full-body movements that promote strength, mobility, and flexibility.
Engaging in low-key aerobic exercises, especially walking, is great for overall health and increasing circulation. Moving through different archetypal rest postures throughout your workday challenges your body and prevents the imbalances and injuries that come from staying in the same position day in and day out. Being sedentary is a killer.
My hypothesis is that if everyone started incorporating these practices into their daily routine, maybe through microworkouts, tech neck would be much less prevalent. We’ve certainly got nothing to lose by trying.

Can I get liability insurance if I do a roll over?
I'm currently financing a vehicle and I simply can't afford it anymore. I'm considering doing a trade in for a cheaper car. I would be trading in my car which has a higher value than the car. So there will still be a finance going on but it would be a rollover. Will the other technically be paid off meaning that I'd be able to get liability on it? I just need to lower my payments because it's too much to handle right now so even some ways that I can lower my payments or insurance would be nice.
What does a person credit score have to do with rates on car insurance rates?
It should be against the law since everyone must carry car insurance. Also, what does my low credit score got to with my great driving record? Sounds like another reason to raise rates because most credit scores are low across the board. If someone pays their insurance company on time and has a good driving record should be their only concerns. Doesn't that make sense to raise car insurance rates to persons that had a hard time paying a bill, bit made all their car insurance payments on time. If there are others out there mad about this issue please help me do something about this robbing...""

Well, I just recently got my license and I wanted to buy a car, but my mom said that it's a bad idea and one of the reasons is because of how expensive insurance is. My friend told me her insurance- high point- is only 60 dollars a month. I'm not sure if that's true, because that sounds really really cheap. Does anyone have this or know approximately how much this auto insurance would be a month?""

How much car insurance do I need?
I'm a graduate student that has little saved due to paying my way through college and I drive a 1997 Dodge intrepid, of which kelly has a personal value of around 1,500 and a sale by used car dealer at around 3,000. I was curious to have some opinions as to how much car insurance one things I should get? I'm going to school in illinois, but my true home is in indiana so I could claim either state (not that I've seen it make much of a difference). From what I have found 100/300/50 is recommended, but I'm more looking as to whether collision or comprehensive is even worth it at this point due to my car's value? I (knock on wood) haven't been in an car accident while driving and I am a safe driver that follows within 5 of the posted speed limits (unless traffic is going 20+over).""
Where does the money go that everyone pays for car insurance?
If I pay $100 a month for car insurance for 20 years that's $24,000. I know 5 people in my family who pay approximately that so that's about $120,000. Car insurance - What's the car worth?
In the past when ever i've been asked by insurance companies what my car is worth i've always told them the amount that i think i could realisticly sell it for (what its worth? or so i thought) If i was to sell my car i would be able to get around 1200-1300, which is what i would say 'it's worth', HOWEVER, recently after putting my reg number into a price comparison website it automatically came up with a value of just 700. (My car has low milege, fsh and is in v good condition so is worth more than average) So my question is, if i tell them it's worth say 1250, take out their policy and then i write it off, what will they pay? The amount i told them or 'their' valuation. Also, am i paying a higher premium than i should because i'm telling them it's true value instead of their lower valuation? and if so, how many other people are doing this?""

How much would my insurance premium rise be? Car accident.?
On the interstate going home from work, it started raining just as I entered, really hard. Then I saw this white car in front of me, who stepped on his brakes, and as soon as I saw that, I stepped on mines. I couldn't swerve to the right where the gravel and grass were cause the white car was already headed that way , since it was raining my brakes didn't help and instead my car slid and his the back left corner of the white cars, and then I hitted a gray car from behind. My car is messed up really bad and cannot be repaired. When I gained enough sense to realized what just happened, there was 5 cars that had stopped, but mines was the only one badly damaged, unrepairable. Nobody was injured, and everyone's car was still drivable. The officer basically said it was my fault, cause I couldn't stop MY car from hitting the other two. What insurance companies will insure someone with a DUI on his record?
My boyfriend and I have our car and house insured under State Farm, but apparently they have a zero tolerance policy and have dropped him from the insurance. My agent was saying something about 're-evaluating' at some point in the future, but he was being so rude to me about it (I wasn't the offender) that I didn't really listen, and have no interest in staying with State Farm (at least with that agent). I assume if State Farm has a 'zero-tolerance policy,' they're not the only company that does, so what companies would insure us? Is Your Sales Funnel Earning $24,000 per Month Automatically?
New Post has been published on http://www.elimarketing.org/is-your-sales-funnel-earning-24000-per-month-automatically-2/
Is Your Sales Funnel Earning $24,000 per Month Automatically?
If not, then read on…
And by the way, this is an advanced variation of the Skype slots technique taught earlier. You might start with that one, and then graduate to this one when you’re ready.
If you think about what’s living in the ocean, you’ll realize there’s everything from so-small-you-can’t-see-it plankton, to whales the size of apartment buildings.
The same holds true for people on your lists and in your funnels.
There’s the freebie seekers and tire kickers who will never become customers. Yes, I suppose you could say they’re the plankton. And they get directly or indirectly eaten by most everything else in the sea.
Working your way up, you’ve got tiny fish, bigger fish, crazy big fish, dolphins, small whales and HUGE whales.
Which is to say, you’ve got buyers who will buy the $7 ebook, ones who purchase the $47 product, some who buy the $297 course, and even a few who will spend thousands of dollars if you let them.
But if you’re not providing these big spenders with the opportunity to spend big money, then YOU are missing out. Big time.
So let’s talk about trust. Someone joins your list and doesn’t know you from the hairball your cat threw up last week.
But they read your stuff, like it, and buy that $7 ebook.
Wow, they’re impressed and they want more. They purchase that $47 product of yours, devour it, and want more.
So they buy the $297 product and they’re still happy. In their minds and hearts, you have progressed all the way from stranger-danger to THE ALL-KNOWING EXPERT, and they are looking to you for the answers.
So what do they want? Depends on your niche, of course, but let’s say it’s online marketing and they want to build a five figure a month funnel.
Think about that – five figures a MONTH. Very doable, but they need help.
They’ve purchased your comprehensive, A-Z course that tells them exactly what to do every step of the way. For this privilege, they’ve paid $297, or $497, or whatever you charge for your very best course – the one that is worth FAR MORE than what you charge.
Now then, you have identified them as being either a very big fish, or perhaps a whale. So what do you do?
99 out of 100 marketers at this point will try to sell them an affiliate product. Big mistake.
Remember, in their eyes YOU are the expert. So why are you trying to sell them somebody else’s course? It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to them at this point. Maybe in a couple of months if they haven’t purchased anything else, THEN you sell them on someone else’s product. But right now YOU are what they want.
So here’s what you do – immediately after the sale of your big course, you offer them your personal one-on-one help in building their 5 figure a month sales funnel.
Once a week they can jump on Skype with you for an hour and ask you ANYTHING. You will hold their hand, keep them accountable and help them to build that funnel FAST.
And for this one-on-one help, you will charge $2,000 a month. Or more or less, depending on how comfortable you are. I know major marketers who charge $3,000 to $5,000 for this exact type of coaching.
Of course, this is only going to appeal to people who are truly serious and also have the money to invest in their future. These are the same folks who can afford to outsource most everything on their funnel, as well as pay for advertising to immediately begin making real money.
If they don’t take your offer right away, you make the offer again in a day, and again and again over the next couple of weeks.
But you only take 10 or so clients at one time, because hey, you are investing your time into this and you only have so much time in your day.
Things to know:
This is an offer you make in-house only. No big launches, no affiliates. It’s only for the big whales on your list who know you, trust you, and are serious about getting real results fast.
Yes, $2,000 or more sounds like a lot. But for the right kind of client, it’s an outstanding investment. For example, $2,000 a month to build a five figure a month income? It’s a no–brainer if they have the money.
Clients who take your offer will naturally get better results and FASTER results because of your coaching, compared with those who go at their own pace with your course.
You are keeping them on track, keeping them accountable, and helping them overcome any obstacles they might face. Plus when people invest that kind of money, they get serious about what they’re doing.
Because you already have a step-by-step course, everything is already laid out for them. Thus you won’t have to worry about teaching a lot of detail on the calls. Instead, you’re focused on helping them make serious progress fast.
If you’re not comfortable starting at $2,000, then pick your own number. Get testimonials from your clients, and increase your fees accordingly.
If you took a poll of online marketers who make more than $100,000 per year, I bet you’d find that at least 4 out of 5 paid for 4-figure a month coaching when they were learning. That’s why they make six figures now.
One last thing: If you have 10 clients each month paying you $2,000 a month, that means you are starting each month with $24,000 of income. And that’s in addition to the rest of your marketing efforts.
Nice!

Nice!

20 THOUGHTS: The Buck stops with Bucks
BACK to back draws for the Giants, two Sunday epics and St Kilda had a weekend training session Saturday night, just another typical round in this immensely fascinating season.
Yet everyone was talking Collingwood come Monday, like it or lump it when the Pies move on their coach its big news, and we’re rapidly approaching a crescendo.
But it’s all set up for two other Victorian teams who are surging as likely candidates to do a 2016 Bulldogs this year.
1. Let’s get Collingwood out of the way. Queen’s Birthday was disappointing but hypothetically it wasn’t all that bad at that point, the team was showing actual signs of emergence. Competitive in many games, could have been such a different story. It’s post the bye that really confirms the inevitable. Listless against Port Adelaide, no good at all against Hawthorn and then much the same against Essendon. Is it all Buckley’s fault, possibly not, has he shown many instances this year of coaching a side well, absolutely, but no matter whether you think he can coach well now, or eventually, or if there are other mitigating circumstances, the club needs a freshen up. To go on unchanged would be the long way round with no certainties. It’s been a long time since the 2011 season going 20-2 with such a young side. This will be a bottom four team crying out for a new start, it needs to, a club this big doesn’t do well languishing.
2. Now Richmond, the other big loser from the weekend in a different way. We knew it. This column gives the slightest sniff that maybe the Tigers deserve some credibility and whooshka, the half-time Auskick kids would have provided better competition than whatever that was. Bloody awful. So where are they? They’ll make the finals, wins in the bank are wins in the bank. But you could argue come September they’ll be the least fancied premiership contender, the two only teams below them in the eight have provided their last two losses.
3. So the Saints, and Demons for that matter too, look great. So much to get excited about. And their form looks trustworthy. Not to say they both play off in the big dance, this is all a fast rise and another step in the right direction. But St Kilda and Melbourne both have the weapons this year to win a final, in the least, and from there good luck. But as last year proved, winning form is good form, so winning a final from, say, 6th or 7th, can stack up. Get excited.
4. And as for the eight, it’s done. The Eagles are a disappointment and we’ll address them later, and unfortunately for the Dogs and Dons, not to discredit their credentials but we just like the eight teams in there now more. Ideally we’d swap out Richmond for the Bulldogs, they’d probably be more likely in the Spring, but what’s done is done.
5. Luke Hodge, four-time premiership player, two-time Norm Smith medallist, fair resume you have to concede. Also worth noting that in the two flags he won without taking home Norm, he actually polled medal votes on both occasions, so been properly influential in four winning Grand Finals, that’s beyond excellent. A walk up Hall of Famer as soon as he is allowed in.
6. Good to see Jason Johannisen re-sign this week. You always felt that given the offers were so compelling yet he was no better than 50-50 staying was always a strong possibility . His loyalty was ever-present and in the end saw him say no to big money elsewhere.
7. Quick one on the Hawks, their resurgence somewhat helping the embarrassment come the draft. Mind you, as it stands, the Saints still walk in with Picks 6 and 12, and no matter how you cut it, that’s way too much considering how much footy Jaeger O’Meara has played and how questionable his knee is going forward.
8. On the flip side, Tom Mitchell has been brilliant for only one first rounder. Averaging 35 a game, ranked first in the comp., seven tackles a game, ranked 10th. He has had 30 and five 12 times this season, which for an inside mid is supreme. Credit where credit’s due.
9. Geelong sit pretty in the top four, and a premiership fancy allegedly. But the percentage rule is always reliable, and despite their impressive win-loss, their 119% is not too dissimilar to the eighth place Sydney with 113%, who started the season 0-6. Come September, sure, home ground advantages and double chances matter, but I know who I’ll be rating higher by then.
10. As for the flag, the Crows might have endured their lull and will come back strong in the run home to the finals. And Port Adelaide are looking very sound, a super performance over in Perth to get into the top four. And as per the last thought, percentage is always a good indicator, only two teams have a % over 120 and it’s both SA teams, 139% and 132% respectively.
11. Two ones on luck – firstly GWS. Seven games under 10 points for four wins and two draws. They sit second on the ladder and will be a big threat deep in September, but had they lost all those close ones, they’d be sharing the same record as Hawthorn and Gold Coast right now.
12. Conversely, the Roos, sitting second last with four wins. However, they’ve lost all five games under a goal, and had they succeeded in all of them, they’d be percentage out of the top four. Crazy.
13. Just a diversion to television, the Front Bar may be the straw that breaks the Footy Show’s back. We expected Channel Seven’s offering to do ok, maybe peter off admirably. But after a first week showdown ratings victory, in the second week it actually increased its margin suggesting potential long-term success. If, and we won’t know yet, the audience votes with their remotes and sticks with the Front Bar, it’s curtains for one of the longest-running shows on Australian television.
14. Back to the footy, two coaches not really in the spotlight, and perhaps rightly so, but it’s worth the question – Adam Simpson and Luke Beveridge. One is still in the finals race and the other has runs on the board with last year’s cup. Both are safe in their positions but the way things are tracking both will be at the helm for disappointing years, most certainly putting some pressure on starting well next year, absolutely.
15. Looking at some of the trends in game, bloody hell the Crows have some room to improve staggeringly. They have only won five first terms, close to the worst in the league, yet sit atop the ladder. If they start well they are almost impossible to beat, having won 12 of 16 final terms.
16. On the flip side, we always hear about the ‘premiership quarter’ – the worst team in third terms, Collingwood. Only won four third quarters all year. In fact their trends are so reflective of where they’re at: start poorly, have really good second terms in response, showing promise and encouragement, then go and become the worst side in football after the main break, totally eradicating any good work they’ve done.
17. Onto some games this week, firstly Friday night, Saints vs. Bombers. The Dons aren’t without a show in this, the Saints will be coming down from a massive win and stranger things have happened. You’d really want to see St Kilda win and win well and show that they can become consistent. Essendon, are a good side and will test. Should be a cracker.
18. Geelong takes on Hawthorn on Saturday and gee, find some loose change for the Hawks. They’ve found a groove, heck, it saw them defeat the ladder-leading Crows in Adelaide, and given how much this column rates the Cats, it will all be too fitting if the upset takes place. Gather all your loose change.
19. What are we calling the Sydney derby? Battle of the Bridge or something? Who knows. Either way, a stellar matchup up there Saturday, the prize for the winner is huge. Giants win, they stifle their rival and really validate they are legit premiership fancies this year. But if the Swans can roll on and take another big scalp, they are coming with a bullet, a serious threat to go one better this year most definitely.
20. And a belter up in the NT, the Darwin Demons taking on Adelaide. Similar to the Giants-Swans game, the winner gets so much. I don’t think the loser of this game loses out terribly, both teams have done enough they can rebound, but if Melbourne win they can seriously aim for top four where the world becomes their oyster. For the Crows, a big win against an up and coming side like the Dees, and the rest of the competition has their work cut out trying to stop this year’s flag heading to West Lakes.

These Statistics On Our Cellphone Addiction Are Terrifying And More Alarming Than Ever
Ah, the cell phone, our trusty friend. It helps us pretend we’re busy when we don’t want to talk to the person next to us. It helps us keep connected to an endless stream of cat videos. We may also have a tendency to stare at it, with a glazed expression, endlessly waiting for a message that will never arrive. I jest, but the truth is that we have an increasingly unhealthy fixation to our smartphones, recent surveys suggest.
The following statistics show an alarming increase in cell phone addiction, with participants admitting to becoming increasingly disconnected with their actual surroundings in the name of ‘data connectivity’.
The average person checks a cell phone is 110 times a day
Human beings are naturally fidgety creatures. We touch our faces a crazy amount of times per day. We doodle to distraction, and we love gadgets. The ultimate modern person’s form of fidgeting though, is looking at their smartphones. Why did I just unlock my phone? Was I going to look at Twitter? Oh, I can’t remember, let’s look anyway!
Recent research, collected by Android app Locket, monitored how many times its 150,000 users checked their phone in a day. They found that users did this a staggering 110 times a day,[1] whilst another study carried out by Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers found the average user checks their phone nearer to 150 times per day. That’s a lot of time that could be spent honing a discipline. A musical instrument could be a great way to channel that nervous fidgety energy, whilst reading helps us to become more focused.[2]
1 in 5 people aged 18-34 have used their smartphones during sex
Oh, the modern world! For every incredible benefit that technology brings us, there seems to be an equally compelling argument that it dulls us to distraction. In a survey carried out by Harris Interactive for ID verification startup Jumio, this surprising statistic came to light. Nearly 20 percent of young adult smartphone owners between the ages of 18 and 34 in the U.S. have said they use their smartphones during sex.[3]
No wonder new age positivity mind-set literature is turning into such a strong subculture. We need someone fighting the present tense’s corner when so many people seem so inclined to escape the moment they’re in. If someone can’t value the person they’re with during such an intimate act, what are the chances they place little value on other things that make their life what it is? Maybe it’s time to re-connect with the little things in life that make us happy.
77% of parents and teens have argued about smartphone usage
A less surprising statistic perhaps, but no less worrying. According to a poll carried out by Common Sense Media, 50% of teens feel they have cell phone addiction, and the majority have argued with their parents over device usage.[4]
In an example of the sacrifices we’ll make to stay connected, Terry Greenwald, a father of three and custodian at a high school in Homer, Alaska, told CNN that the hallways where he works are often half-filled with “teenage zombies who are glued to their phones.”
50% of people feel uneasy when they leave phones at home
Is increased connectivity worth it if losing a device starts to feel like we’re losing control of our lives? This is already becoming a problem. A 2010 study by the UK Post Office found that nearly 53 percent of mobile phone users in Britain become anxious when they can’t use their devices. The reason was primarily that they feared missing calls or messages.
Nomophobia. Remember the word.[5] The way things are going it’ll probably be in much more common usage in years to come.
Sadly, it’s important to note that missing a message doesn’t mean the end of the world. Some people in the tech industry take measures to drive this home. Steve Hilton, head of a Silicon Valley tech startup doesn’t use a phone.[6] Other bigwig CEO’s use flip phones as they feel the reduced functionality helps them to disconnect.[7]
26% of car accidents are caused by phone usage
Sadly, cell phone addiction can also lead to loss of life if a person is so attached to their phone that they use it recklessly. A recent NSC report has shown that 1 in 4 car accidents are caused by cell phone usage.[8] The NSC also feel that the statistics may be higher as not all drivers are willing to admit using their smartphones whilst driving.
The findings also revealed the surprising statistic that only 5% of smartphone related crashes occur because the driver is texting. The majority occur whilst a driver is distracted talking on hands-free. There’s a very obvious solution to this. Unless it’s an emergency, the conversation can most likely wait.
