Just having some Sharkcard thoughts:

Beverly the dancer. A graceful poise that has been practiced and perfected and neatly drilled into her since she started her professional dance lessons at three years old. She has undeniable skill evident in every turn and every pirouette. She dances like she holds ocean waves inside her, powerful, constant, gleaming with unnatural precision. Her dancing is careful and will always stay inside the lines. Something her mother and countless instructors drilled into her.

Ace, also the dancer. Her body moving as it is barely able to contain her free spirit. Her turns and spins bursting at the seams with life, grit, zest, and spunk. She dances like there is fire beneath her feet, never stopping, her moves choppy and vivacious. Her dancing is loud and begs you to watch like a growling lion or a blazing wildfire. Saturday nights spent at the Tulsa Juke Joint taught Ace how to dance wild and unrestrained.

When Ely steps into the kitchen, she's expecting someone to be there. The vampires normally wait for her for breakfast, and Nate usually feeds Mango while Ely's in the shower.

Today, though, there's someone she isn't expecting at the table.

Mango's still there, still half hunched over her food plate, but she keeps shooting looks towards the table until Ely garners her attention and she trots over, giving a plaintive mew up to her.

Rebecca glances up from the manilla folder at the sound, pressing a small, hesitant smile on her face.

"Good morning," she greets.

Ely stares at her in silence for a moment longer, before stepping forward towards the island so she can get started on her breakfast.

"I wasn't expecting you to be here."

"The rest of the Unit is on an extra patrol," Rebecca states. "I didn't think you'd appreciate being left completely alone."

"Like that's ever been an issue for you before," Ely huffs, shaking her head.

"Elyse—"

"Save it; I'll eat in the dining room once my food's done to not ruin your work atmosphere."

An uncomfortable silence falls over them at that. Mango keeps skittering to grab a bite of food before racing back to Ely's side, out of Rebecca's sight.

She had thought the cat would be more comfortable around her considering everyone else she lives with is fine with Rebecca, but Mango was Ely's girl through and through.

As the smell of fresh coffee fills the room and Ely's knife slices through the strawberries she's washed, she pauses, considering, before clearing her throat lightly.

Rebecca chances a glance up.

"Are you aware your granddaughter has twenty-seven thousand followers on Instagram?"

"My—what?"

You know when you read back your writing and you're like man, this is actually good???

Editing the next bit of Garak in Vision Awry and I remember that scene as being fiendishly difficult to get through, at times every word feeling like a chore.

And now I'm like -- but this feels like Garak and Julian. it flows! It makes sense as a conversation! And yeah, there's no point to this really but I am just very excited to share it and hope other people might feel the same and just like... feelingsssss.

Also like every time I write Garak&Bashir I'm like "nope not again for a while this is too hard, not for me" and then reading it back I'm like "but i love them though this is so fun" and so... idk. i'm just rambling. But this has made me think I might actually try and continue that second Garashir prompt I have sitting in my drafts rather than carrying out my plan to post it as-is unfinished as a "no i'm sorry this isn't for me but i did try" thing...

So I started rewatching Star Wars Rebels a few weeks ago and oh boy I think my dormant Star Wars hyperfixation is no longer dormant but instead coming back full force - AND NOW I WANT TO SEE THESE DORKS GETTING KISSES GODDAMMIT

These are just the first few that came to my mind but there's more (it's just that it's half past 5am and my brain is soup), but I'd love to see some self-inserts (or OCs) being shipped with them! And even if you don't like Imperials you could also just make them defect with/for you😌

I wasn't quite sure about including Kallus (bottom left) and Thrawn (bottom right) in this list, because 1. they're not nearly as underrated as the others (although I haven't really seen them around in the self ship community), and 2. I also very much ship Kallus with Zeb (I'm rarely crazy about canon x canon pairings but those two are really cute), and well Thrawn is also on my own f/o list anyway xD (I usually don't mind sharing though)

Bonus: Admiral Yularen, however I prefer his look in The Clone Wars, but he makes an appearance in Rebels too!

(I really want to rewatch TCW as well once I'm finished with Rebels it's always been such a joy to watch when I was younger😭 I hope I can get my sister to watch it together with me like we used to)
