Short short short fic:
The old men avatar trying to get anything done in pairs/groups~!warning cursing!
Jonah: Hey… Peter could you get me some tea?
Peter: No, you haven’t won a bet
Jonah*Had just been trying to relax after Brutal pipe murder*: OH FOR FUCKS SAKE
-
Peter: Simon, I really don’t want to have to do the institutes party, can you host it?
Simon(drinking a blue coffee): No, you haven’t won a bet against me to allow that-
Peter(cringing inside before phasing to the prison): Elias- if I let you out this one time..:
Jonah(laying down on the metal bench looking at his nails): Fuck off, I’m not hosting an institute party just because your sorry ass is Asocial
-
Simon: So, Jonah… I was thinking- what if I tried making one of your employees-
Jonah(putting his pointer finger up): I’m going to stop you right there and say you don’t have a win on me.
-
Continuation of Peter trying to get somebody to host the party~
Peter: Rayner… could you possibly-
Maxwell: Peter. I Will say this one time and one time only, I do not associate with the institute outside of Jonah- and I do not place bets like you dumb fucks.
Peter(giving his best 😀 smile): Thank you for the insight, Rayner.
-
Jonah: Simon, is it true you only really have two avatars under the vast?
Simon(trying to slip away): Jonah, you know I do not answer questions for the watcher.
Jonah(smirking): ah, well, yes. I know that. But I was just wondering if you’d like to tell me. Not the watcher.
Simon(stopping his escape to give the 😃 smile): You know Jonah- you are not the least bit as clever as you try to come off as… maybe a few more centuries will get you there.
Jonah(grasping at straws): Simon… Please.
Simon: How about a bet?
Jonah(sighing-screaming internally): On what exactly, Simon?
Simon(tapping his cane against the ground as he thinks): How about… how much time it will take for Peter to come how with the idea that he doesn’t have to do the institute party?
Jonah(nodding): Sounds fair… How long do you think?
Simon: About a week.
Jonah(laughing): We’ll see about that…
Simon(realizing he’s just made the dumbest bet of his life with the best manipulator he knows): Oh- wait- no- Jonah come back!
-
Everyone respectively drinking their coffee- Simon’s blue one, Peter’s black coffee(with one pump of vanilla and nothing else), Jonah’s Carmel macchiato, and Maxwell’s seasonal black as night coffee-
Maxwell: So- Jonah- how are things with the new Archivist?
Jonah(seeming quizzical): Since when do you- ah- … How’s your little minuscule and ultimately unsuccessful black hole doing?
Maxwell(suddenly angry): Oh well since you asked so kindly-
Simon(leaning over to talk to Peter while Jonah and Maxwell bicker): When you do think Maxwell will first bring up your great great great great grandpa?
Peter(going rigid at the thought of Mordechai): I’m not making a stupid bet with you, Simon.
Simon(tutting, before giving the 😃 smile): Seems I was right anyways.
Maxwell(having set down his coffee minutes ago): Are you going to fuck them like you fuck every avatar and worker in your inner circle?
Jonah(giving a 😀 but one eye-twitching smile): Edmund, do you want to visit the end? Or do you want me to squeeze the information out of you like twisting out a soaked necktie?
-
Annabelle(got invited while Elias was in prison): This seems like an awfully boring event.
Maxwell(sitting as far back in his seat as possible sipping his black coffee that goes cold every time and deadpan staring at her like she’s committed a capital offense): It’s actually quite eventful when Jonah is here.
Simon (reading the same paper that Gertrude had posted to stop Peter’s ritual in physical format as he does every-time the meet for coffee): Why- it is peculiar that you are acting so upset now that Jonah is gone- or is that your hormones from the new body?
Maxwell(looking like a goth but not the good kind- the 12 y/o kind): Oh shut up!
-
Simon(on his way over to the institute but stopping at the prison to say hi): Don’t you look ravishing.
Jonah, bored to death, sitting upside down for the first time in months): Fuck off. What do you want?
Simon(smirking and looking him over before sighing): We both know that Peter is going to fail.
Jonah(nodding and sitting correctly): Yes.
Simon: But we don’t know how badly he’ll fail.
Jonah(stopping for a second): What are you suggesting?
Simon(giving a cheery laugh): I suggest the good captain will die.
Jonah(thinking it over before nodding and leaning back): Most likely.
Simon: The question is when?
Jonah: Placing a bet, are we?
Simon(nodding like a kid on Cotten candy): Exactly, I estimate after the worlds changed.
Jonah(shaking his head): You’re saying he’d give himself over to the end?
Simon: Precisely.
Jonah: Well- I’m sure you’re wrong and Jon will kill him, good luck then.

In honor of my nth W359 relisten, here is the breakdown of how I accidentally independently headcanoned most of the characters as Catholic:
Eiffel: He was born in Boston, where Catholics are the largest religious population. I've been told the Lord's Prayer he mumbles is the Protestant version, but that prayer is used a lot in Alcoholics Anonymous, which is probably where he's remembering it from. Perhaps his issues with authority stem in part from having to go to Catholic school.
Minkowski: Her father's surname is Jewish, while her mother is French, where the dominant religion is Catholicism. I envision her as growing up in a mixed household (which I believe is also the case for her VA) but she leans harder into celebrating Christian holidays on the station as part of her attempt to assimilate into white bread apple pie Americanism. After the events of the show I like to think she reconnects more with her Jewish heritage, especially as she could relate to the theme of so many holidays being 'they tried to kill us, they failed, let's eat'.
Hera: Hera quotes St. Augustine, quotes the Bible to Maxwell in Memoria, and says "amen" during the funeral despite never being exposed to religious services. Conclusion? She had Catholicism installed in her to nerf her. Why? Because Pryce is also Catholic. More on that later.
Lovelace: I hc Lovelace as having a Puerto Rican mom. Puerto Rico is heavily Catholic. (Her dad is probably Protestant, but when it came to parents from different denominations choosing which to raise their kid(s) in, my mom won for us, so I shall assume her mom won as well. It's possible she also went to a private Catholic school. She may not have considered herself very religious at the start of her mission, but I think about her leaning on hopes of an afterlife when her crewmates start dying as a scrap of comfort.... only to be forced to contemplate the state of her soul later.
Cutter: It was at this point that I realized I was hcing a whole bunch of the characters as Catholic and decided to lean into it. Luckily for me, he's from Carmel-by-the-sea, which is in fact fairly Catholic due to the presence of a historic Catholic mission. (Did I know this because of a probably Buffy-inspired YA paranormal series I read in high school? Maybe.)
Pryce: Again, was leaning into it at this point, but also it makes sense. She was raised in an orphanage, and a lot of those institutions were run by religious organizations. How many of her problems can be traced back to being raised by nuns. She quotes the Bible to position herself as divine. Why Catholicism specifically? The cannibalism. It's all coming together.
Non-Catholics (Hilbert + the Midwestern Corporate Hit Squad):
Hilbert: Grew up in the USSR. Likely not religious.
Maxwell: Her father was a pastor in Montana, where the biggest Christian denomination is Evangelical. Likely ex-Evangelical. Sorry that happened to you Alana.
Jacobi: His name is Jewish, which is supported by his disdain for office holiday parties and ordering Chinese food on Christmas. Catholics are the dominant religious group in Milwaukee though so he gets to the station and goes ah not this shit again.
Kepler: I do not care about him and thus have not spent much time thinking about him, but probably not religious. When he is trying to turn everyone against Lovelace, he doesn't appeal to religious language while dehumanizing her. There are quite a lot of Catholics in Chicago though so he is also used to them.
What's funny about this is I'm not even Catholic. I did not start out doing this on purpose. Somehow Wolf 359 is a more Catholic podcast than Greater Boston, set in Boston, where the character who talks about religion the most is a Protestant.

Lance Leopard remembered
Tumblr media
Marcus Pierce, better known as Lance Leopard, died along with his mother during a house fire in the Brisbane suburb of Woodridge on June 16.
Lance Leopard, an icon of Sydney’s gay scene, first rose to prominence as the keyboardist for the New Romantics group the MegaMen in Brisbane where they supported acts including The Reels and Deckchairs Overboard, and performed on television as part of the Brisbane Telethon in 1983.
Leopard’s mother, Carmel Pierce, was a well-known figure in the Brisbane gay scene of the 80s and she and Lance’s straight brother Michael supported Lance at gigs, never shy about their immense pride in his talent.
He later relocated to Sydney, where he worked as a stylist and where his gossip columns in publications throughout the 90s including On The Street, Sydney Star Observer and Capital Q became must reads in the Sydney gay scene.
News of Lance’s passing in June led to an outpouring of memories of him online with many sharing their Leopard encounters.
“I remember the endless days of rehearsal when we were putting the MegaMen together at Marilyn’s Cocktail Bar,” Ken Maxwell recalled.
“He was so patient with the other two who were always wanting to change and twist things a little. He just stood behind his keyboards and waited for them to get on with it. A very wonderful man offstage too.”
youtube
“When I started writing my wine column for Capital Q Weekly I was so nervous to meet him because he was so revered on the gay scene,” Drew Lambert remembered.
“I needn’t have been. He was so warm and welcoming. I was writing the column that appealed to his favourite pastime.
“He loved the fact that I was his passport for free wine samples after I took my taste. I gave him hundreds of bottles over the years!
“I was so jealous that his column took a mere twenty minutes to write and mine would sometimes take six hours! His gossip columns were absolute perfection. A joy to read.”
“I’ll never forget the first time I saw him swan into The Exchange hotel in about 1986, a mane of black dreadlocks,” Chris Munro remembered.
“He was so clever and witty. When Diana died and everyone was utterly miserable he posted his column with the headline, ‘Don’t worry we still have this one!’ and a big picture of Diana Ross.”
“He was a darling man to me at all times,” friend Rebecca Mullins recalled.
“And I am so sad that he and his dear mum have gone this way. A truly iconic presence in our gay world.”
The MegaMen reunited to play Brisbane Powerhouse in 2014 and in more recent years Leopard was a special guest at DJ Maynard’s Love Shack and Madd Club parties at Red Bar in Glebe.
However he moved back to Brisbane four years ago to care for his elderly mother who had become wheelchair dependent.
“All of our lives are just that little bit less glamorous today,” Maynard wrote after learning of his friend’s death.
“Some travel in style, some travel discreetly. Lance travelled both ways through the back alleys and laneways of Darlinghurst.
“He was a sharp dresser with an even sharper tongue. Some even today are still feeling the sting from one of his very blunt show reviews.
“Lance touched many people through his life and work, but mainly the hot ones. As he said, ‘I don’t believe in the afterlife, but I’ve always believed with all my soul in the afterparty.’ Your name is on the door Lance.”
-DJ Maynard recorded a series of podcasts with Lance in 2019 that you can listen to at www.maynard.com.au.

Brett Allen Johnson’s “Southwestern Passage.”
Opening on October 9th, 2021 at Maxwell Alexander Gallery in Los Angeles, California is artist Brett Allen Johnson’s solo exhibition, “Southwestern Passage.”
From the gallery:
“Brett Allen Johnson’s first fascination with the West stemmed from childhood visits to northern Arizona to visit family in Sedona.  These trips would take the Johnson family from Northern Utah through iconic western landscapes like Mt. Carmel, Kanab, Page, and Vermilion cliffs.  Johnson’s Grandmother, a watercolorist, would take her grandkids on outdoor adventures to explore and paint scenes of the surrounding landscape.  These early experiences would ultimately lead to the artist's journey into recreating the desert on his own canvases.
Johnson, a Utah native, often travels throughout the Southwest for inspiration.  Hence the title for his latest and largest solo exhibition, “Southwestern Passage,” opening on October 9, 2021.  All 15 paintings in Southwestern Passage will be sold by draw box on October 16th.  We expect to have the full preview available on our website by the middle of next week.Johnson’s previous exhibition in 2020 was a sold out event, even in the midst of a worldwide pandemic.  And we are happy to announce that this year at the 2021 Eiteljorg Museum’s Quest for the West exhibition, Johnson was awarded the prestigious Victor Higgins award for best body of work.  Earlier this year the artist also showed for the first time at the Masters of the American West exhibition at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles.
For Johnson’s latest exhibition, Southwestern Passage, some figures do appear in paintings, but the main focus here is the landscape of the Southwest.  Johnson continues to evolve and experiment with his painting style and subject matter.  He expressed that he doesn’t want to get stuck painting the same thing -- this is evident in one of the largest works in the exhibition titled, “High Above the Rio” Oil 31”x50.” Intrigued by the curtain at this daughter’s dance recital, Johnson thought of the idea to partially cover the landscape with a Southwestern staple, a Native weaving.
“I like to create a dynamic tension between the foreground and the background, getting a peek through to what’s in the distance.”  After sitting with the completed painting for some time Johnson came to a realization that “It was a personal expression of my feeling that the intimate relationship to the land of the west was lost when settlers filled it, that for modern man, a special part of it will forever remain unknowable, behind the curtain.”
While the artist credits the greats like E.L Blumenschein and Victor Higgins, he states that Dixon gave him a bit of a roadmap to make it possible to portray the feelings he loved in a painting.  And now Johnson has begun the process of departing from those before him to carve his own path.
Perhaps some of the most recognizable paintings by Johnson are those of various churches that can be found throughout New Mexico, see “High Mountains of Taos.”  “Paradise Valley '' shows off the artist's ability to abstract nature with a simplified and simultaneously exaggerated landscape.  “Painted Hills” and “Desert Rainbow” show the vast and varied colors caused by mineral deposits in nature over hundreds or even thousands of years.
The approach of all the works stem from a modern aesthetic.  This style of simplification is in direct contrast to what the Western genre saw in the 80s and 90s, but highlights have always been there -- Mell, Schenck, Moyers, and more recently, Hagege.  The art world craves an artist that paints what they see, not necessarily what you would see.  We celebrate artists who create, rather than copy a photo.  In Southwestern Passage, Johnson is continuing his journey of painting what he feels and sees in his mind’s eye.  Abstraction in nature is as natural as the sand in the desert, though very few are able to capture the feeling of nature like Johnson does.”

How do your main characters take their coffee?
Hello, Sarah! Here's some of my characters coffee orders:
Louis | James | Nicholas: For some reason, first born sons enjoy their coffee strong and dark. All three drink their coffee black, with Nick enjoying Americanos and the rare Cappuccino if he's willing to add cream.
Irene: She enjoys a Café au lait at breakfast. She also likes flat whites. Sometimes she'll call Tatiana and Shelby for a cup, particularly when she wants something out of them.
Jaqueline: Jack and her daughters enjoy iced coffees in particular. A plain cold brew for Jack, while Mia and Katheryn perfer iced vanilla lattes. Recently they've been trying out chai lattes with soy and oat milks, they're trying to cut back on the caffine and diary.
Jean: Anything with lots of whipped cream, sugar, and syrup. She loves a Pumpkin Spice Latte form Starbucks also things that have a chocolate of carmel flavouring.
Kamryn: Kam loves salted caramel mochas, but she's had to stop getting them as Margaux has taken to begging for a sip whenever she notices the Starbucks cup.
Mal McClelland: Folgers or Maxwell House, which he hates, but he is sure to be seen drinking/buying so as to come across as an "Everyman", working-class politican. More faux popularism bs from him, even the current political issues going on in my story (more on that later).
Phillip: He prefers his coffee to be dumped down the sewage drain. He hates coffee.

Series Summary: It’s Halloween! Bastien and Rinda are settling into their relationship, and Queen Riley enlists Rinda’s help to plan a Halloween Festival at her duchy.
Chapter Summary: Rinda is a crazy train hot mess as she helps plan the Halloween Festival. Hey, she’s Rinda!

Part Three: I Am Wonder Woman (Series 14, Part 3 of 15)
“Where in the Great Pumpkin did I leave my brains this time????”
It was Rinda’s notebook where she had checklists and her scribbles when an idea or another to-do item popped into her head. Everything was in that notebook, and she couldn’t find it. Again.
Henry sighed and retraced his mom’s steps for her, and he found it on a hay bale that was several yards away. In the beginning of the afternoon he teased his mom, telling her that she was the last one to use it, so she should know. Or he’d try to talk her though her last steps, just like Bonk did for him, to help her remember. But it was a long day and there was still a lot to do. It was in everyone’s best interest for him, Phillip, and Alex to keep track of the notebook for her and run the various errands she needed during set up.
But the boys didn’t mind. They had bragging rights that they got to help with the festival, AND King Liam and Queen Riley said they could spend the night at the duchy after the festival.
Now Rinda was mumbling to herself, asking and answering her own questions, looking around and pointing to things to reassure herself that yes, they were finished. Everyone who knew Rinda knew this was normal, and the staff at the duchy quickly learned that Rinda was quirky—and good natured. She was the first to laugh at herself, and really, she didn’t mind if they laughed with her. And they weren’t expected to respond to her Rinda Rambles—unless she lost her brains. Then she needed all the help she could get until someone found that notebook for her—again.
The planning had actually started weeks ago. The staff and event planners at the duchy had strict orders to listen to Rinda and follow her every order, no matter what. At first everything went well. The staff knew that everyone on the security team was an amazing teacher and they were excited to work together to make the night a success for all of the families. However, they didn’t realize that Rinda was a spitballer who would come up with the craziest ideas that she would work through. Sometimes the ideas were so crazy that she realized it right away. Other times, she needed other people to bring her back to reality. The security team was used to it, and they knew they could always call Rinda out on her crazy-ass shit. However, the staff didn’t have permission to do this. When Rinda realized the stress she was putting on them she felt horrible and quickly went to Gladys to apologize and figure out a way for staff to feel comfortable giving her the constructive feedback she needed so they could work as a team.
The compromise was that any staff member could politely, and professionally, tell Rinda that an idea “sounded similar to what Duchess Carmine did years ago.” Then Rinda knew she was being crazy train and unreasonable, and she would thank the staff member for telling her and say “we can’t do that, then. Everything must be different now that Queen Riley is here.” The poor staff, dealing with Rinda the clueless Wisconsin girl. She didn’t realize it was unreasonable to ask if a large field of corn could be planted in spring so they could do a haunted corn maze the following fall.
At first the staff was receptive. A small patch of corn in a garden? Yes. Of course.
Rinda looked at them in confusion. No. A corn maze. You know. It takes at least 3 acres and miles of trail, so it can take 45 minutes to get through them. And you have to plot the maze out ahead of time and cut the paths as the corn grows.
The staff looked at each other for a few minutes, unsure of what to say. But Rinda saw their polite reaction and helped them. “Did Duchess Carmine already try that?”
Gladys snickered. “Rinda, I don’t think even Duchess Carmine tried something that large scale.” Fortunately, there WAS a hedge maze that was already full grown. Perhaps that could become a haunted maze? And after a few minutes of laughing at herself for being such a Wisconsinite, Rinda profusely apologized and agreed that yes, that would be more than perfect. In fact, “it would be quite posh.” Then Rinda winked at Gladys to thank her for stopping the crazy train.
Gladys and her staff finally got comfortable enough with Rinda to bluntly say the word “dove” or the phrase “that’s not phoenix.” They were telling her no, without actually saying it, and Rinda loved it. Now they were working like a team.
Rinda also talked with Gladys to get her perspective on whether or not to use apples at the festival. Carmel apples, cider, and bobbing for apples were popular traditions, and it would be perfect to use Cordonian apples. However, since the orchards were burned Rinda didn’t want to use the scarce apples that could be sold for profit or used to feed local families. They decided to skip bobbing for apples and they’d have hot chocolate instead of cider. Caramel apples would be available, but donations would be accepted to help the farmers whose livelihood was impacted by the fire.
And while they were at it, they decided to cut corners on some of the decorating and activities, and instead put the money toward a free dinner for the families. Other staff members weighed in, giving suggestions to trim the budget, and they found volunteers who would donate food, help prepare it, and serve it. Bastien and Mara were able to handle the security concerns, and Rinda gave everyone a group hug. It really would be the perfect evening, and everyone was in agreement that Duchess Carmine had NOT done this before.
. . . . .
The night before the festival the security team and their partners stayed until the bitter end, and finally everything was ready. There were two haunted house sections in the duchy—one for younger children who were accompanied by an adult, and a scarier version for the older children. The haunted maze was for the older children. Some of the local high school students agreed to dress up and be actors in the maze and haunted house, and they would lurk in the corners and wait for the children who met up with . . . a dead end. For younger children there was a well-lit spooky path.
The menagerie was a petting zoo--well, at least with the animals that seemed kid-friendly. Rinda learned that Maxwell Beaumont had several peacocks, and she asked if the peacocks could visit for the evening. Maxwell was so excited that families could enjoy his beautiful peacocks, and Rinda didn’t have the heart to tell him why she really wanted the peacocks there. They made the creepiest noises that were perfect for a scary Halloween evening, and she knew from her visits at the Milwaukee County Zoo that they were fine to roam around the grounds (although Maxwell promised to corral them if they became a nuisance).
Outside they had separate stations for carving pumpkins and painting pumpkins. Leaf piles. Hay rides, and Queen Riley’s horse Marabelle’s Dream was helping to pull the wagon. A graveyard area with large tombstones for children to play ghosts in the graveyard or hide and seek. Throughout the festival area there were several stops where children could yell “trick or treat!” to get candy. And Drake insisted that they have a fire pit where children could roast marshmallows and make s’mores.
Everyone flumped on the ground, too tired to move. But they had to. Tomorrow was a long day. A fun day, but a long day.
Bastien needed to stay at the duchy and finalize some security details, but he would see Rinda after school the next day. Before Rinda left, Bastien gave her a well-deserved head and neck massage, and when the tension finally left her body, Bastien held her as she fell asleep. He felt the rise and fall of her chest, the warmth of her body as she snuggled against him, the softness of her curls as he kissed her head. He had gotten used to sleeping next to her, wrapping his arms around her as he fell asleep, and Bastien knew he wouldn’t sleep as well without his Tria. So he held her just a little bit longer before waking her up. When they said their goodbyes, Henry hugged his Bonk just a little bit tighter as Bastien whispered that he loved his Knuddelbär and couldn’t wait for tomorrow when they’d see each other again. Rinda gave Bastien a small smile as she stood on tiptoes to hug him goodnight, and when he lifted her up she wrapped her legs around him and hugged him close. “I love you, Tiger. So, so much.”
“I love you too, Tria. So, so much.”
When he set her down, Rinda playfully booped Bastien’s nose. “Now go get ‘em, Tiger!”

Chris had Camel face looking like he had BPD instead of Chris 😆 Chris has the 2 Jays looking all kinds of stupid karma is truly a bitch. As Chris told Jay Z "watch and learn" he sure schooled them with a smile on his face Chris was the perfect definition of pure hate and acting normal. He pissed Carmel face off and laughed at him. I enjoyed this chapter. Jay Z got his ass served by Chris Brown.
Chris has the tools! Maxwell is right and Chris will excel in life with knowing what he has. He’s already doing it and he’s going to be ok. Chris didn’t look like the crazy one and we got to praise him for that. He didn’t let emotions take over

Great Final Night of the NÉWME programme ( for now) Our worthy winners and biggest losers were Noel, Stephen & Ashleigh. Well done guys! Collectively as a group over the past 7 weeks we lost an incredible 6 stone! But it wasn’t just about the weight loss - we’ve also made incredible strides along the way- forging new friendships and strengthening old ones. We are absolutely indebted to Colm, Mickey, Aidan, Éoin and Joe from T.A.M.H.I for the work they have done with us and the support they have given us- and how the Mental Health Awareness message has increased throughout the club and community. We are looking forward to continuing this work with you! We are also deeply indebted to Sîan for coming up every week to take us through the circuits - our very own personal trainer! A huge thank you also to Carmel for taking us through the Mindfulness Session and providing us with lots of useful tips and strategies to practice mindfulness through our day! A word of thanks also to Mairead for taking the time to speak to us last week - with her thought provoking talk on nutrition- it really was food for thought. Finally, not forgetting Conor Maxwell for the videos and demonstrations he posted for us to work on our fitness at home. Thanks a million Conor. It has been an amazing 7 weeks- Thank you to everyone who took part- but this is only the beginning- watch this space for further initiatives coming up! 305 US Climate Mayors commit to adopt, honor and uphold Paris Climate Agreement goals
STATEMENT FROM THE CLIMATE MAYORS IN RESPONSE TO PRESIDENT TRUMP’S WITHDRAWAL FROM THE PARIS CLIMATE AGREEMENT
The President’s denial of global warming is getting a cold reception from America’s cities.
As 305 US Mayors representing 61 million Americans, we will adopt, honor, and uphold the commitments to the goals enshrined in the Paris Agreement. We will intensify efforts to meet each of our cities current climate goals, push for new action to meet the 1.5 degrees Celsius target, and work together to create a 21st century clean energy economy.
We will continue to lead. We are increasing investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency. We will buy and create more demand for electric cars and trucks. We will increase our efforts to cut greenhouse gas emissions, create a clean energy economy, and stand for environmental justice. And if the President wants to break the promises made to our allies enshrined in the historic Paris Agreement, we’ll build and strengthen relationships around the world to protect the planet from devastating climate risks.
The world cannot wait — and neither will we.
