Brooke sat on Maddy's bed with a small, foldable mirror in one hand while her other hand lined her lips with a walnut brown shade while listening to Maddy and Kat's conversation. "Do you think my areolas look weird?" Maddy asked, while looking at her boobs in the mirror.

"No." Kat responded while Brooke just hummed in agreement, moving onto her eyeshadow, gathering her brushes together.

"But like.. The edges though." Maddy spun a little round, glancing at her friends who weren't even paying attention to what she was saying.

"Maddy, they're fine." Kat said while Brooke responded, "Yeah girl, calm down."

Maddy scoffed and said "Fine like they're weird, or fine like nobody but me would notice what I notice?"

"Fine like shut the fuck up Maddy!" BB yelled from Maddy's bathroom which caused Brooke to stop applying her makeup and start laughing

"I'm disgusting. I literally look disgusting." Maddy said while  pulling her tank top back up while Brooke scoffed and Kat responded "Maddy, you need to snap the fuck out of this. You're hot as fuck and Nate's a loser. Who cares?" Kat said, looking up at her while Brooke hummed in agreement, finishing her makeup and putting the mirror back on Maddy's table.

"He's not a loser, he's a dick." Maddy defended him. "All dicks are losers... duh." Kat mumbled. Brooke stood up and grabbed her phone, walking into the bathroom that BB was previously getting ready in, no longer interested in the seemingly never ending conversation. She pulled up her periwinkle colored jeans and smoothed out the wrinkles on her satin, indigo shirt.

Brooke came back into the bedroom and sat down on the bed and grabbed her phone to get more details about the party that was being thrown later.

"Brooke! You ready?" Maddy yelled from downstairs, glancing at Kat and BB who were also confused on what Brooke was doing. "Yep! I'm coming, gimme a sec I'm putting my shoes on." Maddy shrugged and turned around, walking to the door while BB shouted "We're gonna wait for you in the car." while following Kat and Maddy outside, shutting the door.

Maddy slowed the car down, beginning to pull into the parking lot of the store that Fezco owned with his brother. A certain curly haired girl walked past  the car and as soon as Maddy parked, she squinted her eyes and leaned closer to where the familiar figure was coming from.

"Is that..?" Maddy mumbled

"Oh shit. Slow down." Kat told her, even though she was already parked.

"Dude that's Rue! Oh my god.." Kat yelled.

Brooke sat up and smiled. "Oh shit! It is her!"

"Wait. didn't Rue like.. Die?" Maddy asked, confused.

BB leaned back in her seat and said "Oh my god.. I hate ghosts." Making Brooke laugh and say "She was in rehab I think."

Kat stuck her head out the window and yelled, "Yo Casper! You want a ride?"

Rue turned around and started walking slowly to the car. "Why thank you."

Brooke moved over to the middle seat, making room for Rue while she opened the door and got in the car. "Hey Rueee" Brooke said, making Rue turn to her and grin lazily. "Oh hey."

Maddy pulled out the parking spot and continued driving while rap music played and the smoke from BB's vape and the blunts that were being passed around, filled the car.

Brooke looked down at her phone, getting a message from her best friend, Sienna.

Brooke shut her phone off and laid her head against the headrest behind her, growing a headache every time BB blew smoke in her direction. Brooke just kept calm and continued listening to the rap music playing throughout the car, thankful that the current situation would only be for a couple more minutes. When the girls arrived at the party, they all said their goodbyes and ran off inside.

Brooke planned to stay with Maddy, but of course that wasn't happening since she already walked off, probably to find Nate. Her eyes darted across the room, hoping to find Sienna, or anybody else that was familiar to her.

After walking around for a few minutes, Brooke grew irritated with how many people shoved into her, unapologetically. Looking through the crowd of people one last time, before eventually deciding that she would find Sienna later, Brooke walked to the kitchen.

She grabbed a red solo cup, glancing at all the bottles of alcohol and shot glasses that were scattered throughout the kitchen. Making sure her cup was clean, she walked over to the fruit punch bowl and made herself a drink, making a mental note to add some tequila to it as well.

"Hey Brooke! I've been looking for you!" Brooke's head snapped to where the voice came from, thinking it was Sienna but it was just one of her friends from school, Isobel. "Hey Isobel! You liking the party so far?" She said drinking from her cup.

"It's ight." Isobel shrugged. "You?" Brooke grinned before shrugging as well. "Yeah it's ight. You know where Sienna is?" She shouted over the loud music.

"Uhm.. The last I saw her, she was at the bathroom so try there." Isobel spoke before grabbing a bottle of alcohol and walking away, saying her goodbyes.

Brooke drank the rest of her drink, scrunching her face, looking down into the cup, only to see that it was clear. She put the cup down, rolling her eyes as she realized she just drank from the wrong cup. She shrugged it off, walking back into the living room, to find Sienna. Her eyes scanned over all the dancing figures before she found what she guessed

were the bathrooms, where a lot of people gathered.

Brooke looked at all the figures, not finding one with noticeably crimson colored hair, which caused her to turn around, figuring whatever was going on behind that crowded door, was most likely bullshit.

She walked around more, still trying to find Sienna before eventually giving up and sitting herself down onto an empty seat on the couch. Her eyes scanned the room, watching all the people who were doing their own thing before she turned her head to get a look at who she was sitting beside. Her eyebrows raised and when she saw Sienna

"Where the hell were you?" Brooke shouted over the loud music, causing Sienna to look at her and smile. "I was looking for you everywhere!" Sienna yelled before pulling her into a hug.

Brooke's smile faded away as she felt a tug on her bladder. "Hey, stay here, don't go anywhere. I gotta use the bathroom." Sienna pulled away from the hug and said "Alright, but be quick" she chuckled and walked off to the bathroom.

Brooke walked out the bathroom, shaken up from all the drama she had heard. She shrugged it off, walking back to the couch that she was previously at. She looked around for Sienna before eventually sitting down, figuring she just went to get a drink.

She grabbed her phone out of her bag and started scrolling on instagram, no longer having interest in this party.

She started scrolling through the comments before she felt the seat beside her sink down. She looked over and saw Sienna. "I told you not to leave!" Sienna laughed "I'm sorry, I was thirsty I had to get a drink. You wanna dance?" She yelled over the loud music. Brooke nodded as Sienna pulled her up and led her toward the middle of the living room, crowded with dancing figures.

Sienna and Brooke started dancing together but Brooke felt eyes watching her. Brooke continued dancing but shrugged the feeling off

Unbeknownst to Brooke, Ashtray was staring ahead of them. He watched as they grabbed onto each other, dancing and singing along with the music. He didn't know either of the girls well, but he did know that Sienna bought weed from him alot and Brooke just seemed.. Confusing.

He met her a couple times before. Sometimes she was dressed in sweatpants and a tee and didn't talk at all while looking at her phone and other times, she was dressed all fancy with her hair done up in some kind of way while being chatty.

He knew she came from a rich family and just figured she would be one of those rich, annoying, stuck up girls with an everlasting bitchy attitude. Maybe he was judging her based on what he heard about her but she just seemed like she was uninteresting and annoying.

Despite how Ashtray was staring her down, Brooke didn't notice it. But Sienna did. And just as she was about to tell Brooke, and suggest going over there, she heard a loud voice.

"Do you guys know who the fuck this is?" Brooke and Sienna stopped dancing and the music stopped. Everyone was staring at Nate Jacobs pointing at a girl Brooke had never seen before.

"Does anybody know who the fuck this is? Does anybody know who the fuck Jules is?" Nate yelled again, while everyone stood awkwardly, but silent. He walked away from the girl and towards the crowd of people around him and started pointing at someone "Anyone at all. You. Do you know who the fuck Jules is?" He turned around and started walking back towards her. Continuing their previous conversation, Brooke couldn't hear because she was too far away.

Nate started getting in the girl's face which obviously upset her before he yelled again "Yo is anybody here, friends with Jules? Anyone? Does anyone know who the fuck this bitch is?"

He got quiet again, waiting for someone to speak before yelling louder. "Somebody better speak up or this bitch is gonna get fucked up!" The girl, seemingly tired of Nate being an asshole to her, grabbed a knife

"Oh shit.." Brooke mumbled while Sienna hummed in agreement to her reaction. Nate walked backwards away from the girl, as if he was retreating from a bear. "You wanna fucking hurt me!?" She yelled, walking towards him. "No! I was fucking kidding!" He yelled, trying to calm her down, which obviously in this case, wouldn't work. "Back the fuck up! What the fuck is your problem?!" She yelled, getting him against a cabinet with a scared look as he eyed the knife in her hand. "Put the fucking knife down okay- It was a joke-" He scrambled, trying to find the right words.

"You wanna fucking hurt me!?" "No no no-" Nate mumbled, still eyeing the knife. "You have no fucking idea." She said, slicing her wrist after. Brooke gasped like everyone else and looked at Sienna, who was just shaking her head, at a loss for words.

"I'm fucking invincible!" Jules said, with her hand raised up, walking over to Nate and putting her blood on his shoulder. She backed up from Nate, putting her arm down and shouted, "By the way, I'm Jules. I just moved here!" She said, smiling and walking out the kitchen,

The music started back up and everyone continued dancing. Brooke nodded slowly, finding the new girl cool but somewhat weird. She then  turned to Sienna, who was already looking at her. "Okay then.." Sienna mumbled over the music. "The fuck just happened" Sienna shrugged in confusion

You loved all your friends but you had only been back in Melbourne for not even 48 hours and they were already dragging you to a BBQ party when all you wanted was to be in your apartment curled up with your cat, Timmy while reading a book. 

“I promise if within an hour you really aren’t enjoying yourself, you are more than welcome to leave. I’ll even promise to order the uber” your friend told you “Deal” you agreed. You enjoyed your parties but you also enjoyed some peace and quiet, right now you wanted the latter. 

You arrived at the party and made your way to the backyard with your friend. You had brought a pack of coolers with you, being raised never to show up empty handed to someones house. “I’m gonna go put these with the rest of the alcohol, Im sure I’ll see you around” you told the friend you had arrived with and then set off to find the alcohol table, mostly to put the coolers down but to also get yourself a drink, you needed one if you were planning on seeing this through. 

You found the booze table and put the coolers down, then scanned what other alcohol they had. You opted for making a vodka, lemonade. Once you had a red solo cup in your cup, another friend of yours passed by and asked if you wanted to come play beer pong. You just shrugged and said “sure”, you didn’t mind a good game every once and awhile. 

When the two of you got to the beer pong table, two boys stood at the one end. You had to admit they were both good looking, however the blonde one had caught your eye. “Is it us against you two or how are we doing this?” your friend asked, both boys shared a look “We can split up” the brunette boy suggested “I’ll be your partner” he added referring to your friend 

“Are you okay with that?” your friend asked turning to you “Fine by me” you said as you walked to the other end of the table where the blonde boy stood “Just don’t be mad when we beat you” you added looking at your friend chuckling slightly “Oh you're on” she laughed. 

“I’m Oscar” the blonde boy introduced himself “I’m Y/N” you offered him a smile, he seemed familiar but you couldn’t tell from where “Are you good at this?” you asked taking a sip of your drink while your friend and his friend introduced themselves to each other “Eh I’m decent” he answered your question, laughing slightly “We can win with decent” you joked making him laugh again. 

One game of beer pong later, you and Oscar had won against your friend and his friend “Yes!” you exclaimed as the last ball went in, indicating you had won “Good job” Oscar told you holding his hand up for a high five which you gladly gave to him “We make a good team” you said as a small blush appeared on his face “We do” Oscar agreed with you. 

From that point on, the two of you spent the rest of the party together getting to know each other, playing a few more games of beer pong, dancing a bit, overall having a great time together.

When the night was coming to a close and you were walking to meet your friend to go home, Oscar was right by your side “Is there any way I could get your number?” he asked scratching the back of his neck “Yeah but under one condition” you started “You have to take me on a date” he blushed but chuckled “I can definitely do that”. 

Once your numbers were exchanged and you shared a quick hug goodbye, you were in your uber with your friend “Aren’t you glad I made you come” she smirked looking at you, you just rolled your eyes. The both of you knowing she was right but there was no need to say it aloud.

Things between you and Oscar had been going so smoothly. Obviously he had to get back to racing pretty soon which was why you were making the most with the time you had, not that either of you minded spending pretty much everyday together. 

Right now you were sitting on your balcony, enjoying the morning breeze, while Oscar was still sleeping. He had spent the night because yesterday you had gone to Sydney for a boat day with your best friend and her boyfriend and by the time you got back, it was pretty late.

You didn’t want Oscar driving back to his place so you offered for him to stay which he gladly accepted and you were able to fall asleep cuddled up together. 

Your cat was curled up in your lap while you read a book. You were so engaged with your book, you didn’t notice Oscar walking out of your room and coming into the kitchen, seeing you on the balcony. He didn’t want to startle you so he walked over to the door, tapping on the side to get your attention before speaking 

“Morning” he smiled at you “Morning, did you sleep well?” you asked as you put your bookmark in your book and shut it. He nodded while a yawn escaped his lips “Do you want a coffee? or I can make us breakfast” you suggested as you picked your cat up and got up walking to the door. 

Oscar moved to the side to let you in and shut the door behind you “Why don’t we go out for breakfast” he offered “This way you can just rest” he explained as he walked over to where you stood by your kitchen counter, where you had put your book down, gently putting a hand on your lower back. “Sure, I like that idea” you told him as you smiled looking up at him “I just need a few minutes to get ready and we can go, I actually know the perfect place” “Sounds good, also I was wondering if you had a spare toothbrush” he asked laughing slightly.

You laughed with him and nodded your head “Follow me” you instructed and brought Oscar to your bathroom to show him where you kept spare toiletries incase anyone ever needed anything while they were here. 

“Thanks” he told you once he had a toothbrush in his hand “Anytime, when you’re done just make yourself at home and I’ll be ready soon” you told him.

As you turned to walk away to get ready, Oscar grabbed your wrist causing you to stay in place, he leant down giving you a quick peck on the lips “Sorry Ive just been wanting to do that since I woke up” he told you blushing. 

You had a small blush on your own cheeks, he truly was the cutest person you knew “No need to apologize, you're welcome to do that whenever you want” you told him causing him to blush even more but then he broke into a boyish grin and stepped closer, putting his hands on your cheeks and kissing you properly.

It didn’t matter to either of you if you both had morning breath, all you cared about was each other and getting to do this as much as you could before Oscar left to get back into the world of F1.

It was the day you and Oscar were most dreading, the day he had to leave Melbourne to get back to work. You had told him you would drive him to the airport, wanting to spend every minute you could with him before he left. 

You made casual conversation on the drive over, not wanting to think about the fact you’d be doing long distance, not sure when you’d get to see each other next. You were going into your final year of your degree and would be in classes which meant you probably wouldn’t be able to attend the races. 

Unfortunately you arrived at the airport faster than you hoped you would. You parked in the parking lot and got out of the vehicle once you turned the car off. You went to help Oscar with his bags “I got it” he told you, putting his backup on and then grabbing his suitcase handle with his one hand “Just hold my hand” he told you smiling and reaching to intertwine your fingers. 

The two of you walked hand in hand towards the entrance. Because Oscar had some fame to his name, you were able to stay with him until he had to start boarding and then security would safely escort you back to your car, per request of Oscar himself. Luckily due to the time of day, there weren’t any fans that he could see but he didn’t want to risk it. 

You sat in the waiting area for his flight to be called, you had your head resting on his shoulder “I’m gonna miss you so much” you told him softly “I know, I’m gonna miss you too” he expressed the same mutual feeling. 

“I’ll be cheering you on from home for every race though” you added lifting your head up and looking at him, he smiled at your comment “Knowing youre watching is all the incentive I need to make sure I do good. I gotta make my girl proud” he said lifting your intertwined hands and giving them a kiss.

He could be such a hopeless romantic at times and it always made your stomach do cartwheels, you didn’t know how you got so lucky with Oscar. 

Some time passed before his flight was called causing the two of you stand, forced to look at each other not wanting to say goodbye but knowing you had to.

“Go be a brilliant F1 driver” you told him, not wanting to say anything more or else you might cry “Come here” he said opening his arms, knowing you were doing your best not to cry. 

It could be alot dating someone in Oscar’s field constantly having to say goodbye and not knowing when you’d be able to see each other next. You walked into his arms wrapping your arms around his waist as he wrapped his around you.

A moment passed before you pulled away, if he didn’t leave now, he’d miss his flight. “Text me when you land, I don’t care about the time difference” you told him “Of course” he told you as he picked up his backpack and you made your way to the doors to the plane.

Hanging out with Maude and Halle after finals was one of the most refreshing things you could possibly do. Being cooped up in your dorm became more and more stressful as you surrounded yourself with notes upon notes to study with.

You eyed your figure in the mirror. The beautiful red dress your friend ordered for you perfectly. It formed to your body perfectly, hugging each curve. Maude stood behind you, long brown hair pulled back into a messy ponytail. Her pink frilly dress fit perfectly. “We look so good! God and I thought you would hate what I picked out for you.” She comments wrapping her arms on your shoulders.

“To be honest, I was scared. Reds not usually my color. You know me. I love wearing more muted colors.” You replied leaning your head back onto Maude's shoulder. You both laughed and she let go of you, falling onto her bed. You both shared a dorm, not even knowing one another as freshmen. But into your current sophomore year, you, Maude, and Halle were best friends. “I'm guessing Halle is going to be late huh?”

Maude lets out a chuckle, “Yeah, should I just text her to meet us there?” She says picking up her phone. She lays back on the bed calling up your mutual friend. With a nod, You continue to eye yourself in the mirror before sitting at your vanity. You began to do your makeup, powdering on various things. “Okay, she's going to meet us at the venue, apparently she's getting us tickets to a random concert. But hey I don't really care, I just want to honestly do something besides study.”

“I can get on board with that one.”

As you entered the bar, you met up with Halle and stood together near the stage, eagerly anticipating the start of the concert. "So who is Macabe exactly?" You asked curiously.

"My boyfriend's band," Halle replied, pulling a flyer from her purse and passing it to you and Maude. "Y’all know Dominic right? The fucking dreamboat of a man in the front!” She points to the frontman on the poster.

You eye the poster seeing all the members. “Is Dominic new? I mean yeah he's hot, but they're pretty much all hot. I’m assuming they do like rock or something?”" Maude leaned in to ask Halle, and they began chatting animatedly while your attention wandered back to the stage. That's when you noticed the particularly large female audience, drawn to this local band. You dismiss the thought and refocus on your friends' playful argument.

The entire room dims as it hits the three of you, it becoming clear that the concert is about to begin. “Y'all better cheer so loud Dom!” Halle asks, and you roll your eyes but nod. As the band walks on stage your eyes are drawn in to the drummer.

As the band takes the stage, your attention is immediately drawn to the drummer. Short black hair, chipped black nails, piercing eyes that seem to see right through you, and a toned physique - in your opinion, the most attractive man you've ever seen.

Lost in your admiration, you feel Halle nudge you with her elbow and make a clicking sound. Maude joins in with a quiet "Ooh! Our girl finally likes someone." You playfully shove them back.

The man looks down at you, his gaze studying you. Eyes trailing up and down your form. You push them playfully as the drummer's gaze meets yours, his smirk indicating that he noticed your staring. Halle squealed quietly. “Oh, after this I’m so introducing you to him!”

After the show, you and the entire group sat and waited for Dominic to come out. “I texted him and everything, I'm kind of sick of waiting on his ass,” Halle complained, rolling her eyes, head resting on her palm. Maude was at the bar, playing Candy Crush on her phone. You fidgeted with one of your rings, feeling restless.

“Halle! Come on, the boys want to meet you guys!” You heard a voice call from the door opening. Halle's face lights up and she gets up motioning for you and Maude to follow. Both you and her walk backstage and come to sight with a relaxed view of the band. Seeing all of the band resting, lazily, now their eyes on all three of you.

“Okay! Girls introduce yourselves, y'all got mouths!” Halle cheerfully says, walking away to go sit on Dominic's lap. YNervously, both you and Maude introduced yourselves. “Okay get comfortable!!” Halle says already practically tuning both you and Maude out completely.

"Do these men..." Maude began.

"Intimidate you? Yeah, me too." You finished.

Your eyes then reconnect with the drummer. With a hand he makes you come, patting the spot next to you. With a nervous smile, you sit down and greet him. "H-Hi..." Your voice trails off as he smiles back at you, his eyes closing genuinely.

He seemed like such a sincere person.

At least, that's the impression he gave off.

"You're cute," he says in a seductive tone with his charming accent. "I saw you looking at me with those pretty eyes." He lightly touches your chin, directing your gaze towards his own. You enjoy hearing how much he admires you without even knowing you.

"O-Oh! Thank you... no one has ever told me that before," you admit, feeling a mix of embarrassment and pleasure. It was nice to hear someone admire you without even knowing you.

"Don't be so nervous, am I scary or something?" he asks, raising an eyebrow playfully. "Lee Jihoon. Just so I'm not too intimidating." His name rolls off his tongue easily.

You raise your hands in defense. "No no! Nothing like that... well, maybe a little," you confess with a laugh. Your hands fidget with your thighs as you try to ease your nerves. But Jihoon just laughs along with you, his smile warm and inviting.

“Really? How so?” He adds keeping the conversation light-hearted. But why were you so nervous around him? It's not like you were turned off and creeped out by him.

With another shy laugh, you explain, "Well, you're in a band...and just really built. And, well...super hot. Shit, did I just say that?" You cover your face with your hands in embarrassment, nervously rubbing them against each other.

Jihoon chuckles and moves to sit closer to you on the black loveseat. His fingers dance along your shoulder, causing you to jump. "Don't worry, I don't mind," he reassures you with a laugh, resting his head on your shoulder. You can't help but laugh along with him, his laughter making you feel at ease.

Dominic reaches over and taps your shoulder. “Woah, dude barely talks to me and I'm his fuckin’ bandmate.” He comments, Halle, resting on his chest. “Don't let up on him dude needs some.” Jihoon leans over pushing Dominic away.

“He's a dick, don't listen to him gorgeous,” Jihoon whispers into your ear as he plants a gentle kiss on your temple, making your face flush with heat. “I want to talk to you all night.”

“Well, you're lucky, because I can do just that.”

And you welcomed it with open arms, grateful for the attention and affection he showed you. That led to you two making it official.

Halle and Maude couldn't be happier for you. Halle and Dominic broke up, but seeing that at least one of the band members seemed genuine made her happy.

Dating Jihoon felt like being in paradise. He was kind and gentle towards you, always treating you with tenderness and care. Currently, you were sprawled across his lap as he worked on his music and that of the band. As you talked, you discovered that Jihoon was not just a talented musician but also a skilled producer who worked on multiple projects simultaneously. "You work so hard," you mumbled, your cheek resting against his thigh.

His hand found its way to your arm, gently lovingly caressing your skin. "Someone has to do it, Dove," he replied with a small smile.

He clears his throat before speaking. “I don't like it when you text people when you're around me. It's like you're not focusing on us.”

You stare at him dumbfounded by that statement. If anything you put your all into the relationship, allowing for him to come whenever he wants to, always catching a ride to go visit him. You've always made sacrifices for him, constantly traveling to see him and putting in effort to make things work.

"I'm sorry that I have to let my roommate know when I'll be home. I can't just ignore her," you say, trying to reason with him. But his jaw clenches and he runs his tongue over the side of his cheek in frustration.

He just stared ahead, continuously fiddling and mixing the music. You scoff and lie down on the arm of the couch, facing away from him.

“It's disrespectful. It's like you don't want to be around me or something.” Jihoon says still working. You furrow your brows and continue to stare ahead.

“Yeah, whatever. What, fucking ever.”

In an instant, Jihoon lunges at you and grabs onto your shirt, pulling you towards him so that your faces are inches apart. His grip is tight and painful as he snarls through gritted teeth, "Don't ever talk to me like that again. You got that?"

“Y-Yes! Let go of me please…” You say grabbing at his arm. He lets go and moves to kiss the crown of your head. He finally releases you and moves to kiss the top of your head before pushing you back into his lap. Your body trembles as you try to hold back sobs, gasping for air between sniffles.

"See? Now you've learned your lesson," he says with a sickeningly sweet tone. "I'll let you know when you can leave, alright?" You nod weakly, too frightened to speak up or stand up for yourself.

“Leave his ass girl,” Halle said walking into your dorm announced. You look up from your work confused. “You're little boyfriend is the reason Dom broke up with me. He's been talkin’ about how I'm this that and the third.” Your heart races with confusion and anger, not understanding why she would accuse your boyfriend of such terrible things.

Without hesitation, you rushed to defend your boyfriend. “What? No way… He wouldn't do something like that. He's not that type of person.” Quickly closing your notebook, you added, “He doesn't even talk to people.”

Halle stared at you, her face twisted in shock. “Un-fucking-believeable. You're seriously siding with that dick!” She yelled her hands going in the air. Maude walked through the door in shock at the scene. Halle turns around and points at Maude. “You're barely home, and Maude can even agree to that.”

Maude stands there before walking in. “I mean, she's not wrong… you aren't home. You just met him not even two months ago. But you're always with Jihoon, just texting me to say you're staying the night. And don't even get me started on when he pops up just demanding shit.” Maude huffs crossing her arms. She places a hand on her temple, sighing. “You are willingly blinding yourself. Why?”

“What do you mean why?” You stood up and gestured emphatically. “You guys just want to take away the one good thing I have in my life right now. Jihoon hasn't done anything wrong. If he's such a problem, then I'll just leave.” You grabbed your suitcase and began hastily throwing clothes into it without bothering to fold them. Tears welled up in your eyes, blurring your vision.

Halle huffs out turning away. “Get the fuck then, go run to that fake ass mother fucker. Then whenever you find out what is, you're gonna be sorry.” She yells walking out of the dorm. Maude stares at the scene letting out another sigh.

“Just call me if things get too rough, okay? I love you so much… But I don't trust him.”

Moving in with Jihoon was the best possible thing you could ever do. The night you arrived on his apartment doorstep, having cried to yourself the entire way there, he let you in with open arms. He doted on you with nothing but love.

“What is your issue? I’m just saying I don't like you telling me how to think and feel, you have no right to threate-”

But before you could finish your sentence, Jihoon's hand came crashing against the side of your face, causing your head to hit the coffee table and a bright flash to cross your vision. You looked at him through tear-filled eyes and saw a twisted sense of contentment on his face.

He damped at the blood on your forehead, his lips coming to kiss at your temple. “Shh, I’m sorry baby,” He cooed doting on you for just a split second. You started off sniffling and then breaking down into full-on sobs. Jihoon held the side of your face once more. “It’s okay… see you just made me so mad, I’m sorry though, just don’t make me so mad baby okay?” Your eyes drift over to him, Jihoon smiling at you, this twisted look of contemptment.

And you agreed.

All you could do was agree.

You long for Maude and Halle's company, for the freedom to go to class and be out of this damn apartment. But for now, all you can do is play along with Jihoon's game to avoid further punishment.

But you chose this.

You chose to be with a man who buried you away from everyone and the world.
