Wolf Man has one brief scene of a generator turning on, which causes a few very brief strobes as lights flicker on. There is one brief scene where a flashlight is pointed directly at the camera a couple of times. In terms of flashing lights, this is a relatively safe film, especially in the horror genre.

There are some scenes where the camera tilts side-to-side fairly rapidly, simulating the disorientation one character is feeling.

Flashing Lights: 2/10. Motion Sickness: 4/10.

TRIGGER WARNING: This film is very bloody and gory, with lots of graphic animalistic violence. The entire film centers around an extremely painful body transformation. Body horror elements include teeth and fingernails falling to the floor, and bloody vomit in one scene.

Blake and his family are attacked by an unseen animal and, in a desperate escape, barricade themselves inside a farmhouse as the creature prowls the perimeter. As the night stretches on, however, Blake begins to behave strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable that soon jeopardizes his wife and daughter.

🌕Wolf Man Review🏠

I try to stay away from scary movies as much as I can. But having a mother that loved werewolf movies as a kid. I saw Wolf man… and it wasn't good.

Well let me start off by saying this movie isn't about a werewolf. It's about somebody that contracted a virus that made them kind of werewolf esque but they're not a werewolf and it's not really scary. It's really just the noises that scare you, a door slam, a creaky floor, that type of thing; It also lacks story and emotion. I asked my mom what she'd thought about the film and she said it was okay but she wouldn't watch it again.

So I guess I would only recommend this movie to people that are really into that "werewolf lore" and you don't mind if the movie's good or bad, but don't expect much. Otherwise, I would say skip it. 🍭

The family barricades themselves inside the house as the animal prowls, but as the night goes on Blake begins behaving strangely.

Wolf Man stars Christopher Abbott, Julia Garner, Matilda Firth, Sam Jaeger, Ben Pendergast, and Benedict Hardie. The film is directed by Leigh Whannell from a screenplay by Whannell & Corbett Tuck and Lauren Schuker & Rebecca Angelo.
