Creators can use one or both prompts for each day. Alternative Prompts are available for additional inspiration; Creators can swap out a daily prompt for an alternative prompt or use it in combination with a daily prompt or not at all. What is Nightcrawler Week?

Nightcrawler Week is a Marvel Fandom Event created by Nightcrawler Fans for Nightcrawler Fans, with fanworks featuring Kurt Wagner, aka Nightcrawler.

I want to be creator, how do I join?

No sign ups, no checks, just create whatever you feel like creating! Choose one or all of the prompts. Please read and follow all rules to be a part of this event.

What type of fanworks are accepted?

All types of fanwork are accepted; light, dark, fluff, angst, romantic or platonic, etc. please be sure to tag properly. Fanworks include: Fanfiction, Fanart, Podcasts, Edits, Playlists, Podfics, Moodboards, Aesthetics, Gifs, etc. You may commission work to be submitted but it must be created for this event, so no reposting an older work for this. Due to Tumblr's restrictions we cannot reblog anything that is explicitly N S F W, but we can reblog links to N S F W creations that are hosted on other sites.

What media is accepted?

Any and all media that features Kurt Wagner this includes; Comics, Animation, Movies, and Video Games.

Do I have to create to participate?

Not necessarily, while creating is highly encouraged, we also value the fans who wish to participate in the event by sharing, reblogging, commenting, and supporting Creators works!

When does Nightcrawler Week open?

Nightcrawler Week opens on November 11th, Kurt's Birthday! The week closes on November 17th. During this time Mods will be checking the #nightcrawlerweek tag to reblog creations to this blog. So don't forget to tag with #nightcrawlerweek or @amazing-nightcrawler so we can see your posts! You can also add to our Ao3 collection.

RULES

1. No Racism. Racism in any form will not be tolerated nor accepted. Kurt was raised in a Romani Family, please be mindful and respectful about their culture.

2. No Pedo, Incest, Pseudo Incest fanworks (such as Amanda/Kurt where they are raised as adopted siblings or Rogue/Kurt.) (However X-Men Evolution Amanda/Kurt is accepted as a ship pairing.)

3. Absolutely NO AI generated fanworks, including art or writing.

4. No Nightcrawler x Reader, Character Imagines, Kinships, Selfship x Nightcrawler. (OC x Nightcrawler ships are welcome!)

5. Kurt is not a furry, or an alien/demon/catboy, he is a Human Mutant, please be mindful to not dehumanize Kurt.

6. Don't like? Don't Read! You, the fan, are responsible for your comfort in fandom. If there is something that upsets you then please take the steps necessary to remove yourself from that situation.

7. Tag your triggers! Please remember to properly tag your work!

8. You must use #nightcrawlerweek in the first 5 tags of your post so that Mods will be able to find your work and share. You may also use @amazing-nightcrawler to tag us on your posts.

Mods will not share any works that does not comply with the rules. We strive to be a supportive & fun community, no drama or racism will be tolerated.

Today is exactly 10 years since the LA premiere of CA:TWS! As good a day as any to release all of our prompts so you can plan for the anniversary event.

Kicking off on March 26th, we'll be celebrating a decade of CA:TWS with 8 daily prompts to choose from, ranging from thematic prompts and quotes, to more general prompts and character-specific ones. These can be interpreted in any manner you choose and do not need to be linked to the daily theme.

As a reminder: this is an open event (see rules and FAQs - content does need to relate to CA:TWS), and the use of our daily prompts is entirely optional. They’re there to inspire, not to put up restrictions.

Welcome to Marvelous Yahtzee! An all-inclusive Marvel event inspired by the classic dice-rolling game! Roll the Dice and see what they have in store!

General Info:

Inspired by Yahtzee, every participant will receive a blank score sheet with their username.[Sign-Up Here] Roll the dice using [this] online dice roller (or your own IRL dice!) and pick your prompts from the provided lists based on the die you rolled.

Dates:

Sign Up's Open- June 24th

Start Date- July 1st

End Date- December 31st

Rules:

You can roll the dice three times per "turn" to get the desired dice you want for the line you are attempting to fill. (ie. Rolling three times for a Full House or a Yahtzee!)

Using the prompt lists, fill in the scorecard line that you would like to use that dice roll on.

You can mix SFW and NSFW prompts, and you may use any prompt up to four times.

Create one fill using all of the prompts chosen for that scorecard line. (It's up to you whether this is a one-shot, a chaptered fic, a new chapter of a current WIP or a mood board! So long as all the words are contained in a single new creation.)

Types of Rolls:

Single Numbers: Roll one to five (1-5) dice of that number

Three of a Kind: Roll three (3) dice of the same number

Four of a Kind: Roll four (4) dice of the same number

Full House: Roll two (2) dice of any number and three (3) dice of another.

Small Straight: Roll four (4) dice in sequential order (ie. 1234)

Large Straight: Roll five (5) dice in sequential order (ie. 12345)

Yahtzee!: Roll five (5) of the same number

FAQs:

This event is for any and all Marvel ships! (Including characters that may have been or currently are underage in the MCU)

Dice rolls are on an honor system! The fun of the game is in rolling the dice. We trust that you're following the rules behind the screen!

If you find yourself stuck on your last one or two scorecard lines, feel free to try again until you get it! We don't want anyone to have an empty scorecard line. We do encourage you to go as far as you can without re-rolling for a specific line first, though!

We welcome SFW and NSFW fills; please be sure to tag accordingly!

No minimum word count!

Be kind! There are a multitude of ships and preferences in the Marvel-verse, and we ask that you treat everyone's creations with respect. If you don't like a ship, move on!

Feel free to play again! Once you fill out a scorecard, start another! You never know what you'll roll in the second game!

2024 announcement and schedule

We're thrilled to announce that the 2024 round of @stuckybangs will be a reverse bang. Sign ups for all creators will begin on December 2nd 2023 and the full schedule is below.

WinterSpider Bingo Round 1!

Hello! Welcome to WinterSpider Bingo, a creative fandom event for our favorite boys: Bucky Barnes and Peter Parker! No sign-ups for this event, just fun! There are two (2) cards (found below), one sfw and one nsfw, with five (5) alt prompts if you’d like to/need to swap any of the squares. You can do one card, or both!

Standard bingo rules apply: five (5) spaces horizontal, vertical, diagonal, four corners + free space, or black out! But you can fill as many or as few of the squares as you’d like, no pressure! You can write fic, make fanart, playlists and more! All fanworks are welcome, and there are no word count minimums or maximums for fic.

This event is open from August 1st - December 31st

The AO3 collection (winterspiderbingo) will open on August 1st. Also, please tag this blog in your posts here on tumblr, and use #winterspiderbingo so that your work can be shared here for all to enjoy!

RULES

One work per square and it must be a new work, this does include a new chapter of a WIP or new part of an ongoing series! Anything created prior to the start of this event can not count for a square on your card, however. If you are writing fic and would like to create one multi-chapter fic, you are more than welcome to do so, but each chapter must be it’s own prompt/square. 1a. You may use two prompts for one fill if one is from the SFW card, and one is from the NSFW card!

Combining fills with other events is a-okay!

Absolutely no kink shaming will be tolerated within this event! If you are uncomfortable with something in someone’s fill, please just block that content tag and/or user and move on.

Absolutely NO generative AI “art” or fic will be accepted as a fill for this event.

There is one SFW card and one NSFW card for everyone. There will be five (5) Alt Prompts on the cards for if you aren’t vibing with one of the squares for whatever reason. You can use none or all 5 alts, it’s up to you and what you’d like to create fan works for!

Thank you so much for the incredible response to our interest check! We were overwhelmed with over 200 responses and we’re delighted to announce that the CA:TWS 10-year Anniversary Event will be going ahead from March 26th to April 4th 2024. 

Based on the response to our interest check, this will be an open event, meaning we will allow any content related to CA:TWS. We will provide daily (thematic) prompts to help inspire you, the use of which are optional. We will be releasing the prompt lists two weeks beforehand so that participants will be able to prepare creations for posting on the appropriate day. 

Prompts can be interpreted however you wish, though we request that they are focused on CA:TWS (whether canon or canon divergent). Creations permitted will include – but are not limited to – fanfic, gifsets, podfics, fanart, moodboard, playlists, fic rec lists, crafts, etc.
