this is random but my take on "the cruel prince was wrongly marketed!!" is that yes i agree that it should've been marketed as fae politics, but also those people who complain about them "not being enemies to lovers, cardan was straight up trying to kill her"- it's called 'enemies' for a reason šŸ’€ i get that the term has been super washed down and softened so you're probably shocked by the way it was showed in the book but like what did you expect? for them to call eachother ugly a few times? šŸ’€šŸ™
Tbh i didn't like the start of the cruel prince very much at all and was cringing alot but i think labelling jude and cardan's relationship as "enemies to lovers" does make sense.

I think I am going to make a custom to sell rather than take a commission, if just because I don't know if I will be able to source parts for a more specific design.

And the thing is, now they HAVE to keep Portable around if anyone wants the full experience of Persona 3. Or they're gonna just ditch it on current gen consoles and leave it to rot instead of making a definitive version where Kotone, Theo, Saori, and Rio won't be forgotten
And really there's no reason why Theo, Saori, and Rio shouldn't have been in the game even without Kotone. Make Theo a selectable Velvet Attendant. Have Saori cameo in the Library. Rio is friends with Kenji and Yuko, have her appear as a side character in their Social Links. Hell, have Kotone as a Special NPC or something. There was plenty of alternatives.
Theo's the worst one! Like he still fucking shows up in other games! If you only play Reload and then go on to, idk ARENA ULTIMAX Theo just shows up and you have no clue who the fuck this man is (and I can confirm I've seen this happen)
Like at some point either the team does not care about FeMC or literally anything related to her or they have very poor planning abilities because they excluded all her stuff even if it wasn't as obtrusive as a whole other route.
It's the BDSP issue where they were so busy focusing on being ~faithful~ to the original, frankly, at this point only a small portion of their audience have played, to the exclusion of all the updated content everyone pretty much universally agrees is better! (Assuming you take them at their word and they weren't planning on doing The Answer until they saw the fan interest for it and I guess somehow just forgot the Aigis social link wasn't in the original)
They just somehow got a team of people completely unaware how popular the two versions of the game people actually played over the original are to work on this game WILD

Hello again!
I've been thinking for a while about better ways to manage between working on comms (so i can pay bills etc) and working on comics/personal illustrations.
You might have noticed I've been dishing out mostly commissioned work lately and that's mostly because well...a girl and her several cats gotta eat.
I would however like to explore other ways of maybe making some cash money that would allow for more time to focus on working on things to show everyone like comics and illusts.
So I'd like to ask for people's opinion on subscriptions.
These would just be a 1-3 euro monthly sub, possibly with a higher tier for those who are comfortable donating bigger sums.
I have to stress that right now because of health issues I cannot offer exclusive rewards outside of early bird access and possibly process videos, these will mostly be a way to throw some support my way if people would like to.
I do currently have a patreon that I use exactly like this (@/Diardri), however I want to see if people would rather use a different site, or if it's still people's go-to.

60% of managers fail in their first 18Ā months.
Beat the odds by skipping these 9 common mistakes:
1ļøāƒ£ Focusing on motivation over momentum Ā ā€¢ Motivation is fleeting Ā ā€¢ Systems are sustaining
2ļøāƒ£ Managing tasks instead of energy Ā ā€¢ There are unlimited things we could do Ā ā€¢ Energy must be focused on what matters
3ļøāƒ£ Hiring for skills over character Ā ā€¢ Technical abilities can be taught Ā ā€¢ Core values are nearly impossible to change
4ļøāƒ£ Confusing feedback with coaching Ā ā€¢ Feedback looks backward at performance Ā ā€¢ Coaching builds forward toward potential
5ļøāƒ£ Thinking youā€™re not in sales Ā ā€¢ Every interaction is a chance to create buy-in Ā ā€¢ Your teamā€™s success depends on your ability to influence
6ļøāƒ£ Confusing hiring with recruiting Ā ā€¢ Hiring fills todayā€™s open roles Ā ā€¢ Recruiting nurtures tomorrowā€™s top talent
7ļøāƒ£ Not leading with clarity Ā ā€¢ Vague expectations build anxiety Ā ā€¢ Clear direction creates confidence
8ļøāƒ£ Not managing up proactively Ā ā€¢ Your effectiveness depends on your managerā€™s Ā ā€¢ Your bossā€™s problems should be your problems
9ļøāƒ£ Solving problems too quickly Ā ā€¢ Quick fixes create dependency on you Ā ā€¢ Guided discovery builds their capability
Experience is a great teacher.Ā  Especially someone elseā€™s experience.
Smart leaders learn from their mistakes.Ā  Wise leaders learn from the mistakes of others.

Coca-Cola is now on the official BDS boycott list!
From the website:
November 2024
1) Why?
Because Coca-Cola is implicated in Israeli war crimes.
According to research by WhoProfits, the Central Beverage Company, known as Coca-Cola Israel, which is the exclusive franchisee of the Coca-Cola Company in Israel, ā€œoperates a regional distribution center and cooling houses in the [Israeli] Atarot Settlement Industrial Zone.ā€ Furthermore, its subsidiary, Tabor Winery, ā€œproduces wines from grapes sourced from vineyards located on occupied land in settlements in the West Bank and Syrian Golan.ā€Ā
The International Court of Justice affirmed in July 2024 that Israelā€™s entire occupation of Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is illegal, as are all Israeli settlements built on occupied land. As Israeli settlements ā€“ on occupied Palestinian and Syrian land ā€“ are considered war crimes under international law, Coke is complicit in a war crime.Ā
Corporations that are implicated in the commission of international crimes connected to Israelā€™s unlawful occupation, racial segregation and apartheid regime - within or beyond the Palestinian territories occupied in 1967 - are all complicit and must be held accountable. Direct complicity includes military, logistical, intelligence, financial and infrastructure support. The corporations, as well as their boards of directors and executives, may face criminal liability for this complicity.
Local alternatives are popping up worldwide to substitute Coca-Cola, an unnecessary and replaceable beverage
Local alternatives to Coca-Cola have been gaining market share across the world, including in Palestine, China, Bangladesh, Sweden, Egypt, India, South Africa, Turkey, Lebanon and elsewhere.
2) Why NOW?
The BDS movement has always considered Coca-Cola boycottable but has not prioritized it as a target based on its careful and strategic target-selection criteria, so why endorse the Coke boycott now?Ā
Human rights and health activists, among many others, have been campaigning against Coca-Cola and similarly complicit corporations for decades, including grassroots drives targeting the company for its complicity in Israelā€™s gross violations of Palestinian human rights.Ā
During Israelā€™s ongoing, livestreamed genocide, Israeli soldiers have often been pictured with Coke cans, donated to them by various genocide-enabling groups. This has provoked even more anger against the company, particularly given that Israel is starving 2.3 million Palestinians in the occupied and besieged Gaza Strip, severely limiting their access to clean water and, as a result, inducing the mass spread of contagious diseases.Ā
Given this context, Palestinian activists in Gaza and many BDS activists in the Arab world, in many Muslim-majority countries, and in some European countries as well, have called on the BDS movement to add Coke to its priority targets.
The BDS movement had previously targeted General Mills for its manufacturing of Pillsbury products in the illegal Atarot Settlement Industrial Zone - the same Zone where the Coke facility operates. Thanks to effective BDS campaigning, we won the demand for General Mills to end its business in Atarot. We know a campaign against Coke is winnable too.Ā
Based on all the above, and given Cokeā€™s large contribution (through business-as-usual and taxes) to Israelā€™s war chest during the genocide, the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), the largest Palestinian coalition leading the global BDS movement, has endorsed the grassroots, organic #BoycottCoke campaigns to pressure the company to end its complicity in Israelā€™s illegal occupation, apartheid and genocide.Ā

Supernatural *is* a horror show first and foremost.
it has been said before but i feel the need to state again that the finale of supernatural is not only the most insane case of accidentally making a soul crushing psychological horror while trying to make a satisfying conclusion but the only case of that happening ever (at least to my knowledge.) iā€™ve seen bad tv endings, but never a tv ending that was trying to be comforting instead telling me that all of my worst nightmares are true and that me and the ones i hold close will never ever love openly without fear. again, so many before me have made this point but god. they killed him on rebar. he never got to be free
#this at least helps me appreciate the ending#horror is often used for social commentary#and the fact that this bi male character thought his life would end brutal and bloody and alone 15 years before#and the fact that *nothing had changed* after all#that he died the same death and *gave up* bc his reason for fighting (love) was lost to him forever when cas was sent to the Empty#that he was on this hamster wheel that drove him to near madness and even when he defeated it the real world (OURS)#couldn't handle an ending where he was happy in love with another man is a slam dunk for the writing team#if youre mad at the ending dont direct your anger at the writers. they were *very* clear esp in the last season that this was their goal#you can kill network exec Chuck in the show but the real-life execs still will not allow dean to live#and this is *after* market research presumably demonstrated that it wasnt profitable enough commit to destiel#that is a *societal* problem and a *financial* problem that even our most beloved queer characters haven't earned enough of#our approval to LIVE! how horrifying! how terrible#how visceral and real yet only those primed by sympathy to queer hardship would even see it as such#ANOTHER horror that even our deaths arent mortifying enough to a majority of people#i thought i hated the ending but the more i think on it and read btwn the lines#the more it makes sense. none of this is an accident and the writers were begging us to understand that their hands were tied by other#forces that they ultimately failed to defeat but they *could* call out several issues and deliver a pyrrhic victory#they showed us artistic censorship has the potential to be *deadly*. they showed us that some people can give everything they have and#still be considered disposable due to (insert marginalized status here - note that eileen charlie - and her partner - resoultion)#and cas do not get on-screen resolutions to their stories)#and this ending *still* haunts those that *do* give a shit years later#this is a horror show and the horrors never ceased they just framed it as a happy ending and hoped we would accept this brutality as closure#and for many it was. the rest of us cant rest in peace knowing how easy dean and cas were to throw away for so many.#spn text rant#>?[#supernatural#spn s15#chuck won

Nurse Call Systems Market Sales, Demand, Regional Outlook And Supply Chain Analysis till 2030
The global nurse call systems market reached a value of USD 1.7 billion in 2022 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.11% from 2023 to 2030. This growth is driven by the increasing demand for integrated, adaptable platforms that improve patient care and communication within healthcare settings. Nurse call systems enable efficient communication between patients and caregivers, enhancing patient safety and care quality. An additional factor driving the market is the shift in reimbursement practices by Medicare. Medicare has decided to base reimbursements on quality and outcomes rather than service quantity. This shift is aimed at controlling rising healthcare costs, as current reimbursement practices have added an estimated USD 2.1 billion in costs. To address these expenses, Medicare aims to promote technology-driven healthcare systems, encouraging hospitals to adopt streamlined, efficient solutions like advanced nurse call systems.
Nurse call systems provide flexible and reliable communication solutions within healthcare facilities. With the increasing number of patients, the demand for efficient communication tools has surged. This demand has spurred innovation, enabling healthcare facilities to improve their workflow, enhance management practices, and offer higher-quality patient care. Technological advancements have empowered industry players to develop sophisticated, innovative devices. For example, in December 2019, Tunstall Group introduced Tunstall Carecom, a wireless and digital nurse call system designed to enhance patient-caregiver communication and streamline workflows.

The adoption of real-time location systems (RTLS) integrated with wireless technologies has also contributed significantly to the growth of the nurse call systems market. RTLS technology enables healthcare facilities to monitor the movement of caregivers and equipment in real-time, optimizing productivity. An example is Televicā€™s AQURA Care Communication Platform, which integrates various modules, including nurse call, RTLS for staff and patient tracking, alarm management, personal mobility, and mediator control. This platformā€™s modular design allows hospitals to integrate it with their existing infrastructure, improving overall functionality and adaptability.
The rise in home healthcare and nursing home facilities has further fueled demand for nurse call systems. Industry players are focusing on improving patient response times and reducing nurse fatigue by incorporating diagnostic and communication technologies into their products. For example, in June 2019, Vocera Communications, Inc. launched an analytics solution that tracks the number of calls, texts, alarms, and alerts received by clinicians. Such innovations not only enhance caregiver responsiveness but also help hospitals tailor nurse call systems to specific needs through customized solutions.
Application Segmentation Insights:
The wanderer control segment accounted for the largest market share, with over 34.7% of revenue in 2022. This segmentā€™s growth is primarily driven by increased funding aimed at implementing effective healthcare models that improve patient safety and care. The nurse call systems market is divided into several application segments: alarms and communications, workflow optimization, wanderer control, and fall detection and prevention. The workflow optimization segment is projected to witness the fastest growth, with a CAGR of 12.52% over the forecast period, due to the need for cost-effective operations and efficient resource allocation within healthcare facilities.
Efforts by hospitals to prevent patient falls are expected to drive growth in the fall detection and prevention segment. By detecting potential falls, these systems can alert caregivers and enable timely intervention, reducing the risk of injury. The alarms and communications segment is also projected to grow as it plays a critical role in enhancing patient safety. This segment focuses on improving communication between patients and caregivers. An example is Amplion Alert, which uses RTLS badges connected to medical devices to manage alerts and monitor room activity. When caregivers enter a room, the system automatically collects data, which can inform the healthcare team and improve patient care outcomes.
In summary, the nurse call systems market is expected to expand steadily as healthcare facilities invest in advanced technologies that enhance patient care, streamline workflows, and promote better communication. As Medicare policies shift towards outcome-based reimbursement, hospitals are increasingly adopting nurse call systems and real-time tracking technologies, which help reduce operating costs and improve patient safety. The ongoing development and integration of advanced systems, such as RTLS and wireless communication platforms, will likely continue to shape the future of the nurse call systems market.
