#Marcus x Didyme

ooohh you're open! Would it be alright to request a very angsty and fluffy Aro x sister reader. When they were still humans, Aro, Didyme, and reader were very close (They practically raised her) tho reader has a huge age gap between her siblings. Can you do a reunited fic? Like Aro and Didyme thought reader was killed when they were human. Aro and reader reunited at the final battle with the Cullens. Reader never knew Aro was still alive (idk how it can be up to you) so when they saw eachother it was unbelievable. Let's just say that reader looks similarly to Didyme so angst ensues for Marcus baby (Can also be Marcus x reader). Reader looking for her dear older sister only to be told she's dead. I know it's a lot so I'll understand if you can't do it or would like to change the plot a bit.
A/N: Hello and thanks for the req, I loved writing this! The twilight wiki was my best friend while writing this, so all the historical content was got from there. I changed your idea a bit (Aro turned reader). Also let’s ignore that Edward and Aro can read minds and Carlisle spent time with the Volturi coven. This has a lot of back story but I think it is cool to know just the debts of vampire mourning.
-S
PSA: I don’t remember much from breaking dawn part 2 so the battle is inaccurate.
TW: Talk of kidnapping, murder, vampire fuckery, family dying, starvation, a mention of Refrigerator (Renesmee for the uncultured), I feel like Aro always needs his own warning so, Aro.
1000ish words (this turned out to be a lot longer than usual hcs for me).
You were a child when Aro and Didyme were turned, and with your parents dead your siblings started to take care of you.
Aro acted like you were his own child while raising you and protected you from anything that could cause any harm to your still human body.
Didyme sang you to sleep for years and pushed all suitors away from you when you got a bit older.
Aro turned you when you were about 20, and with a small disappointment he realized that you didn’t own any special abilities. Aro once had a massive rant that how someone as amazing as you, didn’t have any powers.
You lived with your siblings for a long time and your coven got bigger and bigger while all the members got fiercely protective of you.
But all took a turn for the worse when you were taken by some angry vampires, leaving your whole coven to believe that you were dead.
Your captors told you that your coven was murdered by them.
When you got out from the vampires, going back to Greece was too painful. So, you started to travel as far away as you could trying to find some happiness in your life without any of your family.
For a long time, you didn’t talk to anyone and avoided all contact, leaving your house only to hunt.
That was the time when you started to drink less and less, building such a good tolerance that your black eyes or sandpaper-like throat didn’t bother you.
~~~
But time forces you to heal.
In the 1900s you found a friend in New York, a lovely girl called Rosalie. It was nice, so human and the girl was so genuine with you.
Rosalie disappeared from my life for a moment, then you walked in on her drinking from a rabbit and having the yellow eyes you had seen once or twice in your life.
You spent a few years with Rosalie, Carlisle and Edward, but never joined their coven, you lost yours already and no time could heal it.
But you were their friend staying with them from time to time and disappearing when it started to feel like you were replacing your old family.
~~~
Rosalie called you first telling of the mess that was starting to unravel in America and you were on the first flight to Forks, after you hung up.
You didn’t talk to any other vampires and stayed hidden, so you had no understanding of vampire law. After all the so-called kings were most likely younger than you so why should you listen to them.
You stayed mostly alone while the others were talking of strategy with the other vampires all around the world.
They were fighting for their family... something that you couldn’t do all that time ago.
~~~
You stood at the edge of the field, back behind all the other vampires.
You had barely fought anyone in your life, even if your age had brought you strength. But the Cullens had promised that this wouldn’t turn into a fight.
Then a massive group of vampires appeared to the other side of the field.
You couldn’t concentrate on looking at any of them, instead focusing on the snowy ground. You were there as a number and silent, and for you it was just fine.
You hear Edward talking to one of them, only to hear the sound of a ghost... The sound of your lovely brother’s voice, Aro.
You raised your head, looking around from the surprise. Were you really going mad, right now?
You took a good look at the royal coven only to see ghosts all over it.
Your feet started to move before you could stop them. You walked through the crowd of vampires stopping when you reached the Cullens at the front.
Still your coven was there.
You made eye contact with the ghost of Marcus.
“Didyme?” It was a small whisper from him, but it got everyone's attention and slowly people turned to look at you, the one who got Marcus’s attention so completely.
You always joked how you and your sister looked so similar even when you were just a human child.
The ghost of your brother turned to look at you before slowly saying your name like a small prayer.
Is this really just ghosts and are you going insane? Were they really there?
“Brother?” You said, taking a step forward.
“Sister?” Aro said, and you could only nod and straighten your hand as an invite for your brother's powers.
Your brother was in front of you in a second and his hands were pressed to your cheeks, forcing you to look at him while looking at your memories.
When your brother had enough of your memories, he pulled you to a hug that you had missed for centuries.
“Brother, am I going mad” you asked in your native language that you hadn’t spoken for so long.
Brother pulled back from the embrace. “No, my little sister, you just have been lost from me for too long.”
You turned to look at your brother's company seeing your old coven mixed with a lot of new people. But you couldn’t find your sister.
“What has happened?” you asked, looking back to your brother.
“We took down the old rulers and we became the new one. Our coven has been royalty for over a millennium now.”
~~~
The rest of the night went on in a haze. You couldn’t listen to any of the Cullens or the struggle of the immortal child. You just needed your brother.
Your coven was in a private plain with you back to town in Italy, that was the capital of the vampire world apparently.
You were glued to your brother’s side while you and your coven told you what happened after you disappeared.
Aro and Marcus’s eyes were pooled with venom while Caius was silent but clearly as emotional as his friends.
No one had mentioned Didyme the whole time and in your heart, you knew why, you just weren’t strong enough to get the confirmation. But you needed to know what happened, who took your sister away from you.
“Big brother?” You asked in your mother tongue, getting Aro’s attention.
“Yes?”
“What happened to her?” You asked, afraid to get the answer.
“She was attacked and killed a long time ago, but fear not she has been looking after you this whole time. And now she cries tears of joy after seeing us together at last.”

THE HEIR – A Volturi Fanfiction
Prologue:
Hello, readers! I hope you all enjoy this wonderful fanfic that It's on my mind for a long, long time... Any feedback It's welcome, xoxo!
______________________________________
The stone walls and the gloom that permeated the narrow corridors of the Volturi's subterranean stronghold exuded a morose and somber ambiance, meticulously cultivated. For the immortals dwelling within, the weather of Volterra aboveground mattered little, but for the hapless humans ensnared in the clandestine chambers, there existed no more inhospitable abode. Even the depths of Hades, they mused, might prove less sweltering and oppressive. Were it not for the refined tastes of the vampire aristocracy, the fortress's chambers likely would not be so impeccably appointed.
Selina, the youthful enchantress, delighted in imagining that her relentless and sadistic master, Caius, derived a perverse pleasure from likening their domain to the inferno. And perhaps, she pondered, such a comparison wasn't entirely unfounded...
She raised her head with steely resolve, traversing the corridors adorned with Renaissance artwork, sporadically illuminated by flickering candlelight casting a faint glow upon ancient artifacts. It was a whim of the Volturi's elite, adorning their underground sanctuary with relics that could well predate Selina's own existence.
Without preamble, she pushed open the double doors to a chamber, discovering a cadre of vampires engaged in hushed conversation, comfortably ensconced within.
"Look who's returned to the lion's den, Selina?" taunted Renata, perched pretentiously in an armchair near the central hearth, a tome bound in crimson velvet clutched in her hands.
Selina entered the chamber, arching a disdainful brow, displaying her disinterest in the vampire who once again sought to provoke her needlessly.
"Must you be so disagreeable, Renata? Is it truly necessary to so blatantly advertise your disdain for me? It would behoove you to feign civility, wouldn't you agree?" Selina retorted, her smile laced with a tantalizing edge, as Chelsea escorted her to the vermilion settee, whose crimson eyes gleamed with a sinister allure.
Chelsea emitted a soft chuckle, murmuring to Selina as they approached the divan where a gentleman was engrossed in a game of chess.
"She wouldn't be capable of feigning camaraderie. How would she cope with the envy of having to share Aro's attention with you?" Chelsea remarked, guiding Selina with a gentle touch upon her shoulder.
Renata's glare swept across the chamber before returning to the book in her possession, pointedly ignoring Chelsea's comment to stave off any further conflict.
"Have you had a pleasant journey, Lina?" inquired Afton, Chelsea's consort, deftly maneuvering a chess piece upon the board. It appeared he was playing alone.
Selina reclined upon the settee, offering a dissatisfied smile.
"Demetri and I tracked down two nomads responsible for the slaughter in Santiago. Master Caius tasked us with their disposal after their execution. Despite their intriguing nature, I've never encountered anything quite like it..." Selina began, recounting some of her recent exploits, though her gaze drifted pensively to the crackling flames in the hearth, lost momentarily in thought.
"And...?" Afton regarded her with the same curiosity as Chelsea.
"They stored the bodies in stacks, appearing strangely preserved..." Selina replied, her voice tinged with contemplation.
Chelsea furrowed her brow in perplexity, exchanging silent, conspiratorial glances with Afton, while Selina snapped back to attention, alternating her focus between the pair.
"What troubles you? What have you gleaned?" Selina inquired icily, her determination palpable in her gaze.
"It's a vampiric custom, Selina..." Afton began, attempting to steer the conversation elsewhere.
"It is my prerogative to be informed..." Selina insisted, her unwavering gaze leaving no room for evasion.
The man sought Chelsea's support, receiving a nod of encouragement, prompting him to continue. Afton occupied a similar station to Selina within the Volturi hierarchy. Though Aro and other members of the coven may not hold his presence in as high regard as Chelsea's, he commanded respect nonetheless, and Selina, favored by Aro due to her unique abilities, held a similar standing.
"There exists a practice... an arcane tradition scarcely known, involving the preservation of human remains, and she..." Afton's words were cut short as the door swung open abruptly, revealing the ethereal figure of Jane, who had materialized like a phantom, her footsteps unheard by any within.
The room fell into silence, awaiting her command. Jane offered a benign smile, though it failed to reach her eyes, lending her an air of icy detachment.
"Aro requests your presence. Go now and tarry not," Jane intoned softly, sending shivers down Selina's spine. She nodded silently and made her exit, leaving behind a disgruntled Renata and an atmosphere fraught with tension.
"That she-devil..." Chelsea muttered through gritted teeth.
"Tesoro..." Afton chided gently.
Selina rose from the settee and made her way to the door, exchanging a final glance with her companions.
"We shall converse anon. Fret not, Afton..." she assured them, casting a meaningful wink their way. It was a subtle message understood only by the trio. Selina possessed the clandestine ability to obscure memories—a tool she would wield to safeguard against Aro's intrusion, ensuring he perceived only what was expedient.
Selina departed, navigating the dimly lit corridors toward Aro, leaving behind a discontented Renata.

Hi! Just read your Marcus x reader fic where they get compared to Didyme.
I was thinking maybe a Poly! Volturi comparing Reader to their ex/late partners and Reader shuts down. They don't mention it, but it really hurts cause they've always been a replacement, so they leave Volterra. The Volturi don't realise for a while.
Feel free to ignore this if it's too repetitive or you've done one like it before.
𝖁𝖔𝖑𝖙𝖚𝖗𝖎 𝖐𝖎𝖓𝖌𝖘 (𝖕𝖔𝖑𝖞)
Angst, no comfort. Pure angst, literally no fluff at ALL. Bad relationship, couple of swear words in there, let me know if you want a part two of making it up <3
Part 2
It's not like you were the second choice
They had been adament that they wanted you, that you were their true mate
So why were they acting like this now?
After almost a year of being together, they were starting to fall out of the 'honeymoon phase'
Had it always just been a phase? Was this doomed from the get-go?
It started with little snippy comments about acting proper. You were human, not raised in the fine luxury and manners they were, and apparently that showed in your actions. And apparently the way you dress too.
It's like they were moulding you into their exes, it it was making you miserable
And it's not like you didn't try to tell them, you did. Only to be shut down. "Cara mia, I'm working. This is not an appropriate place to discuss this" Aro told you, despite being within the privacy of his study
Caius was no better, in no mood to 'entertain you' and your 'whims' as he put it, brushing you off with a sigh
Marcus, too, was no use, disregarding the emotion and making it perhaps worse by saying that didyme would have taken of the constructive criticism
So there you stood, looking at yourself in the mirror. The big dress, the light makeup, the haircut, even the fucking posture just want you.
And so you left.
Silently, seeing as communicating clearly wasn't an option
How long had it been when they realised you were gone? Three days at least
Honestly, Aro had assumed you were annoyed with them and wanted space, telling his brothers suck. It had never crossed his mind that you had left
I mean, the clothes you wore every day were still there, all the gowns and dresses still in place and -
Where were the clothes you brought with you?
The ones they insisted you wouldn't wear?
Caius walkers into your personal room with a huff, intending to talk some sense into this tantrum you've been throwing, and instead intruding on Aro's realisation
The grounds are searched and Marcus is informed
It is pure and utter panic
Chaos as they look for you
Demetri was called back from his mission early to search for you and you were in another country
Marcus was practically having heart palpitations, he can't lose another mate. "Why would she do this, Didyme would never scare me like this"
And he pauses
So does Aro
And so does Caius
And for the first time, they truly hear themselves
Caius is the first one to remember you bringing it up. "Did she talk to you about it too..." the proud kings' voice is for once delicate and quiet
"... I made her leave" Aro practically folds in half, having to grip over where his hear would be in his chest and lean over because of the burning sensation. It aches, it physically aches him to know he messed up this badly - he didn't give you the time of day
"... I told her I don't have time for this" Caius' fist is buried in his hair, gripping in stress and nearly ripping the strands out of his head. His hands are jittery, shaking, and his hair is tussled - a perfect relection of his inner turmoil
"... In the very moment she asked me not to compare her to Didyme anymore, I told her Didyme would take the criticism" is it possible for vampires to be sick? Because I think Marcus is about to be. His eyes sting and he makes a gagged choking noise like he's dry heaving. Like his fight or flight has chosen freeze and the rising anxiety makes his stomach churn
A knock on the door is what pulls them away
Instead of coming to the turbulent kings and taking them with him, it seems Demetri picked you up on his way back instead and brought you right to them.
There are bags under your eyes, and your skin is sickly. Your cheeks are stained with dried up tears and your eyes are bloodshot like you cried so hard you broke a vessel
They rush toward you and Demetri takes that as his cue to leave
Marcus ever so gently holds your face, eyes scanning you for any physical harm, and when he finds none he feels so much temporary relief he almost collapses into himself. "Thank goodness you're okay, I couldn't bare to lose you-"
"what, like you did Didyme?" you spit back with more venom in your voice than their combined fangs have ever produced in their millennias of life
"No, no" Caius' voice has never been so gentle, he takes your hand in his and places a kiss to the inside of your wrist
"Oh, so I'm gone for three days and suddenly it's about me and not your exes?" there is spite in your voice, but it still wavers with how upset you are
Exclaiming "three days?!" was a big mistake on Aro's part, but in that moment he was so full of concern he hadn't realised it would only worsen the situation
"... You didn't know?" and the look on your face is absolutely heart shattering
And they have no words, nothing to say. Because there is no words, and there are no excuses.
"I was gone for three days, and you didn't care enough to notice?!?" your angry now. And you have every right to be. But they have no idea how to fix what they've done

Hey! If you don’t mind can you do a fic where yandere Marcus Volturi(movies) finds his mate in a human girl who has a shield like Bella so he can’t use Chelsea or Corin to tie her down. Maybe a stubborn mate that’s not putting up with him trying to lock her up and runsaway to prove a point. Just imagine a yandere Marcus stressing because he feels like he might lose her like he lost Didyme plus like 2,000 years of touch starved and hopelessness. Feel free to ignore if you don’t like it🥰
Ofc anon!
Yandere Marcus volturi x reader (stubborn)
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
you ran through the dark streets of voltera out of breath and tired, it would have been more logical to escape during the day but night was when your captor hunted giving you a slim chance at freedom. you came to volterra with your friends on what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, it was anything but that. you and your friends had been invited to tour the volturi castle unaware of the monsters that lied inside, the monsters that killed the innocent tourists that fell for the trap like so many others. but not you, they left you standing amongst it all scared and shaking, that is when you met him. needless to say it was a surprise and joy to Marcus when he discovered he had another mate, a second chance at love, one that he would never lose again. he was nice at first not wanting to scare you or force you to love him. thinking you would do it on your own he gave you freedom to move around the castle but the first time you tried to escape he became panicked and realized that giving you said freedom would make him lose you. it took him awhile to realize you had a shield gift but it was jane who had brought it to his attention when she found you trying to escape for the second time and attempted using her gift of you, when it didn't work she took you back by force. You were locked away in marcus's private chambers where only he and the few he aloud could be near you, finding out that you were immune to their gifts nearly drove him mad with fear of not being able to stop you from leaving. But after months of convincing him that you wouldn't run he had left you alone, not for long but long enough for you to escape the castle. Now here you were running through the dark streets of volterra, silently hoping the rushing sounds around you were the wind rather then what you escaped from, just as you reached the border of the city you were pinned against a wall, the force knocking the air out of you. Of course the one responsible for this was jane, she had never bothered being gentle with you not caring that you were human. "You know that your are not aloud out of the castle, it is quite rude to hurt your mate by continuing to run from him" she says giving you a blank stare, her red eyes peircing. You managed to wiggle from her grip, half knowing that she didn't just loosen it for fun, as you guessed once your back was turned to the alleyway your mate sped from behind holding you close, his face in your hair. "You do not know how worried I was my love" he mumbles holding you tighter "thank you jane, that will be all" marcus says barely looking up to look at her as she sped away, "Marcus i-" you start, trying to defend yourself with an excuse of why you ran away "shh it's alright my love, I know you didn't run because you don't love me, it's because I haven't given you enough love" he smiles, holding your warm hand in his "the sun will rise soon, im sure your quite exhausted from your adventures" he says before picking you up bridal style, you didn't fight him, you knew you couldn't you just had to accept this for now, until you could find a way to escape. But deep down you knew that you would never escape, he wouldn't let you. You are his mate after all

WHAT ABOUT FELIX VOLTURI X ARO'S YOUNGER SISTER (the youngest after didyme)! READER WHAT DO WE THINKKK so like reader was turned by Aro on her 20th birthday and got the gift of mental pain but if she gives too much psychological pain on a vampire/human/werewolf/whatever, their head would explode (bc it's fun).
❝you are of interest to me❞
✭ pairing : Felix volturi x reader
✭ fandom : twilight
✭ summary : (y/n), the younger sister of aro and didyme, was turnt on her 20th birthday. Her power is of no joke and can cause serious damage to both humans and vampires alike, for centuries she was bored. Locked away in the little tower aro built for her, not for her safety but others. Though she could easily leave she enjoys her time alone, but one day she decides to pay her big brother a visit. Not only catching the attention of a vampire, but one who was of importance to her sibling.
✭ twilight masterlist 2
The ancient castle of the Volturi loomed over the Italian countryside, its dark stone walls casting long shadows in the fading twilight. Inside, amidst the grandeur and secrecy, dwelled a family of vampires, known to few, feared by many.
In a towering chamber of the castle, a room seldom seen by anyone, (Y/N) was locked away. She was the youngest of the Volturi, a member of the most powerful vampire coven in existence. Her siblings, Aro and Didyme, held prominent positions within the Volturi, their influence extending across the vampire world. But (Y/N) was different, even among the Volturi.
She knew the darkest secrets of her family, secrets that would shatter the world if revealed. Secrets that explained why Didyme was no longer among the living. The official story was that she had met an unfortunate end, but (Y/N) knew the truth. Aro had killed her, not out of malice, but to prevent her from turning Marcus, one of the Volturi's kings, soft. Didyme's gift, the ability to bring happiness to others, was a threat to the Volturi's iron grip on the vampire world.
But what set (Y/N) apart from her siblings was her own unique power. It was a gift that she reveled in, a power that brought her immense pleasure. Much like Jane's gift, (Y/N) could inflict mental pain, but her ability went beyond that. She could unleash such excruciating psychological torment that it would cause a vampire, a human, or even a werewolf's head to explode. It was a gruesome power, one that she used not out of necessity, but for sheer amusement.
Locked away in her tower, (Y/N) had little contact with the outside world. Aro, with his manipulative personality, had orchestrated her isolation. Yet, unlike most, she didn't mind. Solitude suited her just fine. She enjoyed the quiet, the freedom to indulge in her peculiar sense of entertainment.
As she sat in her dimly lit chamber, her crimson eyes glinting with a twisted sense of satisfaction, (Y/N) contemplated her existence. She knew that she was a pawn in Aro's grand schemes, a hidden weapon to be used when the time was right. But she cared little for the politics and power struggles of the vampire world. All that truly mattered to her was the pleasure she derived from her chilling gift.
In the depths of the Volturi castle, (Y/N) bided her time, waiting for the day when her powers would be unleashed, when the world would witness the full extent of her malevolent abilities. Until then, she remained the dark secret of the Volturi, a shadowy figure hidden away in her tower, reveling in the pain she could inflict.
Centuries had passed since (Y/N) had been confined to her tower, and as the years went by, her boredom had grown into an insatiable hunger for something different, something new. She had exhausted the entertainment her solitude offered, and her longing for excitement had finally gotten the best of her.
One moonless night, when the castle was shrouded in darkness, (Y/N) made her decision. She quietly opened the window to her tower, the cool night air brushing against her skin. Her beautiful black gown flowed around her, and the delicate heels she had been wearing were now held tightly in her hand. She knew that she needed to remove them if she was going to make her descent without attracting unwanted attention.
With practiced grace, she lowered herself from the window and landed gracefully on the ground below. Her vampiric agility made the descent a mere formality, and her gown and heels were safely stowed away.
She walked through the eerie silence of the castle corridors, her presence sending ripples of unease among the few vampires who sensed her powerful aura. It had been so long since anyone had seen her outside her tower that her sudden appearance was nothing short of shocking.
As she reached the grand chamber doors, (Y/N) pushed them open with a flourish. Her eyes scanned the room, taking in the familiar faces of the Volturi, including her brother Aro, who stared at her with a mix of anger and amusement.
"Hello, brother," she purred, her lips curving into a wicked smile as she sauntered into the room.
Aro, ever the master of diplomacy, couldn't help but smile in return. "Ah, my darling little sister. What brings you out of your tower after all these years?"
Caius, always quick to question, interjected, "Just who is this?"
(Y/N) didn't miss a beat as she introduced herself, her tone dripping with confidence. "I am (Y/N), the youngest and most powerful of our coven. Even if my dear brother and you and marcus here are in charge," she said, casting a pointed look at Aro, "I'm definitely the head bitch in charge."
She strolled over to Marcus, her striking resemblance to her late sister Didyme causing him visible pain. "God, I've missed your depressed ass," she teased, giving him an affectionate hug.
The emotional turmoil became too much for Marcus to bear, and he excused himself from the room, leaving (Y/N) to explore her surroundings.
As she wandered, her eyes fell upon Felix, one of the Volturi's most formidable guards. His chiseled features and imposing presence captured her attention, and she couldn't help but smirk. The centuries of isolation had made her hunger for new companionship, and in Felix, she sensed a kindred spirit.
“Oh my, who’s this handsome hunk of meat?”
(Y/N) was never one to shy away from a flirtatious exchange, and Felix found himself caught off guard by her unabashed advances. Her crimson eyes danced with mischief as she leaned in closer, her voice a sultry purr that filled the room.
Felix clears his throat and introduces himself, though unsure if he should be doing so.
“My name is Felix, my queen?”
"Well, Felix, aren't you a sight for sore eyes," she purred, her fingers lightly tracing his jawline. The other vampires in the room couldn't help but watch the scene unfold, their attention fixed on the unexpected chemistry between the two.
Felix, typically stoic and unflappable, was at a loss for words. He managed a faint nod, his eyes flickering with uncertainty.
But (Y/N) wasn't one to wait for a response. She straightened up and gave him a sly smile. "You're now my personal guard," she declared, her tone leaving no room for argument.
As she turned to leave, Aro couldn't contain his disapproval. "You can't take one of my guards," he protested, his eyes narrowing.
(Y/N) paused and turned back to face Aro, her smile turning mischievous. "Oops, I just did," she retorted. "And just because you didn't give me that 85-inch plasma screen TV in the tower I wanted for Christmas, I'll take your precious twins too!"
Her audaciousness left the room in stunned silence. The Volturi twins, Alec and Jane, were Aro's most trusted allies, and (Y/N) had just claimed them as her own, all in one bold move.
Aro sighed, his anger giving way to resignation. "Very well, my dear sister. You always did have a knack for getting your way."
“That’s because you know if you go against me I’ll kill you,” she says throwing a smile at her elder sibling with imaginative sparkles and flowers surrounding her like in the anime’s.
With a triumphant grin, (Y/N) turned and walked out of the chamber, Felix and the twins following closely behind, still unsure of how he had become entangled in her web of mischief.

At the moment I only write and edit for The Volturi, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. That includes the Kings, Queens and the Entire Guard. There is a special pardon given to Carlisle because my guilty pleasure ship is Carlisle x Aro. Eleazar has also been added to the roster as of 2024. Other characters may be mentioned here and there, but they will not be the focal point of my writing. There are also OC's of mine that pop up here and there!
I take general questions about both the rest of canon for the most part. But I do not do headcanons, imagines, edits or moodboards about other characters upon request. If you want that I would recommend going to @kemet-shedeh which is volterran-wine’s sister blog dedicated to the Amun & co. Or @vin-de-draco who is dedicated to Stefan and Vladimir.
I write for Afton, Alec, Aro, Athenodora, Caius, Chelsea, Corin, Didyme, Demetri, Felix, Heidi, Jane, Marcus, Felix, Heidi, Jane, Marcus, Renata, Santiago, Sulpicia and Eleazar
I only do headcanons with up to 3 characters a request. The author likes to go deep into the characters heads.
I see Alec and Jane as children (12/13), so I will not write about them in a romantic or sexual manne. But I’ll gladly elaborate on what kind of platonic relationships they have within the Volturi in general.
This blog contains 𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐰 + 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭. I strongly advice for those who follow me to not be minors, my writing is not for you.
I take both SFW & NSFW requests. But I reserve the right to not write about something I find uncomfortable or behaviors that totally go against how I view the characters.
If you want to request something that is NSFW you need to do it off Anon so that I can know how old you are. If doing so in my inbox is something you do not want, you can DM me personally and I will keep you Anonymous if I post.
I receive a fair amount of requests when I open my inbox fully. Due to the volume I cannot guarantee I will answer everything, or do it in a timely manner. As the author I reserve the right to answer what inspires me and gives me joy.
I do not answer requests chronologically, I pace out the characters so I do not spam the blog with only Caius content as an example.
Unless otherwise specified I always write S/O’s as gender neutral. I want my blog to be a nice space where everyone can indulge in their favourite characters.
Uncouth or rudely written questions or requests will be deleted.
A please and thank you when you request is always appreciated.

In any of the stories where bella ends up with the volturi, (a glass slipper, painting red madonnas, a girls best friend love and lobsters, blue moon, for the love of a woman etc) will this end badly for the volturi? I just keep reading your and vinelles stuff and bella can seemingly go of the deep end so very easily, over so very little. Or not little, but from the outside, and whitout bella explaining herself, well i just cant imagine that it would be a sustainable situation. Sooner or later bella will do something incredibly bella and then what?
X anon
Oh lord, I've poisoned you people.
The short answer is no, Breaking Dawn puts Bella in a very particularly unstable position, one where she has genuine enemies, and she's invested all of her happiness in this moment in time where if any little thing goes wrong that's everything baby.
The Bellas you list out in the above are in a little different situations: Painting Red Madonnas is a little older and didn't place all her self worth in Edward/vampirism, A Glass Slipper has been dumped by Edward and is at her lowest low, A Girl's Best Friend and Lobsters is not even really Bella anymore and is just an alien that wants to eat DQ Blizzards, Blue Moon Bella had to let Edward go and learn to compromise with the future she wanted, For the Love of a Woman Edward has dumped her and she has to deal with the aftermath.
Bella's not doomed by nature, but the canon story is such that it puts her in a place where, by the end, the door to exit becomes smaller and smaller and with larger and larger consequences for not wanting to let go.
In terms of the Volturi, in those situations, the worst that happens is uh Bella goes out for cigarettes and doesn't come back. Aro might be a mess, depending on if this is one of the world where she cured Marcus's depression (Didyme 2.0 everybody, "I never thought I'd have to do this again" - Aro) but the Volturi would be fine.
Again, Breaking Dawn introduces some very specific very interesting circumstances that not only pits Bella against them but gets her in contact with those that could in theory raise an army/provide numbers Bella would need.

The test of a vampire : A Beauty and the Beast re-telling Part Five
The test of a vampire : A Beauty and the Beast re-telling
Marcus dei Volturi x female OC
Caterina had tried to escape her servitude to Marcus of the Volturi, but failed. Marcus explains why he was so angry with her intrusion, but tries to make amends.
Chapter Five
The Compromise
oooooooooooooooooooo
Marcus walked over to the table and smiled down at his meager but heart-felt tribute to his lost mate. Indicating with his free hand at the bust, he said, "Caterina, this is Didyme, my wife. She was killed...many years ago. The garden, I've dedicated to her. I bring in one pink rose, her favourite colour, until it wilts, then I replace it." He looked at the human. "I was not expecting to see you here. No one comes in without my permission, and it upset me seeing you here. I never should have shouted like that at you. Accept my apology, please."
"I understand, Marcus," she responded. "She was very beautiful. How long were you together?"
"She was beautiful, inside and out. Didyme had the gift of making everyone around her happy. We were together for what felt like...hundreds of years." Marcus could not tell the human it was literally that long and longer.
Caterina looked up at Marcus, saying, "Please accept my apology for running away. I was frightened, but it was stupid of me, and you did save me, so I owe you that."
"Speak no more about any of it." Marcus smiled. "At least we have worked through our misunderstandings."
"You know, my father is a farmer, so I know how to cultivate the earth and make things grow. Would it be alright if I helped you in the garden some time? After I've done my other chores, of course. And I would not mind cleaning this room for you. At least I could sweep the floor and dust the furniture. For Didyme."
He thought a moment, deciding it would give them a chance to get to know one another. And he found her offer of caring for Didyme's room touching. "I thank you for that, and I would enjoy having you help me in the garden." He led her from the room, never having let go of her hand.
Later that afternoon, Marcus asked Felix to get Caterina and bring her to the garden. He had all the supplies needed already lying on the grass.
When Caterina arrived, she smiled her thanks to Felix and walked over to Marcus. "I'm here and ready to work. What can I do?"
"Well, my dear, let me show you the varieties of roses I have here. Some, I developed myself."
Caterina perused the rose bushes, marveling at their beauty and the fragrance of the blooms. And all of this was dedicated to a woman long dead. He must have loved her very much, she thought. It explained a lot. Some people never let go their grieving. Her father had mourned her mother for a long time too.
Together they worked the beds, turning over the dirt and trimming away the dead buds from the bushes. Once, when Marcus removed a caterpiller off a branch and showed it to Caterina, she shrieked, jumping back.
Marcus laughed, and asked her if she was afraid of the small creature.
"I don't like insects of any kind." When Marcus held it out to her to show her how harmless it was, she huffed and walked back several feet. "Please keep it away."
The tall man laughed with pleasure, since he rarely laughed prior to her arrival at the castle. He tossed it to the other aside of the yard, showing her his empty hands. "It's gone, Caterina. You have nothing to fear now."
"It's silly, I know. I just hate bugs," she shivered while saying it.
The pair enjoyed talking while working. Caterina actually laughed aloud at some of the stories he related to her, finding the tall man humorous. She leaned on her rake, watching him while he worked. Was he really so bad? He had saved her from those ruffians, and who knows how far they would have gone, had he not appeared. But how had he found her?
Once they were done with the gardening, Caterina helped Marcus return the tools to the supply room in an area of the castle she'd evert been before. She washed up at a sink there, then Marcus led her to the kitchen for supper.
"Won't you stay?" she asked him.
Marcus looked down at the young woman. He felt a warmth suffuse his body when he heard her question. Did she really want him to stay with her? "I never eat with the staff, but I will talk with you later. And Caterina, thank you for helping me today. I...enjoyed myself."
Caterina smiled at Marcus, watching him as he left. Then she joined the others for their evening meal.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
"I have a surprise for you."
"A surprise, for me?"
"Yes, Now I'm going to blindfold you, so do you trust me?"
"Yes, I trust you, Marcus." Caterina waited with anticipation when Marcus tied the length of black fabric around her eyes.
"Can you see anything, Caterina?"
"No, it's dark as night," she replied, reaching up to check the blindfold. She felt Marcus' cool hand take hold of hers, leading her to wherever he was taking her.
"Good. Don't try to walk too fast. Don't worry. I won't let you fall," he said reassuringly.
Caterina held Marcus' hand tightly. She had no desire to trip and embarrass herself. She heard the sound of an opening door. The air was slightly musty, causing her to wonder where he had brought her.
"This is for you," Marcus whispered in her ear. He removed the blindfold and let her see his surprise.
Caterina gasped. "Books! So many books! Marcus, where did you get all these books?" She moved among the shelves, her eyes perusing the vast collection. She would carefully remove one to slowly turn the pages, then seeing they were in a foreign language. She recognized if they were in French, Spanish, or Greek, but could not read the words.
"A lifetime of collecting," he said. "Some are in foreign languages you may not understand, but if there is something you'd like me to read to you, I would be happy to do that for you."
Caterina searched the shelves, looking for titles in Italian. Running her fingertips over the spines, she noticed some seemed very old volumes. Others looked like actual manuscripts. In one area, she saw a locked glass case enclosing what looked like actual scrolls, written on parchment. She marveled at the written word in all its forms she had come to love since she was a child.
"Well?" Marcus asked, a small smile on his face.
"I love it," she said, her eyes sparkling with excitment. They drew Marcus in, and he felt satisfaction knowing he'd done something that pleased Caterina. He left her while she ran from shelf to shelf, looking for something to read. She found several books in Italian and another in French she would ask Marcus to read for her.
Back in his rooms, Marcus had lit the fireplace in the ante-room. He never used it, and found the warmth of the flames strangely comforting. Caterina had asked him to read an older book to her that was about the English queen Elizabeth the First, written by a French courtier only a few years after she had died. She could read only the simple title. It wasn't very large, and she felt able they could finish it in two days.
Marcus wondered how she had come to have an interest in the woman who ruled England for nearly 45 years. Farmer's daughters didn't generally have such interests beyond their homes, and then the families they would later raise with their husbands. Marcus decided he would ask Caterina if she had any suitors for her hand. He had to know.
Hearing a knock on his door, Marcus answered it to see Demetri with Caterina. "Come in, dear."
She gave Demetri a smile, then entered the room, thanking Marcus for inviting her. "I am very interested in the book I indicated. To write about eye-witness events during that time, it just seems so exciting." She went over to the fireplace and sat in front of it, holding the book almost reverently. She handed it to Marcus, saying, "Here is the one I hoped you would read. It's in French. I kept three books I found that were written in Italian. They're in my room, if that's all right. I thought to read them before bed."
"Of course. Keep them as long as you wish." Marcus sat on the sofa, Caterina next to him. He began to read, sneaking a peek at her now and then. Her eyes betrayed her interest as she listened to the days at the English court told through the eyes of a French nobleman.
Marcus stopped reading when he noticed Caterina nodding off. "I believe it's your bedtime, young woman. We can contimue tomorrow evening." He set the book down, and helped her back to her room. By the time they reached it, Caterina was awake and able to ready for bed.
While Caterina was getting to know the man who held her life in his hands, Guiseppe had visited her home to find her absent. Her father told him she was working at the Palazzo dei Priori, a place rife with rumours of strange happenings.
The strapping man became angry. "How can you, her own father, allow her to go there, knowing the stories about missing tourists? Has anyone spoken with the people who live there? It's said they see no one. I will gather some of the townsfolk and retrieve her myself."
"No! Please do not interfere. I do not believe those stories, or I would not have allowed her to go. She will finish her time working there and be sent home soon. If you interfere..."
"Have you spoken with Caterina?" Guiseppe demanded.
Mario looked down at the floor. "Not since I dropped her off at the palazzo."
"There you are! I will go there and demand to see her."
"Please, Guiseppe, leave it alone. You may cause more harm than good."
The man who wanted Caterina for his wife reluctantly nodded. "Very well. For now, I'll wait. But if you hear anything from her, I want to know."
Guiseppe left, Mario closing the door behind him. The older man wondered himself, why had his daughter not called him.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
One day, Caterina was cleaning in Marcus's rooms, when he entered to pick up some documents Aro needed.
On seeing him, Caterina smiled and nodded. "Good day, Marcus. I hope you are well."
The Volturi master glanced at the woman, giving her a smile in return. "Thank you, Caterina. I won't be here long. I just needed to retrieve something." He went to his desk and found what he came for, and was about to leave, when Caterina blocked his way.
"Marcus, I have been here quite awhile, and I...I haven't talked to my father in so long, and I was wondering...please may I call him?"
Marcus thought for a moment. She had not asked this of him, so she must be worried. She had done her job well, and he found he enjoyed her company more and more. He had to wonder if Caterina was enjoying his company. "Very well. This afternoon, I will allow you to use the phone here, and...with me listening. Just to be sure."
Caterina smiled broadly. "Oh, thank you, Marcus. Of course I don't mind you listening. I have nothing to hide. I just need to know he's fine and eating, and doing well at market."
"I'll send Felix for you when I'm finished." Marcus saw the pure pleasure on her face. When she threw herself at him in an impulsive hug, he was taken aback, but the sudden warmth in his chest would not allow him to chastise her.
Once she had released him, Marcus quickly left the room, but the warmth stayed with him even after he had reached the throne room.
"Are you alright, brother?" Aro asked, seeing Marcus with a strange expression on his face.
"Yes, I'm fine. Here are the papers you needed," he said, walking to his chair. Sitting down, the vampire still felt her arms around him.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
Caterina had finished her work, and returned to her room to clean up and add some makeup. Not that she was trying to appear attractive to her employer...or was she? It didn't matter, she told herself. She was going to get to speak with her father today.
Felix brought her to Marcus' rooms and then winked at her before walking down the corridor. "Enjoy your conversation, Caterina."
Marcus smiled on seeing her, thinking there was something different about her. He handed Caterina his cell phone, showing her how to make a call. It wasn't something he used often. Unlike Aro, he had no one to call, but he was glad he had it now, if only to make Caterina happy and see her glowing smile.
Caterina thanked Marcus and dialed home. When she heard her father's voice, she cried excitedly. "Papa, it's me, Caterina!"
Marcus could hear what the older man was saying.
"Caterina, my daughter, how are you?" The old man was excited to finally hear his daughter.
I'm well, papa, do not worry. Marcus, the man I'm working for, has been very kind. You have no need to worry. I am eating well, and the work is not too hard. I've made a few friend among the staff. I wouldn't even mid being here if I were free to go home every night."
Hearing that was good news for Marcus, since it let him know she didn't hate being here.
"How are you, papa? Are you eating? And how is the market? Have you making enough money? I miss helping you."
"Child, I'm doing well, and I've sold all the produce I've been able to take. It's amazing! We will be doing well for some time."
Marcus smiled. He had made sure the old man's produce was bought for the staff's meals here at the castle and paying above market price.
"When will you be returning home, Caterina? If your work has been excellent, I would think it would be soon."
She looked over at Marcus who had his back to her, as if he were not listening. "I don't know, papa. It cannot be much longer. I should go now. Please take care of yourself. Good bye, papa. I love you very much."
"I love you, my dear Caterina. Thank your master for letting you call."
Caterina hit the 'end' button and disconnected the call. She handed the phone to Marcus. "Thank you, Marcus. Papa thanks you as well." Tears slid down her cheeks. "I had better go. Thank you again, Marcus." With that, she fled his rooms, and headed for her bedroom to have a good cry. It felt wonderful to hear his voice. At least her father was well and earning some money. She lay on her bed, wiping her face with her hands. Hopefully she would be able to use the phone again.
Marcus was pleased at the call. Caterina had spoken well of him, and her father was not pushing, demanding she be released. Unknown to him, Guiseppe was at his favourite birrerie, or the local pub, fomenting hatred among the pub's patrons. He worked hard to get men to agree to join him, invading the castle and retrieving Caterina, by force if necessary.
A/N : there will be one more chapter for this story. Hope you're enjoying it. And thanks to anyone reading it.

So I recently rewatched Twilight. I remember watching it once when I was younger because it was really popular and everyone was talking about it, but I didn't know anything about it and, to be honest, I didn't care either, so I didn't think much about it. I watched for the sake of watching. It was around the time the last film was released. Eventually, and to my surprise, I started interacting with Twilight content a few years ago because of tumblr and fanfiction. I never thought this would happen, but here we are.
Anyway, the one thing that strangely always stood out to me was the fact that they made the Volturi and consequently other clans (like the Romanians) so weak.
Were they seriously saying the Volturi wouldn't have decimated the Cullens and their weirdo allies plus their weirdo puppies, in a second? Were they seriously saying that Caius alone wouldn't have done it and they wouldn't even know what got them? One second they would be alive, the next they would be dead. It was that simple. The way they were portrayed in the movies was so shameful. The way Caius died??? Were they for real??
Volturi alone, with members that are thousands of years old, would have unparalleled power and intelligence. With a military prowess unlike anything else. They are, literally, from the old world.
They wouldn't even entertain them if we were honest, they would deal with them while they were still in Italy.
Imagine lose to a bunch of kids.
I understand it was mostly kids/teen movies, but still. That was stupidly ridiculous.
Yup, we've all been there and it's absolutely RIDICULOUS 😂
I reckon that's why SM hasn't actually written another part like she intended to because where can you actually go with how BD played out?
I'd love to see a book solely on the Volturi but as per finishing up the story as she said in an interview? I think her safest bet is to leave it at BD. I don't see how she can go about it. Beyond the idea that the Volturi can only tear itself down. Which is very difficult again because that's accounted for. Chelsea.
Realistically, Chelsea can break other covens before vice versa. Unless they went the Marcus route. That Marcus ever found out the truth about Didyme's death. However, that also doesn't work because it's insinuated that even if you know Chelsea's influence on you- it won't change it. Should that be altered into 'let her in' formation then it makes per rather...phony? I can't really see Aro wanting Chelsea for her gift if it can be blocked so easily. That would make an overly complex problem that people (me) will fixate on. Plus it's a significant crack in this solid foundation the volturi is supported on. Chelsea can make or break bonds...if you want her to? Not great for an opponent. So I really see the only out being Chelsea turns on the volturi because they punt Afton. Which then leads to the question. WHY WOULD ARO BE SO BLOODY STUPID AS TO DO THAT? Ego? I think he's too manipulative for that.
So, without going too far into a tangent. I think the story can't really be completed. She can only really go into spin offs but could kind of lean into the it's going to take x amount of years for another confrontation so for us- the story is done and it's up to the readers to suspect what could happen in the future. However I don't really think published authors lean into the blurring the lines of fiction like that.
Plus the even bigger question... has it been too long for another book? I mean when the twilight hype started I was closer to 10 years old. Now I'm closer to 30. (Ew.) A lot of the fanbase is probably gone or not interest anymore. (Or only cares for the movies) and there's like a 10% chance that they'd pick up another twilight movie after all this time when the main three actors are done with it and two of them shit on it any chance they get by the sound of things. Plus they are all going to look older.

Hi!! Just wanted to ask if you can do a Marcus Volturi x sister reader. Something angsty but also fluffy. I don't have a specific plot in mind so if you can't think of any it's ok. :))
A/N: Hey, and thanks for the request. I'm sorry for the long responding time but I hope you don't mind!
-S
+200ish words.
Marcus is very protective of you. He knows that sometimes he is too protective of you. But he has lost so many in his long lifetime and he isn’t going to let his only biological family die too.
After Didyme’s death Marcus fell into a deep depression. It took him centuries to see the tiniest bits of light that life was still worth living. And one of those lights was you. His sister who never gave up on him even when he was ready to give up on himself.
Being a part of the Volturi coven means that Marcus is technically your superior, but he never treats you as inferior to him. You are his sister, his equal in every sense that would matter to either of you.
Caius and Aro understand the protectiveness of Marcus and mostly let you be alone, meaning that you really didn’t work for the Volturi coven while being a part of it.
Marcus gets you like no other, you almost work as a one singular entity. You read each other like an open book and in general you really didn’t have any secrets when it came to the two of you.
I know that some of these are more general ideas, but I believe Marcus is a very kind and understanding brother who would do anything for you, his only sister.
Feel like you want to support me via Kofi? No preasure tho!

If Jalice's kid had a kid with Marcus x Didyme's and it has to be some combination of their parents' gifts (from what it seems that's how hybrids are) would this gift just be useless 😔
{The ideas are ideaing but I have no concept of logic.}
So since Alice's gift deals with an amplification of her ability to predict people's decisions, and Jasper's comes from his ability to predict people's emotions, I imagine their offspring would be able to trace people's motives. Everything that is pushing them towards one decision or another would be visible, whether that be love, obligation, or reckless adrenaline-seeking. This would be less broad then their parent's gifts, but would allow similar levels of manipulative behavior, especially if they mastered the gift well enough to be able to manipulate which of the influences on a person's decision they actually followed.
I imagine Marcus x Didyme's kid would end up with a gift not dissimilar to Chelsea's. Putting joy into a relationship, basically making it more like Edward and Bella's; essentially an opiate, regardless of the actual quality of the relationship otherwise, prompting withdrawal symptoms if they are separated.
This would make the grandkid... Able to change who people respect enough to make decisions to please? Kind of like a more broad version of the gift the big meta blogs say Carlisle has, except they would never be able to have themself be the person listened to.

Anonymous asked:
Marcus/Didyme, 1+2
Marcus,
If you had asked me to stay, I would’ve. For you, I would’ve endured eternity in dreary Volterra, where I must demonstate public subservience and loyalty to my demanding brother, Aro.
You’re too good for this world, my beloved. You were the first man who asked me for permission to kiss me, who listened to my words when they weren’t saturated with joyful feelings. You always tucked my hair behind my ear whenever my hair fell into my eyes (I had never liked having my hair cut) and brushed your fingers against my cheek as you did so. You told me that I was beautiful in a voice that was sincere and shy, unlike my admirers when I was human.
And despite my insecurities about my gift, you loved me enough to give me space. To tell me in your husky voice why you loved me, and it had nothing to do with my aura of happiness. You were excellent at noticing when I was distressed, something not even Aro could do. You were comforting and sweet and I was so lucky that you loved me too.
How was I to know my brother would do something like this?

Also, Didyme X Marcus Hades and Persephone AU when?
Come on, we have it all.
1) Didyme (Persephone) is related to "Zeus" (Aro), who is a dick.
2) Caius is always Salty (Poseidon).
3) Marcus is a boring bureaucrat who is content with his lot and his stable desk job (Hades), who one day is swept off his feet by the bright and sunny Didyme and tries an arranged martiage with her brother.
4) and at first she hates him and believes he's just like her brother or his other friend but then she discovers he's actually a boring dork that likes to get pegged, and call her a freak but apparently that's her type.
5) the other 2 wives can do added commentary as Athena (Athenodora) and Hera (Sulpicia) because apparently they were really close to ber if life and death is to be believed.
6) She doesn't die and actually manages to elope with Marcus in the Italian Countryside as Athenodora stages a coup with Sulpicia like in Life and Death. They live there happy together and feeding off on stray travelers, but some they don't feed on and actually feed them themselves and help them to find back the road home, it all depends on the strenght of their bonds, for no one who loves someone hard enough and is seeking happiness for them should be killed by anyone.
7) They start a local legend about Pluto and Proserpina having descended upon the living world, hence why I called it a Hades and Persephone AU. Later on they adapt it for the catholic new crowd as the virgin mary and saint joseph, pheraps they even discover the perks of a animal diet, or travel the world together.
8) The possibilities are endless.
