It's been a while, but here it is! There's still much to do, and I hope to be able to work a lot on it over the summer~

What would happen if in someway or form Marcus met Mathilde and Adelbert in Dark Souls 3 setting? What would his reaction be exactly to the two? And how would his beliefs clash against the current state if the world?

Sorry this took so long :D Anyway, this is basically how it would go. Add in a heap of disappointment and angst once he learns the truth about the flames.

Gabi was playing some Dark Souls with @lefrustemangaka the other day when...this happened. 😆 No invaders or mushrooms were safe from Marcus' bare torso in the Darkroot Garden.

Full version of this post, which has @lefrustemangaka's OC Marcus of Astora as guest! They were both mentored by Oscar, so I asked permission to make a little crossover.

I never posted the full version before because it was really long, had more panels than Tumblr's image limit. But I found a way to fix it! The full snippet includes some of Marion's backstory.

The story goes that Marion was dispatched to deal with a weakened Titanite Demon in a small village. However, once they got there, their squirmish alerted a sleeping creature, the much more terrifying Stray Demon, against which they had no chance to win. This marked Marion's first death and how they turned Undead. They had to face two of them every day while locked in the Asylum. On their way out, they snatched the sword of one of the Black Knights who guarded the asylum, as they had seen them using it to effectively keep the demons under control.

A small update for the next test animation!

Cut After a bit of encouragement, I thought "Why not show how messy the rough stages can get?" It also shows how far a project has to go from here until it's fully animated, complete with backgrounds, effects, shading and colors...you know the drill!

This is technically the third stage, after nailing the character designs and the script (which is still getting toyed around with!). Enter the roughest version of the storyboard! I like to keep everything really rough and sloppily drawn, so that if something isn't working out right, it isn't a huge time-sink to try something new. It may look messy, and it is, but it's also a huge time saver in the long run, allowing me plenty of room for experimentation~ ^_^ The next step will be to clean up the roughs, alongside adding in sound and voice acting. No promises on when the next update will happen (thanks work and school), but I'll keep working on it in the interim~ <3

I just wanted to come by and say hi to this lovely artist and my favorite chosen Undead. Just wanted to ask hows it going with you guys since my last ask. Hope everything is well! Marcus don't be simping too much!

I legit just want to come up to Marcus and strike up a conversation, have a fun talk. Speak about our adventures and both our struggles, I just came back from Army Basic training and Advanced Individual Training, so I had to bear through some struggle. Obviously not as much as he did, but with what little phone time I had, I looked at Marcus's showdown with Gwyn, and I saw his determined face and I thought. "If he can fight down what's left of a god for the sake of those around him, then I can surely get through this" So i would thank him for the inspiration he gave me, and I pat him on the back and told him he did good at the end of his journey. Hope he gets along fine with that fair maiden as well!!!

Thank you very much for this heartfelt message. I have always viewed Marcus as a mere stand-in for the Chosen Undead character in my serious comics and have never quite delved into his personality, except in shitposts and asks where even then, it's mostly exaggerated. I have never thought this insignificant undead who couldn't even attain his dream of becoming a well-known knight would go on to inspire someone... I am simply honored. Thank you.

Also, I'm sure Marcus would love to swap stories with you...
