To mark reaching 600 of you following me now, I’ve decided to come back to this and get it done and out there finally!!!

I Will Always Find You will be 7 interconnected short stories playing on the idea of reincarnation with some of the Pedro and Oscar boys. I was originally going to do this a few years ago with each “lifetime” being a full fleshed out story but I just could never dedicate the time to do it. Instead I’m going to try and do them like my late night one shots so the event of the story is the pinnacle of that lifetime and in a way I can reference the other things that would have happened so you can still have an idea of what the whole stories would have been.

I am going to write these out and then choose 1 week in November to post all the stories 1 per day, Monday to Sunday. Below you can find the full list of characters and story themes. Please put in writing on this post if you want to be tagged!

Three pieces of work that I am proud of and why:

This Untitled Marcus Moreno piece, set in the 1960's - why: because the style most closely resembles that of which I love to read, especially the first couple paragraphs.

In The Dark, an Ezra AU set in NYC - why: because of the passages about the city I wrote and the realistic conflict I forced myself to stick to, but also for the nostalgia I have for the feeling of being so inspired while writing it.

Take Me To Church, a Din Djarin western AU - why: because it was the very first thing I ever wrote in my life (outside of school) and while my skills have grown since then (I hope, lol) there are still some passages that I reread and think "you really did that good, girl". ❤

Euclidian Geometry by @leslie-lyman Okay, sure, there’s some smut involved, but really, the way Pero, Jack, and Frankie need each other, find solace in each other and in the reader...I can’t tell you what a beautiful surprise it was to expect wall-to-wall sex but be given deep, deeeep feelings. Not usually a reader of poly-fic myself, but I trust Leslie and if she goes there, I will follow. So glad I did.

How Did You Love 7 by @writeforfandoms This time it’s Jack’s turn to make a play for the chance to stay by your side. As always with Jen’s Jack, I just wanna bask in his warm protectiveness all damn day. And as much as I love Ezra, I have to say he irritated me a little this time...

The Infinity Cube Part 20 by @littlemisspascal Apart from an epilogue coming, this is the final chapter...and it’s a great one. Rae has stolen my heart with this fic...and trapped it inside. If you haven’t started on this one yet and have been waiting for a conclusion, now’s your time.

You’re the Light (Dragonrancher Jack Daniels universe) by @writeforfandoms Now we’re really getting into some mystery as the Thief shows up with some important information about Eggsy and his mom...

Formula 101 - Prologue: September by @littlemisspascal  Rae’s coming strong out of the gate on this one, the first “media fic” AND the first sport / driving fic I’ve ever delved into. It’s teeming with easter eggs not only with its media format and clickable links, but in characters and places from the Pedro universe (as well as a couple of other universes) and some other recognizable faces come up.  So much fun. And if you don’t know anything about F1 racing, you will be taken care of here as Rae uses the format to explain the basics in a format that’s quick and easy. GET IT.

Loss by @radiowallet I feel like when Joel hits there will be so much beautiful angst in this fandom. Cat is starting us out strong by jumping off that “you have no idea what loss is” line from the teaser. Short and poetic, she’ll break your heart with every word.

A Fascination by @iamskyereads  Even though I’m not familiar with the character, I feel like this fic takes the time it needs for Joel to open up and let someone in. And when he does, whoo boy, it is savory and sweet in all the right spicy ways.

Locked Down Part 17: The Bubble, Part 18: The Return, Part 19: The Carpet, Part 20: The Admission and Part 21: The Reveal by @something-tofightfor​ Okay, I meant to read like two chapters per FTLOF, but I had to stand in some long lines this week and needed reading material and I can’t get enough of these two. So now I’m caught up and I want more and I am just hooked on how much these two love and trust one another. How they acknowledge what’s hard and what’s unconventional and how they take care of each other through it even if they’re not together. I’m so in awe of this story and the whole relationship, it feels so alive...

Long Term Position by @blueeyesatnight I love a Max fic where the reader hates him intensely and for good reason, but in the end he’s able to break down barriers and get through to the heart by being no less shitty than he always is. I don’t know how Blue weaves this magic, but here it is.

A Good Man: 4 Days West by @radiowallet I admit that I came upon Cat a little late to jump on the Poorly Wired Circuit wagon (but am looking forward to the novelization!!!!) so I’m excited to be able to get on board at the start of this one. I don’t read Marcus often, but Cat’s gorgeous writing always pulls me in and she has such a deep love of the character that I know I’m in good hands. And a western AU to boot? Yee haw. Sign me up.

The Debt by @prolix-yuy This is one of my new favorites. Pero is such a perfect blend of grumpy and touched here. He’s such an ass but at the same time, knows when to spend his moments of sincerity. I love the subtle yearning, the respect, the unspoken camaraderie. And I love a lady badass. Chef’s kisses and cakes.

Like a Prayer by @unhinged-summer-fun Bailey could have written a straight up, full stop, beak-fucking fic, and she kinda did, but really, that’s just a small part of it. The path there is a lovely build of modern-day magic; the way the life of an everyday woman can catch the ear of an ancient god. And his eye. And his soul. And other parts.

BOBA FETT

The Book of Boba Fett (Bailey’s Version) by @snarwor Look. I am just fine with TBOBF. I liked it just fine and I enjoyed watching it. But I think it could have been so much better. Bailey does too...and she nails it. From letting the Tuskens live, to getting them involved in the fight, giving Boba motivation for redemption, giving Din reason to choose his path, making Cobb and Fennec more active players, and just cutting out the gristle. I love this version. I kind of wish I hadn’t read it because I really really want this to be canon....

UPDATE for 2023

So I've been a little quiet on the posting lately just purely because I couldn't help myself and have bitten off more than I could chew by now having 3 separate writing projects on the go. I am still working on these on the back end and hope to update them more this year.

So with that being said here's my hopes of things from my WIPs/goals I'd like to achieve this year....

My 1st priority is finally getting part one of I Will Always Find You Out.

I have been teasing this project for so long now because I wanted to do it right. My goal is to at least have Oberyn's story published in full by the end of February.

This story is still the biggest project I have ever undertaken because of how the 6 parts intertwine, each one with a different genre and story. I honestly cannot wait to be in a place to share some of these stories with you. Each story will be long too, so plenty for you to get your teeth stuck into and well worth the wait.

Part 3 and 4 of Cherry Bomb.

The adventures of the 20 something year olds in MCU New York continues complete with drunken nights of young adult drama and even some vigilante moonlighting.

Lastly this is a Mando year, so I would like to get into a routine of posting more chapters of Metanoia. I've been stuck trying to get chapter 2 out of my head and onto the page for a little bit now and there are some adjustments I want to make to chapter 1 so I will probably take the first one down to reupload with edits when chapter two is ready but when it is, I am so excited to share this.

The dynamic I have in my mind for Rowan and Mando and how her existence and their relationship makes him question his creed, just satisfies something in me I've yet to get out of the cannon Mando and Grogu relationship.

@pascalpanic Drunk Words (Frankie ‘Catfish’ Morales x Reader) / Sober Thoughts (Frankie Morales x Reader - Part 2) - This fic gave me butterflies. Frankie is so sweet, and the duality of it (drunk/sober) is such a brilliant idea! I would do go pick up drunk Frankie in the middle of the night and then sleep in his arms. That’s the dream. 

@foli-vora More Than Words series (bestfriend!Benny + Frankie Morales x Reader) - I don’t even know where to begin. The friendship with Benny is so good, Frankie is simply Frankie. I can’t wait to read more and find out more about this little triangle going on... In the meantime, here I am, constantly imagining what it would be like to have both Frankie and Benny in my life *sigh*

@softboywriting Mi Alma (Santiago Garcia x Reader) - Okay, so here’s the thing. This story is so beautiful, so incredible, so amazing, that I couldn’t stop thinking about it for DAYS. Like, before going to sleep I would think about stuff that happened in the fic and I would put myself in there, dreaming of a love story like this one. Your writing is perfect, and I can’t wait to read more from you, you beautiful soul. Thank you for everything!

@witchyavenger Wedding Day (Abel Morales x Reader) - Abel ‘Daddy’ Morales. This one shot made me horny AND sad at the same time. It’s the internal struggle between Abel and the Reader, the way they know it’s wrong, but can’t fight the feelings they have for each other. It ruined me and gave me life.

@youvebeenlivingfictionalreplies An Unspoken Rule series (Will ‘Ironhead’ Miller x Reader) AND the Magnetic series (Nathan Bateman x Reader) - The first series is not a recent work but that doesn’t make it less amazing. I read it in less than 24 hours, I couldn’t put it down. The slow burn made my heart ache throughout the fiction, but it was worth it in the end. / Magnetic is not only the name of the series but also the way I would describe it. After I found it, I couldn’t stop reading. I can’t wait to read more!

@waatermelon-sugaar Take Care of Me (Santiago ‘Pope’ Garcia x Reader) - This is exactly how I would expect Santiago to behave. This is so hot and steamy, it sent shivers down my spine. I’ve already read it twice, and I think I’ll read it again, you know, for science... 

@moralesispunk Caramel Latte series (Marcus Moreno x Reader) - Marcus Moreno is the sweetest thing and deserves the world. Thank you for realizing my romantic fantasy of meeting the love of my life at a cafe while reading a book. 

@songsformonkeys The Third Wheel series (Javier Peña x Reader) - I’ve read this fiction in one sitting and OMG, so incredibly written and the story is so good it truly deserves to be published as a real book! 

@astroboots Telltale Heart (Frankie ‘Catfish’ Morales x Reader) - Man, this fic is a wild rollercoaster of emotions. It brought me deep into the story, and it is so well-written, it kinda played like a film inside my head. If Netflix is looking for a Triple Frontier spin-off about Frankie, I’d like to submit astroboots and this fic as the script.

@brandyllyn Doppelgänger (Nathan Bateman x Reader) - The kink I didn’t know I had. I admit I was unsure after reading the summary of the story, but NEVER trust a book by its cover. An AI with the same physical traits as Nathan? That’s such a Nathan move, I’m shocked it wasn’t something included in the film!  This is so Nathan, so hot, so beautifully written, this is everything! 

@frannyzooey Take Me To Church (Din Djarin x Reader Western AU) - I clicked on it for the Hozier reference (I love Hozier with all my heart) and I stayed for the AMAZING story. I read it in like two days as I couldn’t put it down and although it’s an AU, @frannyzooey managed to keep Din Djarin’s traits into the story. Simply beautiful.  

@mxsamwilson One More (Fennec Shand x Reader) - As you said, ‘I just want Fennec to rail me’, and I totally agree. After reading this fic, I needed a minute (or two, or maybe more) to calm down. Please, I need more Fennec content!

Cyare(Series)~ (Din Djarin x Fem!Reader) by @queenofthefaceless - I’ve fangirled over Ari’s talent before in my Fic Recommendations but guess what? I’m going to do it again because the way she writes is just 😚🤌. This fic with the reader and Din’s dynamic is so good, and I can’t wait for more. You can find their masterlist here. 

The Flames of Fate(Series)~ (King!Din x Fem!Reader- Medieval AU) by @im-poe-dameron (Their main blog with equally as fantastic marvel fics is @moonlight-prose ) - there’s only two chapters so far but oh boy is this good so many possibilities and its written so beautifully, I can’t wait for it to resume. 

Quick mention to Hypnotized~ (1980s Din x Fem!reader) also by @im-poe-dameron which is a drabble from the Black Velvet series (One of my favourite fics on here) and oh my Iz.exe stopped functioning after I read this, it’s just short of 1k words but still rendered me speechless. The Traveler(Series)~ (Jack ‘Whiskey” Daniels x Fem!Reader Western AU) by @silksaddle - Oof where do I start? This AU is just written perfectly their writing really transports you to a whole other world with this fic, which takes immense skill particulary because it’s an AU. And Jack’s character in this is just 😚🤌*mwah* the smooth talking rascal that he is. You can find their main masterlist here.

Absence of Judgement(Series)~ (Marcus Moreno x Fem!reader) by @asta-lily - Oh man this fic. The way Lils writes is honestly phenomenal. The talent shines through every chapter, it’s really difficult to effectively lace emotion into fics especially with this trope but she manages to do this flawlessly and in such depth. Ah I’m utterly hooked every sentence just holds onto my attention. You can find her main masterlist here. 

Cursed(Series)~ (Helmut Zemo x Fem!Reader) by @clints-lucky-arrow - If any of you have been keeping up to date with my fic recs y’all know Mack is like a resident recommended writer almost every week, but she just keeps on producing pure gold and I can’t not recommend her wonderful writing. I am in love with this fic the most recent chapter was amazing and though I expected nothing less it blew me away. The depth that she writes the reader and the complexity of the characters is amazing and it just draws you in because it feels so real. I can’t wait for future chapters. Ad Astra(Series)~ (Din Djarin x Fem!Reader) by the lovely @second-stars-totheright (her main blog is @rattlethe-stars) Stars is honestly one of the best writers I know and this fic doesn’t fall short. The most recent chapter that I’ve just finished and it blew me away... I just the way she writes Din and the readers relationship hits different. But not only that when you’re reading it it really transports you into the story and the descriptions are so layered and in depth. If you couldn’t tell already I am in love with this fic. The town of Sol is small. Too small a town for a name so big. The sun looms large above it, blazing down onto the desert strip, a stray patch of cloud not even enough to protect it from the burn. There were days that very sun took up every inch of sky, unforgiving heat carving out its stake in the land and leaving the ground parched in unrelenting thirst. 

It was a trading outpost, one single street off the main trail, meant for those passing through to rest their feet and fill their bellies. A sign broken and forgotten amongst mounds of dirty rocks and the palest patch of grass, left to guide any foolish visitors in its direction. There was a school that doubled as the church on Sundays, the single room filled with chairs that could easily be mistaken as pews. A saloon, the only one for miles, broken windows and crooked floorboards adding to its messy charm. A row of dusty homes, half-filled with folks either too stubborn or too poor to move on, shutters pulled closed, doors locked as tight as they could manage. 

The little town should be thriving, its borders growing wider with each merchant that passed through, but circumstance was cruel and life was unforgiving, and Sol was left to pay these taxes just like so many towns that had come before it.

Blood coated the streets, dried rust staining the tumble weeds that floated through, the ghosts of what was and still is. Desolate. Overrun and overturned time and time again – bandits and thieves ravaging the streets, taking what wasn’t theirs and leaving nothing but anger and caution behind. 

Sheriff Marcus Moreno was no stranger to the pain of living.

He had heard tales of the bloodshed three full moons after the passing of his wife. She had been taken from him much too soon, the ugly realities of bringing a second child into the world bleeding her dry in his arms, the babe gone before he could even take his first breath. It left Marcus with a heavy heart and a daughter to raise, his bed empty and eyes tired. He and Missy had hit the trails shortly after, his badge handed off to his deputy, leaving only his gun on his hip and his kid at his side. 

It was hard at first. Years in a well-kept home with a good woman to help raise his daughter and warm his bed had made the lawman softer than he cared to admit. He had grown used to fires stoked on cold nights, hot meals on the kitchen table, and her quiet strength to help guide his conscience. Marcus had learned long ago that even a good man needed help finding his way from time to time.

Long days in the saddle and nights beneath a cold sky were buried in his past, his body crumbling beneath the rock bed of a life lost and a broken heart. Odd jobs were traded for money, food, and sometimes board, when the hand offering seemed a trustworthy kind. Missy had shouldered it all with him, her hat snug on her head and her skirt pinned to her waist. Never once did she complain, and Marcus loved her all the more for it.

He could feel the realities of this life creeping closer with each turn of the sun and he couldn’t help but wonder how long they could keep pace with time so scattered? Was this the life he wanted for his daughter, her gaze already caught between shades of dark and light. There had been close calls, glimpses of the ugly truth catching them both unaware, his fast hands never quite fast enough to cover her eyes. 

It was an old acquaintance, a bounty hunter with steady hands and mournful eyes, that brought him word of the town beneath the sun, murmured over the rim of his pint, something like longing coloring his words.

Marcus listened to the man, the rasp of his voice from months on the trail, his own son, much younger than Missy, sitting at the bar beside his dad, kicking his boots and reading from a primer. It was a strange sort of painted glass, looking at the two of them, a version of his family twisted by circumstance and making the best of a cruel world. Marcus had wanted to ask what the man’s plan was– for himself, for his son– but it felt too much of prying. 

So instead he asked, “How far west?”

“Four days' ride. Ask for Lou.”

The road into town was empty, but Marcus could feel eyes on them, pearly white shadows peeking out from behind creaking shutters and swinging doors. Each hoof beat felt heavier than the next, until finally his horse stalled, the dig of his boot not even enough to encourage the animal forward. One hand glued to the handle of his six shooter, the other flung out to stop Missy in her tracks. A glance to his left, and another to his right, brown eyes landing on a saloon, the sunlight catching along the open door, the golden glint offsetting the shadows creeping along the weathered steps. 

“Pa?”

Missy’s voice is gentle, softness bleeding out of her hesitancy, and without even looking Marcus can see the way her eyes shift across the same path as his own. 

“Let’s head in.” 

He makes it one step in before the muzzle of a shotgun meets him right between the eyes. It’s instinct that keeps him standing, the cool metal of his own gun in his hand before the door squeaks shut, the barrel pressed into his assailant’s ribs, a breathy grunt pulled from their lips. 

“Fast hands. Not so sure I like that in a man.”

Marcus takes in the person standing in front of him, a different sight than any other hidden behind the threat of death he’s happened upon before. Bright eyes and dark lashes, a curve of a painted lip and the smooth slope of a shoulder, a silk bodice tied tight and a skirt pulled back, just enough to tease his eye line away from her steady aim and strong stance. 

She takes advantage of her devilish distraction, stepping into him, biting back another grunt of pain when his pistol digs that much deeper, slipping gently along the silk boning holding her ribs in and her chest up. The barrel of her shotgun is warm, a breath of heat catching his forehead, trapped beneath the brim of his hat. Behind him a floorboard creaks and for the first time panic swells, the sound of Missy’s own gun cocking in her small hands reaching his ears. 

Time stops short, only their breathing, matched in angry, humid puffs, tracks the passing of the seconds until finally the woman in front of him steps back, eyes dropping briefly to his daughter then back to Marcus, her cheek still resting on the grip of the shotgun, delicate fingers wrapped sweet and snug around the trigger. 

"Well I guess an outlaw with a kid wouldn't be the strangest thing I've ever seen, but I reckon that's not the case here."

“A fair assessment,” Marcus agrees, voice steady, aim true. 

She takes another step back with a jerk of her chin towards the bar. 

“Saddle up.”

She doesn’t wait to see if he plans on accepting her invitation, instead making herself busy behind the counter. 

“I was told to ask for Lou.”

His mention of the man falls flat on the ground beneath his boots, drowned out by the click of the barmaid’s heels. His reluctant hostess sets her gun down on the bar, a final tap to its chamber before she leaves it behind. She turns gracelessly and starts digging through crates, caring little at how the dust flying through the air sticks to her skirt and the peak of leg hidden just beneath, not a stitch of stocking to protect the bare skin. Marcus does his best to not care much for it either. 

“—know I ordered some…been so long…a kid’s been around…ah ha!” 

There’s a pop and a hiss just before a bottle is slid across the bar, not in his direction, but Missy’s.

“They call it pop. I ordered it back when the town was a bit more lively. Something for the young bucks to drink while their parents talked and tied an extra one or two one. Thought it would be good for business. Now these crates just make a nice spot to rest my legs.”  

Missy accepts the bottle with a hesitant glance of her fingers, but doesn’t raise it to her lips, instead looking in Marcus’s direction. He’s quiet for a moment, eyes tracing the glass bottle, lukewarm and pale in color, before slipping back to the woman across from him. Her gaze is soft, a smile cheating at her lips as she watches his daughter. 

It almost feels of fondness. 

Finally he nods at Missy, and she wastes zero time in taking her first sip, a smile chasing a bubble of laughter. 

The woman doesn’t turn back towards him after, instead busying herself again, this time with an unmarked bottle, amber liquid sloshing as she tips it into an empty glass. Careful eyes gauge her deliberate movements, stray beams of sunlight filtering through the dirty windows and catching along the cream color of her bodice, yellowed from age and what must be years spent behind this very bar. She doesn’t speak, but the air is heavy with all that she won’t say aloud, her lips tight around the rim of the glass as she kicks back the whiskey in one swift swallow. 

She pours one more, eyes shifting to Marcus and back, those same steady fingertips pulling out a second glass, this one filled to the brim and slid towards him. 

“You look like a good man.”

The words are dry, desert sand coating her tongue as she looks at him just the same as she had over the barrel of her shotgun, and Marcus feels at her mercy the worse for it all. 

“I–” “Hey!”

He grins, Missy’s stubborn shout ringing up into the rafters, disturbing the cobwebs clinging to the darkened corners.

“We came to help this town, my daughter and me.”

Silence sits thick between them again, the tick of an eyebrow and the tight grip around the neck of a bottle the only sign she heard him. A peek of pink slips between her teeth, licking away any stray taste of the spirit, her lips slipping down in time with her next statement.

“This town is haunted by good men, each one claiming louder than the next of their intentions to save us. What makes you any different than those who came before?”

Marcus tips his head, the brim of his hat hiding the sharp cut of her eyes framed by the soft pin of her curls, her shotgun still resting on the weathered bar top separating them. The pad of his thumb is heavy and gracious on the rim of his glass, the whiskey poured earlier still untouched. His tongue flicks up over the clean cut of his mustache, the wiry hairs catching the salty tang of his sweat.

“The difference, ma’am,” he starts, letting his voice dip slow, a burn of molasses dripping off each one, “is that I don’t believe in ghost stories. Now why don’t we start again. I’m looking for Lou.”

This time she does smile, a flash of teeth and tongue like a cat with a canary in its sights. Her elbows fold in as she leans towards him, the tight lace of her bodice somehow holding her curves in, only the smallest swell of her breast left to steal his attention away. She’s close, just enough for him to taste the whiskey she huffs out with the cut of her laugh, and Marcus suddenly wishes he had taken a sip of his own before now. 

“Well cowboy, you found her.”
