In 2023: My Chemical Romance performed their 62nd show of the 2022-2023 Swarm tour (the first of their Asia-Oceania leg) in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa (Auckland, New Zealand). At this show, Gerard Way wore a dark grey skirt suit and sunglasses, and "FIX FAX FUCK you" was written on the drums. (🖤)

Prompt 11 - Couch

Regulus felt strangely nervous at hosting his brother’s boyfriend, especially since Sirius hadn’t been in this house for years. 

Remus appeared in the kitchen doorway. His stomach audibly rumbled, and Regulus saw a wild, hungry look that he’d never seen on the usually mild face of Remus Lupin. 

“Help yourself,” He said, waving a hand across the food he’d managed to prepare. 

Remus lunged forward and began shovelling food into his mouth at such speed. That Regulus was worried he might accidentally swallow the fork. 

Regulus sat opposite Remus at the table and pulled a plate of toast towards him that Remus hadn’t yet gotten to. He opened the Daily Prophet and began to read. 

He finished his toast and coffee, only then looking up at Remus. He was shocked. The food he’d laid out was gone, devoured by the starving wolf. His eyes glanced over Remus, and he swore he still looked hungry. 

Regulus stood and pulled out a few more food items from the pantry.

“Come on, we can go up to the library and do some research.” He wandered out of the kitchen and hoped Remus was following him, as he couldn’t hear him. 

Once they were in the library, Remus flung himself onto the couch. 

“I don’t think I’m going to be any good at researching for a bit. My eyes are tired.” He grunted as he forced his too-long form into the black leather.

“That’s fine. You can go back to your room if you want, get some sleep?” Regulus said as he started pulling books down from the shelves. 

Remus was staring at him suspiciously. 

“Why?” 

“Why, what?” Regulus responded as he flicked to the index at the back of his book. 

“Why are you being so kind to me? It’s unnerving.” Remus’s voice kept cracking every other word. 

“Because Sirius would kill me if I wasn’t.” Remus’s chin quivered at Sirius’s name. “Well, that, and out of all my brother’s friends, you’re the least annoying.” Remus huffed a laugh. 

“What about James?”

“Oh, no. He’s still the most annoying.” Remus chuckled at him and then yawned. “Get some sleep. Lupin. I need that brain of yours to figure out where the rest of the Horcruxes are. 

“So we’re not tracking Sirius down for Voldemort then?” Remus asked sarcastically. 

“Oh, we are.” He smirked as he found the page he was looking for. “But I have it on very good authority that wherever a Horcrux is, Sirius will also be there.” Remus rolled his eyes and settled back down, his soft snores and the occasional turn of a page the only noise in the Black family library.

Gunnison Sage-grouse (Centrocercus minimus)

Conservation Status- Endangered

Habitat- Western Colorado; Eastern Utah

Size (Weight/Length)- 2 kg; 40 cm

Diet- Sage leaves; Insects

Cool Facts- While maybe not the most well known bird, the Gunnison sage-grouse is an American icon. Gathering in large groups, prize males jostle for the best areas and with dawn their displays begin. Swallowing a gallon of air and pushing it into their throat pouches, the males make a booming noise to attract females. The male with the most stunning tail, thickest neck plumage, and loudest call ends up with all the females in the group. Of course, if a rival gets too rowdy the head male won’t be afraid to chase them off with a few pecks and sharp talons. Hens then gather in small groups to create nests and raise their chicks.

Still one of my favorite pictures caught ! The ONLY moment on tour when MITO took over completely and I blacked out on stage ! The only documented picture that captures the real embodiment of what Mito really looks like. Unfortunately I believe this is the only picture that was ever taken when I was completely succumbed to one of my personality’s! It’s as real as it gets. It was through one of the most extreme and painful yet delirious episodes yet I had to face the stage. But this feels too real to me that I sometimes had a hard time looking at this picture! To know what evil is you must first understand where it comes from ! To be able to fight against the dark you must first have an understanding where the dark is hiding and what from! Making sure by learning from it! you don’t engulf one’s self to it’s spell completely ! Mito is the barrier the force that brings light to the dark or rather never lets the dark breach into my soul ! But remember your only given the right amount that you can always handle ! Trust ! It’s always in the eyes
