El peso del vacío

Supongo que estoy algo cansado. De la trivialidad, del tiempo rutinario, de las personas con máscaras. Supongo que me agobia un poco existir como una mancha en la pared: la huella que alguien dejó y nadie limpia. Supongo que no he barrido aún el polvo de los escombros emocionales, la basura del tiempo, el despojo de un instante que sólo yo me empeño en recordar. Supongo que estoy un tanto incompleto, como alguien que olvidó su segundo nombre por tantos años de desuso. Supongo también que tengo miedo. De querer, de ser querido, de estar al alcance de un suspiro. Supongo que al final mis decisiones han terminado por ahogarme, y las consecuencias se tornan ineludibles. Sé que voy a morir por el impacto, y aun así salto. Pero el abismo sólo es una tiniebla acuosa, sin paisajes velados, siquiera. El abismo es un vacío y el salto no tiene ningún mérito de heroísmo. Caigo como cae una hoja en el otoño, o como se rinden al viento las palabras, y se van lejos, adonde nadie pueda volver a escucharlas o devolverles algún significado. Caigo porque estoy algo cansado, casi agobiado de existir como esa mancha: un error que nadie se empeña en corregir.
