Crime Number #1: Lizzy existing does not distress me. What distresses me is that she seems to deliberately not be held to the same standards as other characters. Why does Lizzy get to break canon [when there are ways to make her make sense within the narrative] but other characters are expected to fit in as perfectly as possible?

Crime Number #2: Why does Lizzy never grow? Why does she never change for better or worse? Why does she not have the emotional intelligence to see that the world does not revolve around her, no matter who raised her? And most importantly, why does she not have any friends or confidantes outside of the Salvatores and Mikaelsons and Petrovas to lean on? Because right now, you could replace her with a rock wearing googly eyes, a purple wig and make up and canon would go on as it does. She has no lasting impact, canonically, and that's sad.

So anyway.

If I change canon, I'm god modding. You already hate that she exists. I refuse to make her make sense because it makes you mad more than sense, and none of my besties care this much mate.

If I don't change canon, she's a rock. (By the way that's genuinely fucking funny and I love it, I need to make a rock like that. It's so true, she's not hard to imitate, very simple aesthetic requirements. I really enjoyed getting a giggle out of that omg)
