Why hire a removal company?
Hiring a removal company for tasks like office removals or residential moves can offer several advantages:
Tumblr media
Expertise and Experience: Professional movers have experience in handling various items, from delicate electronics to bulky furniture. They know the best packing and handling techniques to ensure items are transported safely.
Efficiency and Speed: These companies are efficient in organizing and executing moves. They have the manpower and equipment to expedite the process, potentially saving you time and effort.
Safety and Insurance: Reputable removal companies often provide insurance coverage for your belongings during the move. This ensures that in case of any damage or loss, you have a means of compensation.
Specialized Equipment: They have the necessary tools and equipment to move heavy or specialized items safely. This includes dollies, ramps, lifts, and more.
Reduced Stress: Handling a move, whether it's a home or office, can be stressful. Hiring professionals allows you to delegate the responsibility, reducing stress and allowing you to focus on other aspects of the move.
Customized Services: Removal companies often offer various packages or services tailored to your specific needs. This could include packing, unpacking, storage options, and more.
Cost-Effective in the Long Run: While it might seem like an added expense, considering the time, effort, and potential risks involved in a DIY move, hiring professionals can be cost-effective in the long run.
Ultimately, the decision to hire a removal company depends on your specific circumstances, such as the size of the move, your budget, and your preferences for handling the relocation process.

Match Review: Arsenal 1-1 Manchester United (3-5 on penalties)
😎😎😎😎😎
Tumblr media
Fuck Arsenal, fuck this referee, and thank fuck we're through.
It wasn't pretty, but Manchester United rode their luck and - thanks in no small part to Altay Bayindir's heroics in goal - we survived to penalties and let the cold mentality take over as we beat Arsenal 5-3 on penalties.
Our Turkish second keeper saved penalties in both open play (Odegaard) and the shootout (Havertz) to secure United's spot in the Fourth Round. This continues the trend of Arsenal being eliminated early under the lego man, Mikel Arteta, but also makes Bayindir the first keeper on record to have saved pens in the main game and the shootout. The stuff of legend.
Tumblr media
The game actually started poorly. Both sides were petulant and playing scrappy football, though the weakened Arsenal side did look the much better side of the two for the first 45.
United picked up several bookings, but it was two quickfire yellow cards in the second half from the notorious high IQ of Diogo Dalot that changed the game entirely.
Before that, a rare United attack saw Garnacho, Hojlund and Bruno Fernandes break and the Argentine bypass the Dane to set up the captain for a stunning, powerful finish to give the visitors the lead.
After Dalot's dismissal though, Arsenal quickly found the net with a scrambled effort in the box, and then kept the boot on United's neck as they pushed hard for a winner.
Tumblr media
Speaking of necks, Kai Havertz went down like he'd been shot when he glanced into Harry Maguire. Cue drama. Big time scrap, love it.
Mykonos Maguire appeared, with Big H going after the "fucking shithouse" of Havertz and players from both sides squaring off. Several Arsenal fans pointed out how Ugarte - shorter than Havertz - tried to headbutt him (they both butted heads) but somehow they missed this friendly neck grab. Huh. Interesting.
Luckily for us Odegaard hit a meh penalty and Bayindir dived the right way, keeping the score 1-1 and United in the tie.
Tumblr media
Extra time came and went, with Zirkzee on for Hojlund (and the better striker of the two with some good holdup play and decisions), Amad on for Garnacho, Yoro on for Maguire, Collyer for Mainoo, and Malacia for Ugarte.
Thus it was penalty time. Bruno, Amad, Yoro, Licha and Zirkzee. All five took excellent penalties, and the BALLS to have three subs step up is huge. Especially young Leny Yoro and especially the underfire Joshua Zirkzee. Mentality monsters. Maybe there is hope for United.
Tumblr media
The game was turgid in large parts, but it's hard not to be elated in the aftermath. United rode out the storm and came through on the other side. Arsenal, despite the ref's help and a man advantage, couldn't handle the pressure and faltered. Again.
Tumblr media
Shoutout to Amad Diallo, who is thriving under Amorim after ETH by the way. I like the Dutchman but his big mistake was under-utilising this kid.
Tumblr media
Arsenal fans will rightly be pissed off with their team, especially with xG like this. They missed big chances, and even aside from big saves from Bayindir and the line clearance from De Ligt, they just weren't good enough. £100m Rice whiffing past the far post under near-zero pressure... you love to see it.
Tumblr media
You could tell the game was one of those proper shitshows, because the official United account tweeted the below. When the sanitised accounts are speaking up, you know you fucked up.
Tumblr media
Next up in the cup are Leicester City, and a return to Old Trafford for Ruud Van Nistelrooy - whom Ruben Amorim said he's excited to meet having only spoken over the phone.
Next up in the league: Southampton this Thursday, at home, 8pm.
We NEED a good win here. Compound their misery, build some confidence, build some goal difference, and turn two good results versus Liverpool and Arsenal into a run. Coming up we have Brighton, Rangers, Fulham, Steaua București, Palace, Leicester (cup), Spurs, Everton... there's no reason we can't beat all of those teams ahead of us there. I doubt we will, but we could, and imagine how much higher up the table we could be later in February. Hard work, diligent listening to the manager, buy into his plan, profit.

MUN 2-2 LEE: A Vertical Slice of Life Under ten Hag
…Low to De Gea's near post and it flies straight through his hands and intothe bottom corner. 1-0 Brentford.
A pout, an exasperated crossing of the arms. A wincing usually characteristic of a poor, beaten canine who beared witness to a raised fist.
It was at this point, a mere 100 or so minutes into the 2022-23 Premier League Season, that I was ready for the towel to be thrown. I‘d take my ball and go home, numb after the frustrations a ten year epoch of darkness following the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson had brought on. I had heard this bothersome tune before under Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, and finally Ole. As sterile City and Lilliputian Liverpool claimed trophies like Larry King claimed spouses, we languished in mediocrity. Last season felt like the the last bout of a once-mighty fighter‘s career; the fight that’d driven them to flee the arena they once dominated out of sheer embarrassment, not to mention a touch of brain damage.
What followed felt like football’s answer to the Shinkansen: in what felt like moments, the scenery changed at blinding pace. In the blink of an eye, we were so far from where we had boarded. And the bullet train conductor was none other than the Vibing Dutchman, Erik ten Hag.
MUN 2-1 LIV. Casemiro. MNU 3-1 ARS. Casemiro. MUN 2-0 TOT. Casemiro’s header to equalize at Stamford Bridge. Garnacho accelerating past Fulham’s defense to deliver the killing blow at Craven Cottage. Rashford unlocking the Ultra Instinct. Casemiro. Ripping out the mean blue hearts of our noisy neighbors, 2-1. Casemiro. Old Trafford a fortress once more. Casemiro. CASEMIRO. CASEMIRO!
The highs remind us of what the sun felt like on our pale, downtrodden faces. They reminded us that football is about passion, bringing out the best in oneself, and most essentially: it’s fun.
But could it be possible that, instead of watching this hero‘s journey through until its natural end, when the ring is thrown into the fires of Mount Doom, when the young Jedi resists the dark side and defeats the evil emperor, we might have wanted the protagonist to become the Legend before it was earned? Was winning the league ever really supposed to happen this year?
Ten Hag has done so much in so little time because he’s instilled a very tangible sense of standards among this squad. They press cohesively, like a white blood cell surrounding and obliterating a harmful foreign substance. The center-halves, Licha and Varane, have the same rabid intensity and methodical coolness (respectively) that we saw during the halcyon days of Vidic and Ferdinand and sadly took for granted. The midfield takes bold steps toward the penalty box and creates chances instead of a constant rotation of metronomic sideways passes. And our attackers finish those chances! Imagine that.
But Wednesday night versus Leeds showed us that there is much left in the hourglass of our hero’s journey. We lack quality and depth in midfield, our attackers aside from Rashford are inconsistent, and our goalkeeper, once the lone bright spot of a floundering club, has reached obsolescence in the modern game.
The shortcomings ring a louder bell, but there are positives to be found. Our spirit was bruised and battered at 2-0, but we showed grit and determination as we scored two in quick succession to equal their total. And that second goal, the one that sent the Stretford End into an animalistic fury, was from our star boy, Jadon Sancho, returning from a long hiatus masterminded by ten Hag. Of the many pieces of evidence to be used in the Court of Man Management, such as the handling of the Ronaldo Debacle, Garnacho’s habitual tardiness, and Luke Shaw’s wavering motivation on the pitch and in the kitchen, there is perhaps no greater show of ten Hag’s skill in dealing with these volatile personalities than his rehabilitation of Sancho. He seems a man made new, with a confidence that can highlight the natural flair and calm lethality in his game that we hope can continue for many years.
Wednesday night was a microcosm of the season so far. Many shortcomings that hopefully only take a summer to resolve. But many positives that ought to have Reds from all four corners of the world delighted for the daylight shining through the thick canopy of Liverpool and City success.
We are impressive. Most impressive. But we are not Jedi yet.

Man Utd could include six players in Kylian Mbappe transfer swap to match record Saudi bid
Tumblr media
Man Utd could include six players in Kylian Mbappe transfer swap to match record Saudi bid Manchester United, among several other clubs, have shown interest in signing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain during this summer transfer window. However, they might not have the financial capability to match Al-Hilal's potential offer.  Nevertheless, Manchester United does possess a pool of fringe players that could entice PSG into engaging in negotiations. PSG has made it clear that they intend to sell Kylian Mbappe this summer since he will become a free agent next year, instead of exercising the one-year extension in his current contract. Even though the French international has expressed his desire to stay with the club, interested parties will try to persuade him to consider other options. Al-Hilal, a Saudi side, has reportedly had a massive £259 million bid for Mbappe accepted and is willing to offer him an astounding £13.3 million per week, breaking sporting records effortlessly. However, Manchester United, along with other Premier League clubs, has shown interest in the 24-year-old forward. Manager Erik ten Hag might push the higher-ups at Old Trafford to initiate talks with PSG for a players-plus-cash deal.  According to Transfermarkt, the proposed deal could total £130 million, and SoccerDaily has highlighted six players that the Red Devils could include in the offer for Mbappe. Diogo Dalot - £35m To finance the acquisition of Mbappe, certain compromises will be necessary, and one potential solution is to consider letting go of a right-back.  Given Aaron Wan-Bissaka's growth under Ten Hag's coaching, he has become more robust defensively.  Therefore, allowing Dalot to depart could significantly lower the cost of Mbappe's transfer - and Wan-Bissaka seems like a perfect replacement for Achraf Hakimi, who wishes to leave the club. Donny van de Beek - £11m PSG has shown a willingness to give former Premier League players the opportunity to revive their careers at their club, and Van de Beek could be the next candidate in line.  The Dutch midfielder is among several players expected to be transferred during the summer, and a move to the Parc des Princes would be highly appealing to him. Amad Diallo - £15m Even though Ten Hag has expressed interest in working with Diallo in the upcoming season, it raises questions about how the winger would fit into the team's plans if Mbappe joins the club.  In this scenario, it might be reasonable to consider letting Diallo leave as part of the deal, particularly if a sell-on clause could be included in his contract. This way, the club can ensure a fair arrangement for all parties involved. Anthony Martial - £13m PSG is in dire need of a striker, and Martial appears to be the perfect choice for the club, given his successful stint in Ligue 1 in the past.  While the former Monaco player is currently deemed surplus to requirements at Manchester United, no firm offers for his services have materialized thus far. However, given his potential fit and prior success in the French league, PSG could be an ideal destination for him to reignite his career. Jadon Sancho - £39m In addition to Dalot, another high-profile player may have to move to France to help lower the cost of acquiring Mbappe. Sancho, who has faced challenges in shining in the Premier League since his transfer from Borussia Dortmund, could potentially rediscover his previous form with a change of scenery.  PSG might consider taking this risk, especially now that Lionel Messi has left the club, making room for new attacking talents. Bringing in Sancho could prove to be a strategic move for PSG to strengthen their squad and bolster their chances of success. Fred - £17m With Fred's potential departure from Manchester United this summer, he could be viewed as a valuable depth option for PSG's midfield. While there is interest from clubs like Fulham in acquiring the Brazil international, Ten Hag might prefer facilitating a move abroad rather than to a Premier League rival.  PSG could consider Fred as a suitable addition to their squad, providing depth and quality to their midfield options, thus improving their chances of success in various competitions.
Arsenal bứt tốc, Man City có đuổi kịp?
Trận thắng MU không chỉ giúp Arsenal loại bỏ một đối thủ cạnh tranh, mà còn duy trì khoảng cách 5 điểm với Man City (đá ít hơn 1 trận). Cũng ở vòng 21, "nửa xanh thành Manchester" đánh bại Wolverhampton 3-0 nhờ cú hat-trick của Erling Haaland.
Man City đang phải đối diện thực tế quá nghiệt ngã.

Season review: 2022/23
It was a solid season for Manchester United, finishing in third place and thus returning to the Champions League, as well as snagging the Carabao Cup in the process too.
Digging deeper though, how good was the season? How well did the players - and manager Erik Ten Hag - do in the grand scheme of things?
Tumblr media
David De Gea - 7/10. The beleaguered keeper is a conundrum. He won the EPL Golden Glove for the most clean sheets and made some sensational saves, but the stats don't lie: 5 major errors in all competitions, a nearly non-existent cross claiming percentage, and a surprisingly lower than thought shot block percentage. The reality is that the now-departed Spaniard is a United great and should be respected and fondly remembered for the good times, but his time was most definitely up. Too weak in the air, with his feet, and with his distribution, the saving grace for De Gea was his Premier League accolade.
Heaton - N/A. Didn't play enough to really question his ability. A reliable backup if necessary.
Wan Bissaka - 7/10. Started the season off poorly and fell behind Diogo Dalot quickly, but bounced back later in the year. Seems much more confident in his understanding of team tactics and positioning, which has enhanced his attacking movement, but he still lacks in awareness and decision making.
Dalot - 7/10. Started the season off well and fell behind AWB later in the year. He's a much more rounded full back or wing back for the attack/defence duties, and links with Antony well, but he will need to find another level this season else risk being replaced next summer by the likes of Jeremie Frimpong.
Maguire - 5/10. He's strong in the air but hardly scores from set pieces with his height and strength. Defensively he's good when the team's back is against the wall, and he's a decent dribbler, but his distribution is so so and his lack of awareness is criminal. The man has seemingly no peripheral vision and it's a danger to the back line.
Lindelof - 7/10. A good end to the season saved Victor Lindelöf. His run of form in place of the injured Martinez showed his composure on the ball and passing range, but he still lacks the world class drive and vision that Lissandro offers, as well as the confidence in the air. Still, a good backup to have.
Varane - 7.5/10. The Rolls Royce of defenders oozes class, but his injury issues have been and continue to be an issue.
Martinez - 9/10. The Butcher. My player of the season. He's short, fiesty, and just an all round baller. Many argue we miss Casemiro more than him or Rashford when out, but I disagree. I think with Case in and LM out we're so much weaker at handling teams pressing us. So glad we got him and not Timber.
Malacia - 6/10. A decent season but nothing more from the Dutchman. He has the right physical attributes and personality to do well, so it's not game over at all, but Shaw is levels above him currently - though he has shown glimpses of the gem he could become.
Shaw - 7.5/10. Shaw is one of the best, if not THE best, Left Backs in the league. His positioning and awareness is far better when next to Martinez, and even Lindelof, and he provides on the offensive. He could have done a bit more on that front this season, but the world cup might have taken a bit of the wind out of his sails.
Tumblr media
Sabitzer - 6/10. He was competent and professional, and looked promising at times, but injury hampered a loan spell and killed any potential showcase to secure a permanent move.
Van De Beek - N/A. Injury stricken.
Fred - 7/10. A good season for Fred, albeit marred by the occasional howler. This is why he's a backup CM, and why a sale to Fulham or whoever isn't that awful. Useful but flawed, but when he's good...
McTominay - 6/10. An uninspiring season from McSauce, dotted with a few good moments - especially early doors. I think he's being utilised wrongly, and perhaps better suits a Fellaini role as a physical CAM to either bully defenders or surprise people with his technical ability.
Casemiro - 8.5/10. If he could avoid getting suspended every 5 seconds he'd be at a 9 or higher. Keeps the team ticking, scored some crucial goals, and brings much needed composure.
Fernandes - 8/10. The creative maestro who, if he had a proper CF, would have similar stats to KDB. We must not waste his output, but equally he has to cut out a few of his stroppy moments too.
Eriksen - 7/10. Reliable, creative, but ageing. He's a health risk with his heart more than an injury risk, and his lack of pace or defensive involvement is an issue - and why Mount is such a good signing.
Tumblr media
Sancho - 6.5/10. Some shining moments after his return from special the Netherlands training camp he went to but not much to write home about. It feels like something might be going on behind the scenes which, if true, is a shame, because he oozes skill. Sancho is incredibly talented and could really achieve great things at United.
Pellistri - 7/10. His appearances were few but when he played, he played. He was direct, loves to run at defenders, and he compensates for his small stature with agility and tenacity. He's wiley, and United have lacked that impetus on the RW with Antony still settling in and Sancho wobbly.
Garnacho - 8/10. Wonderkid. A little raw but he has pace, skill, vision, and bags of energy. He's direct but knows when to slow play down, and he can score a mean goal. More gametime next year for sure.
Elanga - 6.5/10. He needs a loan or to be sold. Plenty of talent but it feels like he needs a fresh start having burned out under Ole and not really rekindled that fire under ETH. Maybe preseason though...
Martial - 5/10. Made of glass. "Availability is the best kind of ability" say football coaches, but our would-be number 9 is never available and, when he is, it's not for long enough to find form. A class player, like a Saha Lite, but time's up on the Frenchman after a feeble year.
Weghorst - 5/10. Loved his cup goal and crying at Old Trafford but the man missed a million sitters. Good energy, decent loan, but ultimately poor.
Antony - 7/10. Like Lindelöf, he grew better as the season went on. He has the technique but is so predictable on his left foot. Robben was too, but he was so good with it that it didn't matter. Antony needs to get better on his left or use his right more. Either way, he stopped just slowing down play and cutting back in and actually started to push past players, perform 1v1s, and swing crosses in. His ball retention and pass accuracy are very high, which is incredibly reliable when trying to move in Rashford/Bruno/the CF for attacking opportunities, so if ETH can get more out of Antony... oh boy.
Rashford - 8/10. A naff end to the season stole half a point off this score. 30 goals in a season is incredible, and the first since RVP did it is not to be shirked at, but this 'mega season' was similarly matched by the 'past it' Mo Salah who also got 30 goals, and actually got 16 assists in all comps too - 5 more than Marcus. The point here isn't to diss MR, but show that he had a beautiful post-WC purple patch unmatched in any of the top leagues, but that patch fizzled out. With a CF like Harry Kane... his lack of goals might have been replaced with assists, who knows, but this is Ten Hag's challenge for next season: keep Rashford at this level at least, and have others help him shoulder the burden of getting United wins.
Tumblr media
Erik Ten Hag - 8/10. Winning a first season trophy AND securing top four is a good start, and he's said it himself: it's good, but not enough. That attitude will do him well going forward, and if he can rebuild the squad in his image, to fit his tactical plans... perhaps we could see a title back at Old Trafford after far too long without one.
Season rating - 8/10. It got too close for comfort at the end, and there were some stinker performance in the mix - especially in April - but ultimately we got the job done, won a cup, and made another final, all despite no proper CF, Martinez and Eriksen injured for large periods, Casemiro suspended, and a goalkeeper who loves to hoof it to the opposition at any opportunity.
Roll on new signings and the new season. It should be a blast.

From the Guinness council estate in Chelsea, to being a pro footballer, the face of Burberry, on to big starring roles, this intelligent and thoughtful young man is hoping to occupy the same cultural position as his heroes De Niro and Gary Oldman.
“I’m about to start a Frankenstein for Fox report, directed by Paul McGuigan. And I’ve just finished the new John Boorman film, Queen and Country which is the sequel to Hope and Glory.
I play Bill, the character who in the original film was 11 and now in this film is 18 and just starting national service in 1952. Luckily he doesn’t get sent off to Korea, he just gets to stay in the camp and teach the other soldiers how to type. He’s clever and knows how to work the system. From my point of view, what was interesting is that it’s a coming-of-age story filled with these  incredibly interesting and eccentric characters, such as the RSM and all the other officers who played by great actors such as Richard E Grant and David Thewlis.
Some of the other recruits are confrontational and rebellious but my character – in essence the young John Boorman – is much more thoughtful. He’s a dreamer and a thinker.
What came out of doing this is realising that National Service was no bad thing. Yes, you have to do the marching, obey orders and do the square bashing, but everyone I interviewed who’d done it said they had a real laugh. They said it was the making of them.
What’s interesting is that in 1952 all the officers had already fought in the Second World War and sacrificed a lot for their country but these kids are about to experience the 60s. Rock n roll and freedom is coming.
Whatever you do in life, you’ll essentially be building upon a character for yourself. When I was 13 or 14 I was six-foot and had size 10 feet. I was bigger than my teachers and they had no power over me. I think I actually felt a little lost. I realise that an experience even as extreme as National Service can be a really defining moment. A constraining, confined situation helps you thrive. Of course some went to fight – in Korea or Malaysia or Suez – but there are upsides even I can see.
I’d love to make more stuff similar to the people who are my heroes like Gary Oldman and Tim Roth, but I think when they started their careers, the films the came out that had a lot more energy and maybe more social resentment. In the 80’s, the work of Alan Clarke and Ken Loach got more left-wing as society was going more right-wing. Today seems blander in may respects.
Many of my friends feel a bit lost and, to a certain extent, angry. We still all play football together and we walk around Fulham, which essentially is OUR neighbourhood. You see the new build luxury apartments along the river and million pound conversions of council houses and you ask yourself ‘where am I going to live? How can I have a family?’
I’m a very lucky man. I didn’t really have any training. I just really loved films. So I put myself on up casting website and got a couple short films and then did a play and then I got an agent. I’ve been really busy since then.

Man Utd could include six players in Kylian Mbappe transfer swap to match record Saudi bid
