Big sisters mean business! While newborn Mwangaza nurses from mum, five-year-old Mwitu — Mweya’s firstborn and Mwangaza’s big sister — squeezes her way into the frame and completes the family portrait. (She may have also just been coveting Mweya’s stick!)

Just like her mother, Mwitu has always been feisty. Although she is fully wild, we have the unique privilege of watching her grow up, because Mweya continues to visit ‘home’ and invites us into her family’s life. As the years progress, we look toward to seeing little Mwangaza’s personality take shape, too!

Faunus evolution Arc edition

River elephant

In port class he talks about Hippo faunus as he shows a video of them however jaune knew something was wrong.

Jaune: professor port, those aren't Hippo faunus they're river elephants.

Mr port: What, how can you tell?

Jaune: well..

River elephant faunus: Yeah buddy!!!

Other river elephant faunus: Yeah buddy!!!

Jaune: my great great great great grandfather was a river elephant.

Ruby: They don't seem afraid of Grimm.

Jaune: yeah did I really afraid of anything they're just very aggressive to anything whether they're grimm or not.

Fun fact: River elephants are actually elephants that evolved adapting to a Hippo lifestyle.They adapted to an omnivorous diet eating plants and crustaceans and of course they are still at threat by predators but they have shown they handle even the biggest threat.

Grazing gorgon

Snow has come to the city of Argus as saphorn arc and her wife terra arc were out with their son Adrian arc as he plays in the snow at the park.

Terra: Adrian really loves the snow.

Saphorn: yeah he does, hey let's get some hot chocolate.

Terra: yeah, wait who's going to stay and watch Adrian.

Saphorn: he'll be fine my parents left us alone many times so it's fine.

The two got up and left as their son continued to play when his little stomach growled as Adrian looked for his mother a faunus wearing a white mask picked him up and ran into the woods.

Adam looks out from the woods before turning to a white fang member. "Those two were idiots leaving their son alone now he will be an example why the White fang shouldn't be messed with."

Another white fang member approaches Adam. "Uh Adam maybe we should return the kid."

Adam: what!? Why!

The member points towards some trees which confuses him until he makes his way over and looks to see the white fang member who took Adrian dead lying in the snow.

Adam looks to see Adrian feasting in the corpse.

Adam: .....

Minutes later

Saphorn and terra return to find Adrian crawling towards them.

Saphorn: see I told you, wait is that blood.

Terra: oh no please let it be a squirrel and not another pet, we still recovering from the neighbor cat incident.

Saphorn: To be fair that pussy cat had it coming.

The two took their son home as Adam watched them leave. "Note to self make sure kid isn't a faunus killing machine."

Fun fact: grazing gorgon will actually eat carrion, eggs and small mammals to expand their diet and in some cases they will actually follow mammoths for food in some cases they will be attacked by sabertooth or other predators in which in the end the grazing Gorgon will feast upon the would be attacker.

Winter tryant

Weiss was putting makeup on when her brother walked in making her sighs. "what is it Whitley?"

Whitley: what can't a brother see her sister.

Weiss: I know you whitley what is it you want.

Whitley: I just don't get how you got yourself a boyfriend, you sure you didn't use your psychotropic pheromones.

Weiss smirks. "Of course I did once but well let's just say I learned my lesson very well~."

Before Whitley can ask the doorbell rang as weiss immediately rush down stairs as the rest of the family arrives when Weiss opened the door revealing a very tall blonde teen with two antlers on his head as Jacques eyes widen in fear while winter, Willow and Whitley all have a bright blush on there face.

Weiss: Family meet Jaune arc, my boyfriend.

Jaune: it's nice to meet you all.

Jacques finally found his voice. "Wait arc!? I know that family, they're nothing more than a bunch of fuck up bastards and sluts."

Jaune: Excuse me what was that.

Jacques: You heard me brat.

Jaune: I believe you should apologize before I do something I might regret.

Jacques: Here's your apologies!

Jacques: Oh shit

Jaune:

Jacques ran screaming as jaune chases after him leaving Weiss with the rest of her family.

Willow: so Weiss your boyfriend is something else~

Winter: indeed~

Whitley: Said Weiss are you-

Weiss: I'm willing to share with him because he is a big handful especially for my teammates.

Fun fact: winter tryants are tyrannosaurus Rex the evolve for the coldest areas of the ark and their antlers on their head help with fighting against the Charfka telepathic abilities and to flip them over.

Night wolf chimp

We found jaune looking through his family tree book with his teammates and team rwby having a good time when they get to jaune mother family which wasn't so cheerful.

Blake: uh jaune why are their pictures of random people and faunus?

Jaune: oh right, they are my mothers family slaves she doesn't talk much about her past but my mom's side weren't exactly the kindness or nicest faunus in fact it's a reason why bandits keep their fires lit at night.

Nora: jaune-jaune your family are mixed faunus so what was your mother.

Jaune: believe it or not my mother was a cross between chimp and bonobo faunus becoming the first ever hybrids.

Ren: I'm guessing they didn't have a courtship.

Jaune: from what Mom told me, the males took the females after killing the males and forced them to have children with them. Over time my mother and few others become the first hybrids to carry on their nightly raids talking villages camps and even small sediments on Islands however over time we develop a relationship with a few well the rest of the time they view them as pests. My mother was lucky enough to find my father after that she gave of her old ways and married my father and started a family.

Both teams can hear the regret in jaune voices. "Hey if it's anything, my mother is a bandit who abandon me and Ruby's father."

Jaune smiles towards yang. "A little bit but I can learn from this, we make our own future and not let our parents past get in the way."

Pyrrha: hey jaune what about your father, and his side of the family.

Jaune: uh well that's for another time.

Fun fact: night wolf chimps hunt during Dawn going after mammals, birds, lizards, bugs, terrasaurs, smaller dinosaurs, fruits and larger dinosaurs which is rare. They are known to have some relationships with other great evolve apes like kudo kubwa even assist in combat with a meal at the end of it.

Fun Fact! When a baby elephant is born, the entire herd approach and tend to the mother and newborn child. It should be noted that this herd is entirely female, save for the males too young to reproduce.

notes. — idk. this has been incessantly on my brain pretty much from the moment i  woke up today, even to the point where i was writing half of this at  the laundromat lmao. mother’s day yesterday had me feeling some type of way, so here have some fun headcanons from a strange eldest daughter!!!! (i might end up doing a set of these for gojo x reader too 🤔)

⋆ 「 — he’s not your biological son, but you’ve been around since you started seeing toji when megumi was still a baby. but now, a few years later, you might as well be his real mother. you certainly act like it and feel like it, so toji gladly initiates the conversation about official adoption. it just makes sense. you eventually explain the situation to megumi as best as you can simply so that he doesn't grow up thinking he was lied to or anything of the sort, but as far as he's concerned, you're his mom whether it's by blood or not.

⋆ 「 — and oh, megumi’s a mama’s boy. i imagine he’s just a little bit of a healthier kid vs. canon given the better family situation, but he’s still always a bit of a grumpy baby, appreciating his autonomy and trying to be as self-sufficient and mature as he can be. but he’ll most certainly run to you when he needs help, is truly hurt, or just needing a bit of comfort. you’ve always treated him so softly and kindly with understanding, so he honestly feels more comfortable coming to you most of the time instead of his dad.

⋆ 「 — he likes the way you organize the bookshelf in his room or fold and sort his clothes in special little ways. he gets upset any time toji tries to put a book back in the wrong place or can’t figure out where his damn socks are. gumi will scowl and say, “that’s not where it goes.” or go deadpan and be like, “mom always keeps the socks in the bottom drawer.” disappointed that his father can’t even remember. toji just grumbles and says, “your mama’s gonna ruin you.”

⋆ 「 — has called you 'mom' basically since he was old enough, but don't let him fool you. megumi will drop the big boy act and come out with 'mama' or 'mommy' when something's wrong or he's really excited. he'll come to you with quiet tears and sniffles, a little ashamed that he's crying, but present to you a scraped elbow, "mama... it hurts." you clean up the scrape and explain to him the little medical details in a somewhat understandable way to help him focus on something besides the pain, and you tell him that it'll be okay, and that it's alright to cry. or on the flip-side, you and toji take him to the zoo, little gumi on his dad's shoulders, and he gasps and points excitedly, "look, mommy! look at the big elephant!" and it feels incredible to see him be so spirited.

⋆ 「 — along the lines of the art from this post and the thought i had about it earlier, just imagine that you're at some event (maybe like a birthday party or something), and toji's been hauling megumi around. they're both so over it at this point and are like 'please get me out of this' so as soon as toji walks past the obnoxious inflatable bouncy house, he smirks and just YEETS that kid inside without a second thought. after regaining his breath, megumi just looks at his father with the most EVIL little scowl as other kids bounce around him with smiles. by the look on that child's face you could've swore that his father had just done him the ultimate betrayal.

so gumi slides out and hurriedly makes his way over to where you're sitting off to the side, quietly climbing into your lap for a little bit of solace. he wiggles in close to your chest and you tuck him under your chin with a ‘come here, sweetpea,’ rocking slowly and humming something soft because he always seems to like it when you do.

toji comes over and you look at him through narrowed eyes. "kids are supposed to like shit like that," he says.

"you know he likes when things are more quiet," you respond, and toji rolls his eyes at how you seemingly spoil your son.

"just thought it might be good for him to try and get along with the other brats." toji tries to cover up the fact that he tossed his kid for the sheer personal enjoyment of it.

you huff in disbelief. "oh, like you get along so well with everyone?"

he scoffs and moves in behind you, leaning down to place a kiss on your neck. "i get along with you," he says almost suggestively.

you just keep stroking megumi's hair and give the top of his head a gentle kiss. "yeah, well not today," you say, shooting a smug, resolute smile towards your husband, ultimately taking his son's side.

⋆ 「 — outside of his alone time, megumi would honestly much rather be with you instead of other children. toji thinks it's probably unhealthy and you're inclined to agree, but you also don't want to force megumi into situations that will just make him miserable. so, when appropriate, you don't mind at all pacing around with him in your arms or have him walk next to you (maybe holding your hand if he’s not in a ‘big boy’ mood), teaching him about the things you see in the woods, the park, or even the museum. when toji's not away working, he'll join too because it admittedly makes his heart feel soft to watch you two together. it always has, because you've been doing this with megumi since he was a baby. it never gets old. if it wasn't already so difficult trying to figure out how to do things right by his son, he'd want you to give him even more babies.

⋆ 「 — megumi likes doing things with his dad sometimes too, though. toji tries his best to do it right and watch both his mouth and his temper. you like seeing them getting along, even if it's just quietly watching tv or a movie (probably a cartoon where toji gets kind of into and will ask the occasional question like "why does that one stupid chick keep doing that?" and megumi just shrugs like, "i dunno. she is pretty dumb.") or playing ball outside because gumi's starting to show some athleticism. but you have to remind toji that he can't always be so rough or competitive with games because megumi is literally a child.

⋆ 「 — toji can also be way too overprotective of you two at times. you'll be out and about and he'll just be wearing such an intimidating expression as he walks behind you both, on the lookout for anyone who might want to cause trouble or take the wrong sort of glance at his wife. he'll even snap at people for walking too close or like cutting in line or something petty, and you have to tell him stop acting like an attack dog and looking like the grim reaper because dear god you're literally just having lunch at the park. even at his age, megumi's just eating his ice cream and looking at his dad with his little baby deadpan expression and thinking "this man really needs to take a chill pill." other times he can be more relaxed, however, obviously confident in his ability to protect you. it depends on his mood. but that still doesn’t stop him from being embarrassing and going off on people in public if something happens.

⋆ 「 — you also know all of gumi’s favorite meals and snacks. it’s yet another one of those things where, if his dad does it wrong, megumi expresses a disappointment beyond his years. toji will be making and packing his son’s school lunch just as instructed by the notes you gave him, but it’s by no means as neat and meticulous as when you do it. toji’s got a cigarette hanging out of his mouth with furrowed, concentrating brows, his free hand shakily reaching for a cup of fresh coffee, and megumi’s standing there with his little backpack, criticizing his father the entire time. “mom doesn’t do it like that,” he says.

“well mom ain’t here right now. and it doesn’t matter how the sandwich is cut, is still tastes the damn same.”

gumi doesn’t even physically react, still wearing the same neutral expression, just waiting for his dad to hurry up. “mom says you shouldn’t smoke. and she also says not to use bad words.”

toji scoffs and then smirks. “well mommy uses all sorts of bad words you don’t even know about when her and daddy have play time.”

megumi’s already almost late for school and can barely feel his feet from how tight his dad tied his shoelaces. he also asks you later about “play time,” and you want to absolutely murder your husband over it.

Pregnancy

RQ: 'Hi! Hope you’re having a good day! I Saw your requests were open! Would I be able to get some headcannons for Kurt as a father/with a pregnant reader? If not that’s perfectly fine!' - @cherri-leaf

Warnings: Kurt x f!reader, pregnancy topics, birth and baby themes

A/N: This is not helping my baby fever. Do I care? Nope. Soo happy to get one of these, I love writing things like this. Ignore any grammar errors bitte und danke.

Kurt would be the best father to be. When he found out you were pregnant, he was completely overjoyed.

He would absolutely do everything in his power to make sure that you are comfortable and happy throughout your pregnancy. He can hardly wait, and he'd want you completely stress-free during.

Kurt would always ask what he can do to help, he wouldn't want you bending over or lifting anything.

Kurt is an excellent cook, so he'd be cooking a lot of your meals. He doesn't want to control you, but he only wants you to be eating the best foods he can get you. And cooking it himself, he knows exactly what is going in your body and feeding your baby.

His German heritage comes out more, he likes to feed you typical German meals, most of which are high in protein and good for your body. Lot of meat and potatoes, and lots of fruits and veggies.

He does let you have desserts too, he makes them himself though. Or if you want to bake with him that's obviously okay! He loves to bake, as long as you don't get too tired with your belly.

He loves massaging you, knowing how laborious and exhausting pregnancy can be. He always tries his best to massage parts that hurt. Kurt massages your legs, ankles, feet, back. He also tenderly will massage your breasts, it's good for milk production and to help the tissue as your milk comes in.

One of his favorite things is to sit down and lay his head beside your belly. He loves listening to your little one most around, gently rubbing over it and speaking to it. He talks in German to your little one, speaking soft and sweet, laying kisses all over your stomach.

Kurt does a ton of research on pregnancy too. Before you are even pregnant and you're both trying, he reads books and watches videos of pregnancy and what it does to your body, getting as much information as possible about it. He wants to know what he can do to take the best care of you. Plus he wants to understand what's happening to the love of his life.

Some of it makes him cringe, and he frowns seeing how your internal organs shift, or all the symptoms and mental strain pregnancy causes. "Liebe...I will do everything I can to help you. It is scary, but I will be right here." he reassures, even if you have no worries about it.

Does he go nuts over the nursery? YES. Circus themed, naturally. Without the bad parts of his youth of course. Lots of fun colors, circus stuffies, (elephants, zebras, lions, tigers, bears, oh my!), and he absolutely paints it with you.

He also loves to shower you with gifts during your pregnancy, some for the baby, but some for you too. He always makes sure your friends know what you need when the baby showers comes along.

Baby clothes shopping? He goes nuts. "Liebe, bitte, bitte our little one has to have lederhosen! Bitte!" he begs and pleads with you, and you can't resist for long.

He makes a lot of jokes when your baby moves around a lot. "Heh, takin' after me already? Mein Gott...a little acrobat you are..." he coos to your belly, "Careful now, little one, you're gonna hurt your mama." he kisses your belly where the baby seems to be doing summer saults.

Kurt does really well with your hormonal changes too. He understands, sometimes you get impatient or lose your temper, never at him, but things are so overwhelming and stressful sometimes. You get frustrated with your self esteem or the fact that standing up is always a struggle. He calms you down, helping you ground yourself. "What do you need, schatz...anything. Food, space, love?" he questions, wanting to ensure you are okay.

When you go into labor, he tries his best to stay calm but...he can't help it. He freaks out. He rushes to you, no teleporting, it makes you too dizzy. He helps you to Beast's lab, no hospitals, he heard about how they treated Madelyne, he didn't want to deal with that.

You feel better surrounded by friendly faces anyway.

Of course it's just him in the room when you do give birth, he talks you through, telling you how good you're doing...how close you are, to breathe, etc.

He is so worried, giving you lots of love and making sure you're doing okay above all else.

When your little one arrives, he is in complete awe. Imagine how you want the baby to look ofc, but come on...it's gotta be a little blue!

It is such a sweet bundle of joy, it doesn't cry more than necessary when it's first born, and you hold your baby as it's placed on you. Kurt doesn't care if it is a boy or girl, that is his little one and he will cherish it with you.

Kurt respects the motherly bonding, so he steps back and lets you hold and be the first one to cuddle and kiss, and of course warm the baby with your skin. It's a sight he won't forget.

Ideally, he'd like to name the baby a German name, but he of course talks with you if you have any cultural or personal preference. You both come to a conclusion on what to name your new baby.

He's the best after too. He does everything he can while you recover with the baby, and helps wherever is needed. He helps if you nurse, he cleans and cooks still, makes sure you have hot showers ready, anything you could imagine.

You know you and your baby will be forever and always be loved by your adorning blue teleporter ~

FIRST STEPS — alessia russo x child!reader

"that's it, walk to mama!" alessia cheered sitting on her knees on the floor her arms out ready to catch you as she tried to get you to start walking.

the key word being tried.

you were able to stand up on your own, heck you'd been pulling yourself up on the furniture since you were seven months old but now four months later just a few weeks away from your first birthday, you still hadn't took your first steps yet.

alessia knew that there was no rush in your starting to walk and that some baby's are quicker at beginning to walk than others but she just had this instinct that you were ready to take them first steps. but after weeks of trying to make it happen, it's safe to say the blonde was very close to giving up and just waiting until you did it yourself.

"lovie, walk to me!" alessia encouraged as she held her hands out making grabby hands towards you, as you stood in front of her with a big grin on your face, a slight wobble as your balance was off before you fell back sitting.

alessia's smile dropping slightly as you crawled to get your toys which were splayed out on the ground. a big sigh coming from alessia, this was at least the twelfth time that had happened.

alessia dragged her hands over her face letting out a loud groan of annoyance, as a small giggle came from you as you thought that the action your mummy was doing was funny.

sitting back on the couch as she watched over you, deep in thought of ways in trying to encourage you to walk cause she was running low on ideas to try.

close to every website on google alessia had tried as well as blogs for first time mums she had tried. she had even asked her own mum for advice on how she got alessia and her brothers to walk.

"have you gave up less?" the voice of ella came into the living room, sitting down next to the blonde, you looking up and babbling away as ella sent you a wave and a hello before you attention went back to your toys.

alessia nodded, she hadn't gave up fully- just for today she had. "she can stand up perfectly she just doesn't want to move her feet after that" alessia explained as ella hummed along.

"have you tried just holding out her toy for her to come and get?" ella asked as she watched on as you played with a small football one of the girls had gotten you and some wooden sensory cube seemingly very entertained in what you were playing with.

"sort of but she didn't seem interested in it" alessia watched as you crawled around the living room floor to gather other toys to play with as ella hummed before sliding off the couch to join you on the floor.

"what does she play with most at the moment?" ella asked as alessia pointed to the toy, your elephant teddy which went anywhere and everywhere with you to the point you couldn't sleep if it wasn't next to you in your bed.

"hold that out and see if she walks to get it" ella handed alessia the elephant as she moved from the couch to kneel on the ground like she had been doing.

ella moved your toys away from you as you frowned at her, "ey!" you babbled as she lifted you to stand up on your feet helping you to get your balance before she let go.

"look what mama's got!" ella pointed towards alessia who held out your elephant teddy, a big smile on her face as she encouraged you to go to her. trying to lift your foot, but instead falling back to sit down as you'd lost your balance.

crawling straight towards the huddle of toys that ella had created. ella looking towards the defeated look that alessia had, the elephant hanging loose from the blondes hands.

"wait- no, no try a different toy!" ella scrambled, to grab the small football that you were reaching for. "hold this" she handed the ball to alessia who gave her best friend a pointed look.

"she's not going to do it!" alessia mumbled to herself as she watched ella stand you back up, helping you get your balance.

"tiny! look mama's got your ball! go and get it!"

and with that you looked towards your mummy who was holding your ball out, as you put one foot in front of the other slowly and a little wobbly. as alessia's face changed from a look of defeat to pure excitement as her mouth hung open wide.

you had taken your first steps.

crashing into your mummy's arms, as she attached your cheek with kisses as you didn't understand her sudden change in excitement. "oh my little girl, your so clever!" she cheered as ella looked on in adoration at the pure joy of alessia knowing the frustration she had felt the last weeks trying to get you to take your first steps.

"won't be long till she banging in goals for fun like her mama!"
