I don't really get the timeline of events for your AU. Can you explain it to me?

Certainly. It’s a little complicated, but I’ll try and iron it out so it’s easy to understand. It’s also a very loose timeline because the more recent stuff is a bit more canon than the rest.

Under the cut, because it gets complicated and there’s a lot of math.

Okay, so to start with, I think I should go over some ages of current characters because many of them haven’t been Established. My current OCs that I am fully invested in that will constantly be written about here are currently this old if they were to be alive in the current BNHA canon.

Very confusing when looking back and reading all this info at once, right? I’ll break it down as simply as possible.

So to start, Phase 1. Or as I like to call the Ceri Childhood Arc, given this all happened in between his birth and escaping confinement:

When Elaine was 22, she graduated from Lucienne’s Hero Academy and made her debut as The Fairy Heroine: Parisa. The same year Ceri was born.

When Ceri was 5, his parents divorced after he started manifesting his quirk. Unintentionally, his discovering of said quirk lead to their break up. This will make things better in the end though.

When Ceri was 8, he’d been living with an aunt and was constantly harrassed by his classmates for his quirk. This is the same year Marianne was born. Mary would be born one year later.

When Ceri is ten, his father married Gary and invited Ceri to live with them in Elspie. At this point, Marianne is 2 and her baby brother Reginald is born.

At the age of 12, Ceri’s father Jason dies and Gary becomes his sole caretaker. This is the year that Lucien Adaire is born as Mallory Sidero.

At 16, Ceri is kidnapped by the government for his quirk. Marianne is now 8 and learning how to use her quirk at a basic level while Regi (age 6) and Mallory (age 4) are discovering what their quirks are.

Between 17-18, Ceri puts together a plan to escape captivity by using his captors desires against them and creating a special ops unit of Heroes called the Elemental Geodes. Within six months of forming, the Geodes begin to uncover corruption in the Hero Association in the UK.

At 19, going on 20, Ceri is rescued from his imprisonment. During this year and a half period, Tanith is born. Marianne is now 10-11 and Regi is 8 going on 9. Mallory was sent away on a boat at the age of 6. The boat was hijacked by villains who were fighting the Gladstone parents. Mallory is the only survivor, leaving Marianne, Regi, and Tanith without parents.

Parisa, who is now 42 and the Headmistress of Lucienne’s, approaches Ceri and offers to help him get on his feet. Ceri sets up shop with the money he’d earned from the aftermath of his imprisonment and becomes a pub owner, eventually moving into owning a small inn as well in the village of Elspie on Elspie proper. His pub was given the name “The Secret Felines”.

And this is where we move on to the next phase.

The Elspie Heroes, Rise and Fall Arc:

At age 6-7, Mallory Sidero washes up on the shores of the UK after his quirk caused the ship to sink and everyone on it to perish. He’s sent to a children’s home for 6 months to recover.

Over the next three years he’s bounced from home to home, even sent to a correctional boarding school at one point, until he turns ten and is dubbed “unadoptable” because of his quirk and emotional issues that stem from them. During this period, Regi and Marianne are mourning the loss of their parents while also trying to be good older siblings and surrogate parental figures for Tanith. Marianne prepares to follow in their parent’s foosteps and enrolls in Lucienne’s like their mother did, while Regi opts to go for Elspie’s “Hero Apprenticeship Division” so that he can stay closer to home for Tanith.

When Mallory is ten he’s adopted by Lyall Talbot, a hero with a quirk similar to his. Lyall, who went by the hero name Wolfsbane, was not only a Hero, but also a member of the Special Provisions Division, whose job was to deal with people with similar quirks to his and figure out if their powers had gone out of control, taking action accordingly depending on the person. He’d heard rumors of Mallory and went to inspect the situation, deciding that the child was not too far gone and could be guided to become a hero. When filling out the paperwork, Lyall handed Malory a book filled with names from all over the world and told them to pick one. Mallory Sidero is renamed Lucien Adaire.

When Lucien is 11 they’re taken overseas for training over the next several years. Regi is spending this time training other local heroes in Elspie, while Tanith is slowly discovering what her quirk is. Marianne attends Lucienne’s.

At the Age of 18, The Ocean Healer Mither makes her debut with her best friend Mary McMiller, AKA the Creative’s Heroine Skald. Lucien, who is 14, selects his Alias. Reginald, 16, is working on mastering his Quirk and gains a provisional licence.

Mither turns 20, and the Technonaut Hero: Renegade, makes his debut at 18. Team Elspie is formed. Tanith is 9 years old and learning to control her quirk. Lucien, age 16, is close to becoming a full Hero.

When Lucien is 18, he makes his debut as the Peaceful Shepherd Hero Amaryllis in Glasgow alongside his Mentor and Father-Figure Wolfsbane, who is showing signs of madness but maintaining control. Team Elspie has begun to make a name for themselves. Tanith, age 11, wants to be a Hero like her family. Regi and Mary start dating, and Team Elspie begin to frequent The Secret Felines. Ceri occasionally babysits Tanith.

At age 21, Lucien killed Lyall Talbot, who went on a murderous rampage when his quirk drove him mad. Tanith is mastering her quirk and studying hard to get into Lucienne’s Hero Academy. Lucien, not long after the death of Wolfsbane, is assigned to Team Elspie to train Tanith and determine if she is “salvagable”, like Wolfsbane did before with him. This leads him to meet Marianne, Mary, Ceri, and Regi, whom he eventually develops a crush on. By this point, Regi had made quite the name for himself as a Hero, Programmer, and Inventor, which brought him into contact with people like Étienne Allard.

Sometime between ages 24 and 29, Lucien properly meets L and Étienne through Regi, and begins being pen-pals with L because both can feel other people’s pain to some extent and three bonding sessions later they were friends. This is one of the incidents that is most loose in terms of canon given L’s and Étienne‘s backstories in their own AU.

Before his 28th birthday, Regi breaks up with Mary after Mary digs up Lucien’s sealed records. A month after this, Mary leaves Team Elspie and gets accepted into the Elemental Geodes, given the member designation “Element of Surprise”. Marianne leaves for Edinburgh not long after, going solo. Six months later, Regi and Luci begin dating. A month after that Team Elspie reunites to hear Tanith’s results. Tanith, now 17, is accepted into Lucienne’s. I will make a separate post on how Lucienne’s Hero Academy works.

When Regi is 29 and Lucien is about to turn 27, they become engaged in Bristol. This is the canon engagement.

A week later, they are assigned to the Mask Collector Case. During the investigation they adopt a kitten they found at a crime scene, whom they name Meatloaf after she stole the last bite of Regi’s meatloaf dinner.

Shortly after Regi’s 30th birthday, he is murdered by the Mask Collector, Spikes. Luci puts the Mask Collector behind bars not long after Spikes begins to destroy Elspie looking for him. Nezu, hearing of the incident and of Amaryllis’ achievement, comes to Elspie to help with the repair efforts, as do other Heroes from various parts of the world. Nezu offers Amaryllis aid and a job at U.A. Amaryllis accepts the offers.

Amaryllis travels to Japan and ends up in Aoyama, where he meets Superbeast for the first time, has his first proper meeting with Phoenix, and is reunited with L. This is roughly a month after Spikes is sent to prison. Meanwhile, back in the UK, Tanith is working hard to train to be a Hero, as well as attend university for Visual and Performing Arts as well as Psychology so she’d have a fallback plan, as losing her older brother had begun to worry her and nearly deterred her from achieving her dream.

Over the next three years Lucien works toward gaining a teaching degree to teach in Japan. Frequently tries to spend time with friends when he can.

Roughly sometime between the Kamino Arc and the Festival arc, Amaryllis, now 31, becomes a substitute teacher at U.A., teaching Home Economics in the General Studies section of the school.

Within a month or so of Amaryllis permanently moving to Japan, Ceri moves the Secret Felines to Musutafu, after incidents home prompt him to seek better conditions for his livelihood.

Tanith, age 23, makes her debut in Japan chasing down the Mask Collector’s disciple, Delusion. It is a quiet debut, just how she wanted it.
