staying late for the songwriters group and i keep hearing "well, it's six o'clock, should we go?" then they yap. "well, it's six fifteen, should we head out?" yap yap "it's six thirty, let's put these chairs back." get the fuck out of here please

it is kind of funny that nosferatu felt strongly about the woman he was attaching himself to be legally divorced when otherwise he operates so extrajudicially. but also he's from a totally different country with a totally different system so in his opinion that document constitutes a divorce. like probably not. i think you'd have to file that somewhere. i think they wouldn't take a document handwritten in ancient dacian. or maybe an alternate reading is in transylvania, nosferatu behaviors are not "illegal" per se

they're doing the laramie project here which reminds me of when my high school did it in 2010 or so and was subsequently placed on the westboro baptist church's website of places they planned to protest. naturally a counter protest was held. but then the westboro baptist church didn't show up because they are of course based in kansas and they "plan" a lot of protests but don't actually do that many. so it was just a high school performance of the laramie project with a "pro-high school performance of the laramie project" "counter-protest" outside and no actual anti-laramie project protest in the first place. so embarrassing. anyway i feel like i never hear from those guys anymore. apparently they're still active even though the main guy died in 2014 and basically everyone in the church was his kids. but i have to imagine that their vigor is flagging

ive been ob sessed with crocheting these leaves. something about it just does it for me. its my spiral

as mentioned i got my family books from the local independent bookstore for xmas. my youngest brother got white fang. my mom is reading it to both of them (literally the only way to get them to read it) and texting me raving about how good it is and how she hopes white fang "loves and is loved by the end." you're never too old for a jack london phase

imagining a project where i crochet garlands with little plants and shit, which i use to tie up my hair in a crown braid. i already do this (with one strand of orange flowers that i think could be improved upon) and it looks amazing. but i feel like multiple garlands would look even better. and then i imagined that i could do some seasonal sets. so spring/summer would be green leaves, marigolds, red roses, violets and white daisies. BUT i think i need six unique colors and patterns so i can do two braids if i so choose. (imagine fishtailing these! ugh). id prefer to get them from the same place so that the garlands all match, plus they're high quality and reasonably priced.

woke up early this morning, but didn't get up immediately. as i lay under the blankets, i was relentlessly attacked by four cats for like a half hour. they jumped on me (full body jump), fought each other atop me, ran full speed across me to leave the room and then full speed across me again upon reentering. which is like whatever. except apparently they do this every day and i just don't notice. i lay there like a corpse for their terrain. they must really enjoy it
