the shibuya arc is almost over, i still cant believe it started off with 5 episodes of teen gojo and suguru having the best and then the worst time of their lives all to the back drop of a slice of life setting. I think i will always chose to live in those first 5 episodes they dedicated an entire marketing campaign to.

All these panels of Yuuta are not only him worried about Gojo losing but also him worrying about what he is to do if Gojo loses. The agonizing knowledge that Yuuta must use Kenjaku's technique on Satoru, the same technique that sealed him. That brought agonizing grief to such levels.

Maki's hand is not only there for comfort because she, too, is aware of the profanity that Yuuta is about to perform to himself and his sensei in exchange for five minutes of chance. That when the fight is over, she may lose one of her best friends. Even then, perhaps such sacrifices will not be enough. There is no certainty that someone will be left to live a world without sukuna.

And when you stand over the corpse of your enemy at the price of your own morals and humanity, have you truly won when you had to give up something so precious?

I imagined the timeline to be 1-2yrs after Maki graduated. Maki is now in medical school & Nico is busy with her idol activities, so they didn't see each other often (hence the perfume gift). I'd love to explore more of Nico's dere-dere side & maki-trying-to-be-more-honest side😙

This short comic wasn't planned at all, so that's why it's late huhuhu. The video part where I drew the gift box was last minute, and that led to this comic idea
