season 1, episode 4, continued yet again (IM SORRY)
30. fucking hell, this episode contains a lot
31. “Normally I love a dirty lair but this is just sloppy” Magnus aka ALEC PAY ATTENTION IM FLIRTING BANE
32. the fuck is he talking about? can’t be hinting me??????? genuinely confused Alec 🥲
33. “About Alec. Is he more of a flower or cologne man?” and then clary has the audacity to interrupt. BITCH A COURTSHIP IS IN PROCESS HOLD ON
34. “pretty boy, get your team ready. oh, I’m not talking to you.” now this scene is super important. for starters, Alec has always felt in jace’s shadow but for the very first time, he feels noticed and alive. someone has noticed him and is interested only in Alec. this episode is the first time we see Alec smile and look happy (HES SO HAPPY)
35. “Oh, the only other person I’ve known who could draw as well was Michelangelo, who was excellent in bed, I might add” Magnus that is no way to flirt 💀
36. when Alec takes a hold of Magnus’s hand, you can see a surprise and a sort of sparkle in his eye. this goes back to when I stated that Matt and harry are exceptionally well in acting with just their eyes. I personally think this is also where their chemistry started (as well as when they meet)
37. Alec being scared when the demon showed jace- it shows how not okay Alec is with jace and everyone knowing how he truly feels. jace just thinks Alec loves him as a friend at first (honestly not sure if this is true) but Alec doesn’t want anyone to take it the wrong way. this is him in his terrified element. also no one talks about yet how homophobic the clave is and how Alec would be treated if they found out. so this is Alec, truly terrified
38. Izzy knows exactly what this means to Alec but all he is worried about is hearing jace’s true feelings which is really sad
39. Magnus showing he understands Alec. Alec doesn’t have to explain anything but within moments of meeting Alec, Magnus truly gets it
40. this is why I adore show Malec. magnus isn’t getting upset that Alec isn’t ready. he’s patient and when Alec is ready, so will he be ready
41. THEY SHOULD HAVE LET THE GREATER DEMON TAKE JACE PLEASE I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL
I guess 41 is the number and man did I have some stupid thoughts. thanks for joining show Malec is superior club????? (I seriously need the remember the damn name I created) let’s see what next episode number is going to be 👏🏼
#anti cassandra clare#anti cc#just my stupid opinions#alec lightwood#magnus bane#anti clace#anti clary fray#anti jace herondale#show magnus is superior#show alec is superior#putting anti cc on all show shadowhunter posts because i don’t want an pro book fans hating on my shit#show malec is superior#Magnus was elite in this episode#poor Alec and the shit he has to hide#41 is the number

Magnus’ pretty little Doll has a new show he can’t stop watching! One of those talk show type deals, but for ambitious mechs like himself. All about making friends and influencing people. Which is just what Sentinel needs to know to help him become the Magnus when his Ultra finally retires. He likes to watch it on his breaks, getting so sucked into the material that sometimes Ultra Magnus has to gently remind his secretary that they have work to do. It’s just that the voices are so firm and authoritative, but never too harsh! The colors are so pretty, and the music just quiet enough not to be worth taking further notice of.
“No one likes a self-absorbed mech.” Sentinel learns one day, and can’t help but start to listen when other mechs talk about themselves. Never inserting himself unnecessarily—he’s becoming a wonderful listener. Mechs need to feel like they can trust a Magnus, and love to feel listened to. His coworkers always light up a little when Sentinel asks about whatever they were telling him about last.
“Service is pleasure.” Another important lesson! Sentinel’s a quick learner for this one: his Magnus always has something for him to do, and the jolts of arousal he feels when he’s called a good bot prove this true. Suddenly he’s calling the people who come to the Magnus’ office things like ‘sweetspark,’ and ‘dear,’ as he fixes all their problems with his secretarial expertise. Subtly grinding his panel against his chair as the Magnus watches with an approving smile.
“To be powerful, you must first be popular.” This one is harder, Sentinel thinks. He’s helpful and friendly, now, but not popular. Is he too unapproachable, working directly with the Magnus? He starts making an effort to be seen in public, available and approachable and so very pretty in his skirt. Did you need something? Can Sentinel help you? You’re so funny, so smart, so strong. It won’t be long before everyone is a little in love with the Magnus’ secretary. They’re already forgetting what a proud aft he used to be, falling for the sweet smile and simpering. It only makes sense that this delicate thing left the Elite Guard to be a secretary—the poor thing must have been so stressed and frightened with all the fighting. In a few years, the fact that Sentinel ever was in the Autobot Army will be completely buried.
Every episode is a new revelation, and Sentinel couldn’t be more pleased with the results. His image has never been so widely approved, and his wonderful Magnus can’t stop praising him. He loves when Ultra gets like this, petting and stroking his Doll’s node under his skirt while Sentinel watches his newest episode. He rewards the old mech by rolling his hips, calipers cycling down around the Magnus’ huge spike. Sentinel’s getting better at taking it every day, and this time he’s sure will be the one.
“A dependable mechanism is always ready and willing to serve at a moment’s notice,” the episode begins. By the end of it Sentinel is drooling from a simpering smile as the Magnus pumps a load of transfluid directly into his gestational tank—Sentinel had finally taken the whole thing, and it just barely kissed the back of his valve. Ultra Magnus had ‘accidentally’ broken through his seal with one hard thrust, and the feeling was indescribable as Sentinel overloaded hard.
He needs to feel this every day. He NEEDS his Magnus’ spike filling him so completely, transfluid surging into him to make his trim belly swell a bit. Just so he can prove he did it, that it happened. Vaguely he remembers protesting a bit when Ultra’s tip breached his seal, but the old mech’s praise whispered in his ear had turned him to putty.
“Oh, Doll, my pretty girl. Taking all of my spike,” Ultra had purred, “such a good mech, Doll, my perfect little Doll. You love this don’t you? It feels so very good to be full, doesn’t it?” Sentinel had melted into him, moaning his name and grinding hard against him. And the multiple overloads had proved the Magnus right!
On the other side of things, Ultra Magnus couldn’t be more pleased. Sentinel’s almost ready to become a good little wife for the Magnus of Cybertron. Nobody can believe this pretty little thing was ever a guard. All that’s left is to get him pregnant so that they can transition him to wanting to be the Magnus’ wife instead of the Magnus. And, of course, training him for those duties. But Sentinel is such a pretty bot, now. Always in a sweet little skirt that barely covers his panels, teasing mechs to look and maybe sneak a pinch of his aft. Nails painted eyecatching colors so that everyone’s optics are drawn to the way he sucks at them, or his stylus. The way they trail against his thigh.
The false spike on his desk chair was a stroke of genius. Sentinel rides it whenever he isn’t full of the Magnus, unable to cum without permission but constantly pleasured and full of charge. Eager to serve Ultra, and able to come just from sucking the Magnus’ spike. Sentinel’s panels stay open in the office, but Ultra’s taught him that good girls keep them locked up at home to keep him from playing with the Magnus’ toys… and to keep him from washing the transfluid out.
The next episode of Sentinel’s favorite show will be “Good mechs contribute to the future of Cybertron,” and will hopefully install a brand new breeding fetish to help things along. That one won’t be public release—the council is already working on the propaganda for the breeding program. Not that they’ll call it that. But Ultra’s pretty Doll deserves to be eased into his new life in ways that cater to his needs. He’s about to be the wife of the Magnus, after all, he deserves spoiling. Especially when he begs for Ultra’s spike so prettily, curtseying to show off his wet pussy. Belly still a little swollen from the last round.
It’s good to be the Magnus.
hrghh... Sentinel is right on his way to becoming a dainty little wife, and he doesn’t even realize it... He’s so focused on becoming the perfect candidate to replace the Magnus that he doesn’t even notice how much he's changed, that he's gone from an ambitious member of the elite guard to dumb thing in a skirt <3 Slowly, his desire to climb the ranks is erased from his pretty little helm, replaced by the need to serve the Magnus with his intake and valve. What he always wanted, from the day he began to work under Ultra Magnus, was to become his wife, and to carry his heirs <33
That little hypnosis file meant to give mecha a breeding fetish is a test-run only, but it was extremely effective on Sentinel. He'll be cradling a big belly in no time, with people rubbing it and congratulating him wherever he goes. Ultra Magnus couldn't be happier... now they know that the hypnosis program works and he gets a wife that wants nothing more than to attend to his need out of it. He wasn't fond of Sentinel before, but seeing him get turned into a pleasant housewife was extremely satisfying <3

okay okay okay, i’m on my premium bullshit today. take a seat and grab a coffee because this is gonna be a long one
i have a theory for the Magnus Protocol, and I am so not normal about it that I need to rant. Spoilers ahead for literally any part of the show from ep. 1 to ep. 23
Okay so, with this latest case, i think the supernatural shenanigans of Protocol have less to do with the Fears and more to do with self-image and identity
A bunch of cases have been about this—I won’t go on about all of them, just a few that i think either really point towards this or that i think can be seen as decently convincing when looked at another way.
The most obvious ones, to me, are Episodes 2, 16, and 23.
In 2, ‘Making Adjustments,’ the artist is literally reshaping herself to fit with her image of her “ideal self.” She’s pushing the “her” she wants to be out into the real world. It doesn’t escape my notice that Ink5oul is involved—don’t worry, I have words about them later.
In 16, ‘Anti-Social,’ Madam E (another Ink5oul victim/canvas) becomes wrapped up in her online identity and image—comments physically affect them, and when those turn into a stream of hate… well, it breaks her heart.
In 23, ‘A New You,’ I barely feel like I need to explain. The whole case is Alesis pursuing and following through with a means to become her ideal self. She goes through the entire process willingly and with the express intent to become the person she wishes she could be.
As for the ones that will need some more explaining, I’m mainly thinking of 10 and 13.
‘Saturday Night’ reveals everyone’s favourite children’s mascot/government hitman, Mr. Bonzo, and gives some background on him. Mr. Bonzo was a gag character in Nigel’s late night show. Not only did someone in a Bonzo costume do some murdering, but… Bonzo himself took over Nigel’s show and ‘imprisonment’ in the comedy dungeon due to his popularity. Perhaps this sort of thing got to Nigel, and he saw his life—because the show did seem to be his life’s work—being taken over by the mascot, and then saw that same mascot with blood on his hands. Perhaps Nigel made a monster out of Bonzo in his head, and that monster was made manifest… somehow. Or maybe some kid who loved and idolised Bonzo saw the murders and felt like a monster themselves, spiralling until they became Bonzo a la Episode 23, then attached themselves to Nigel because, well… Nigel and Bonzo were always together.
‘Futures’ is a bit simpler, I think. Darrien wanted to be rich again. He saw himself as “one of the elite,” as evidenced by his attitude and the company he kept when his experience started. His desire and ideal of richness lead to him throwing himself into worse and worse situations for more and more money… until, i think, he realised he needed to stop. He realised that his life had just turned into destroying himself for money, and he was ready to stop that… so he stopped seeing himself as “someone doing whatever it takes to get rich” and instead saw himself as “someone destroying themselves.” And the money stopped, just like that.
Now, for Ink5oul and alchemy. Every Magnus Institute case (the ones from their records/research, anyways), has mentioned the terms “subject,” “agent,” and “catalyst.”
These terms are pretty generic, but we pretty much know the Institute was deep in alchemy, and alchemy is, in essence, the art/science of transformations.
Transformations based on self-image and identity, perhaps.
The subject is what changes (Madam E, Daria, Alesis). The catalyst is what starts/actualises/accelerates the change (Ink5oul’s tattoos, Alesis’s “piece”). The agent is what sets things in motion to change in the first place (Ink5oul is the current main example of this).
This is already really long and I’m basically just rambling at this point, so I’ll stop. This could be the most surface-level take or a complete swing and a miss, but I like thinking about things like this, so oh well
#also if i’m right you have to hail me as a prophet#them’s the rules#the magnus protocol#tmagp#tmagp theory#tmagp spoilers#the magnus protocol spoilers#*incoherent gravity noises*

Well, short tmagp episode this week...
I don't really have any takes other than the obvious Magnus institute being an elite collection or training of sorts for avatars. Neat!
#tmagp#tmp#the magnus protocol#probably also controls them bc we often hear statements from those who seem to be unlicensed horrors#tmagp 14#I do wish the episodes were more than 18 minutes :(

The only things I really want for tfa:
-Sentinel getting a redemption arc and actually slowly rebuilding his relationship with op and maybe apologizing for how he act towards the rest of the op's team. Maybe actually explore deeper into his trauma and side of the story that isn't just a quick glance of him looking sad and never addressing it.
-Jetfire and Jetstorm developing different personalities and actually having focusing on them instead of focusing on people dealing with them or adopting them. Let the story actually be about them and at least having some kind of agency and for them to find their own paths.
- Megarton isn't a miner or have some of backstory that make the autobots the actual "bad guys". He only doing this for war money and power .
- Ultra Magnus is and stayed dead
-Beachcomber doesn't dies and developed a unlike friendship with Sentinel. (I don't know why but I think it be funny as hell if these two become friends somehow depsite being complete opposite)
-the a episode where Blurr actually interact with the rest of the elite guard members and we see his dynamic and releasonship with them.

Let's talk about the music in Young Royals! (Part 1)
This post, which will focus on the needle drops used in the show, is the first part of a two-part analysis. Part 2 will focus on the original score.
I love the way music is used in Young Royals. It was one of the first things that attracted me to the show, but it's only recently that I’ve stopped to think about why I find it so effective. I used to (in a pre-disability past life) work in the music industry, and I’ve been missing my old job a lot lately. So I thought I would use some of my knowledge (and my media analysis skills) to write this meta. I've tried to link a youtube video for every song I reference, so you can go and listen to the tracks if you want to.
First, let’s talk about some logistics. “Needle drops” are when a show uses a pre-existing song as part of the score (like literally dropping a needle on a record player; isn’t it weird how that terminology has stuck around even while the technology has changed?). You can also call them music syncs, which refers to the fact that in order to use pre-existing music in film, you have to obtain a music synchronization license from the copyright owner (this ensures that the recording artist and the songwriter get paid for the use of their music). The person in charge of selecting songs and clearing the rights for them is called the music supervisor. The Young Royals music supervisor is Magnus Palmborg, and I think he does an incredible job. (He was also a co-writer on Simon’s Song, so we really have a lot to thank him for).
Music serves a very important role in Young Royals. I believe that the selection of songs and use of the score really helps establish one of the most important themes of the show: the dichotomy between the public and private self. So much of Young Royals is about the images characters consciously try to project and the pressure society puts on them to act a certain way, and the way that conflicts with their actual internal feelings. And this dichotomy exists very clearly in the music too.
Most of the needle drops in the show are big, bold pop and hip hop songs. They are usually played over montages of the students at Hillerska, often towards the beginning of the episode, and they reflect the “cool” image that the students are trying to project to each other. The very first time we see Hillerska, “Wannabe Ghetto” by Fata Boom is playing, and the lyrics “keep up the front like it’s your mission/Look our best, cover up what’s missing” perfectly sums up the pressure the students feel to fit in at such an elite school. When everyone is getting ready for the welcome back party in 2.1, the incredibly confident "Ripe" by Flavia is playing. The lyrics “no need to go to work unless you're working on my body” are full of sexual confidence, but they also play while students are putting on makeup and trying to look their best, literally working on their bodies. (Flavia is one of my favorite finds from the soundtrack by the way. She makes total queer bangers, I recommend checking her out).
It’s probably worth talking briefly about the opening title card here. A lot of shows have full opening sequences, with their own theme song. Young Royals eschews this, choosing instead to just flash the title on screen over an existing scene, often with a needle drop (but this changes each episode). I think this approach works really well, because it lets the music clue us in to the mood of each episode. A lot of episodes start with a very intimate scene, like the music room scene at the beginning of 1.3, and then contrast that with a burst of pop music during the title card that reminds us of the front the characters are normally projecting. In 1.3 the title card is shown over a montage of Felice struggling in the stables and is accompanied by a loud, lyricless pop song. That contrast from the intimacy of the music room, to a space where Felice feels like she’s always pretending, is really effective.
But sometimes needle drops are used to reflect more intimate, genuine emotions. Sometimes the show does this by making the song semi-diagetic. (Diagetic music is music that exists within the story that characters can hear; so Simon’s Song for instance is diagetic). At the beginning of episode 1.1, Wilhelm is listening to “Bad” by Farveblind, which has the lyrics “I think it’s bad/I think it’s lame/I think it’s horrible” over and over again, which is a pretty clear indicator of how Wilhelm is feeling. The show does a similar thing in 2.3, when Wilhelm listens to “The Lonely Ones” by Lova in his headphones when he walks by the lake. He’s feeling lonely! He listens to a sad song! That’s pretty straight forward.
But sometimes the way the music captures characters’ genuine feelings is a little more subtle. I actually think that there’s a lot more of this in season 2 than there is in season 1. There are a few examples I love from season 1, but most of my favorite examples are from the latter half of season 2. This perfectly reflects the journey that all of the characters, but especially Wilhelm, are going on; as season 2 goes on he gets more and more in touch with his real feelings and less and less able to pretend to please the royal family. These songs tend to be a little quieter than the flashy pop and hip hop that represents the facade of Hillerska, and you sometimes have to think a little bit about how the lyrics are illuminating what the characters are feeling.
Some of my favorite examples in season 1 include “Holes (Deep Throat Choir Remix)” by Zhala that plays during Erik’s funeral, which has the lyrics “And I lose myself inside, reflecting Wilhelm’s descent into grief and the way that he’s about to push Simon away, and “Sunday” by Gina Dirawi that plays as the girls are setting up for the sleepover and Wilhelm is going over to Simon’s house in 1.5. The lyrics “but I can see you clear here” reflect the fact that both sets of characters have found a sense of comfort with each other. But my absolute favorite example in season 1 is “Samurai Swords” by Highasakite, which plays while August uploads the video of Wilhelm and Simon to the internet. “I am leaving/I’m unleashing/I unravel to the leeches/I’m unpleasant/I’m unloving/So call out the guys with the samurai swords” plays while the camera focuses on August, reflecting his emotional state and also the fact that uploading the video is an act of self-harm for August (the image of samurai swords makes me think of seppuku, or the ritualized suicide that samurai warriors would commit instead of falling into enemy hands) and an act of aggression against Wilhelm and Simon. And when the camera cuts back to Wilhelm and Simon the lyrics say “someone else will love like a rainstorm”. The melody is so wistful and sad, like the show is already nostalgic for the perfect love that Simon and Wilhelm had which is about to be marred by the outside world.
In season 2, I really love “My Awe Sustains” by Ari at the top of 1.5, which perfectly captures the feeling of longing between Wilhelm and Simon (this is my other favorite discovery from the soundtrack; the whole album For Evig by Ari is one of my favorites now) and “I Wanna Be Someone Who’s Loved” by Tusse, which is included after the fight in the music room in the same episode. The lyrics to this one are really heartbreaking: “You make me feel like I’m invisible… Thought it would help but no one hears my call/No I won’t give up/I want to be someone who’s loved.” The lyrics capture how much Wilhelm wants to make his way back to Simon, but there’s frustration in melody too, which reflects how trapped he currently feels. “Please Don’t Go” by April Snow and Elias in episode 2.3 is another really interesting example. It plays right before August invites Sara to his room “just to talk” and before Simon tries to break up and Marcus doesn’t let him. The lyrics “I asked you to leave but I meant that I want you to stay/I need you to hear what I mean and not what I say” seem to capture the push-pull in both sets of relationships, and how all of the characters are trying but failing to really communicate what they mean.
But I think my favorite needle drop in season 2 that's used to illuminate the inner thoughts of a character is "Mirror" by Mogli. The song starts playing right after Wilhelm's last session with Boris in 2.5, when he realizes he has a choice: he doesn't have to become king. He could let August inherit and be with Simon. The lyrics "You don't want to be sad anymore/And I can't laugh/ No I can't laugh/I want to win this race but you can't lose/I let you score" underscore Wilhelm contemplating August in the Forest Ridge common room. Letting August inherit the crown would be letting him "win" in their invisible war for power, but what would that matter if Wilhelm gets to be happy with Simon? We see Wilhelm come to that realization, and then in the next scene he tells Simon that he's willing to give up the crown for him.
Since we’ve talked about the opening title card needle drops, we should probably address the fact there is also often a song over the closing credits as well. Again, this doesn’t happen in every episode; sometimes original scoring is used instead. But when a needle drop is included at the end of an episode, it feels like foreshadowing for things to come. My favorite is the end of 2.1, right after Wilhelm has a meltdown on the call to his mom. “Seize the Power” by YONAKA plays, and seems to signify Wilhelm’s arc for the rest of the season:
“Woke up this morning, I feel so fucking important/Look in the mirror, I’m different, I finally made a decision/All the rejected that lost a lack of respect in themselves cause people get hectic/they hurt you and make you feel helpless/they’re not brave like you/they’re too scared to do/anything that’s different, anything that’s new/I don’t need lessons/I do what I want it’s refreshing/as soon as you taste independence/you start living life in the present”
Season 2 is all about Wilhelm realizing he needs to claim his independence and start living his own life, so the lyrics perfectly represent his arc. Plus, the melody of this song is driving and angry, which helps carry forward the momentum of Wilhelm’s conflict with his mom through the end of the credits and reminds us how urgent this need to stand up for himself is.
You’ve probably noticed that I haven’t talked about “Revolution” by Elias or “The Most Beautiful Boy” by The Irrepressibles yet. I saved these two for last because I think they get the most fan discussion of all of the music choices in the season, and for good reason. To me these two are almost the theme songs of their respective season; everything centers around them. They occur at the same place in the season (at the end of 1.4/2.4 and 1.6/2.6) and they encapsulate the lessons that Wilhelm needs to learn: how to stand up to his mom and defy what is expected of him, and how to prioritize his love for Simon.
(I’ve also already talked about “Holy” by Elias in my post about the sex scenes here).
Overall, I love the way that needle drops are used in Young Royals. I know some people have complained that the songs don’t have much to do with the story, but to me nothing could be further from the truth. The songs capture both the societal expectations of Hillerska and the tender, inner workings of the characters. They help us understand the pressures put on our main characters and illuminate how they are really feeling inside. Plus the soundtrack is filled with queer, female, and POC artists who are a delight to discover.
I would love to hear your interpretation of the needle drops in the show. Do you have a favorite song on the soundtrack? Is there something I missed that you want me to talk about? My ask box is open and I would love to hear your thoughts!

Maybe after the Autobots visited Earth again maybe the kids could actually visit the rebuilt Cybertron? I’m sure the Autobots would be so excited to show the kids their work rebuilding their planet. And they might get to see the Autobots that didn’t go to earth Like Smokescreen and Ultra Magnus
I know in the season 2 finale it was said that Cybertron’s atmosphere was toxic or something but in Rescue Bots Academy a bat was brought to Cybertron (I forget which exact episode it was in but it was the one with Ratchet in it) and it was perfectly fine. So presumably the kids would be fine too. Maybe the damage caused by the war was what made Cybertron’s atmosphere so toxic or maybe the cons were talking out of their afts, or maybe it’s more proof that the “Aligned” Continuity isn’t particularly Aligned (Let’s be real it’s probably the 3rd one)
(Sorry that was a massive tangent I’ve been dying to get that info off my chest)
GOD NO YEAH I AGREE ABSOLUTELY.
When reunions are done, and the kids got the greenlight, and strings pulled for some exosuits to take to Cybertron [doesn't hurt to be cautious].
They were welcomed with warrior's honors.
Ultra Magnus, though always one to hold to protocol, couldn't help a small smile as he saluted and welcomed the trio to the rebuilt Cybertron, and dutifully noted, they had been indeed recorded as such.
Warriors in the Autobot ranks, soldiers in their battle against the Decepticons, recorded for their history to tell their story, and praise the 3 human children who gave their all to save a world not their own.
Miko Nakadai, a fully fledged Wrecker.
Jack Darby, once holder and guardian of the Key to Vector Sigma.
Rafael Esquivel, Apprentice of Ratchet, and communications experts.
Each was given a salute by fellow Autobot veterans from the war, who recognized the trio of kids, and a few stopped to thank them every so often.
Heroes. They were ,in the eyes of these immortal machines, heroes.
Smokescreen was beyond elated to have his friends back, to see how much they'd grown, and show how he was back as an Elite Guard, and making them proud.
Jack got a kick out of finding out how often Smoke used the phase shifter to play tricks though, which Magnus made a mental note of for later.
Arcee was tearing up a bit, when she took Jack around the newly rebuilt Cybertron.
This, this was how she'd wanted to show her home planet to Jack.
And it was a dream finally fulfilled.
Miko was beaming as they toured the planet, and couldn't believe some of the sights.
And seeing their friends statues too, of heroes who revived Cybertron after centuries of war?
It made this, all worth it.
Raf felt a little out of place, but with Bee as his personal tpur guide? It was an adventure he'd never forget.
A living machine, a planet of metal, Energon, so different from Earth...yet, it felt right to be here.
With their friends and family.
And after some minor modifications of the team's space bridge...well, they could visit anytime.

if i had a nickel for every Trigun 1998 English dub cast member who also played a one-off character in an episode of Star Trek, I'd have three nickels. which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened three times now:
Paul Carr voiced Stefany's butler and Doc and was credited as Lee Kelso in Trigun. He played Lt. Lee Kelso in the TOS episode "Where No Man Has Gone Before"! (I love that he used his Trek character's name as his stage name!)
Richard Cansino voiced Legato Bluesummers and was credited as Richard Hayworth in Trigun. He played Garin (one of the alien scientists from Bre'el IV) in the TNG episode "Deja Q"!
Kirk Baily voiced Knives (adult) and was credited as Bo Williams in Trigun. He played Magnus Hansen in the Voyager episode "Dark Frontier" as well as doing some voiceover work in the game Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force!
I wonder if I'll find any more, haha

Sentinel being a jerk yet still caring about Optimus deep down (show on the all spark almanac with Sentinel wishing things we different between them) despite their messy relationship is what make him very interesting along with him having small moments of decently like him thanking Optimus at the end of Return of Headmaster, him apologizing for going to that stupid planet in the frist place and even offering Optimus a position in the elite gaurd in Decepticon Air which is very important since we all know that Ulta Magnus took way that chance from Optimus so this is basically Sentinel trying to get Optimus career back but Optimus refused not because he thinks that it is a bribe like last time but because I think he finally realized that the Elite gaurd isn't for him and that he finally found his place here on earth.
Sentinel despise wanting to get Cyberton as fast as possible, still take Optimus back to Earth and even salute to him before leaving. ( Look Decepticon Air is my least favorite episode since it one of those things to make Optimus look good compare to Sentinel and I think Sentinel's Journal entry on this episode is way more interesting and better than the actual episode itself but I did absolutely adore this part since It show the end of these two frenemy relationship and the two starting a new arc of slowly rebuilding their friendship, too bad season four ruin it )
#i am going insane over this guy#he such a character and i wish je could of gotten proper character development instead of the writers#reusing plots and being lazy#let him grow and develop into a better person#tfa sentinel prime#transformers animated#tfa optimus prime

Given how the original Season 4 pitch document detailed an episode exploring an alternate universe where Optimus became techno-organic and Elita-1 leads Team Prime, part of me wonders what BETC!Blitzwing’s dynamic would be like with a Techno-Organic!Optimus or a hypothetical Techo-Organic!Sentinel.
On one hand, all three of them would still share the whole “one-of-a-kind model changed against their will” and “lost the two ‘bots closest to them” aspects that Blitzwing would definitely sympathize with, but on the other hand, Optimus and Sentinel have different personalities than Elita and would most likely make different choices than her, with that most likely extending to their potential dynamic with Blitz.
It seems I've written a bit, so I'll just shove this ask under a readmore for ease of scrolling by-
Given what we do see of canon Optimus and Sentinel, even though shoving either of them into the 'become techno-organic' situation is hyperspecific, there's like a little snippet of how they might hypothetically act like. Something something, the way that Optimus to the modern day is afraid of spiders, yada yada how he's got both a hero complex and kind of self-sacrificing, TO!Optimus would probably be so horrified of his own body but would hide it under layers and layers of 'well, i got my friends out' and potentially even 'they wouldn't come rescue me if they knew what i became'. He might only become a Decepticon by obligation because surely being the leader of their little recruit team, Optimus would not be judged kindly for being even partially organic and that may have an impact on whether or not BETC!Blitz can even begin to get friendly with the ex-Autobot. Again this is a hypothetical I could be wrong about this, but TO!OP would be perhaps a smidge bit pitiful, a dash of mournful for what had been, and probably already either catastrophised or legitmised his abandonment/assumed death as 'being 100% necessary' for removing a faulty cog from the machine.
But looking at Sentinel's reaction to organic lifeforms, especially generalised to ANY organic lifeform, if he had found himself getting techno-organic he would probably be immensely self-loathing to the point of being as physically sick a bot can get... which might be a little bit more than a purely biomechanical cybertonian can ever be. Blackarachnia may self-loath, but she had the spurring of revenge to do something about it and perhaps as part of her Autobot studies as Elita-1 might've put more effort into the sciences to 'reverse the irreversible'. Sentinel doesn't much have that, all he had was the Autobot dream, the approval of the Autobot Elite and the Magnus himself, and indeed the very friends that failed to save him (those that failed to understand that Sentinel had indeed lived). I think in comparison to other bots TO!Sentinel would maybe be at the lowest scale of acceptance and would probably be generally just overwhelmed by anything and everything to do with his new body and perhaps the Decepticons he had to rely on, and BETC!Blitz may indeed relate to the foreign sensation (and the ensuing sickness and dyphoria associated) of a new significantly changed body, but perhaps it's the Autobot propaganda that seems to have really attached itself to Sentinel more so than either of his old, scarred memories of his fellows.
So I guess in summation, TO!Optimus would probably be just a little miserable but mask it under 'being a hero' for sacrificing a moldy cog to save significantly more well off Autobots, which Blitzwing may not much interact with until Optimus slips and the fear of himself is truly revealed, and TO!Sentinel would kinda be both an open book on how much trauma his body causes but also equally as loud as an Autobot propaganda holovid, which is generally hard for Blitzwing to approach at ALL because damn BETC!Blitz was an Autobot experiment and highly hates them for what they had done to the body and how it affected the body's mind. Elita-1 would've met in the middle of the to potentially, and Blackarachnia didn't speak much about who she was beyond a in quotes that don't exist until now 'genetic disaster', which is the kind of insight clue that may have originally connected BETC!Blitzwing to the techno-organic Blackarachnia-
#ask#anonymous#optimus prime#tfa optimus prime#sentinel prime#tfa sentinel prime#blackarachnia#tfa blackarachnia#blitzwing#tfa blitzwing#transformers#tfa#BETCs#bot experiment triple changers#maccadam#i could be wrong on how op and sp would react to being techno-organic#i'm just extrapolating from what was in the show#in order for blitz to find connection to to!op and to!sp they'd have to build up op and break down sp's propaganda#which sentinel seems the most attached to but that might be because op took the sentence and sp had nothing else to attach to left#so perhaps circumstances on the minute detail may shift the characterisations but... i did my best i think#idk i just based it off of how they reacted to blackarachnia and figured it out from there hah

Cedric Narce and his superfriends (along with the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League (a.k.a. Heroes League 98) and JKMBN Elite Forces) are going to wave goodbye, cause they're all going to depart their final farewell trip ahead back home to Planet JCtn
Many thanks to our friends at Leonine Studios. It had really been a dime at the north of the border. Well, it's nearly the end of the "January Robinson Uncork'd" experience and, for "Sean and Dave's old maintenance", it's the end of an old franchise to provide an all-new reboot of an all-new adventure. So as we wish you a happy new year from DEFA AG and ÖFA AG, it's also goodbye and thank you for all your support and kindness within the hero-brave journey from sad to fab. But a New Year's Eve is also a time for looking ahead and, as Rudolf II said, 'New things are made familiar and familiar things made new'. So as we say goodbye to "January Robinson Uncork'd", though putting a sad end to the "January Robinson Uncork'd" experience, we will thankfully get ready to wish you welcome to an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance", with the promise of a full-bodied blend of the new and the familiar. And from all of us here on duty in these early first-ever seconds of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance", a happy new year from and with DEFA AG and ÖFA AG. Well of course, i do hope that we will get the new year off to a good-humoured start, but for now, we're unfortunately coming to a final end of January Robinson Uncork'd, cause we're sadly coming to an ironic end of the "January Robinson Uncork'd" experience. Well there you have it, folks. That was those emotional goodbye songs from Lillian Watson, because ... it is time to say goodbye. We said at the start that we'd come to celebrate, and i think we have. We've enjoyed remembering, and i'm sure you won't forget. So now, with a final farewell smile from those people at DEFA AG and ÖFA AG who've become to many of you, true friends, it's goodbye from us.
Philip Hansa
Maria Cingular: Hey there, guys! Sean and Dave are going to engage the final episode of the JCtn6798 experience at the "January Robinson Uncork'd" experience. It are titled "Farewell, Our Heroes!". Sofia Cingular: Oh boy! We can't wait to engage this episode. Sarah Cingular: Me too. Anyways, let's go for it! Jack Unger: Good evening, chaps! It is so nice to be back again. That's me. Jack Unger. Yo what's up, everyone! Tonight, yours truly and Klaus, along with Sean and Dave are going to have something to tell you all. We're going to have some good news and some bad news to announce, cause i'll first of all announce these good news. These good news is that Sean, Lori, Dave, Rhonda, Isaac, Nadine, Flynn, Tracy, Desmond, Petra, Andrew, Vera, Sam, Anna, Mike, Mary, Melvin, Felicia, Onnoval, Liselore and many more boyfriends and girlfriends are going to have babies. Klaus Boudelaire: Wow! They're so cute! These babies are so cute in their pretty diapers and pajamases. Indy: You said it, Klaus. These babies are certainly so cute, cause you certainly adore it. Fuchsia Egner: They gonna take good care of these babies. Well indeed at that case, are they gonna take care of them? Sean Allison: Yes, Fuchsia. They're gonna take good care of these babies Dave Matson: Of course, Sean. These babies are going to take good care, cause they need to get a bath. Maria Cingular: Oh wow! that's interesting. Sofia Cingular: It is all happening. Sarah Cingular: We get to see these newborn babies for the first time, cause they're so cute in their precious diapers and pajamases. Flipper Luthor: Scotty and Alfie told me that Scotty Jr., Bella, Alfie Jr. and Delia had fun on behaviour card day, cause they had fun. Well that's because they each got rainbow cards! Birk vdE: And so did Mitch Jr., Mia, Magnus Jr. and Mimi. Gabi Hernández: Wow! I'm so glad that those kids are good students in school and relived that they didn't get in dead meat. Magna vdE: I agree with Gabi! Those kids had successfully become good students, cause they're so happy with their rainbow cards. Kirk Hernández: Same here, Magna. You're litterally getting it right. Klaus Boudelaire: It are indeed wonderful that Sean, Lori, Dave, Rhonda and many more boyfriends and girlfriends had birthed their newborn babies, cause it are also wonderful that Scotty Jr., Bella, Alfie Jr., Delia, Mitch Jr., Mia, Magnus Jr. and Mimi had obtained these rainbow kids. But anyway, what is those bad news? Jack Unger: Those bad news is that Cedric Narce and his family, along with the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces are going to wave goodbye, because they're sadly leaving Earth, cause they're about to depart their final farewell trip ahead back home to Planet JCtn. Well however, not only that, the "January Robinson Uncork'd" experience are unfortunately coming to a sad end, becuase Shalim are unfortunately going to wave goodbye, because he's sadly gonna fade away into the night sky, and therefore dissolve into oblivion forever. SA singers: Already?!? Oh brother!! *Weeping trombone (Wah-wah-wah-wah) [SA version]* DM singers: Already?!? Awww man!! *Weeping trombone (Wah-wah-wah-wah) [DM version]* Susan Pevensie: Oh my! What the! Cedric and his superfriends (alongside the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces) are going to leave Earth?! And then, Shalim are going to die in the night sky?! That's sounds ironic! Sarah Cingular: Oh... my... god! Cedric and his superfriends (along with the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces) are going to depart their final farewell trip ahead back home to Earth. And then, afterwards, Shalim are therefore waving goodbye, cause he will unfortunately pan out into the night sky, and therefore dissolve into oblivion forever. It does not feel so good! Sofia Cingular: It are really going to be most ironic moments that we'll ever witness in our lives. ...
We'll be taking a short break...
We're now back again.
... Maria Cingular: I'm afraid it does, Sofia and Sarah! We're really gonna miss Cedric and his superfriends (including the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces). And we're also gonna miss Shalim. It awfully seems so sad. Sean Allison: I'm afraid it is, Susan. After having vanquished Lord Aytien, Emperor Eville and the Prince of Darkness, as well as all those Evil Forces and all those Evil Aytien Forces, and therefore saved the world from ruination, Cedric Narce and his superfriends, along with the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces are about to wave goodbye, cause they're about to depart their final farewell trip ahead back home to Planet JCtn. Well by the way, we'll also not forget that Shalim are sadly waving goodbye, because the "January Robinson Uncork'd" experience are coming to a sad end. Well indeed, as the "January Robinson Uncork'd" experience are coming to a sad end, Shalim will sadly fade away into the night sky, cause he will sadly disintegrate into oblivion for good. Dave Matson: Oh boy, it seems ironic. Well of course, it is correct, because Cedric and his superfriends, along with the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces had already defeated Lord Aytien, Emperor Eville and the Prince of Darkness, and all those Evil Forces as well as those Evil Aytien Forces, and they had therefore already saved the world from ruination, because they'll ironically wave goodbye, cause they're gonna depart their final farewell trip ahead back home to Planet JCtn. Oh, by the way, we'll also not forget that the "January Robinson Uncork'd" experience are ironically coming to an ironic end, because Shalim are sadly bidding farewell, cause he will sadly pullback ahead up into the night sky, and he will therefore be dissolved into oblivision for all eternity. Peter Pevensie: Oh bruh! That is so ironic. Will Cedric really go? And will Shalim unfortunately die? Klaus Boudelaire: Yes, Peter. It is correct. ... Well indeed, i'm afraid it does. Daniela vdE: We do all know that, but can't they just take a moment in the studio for a little while before they go? Edmund Pevensie: They would love to, Daniela. But Juno and her son Satoshi Akari told them that they must go back to Planet JCtn so that they can start their new reboot of their next upcoming, brand-new troublemaker-slaying adventure. Andrea vdE: I agree, Edmund. Cedric and his superfriends, along with JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces are sadly waving goodbye, cause they're sadly departing out from Earth and ahead back home to Planet JCtn, because we're all gonna miss them. Well by the way, Shalim are unfortunately putting a sad end to the "January Robinson Uncork'd" experience, because he will sadly wave goodbye and he will therefore zoomout ahead up into the starry night sky and he will therefore disintegrate into particled oblivion forever. I'm afraid it does, well unfortunately, we're all gonna miss them. Awww... that's sounds ironic. We're really gonna miss all of them. Lucy Pevensie: It had already been a slice that Cedric and his superfriends, alongside the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces were all having a very good time at the "January Robinson Uncork'd" experience, cause they've been so delighted to be part of the crew. Well by the way, they also had a fun time of doing LT Bloopers and ESC Bloopers, as well as some various Logo Intro Bloopers. Rasmus vdE: They even had a cool time of engaging various odds and ends. Fuchsia Egner: They won't forget the time that Melvin Carlsberg and Sam Orlando had their control-freak tendencies removed. Melvin Carlsberg: Well of course, it was at that time, Cedric and his superfriends, as well as the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces we're getting some good help of the Special Forces, cause they defeated the Tic Controllosa creature, so that they could prevent the plague of psychopathy. ...
We'll be taking a short break...
We're now back again.
... Sam Orlando: You got it right, Melvin. I am very happy that i had successfully got rid of my control-freak tendencies, because the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces were certainly getting good help of the Special Forces, cause they successfully defeated the Tic Controllosa creature, by successfully halting the plague of psychopathy. Klaus Boudelaire: My most memorable favourite moment is that we defeated Magmarina Ash and stopped the most tragic heat death all over the world. Lori Allison: Cause it was when we unleashed our omnethian instincts. Rhonda Reynolds: That's right, Lori! We had certainly unleashed our omnethian instincts with the help of Jean Phoenia, Julia Nightingale, Gerald Garuda, Chris Sunbird and Paloma Paradisaeidae. Stella Markýe: It was also when we upgraded our Sailor Scout powers. Jenny Markýe: Well not only that, we also upgraded Terry, Clark and Hilbert's supergentlemen powers. Lisa Markýe: It is all thanks to Madonna and our parents. Terry Hardhý: You got it right, Missy, Jenny and Eliza. Clark Kellison: I agree with Missy, Jenny and Eliza. Hilbert Ahern: Ditto. Sean Allison: That same goes for our superhero forms. Dave Matson: You got it right, Sean. We're certainly upgraded our superhero forms. Desmond Allison: Well that's because Harry's birth parents had thankfully granded our superhero forms on behalf of the deities of Sinnoh and Unova. Andrew Matson: Well of course, it is all thanks to Harry's parents who are Angelus warriors, but i wonder how DJ Allison and DJ Matson got their superhero forms. DJ Allison: That had been a very long adventure, Desmond. But it will be a start of a new adventure. DJ Matson: This had been a very long story, Andrew. But that's another story. SA singers: It will indeed be another story at another day. DM singers: Another story for another day, you must say. *Rim-shot (B'dum-tss)* Sunny Boudelaire: And of course, my favourite moment is that we defeated Emperor Eville, the Prince of Darkness and Lord Aytien, and all those Evil Forces of Satan's Kingdom, as well as all those Evil Aytien Forces of the Evil Aytien Galaxy. Violet Boudelaire: That's my favourite moment, too. Thorbjørn Gesink: Well said, darling. It is also my favourite moment, too. Ernst Gesink: It are indeed at that time that we gathered all our forces such as the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League, JKMBN Elite Forces, Anti ROM-Hacking Forces, Special Forces, Heaven Logo Alliance, Heaven Pixie Alliance, Heaven Fairy Alliance, Heavenly Forces, Heavenly Brolis Pipkia Forces, the Deities of Sinnoh and Unova and many more forces to fight off the ultimate threat against Emperor Eville, Satan and Lord Aytien himself to wipe us all out and control the universe. Thorbjørn Gesink: Well because of this, they meant business, since Emperor Eville, the Prince of Darkness and Lord Aytien were summoning up all their neitherworld monsters. Ernst Gesink: King Dice were first of all easy to dispose, then the White Pumpkin were medium to dispose, and then, Emperor Eville, the Prince of Darkness and Lord Aytien were extremely difficult hard to dispose, well that's because as for finishing off Emperor Eville, the Prince of Darkness and Lord Aytien, it was a too-way very-long final battle, but with the help of the Inter-Universe Superheroes, we successfully finished off those devious pesky pooh-bahs of perdition and their infernal Kingdom had been reduced to broken ruins, well not only that, we also don't forget that Lord Aytien's infernal galaxy had been perished into oblivion at that same time. Violet Boudelaire: That hardly seems like a while ago since our ultimate triumph. Sunny Boudelaire: But now, the Earth had already been reconstructed back to its original glory, cause all of the citizens are celebrating the most grandiose victory of the Inter-Universe Superheroes. ...
We'll be taking a short break...
We're now back again.
... Klaus Boudelaire: Well there you have it, guys. It are now official, because Cedric and his superbesties, along with the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces are about to leave Earth and therefore depart their final farewell trip ahead back home to Planet JCtn. Well not only that, we also won't forget that Shalim are going to die, cause he will sadly zoom-out into the starry night sky and therefore dissolve into oblivion forever. Dave Matson: Yes, it does, Mr. Boudelaire. I'm afraid i will tell you this, because Cedric and his superfriends, alongside the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces are going to depart their final farewell trip ahead back home to Planet JCtn, and we'll also won't forget that Shalim are bidding farewell, cause he will sadly pull back ahead up into the starry night sky, and therefore dissolve into eternal particles forever. Sean Allison: I'm so worried, because i hate you to tell this, Dave. But anyway, Cedric are waving goodbye, because he and his superfriends, alongside the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces are about to leave Earth and therefore depart their final farewell trip ahead back home to Planet JCtn, well not only that, we also won't forget that Shalim are sadly bidding farewell, because he will ironically zoom-out ahead up into the starry night sky and therefore disintegrate into broken sparks forever. But anyway, don't despair, Dave. Well then, after Shalim's unfortunate death, yours truly, along with Dave and all my friends will thankfully be revived, cause we will luckily be resurrected just like that, so with that, as for me and Dave, we're going to introduce an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance". Dave Matson: Oh wow. That's very nice of you, Sean. It are indeed going to be wonderful that Sean and I, along with our friends are all gonna be revived and thankfully resurrected, so by that case, as for Sean and I, we're going to introduce an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance". Cy Osborn: Are you sure that you two are going to get ready for an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance"? You may agree that, Sean and Dave? Sean Allison: Yes, Cy. It are indeed a good idea, cause we can't hardly wait to engage an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance". Dave Matson: That's the spirit, Sean. We two can't hardly wait to start an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance". Jack Unger: I hate you to tell you this, Sean and Dave. But however, Celina Momoboshi are also going to wave goodbye, because she and her friends are also leaving Earth as well. Well additionally, we also won't forget that Alistair Tenma are also waving goodbye, because he and his friends (including Wanda Eagles and her babies) are also leaving Earth as well. Cy Osborn: Oh sphincter! SA singers: Oh sphincter! DM singers: Oh sphincter! Klaus Boudelaire: Oh sphincter! Whatever... Cy Osborn: Geez Louise. It are sounding ironic. Miss C and Astro are going to wave goodbye too. Biggi Lindgren: Oh my, what. Cedricette and AstroMatson are also gonna wave goodbye, cause they're also gonna depart that same farewell trip ahead back home to their respective home planets. Fly Osborn: Yes, Cy and Biggi. It are indeed correct, because Celina Momoboshi and her friends, and Alistair Tenma and his friends (including Wanda Eagles and her babies) are unfortunately going to depart their final farewell trip ahead back home to Planet Miss C and Planet Astro-Tenma. It is so ironic because Celina and Timur, along with their friends, are sadly going to return back home to Planet Miss C. Well by the way, we also won't forget that Alistair Tenma and Wanda Eagles, along with their friends (including Wanda's babies) are sadly going to return back home to Planet Astro-Tenma. Oh, by the way, we'll also not forget Ariel Marshe, cause she and her friends are also gonna depart their final farewell trip as well. Katelyn Cunliffe: Oh babe. Well then, we're all gonna miss them. ...
We'll be taking a short break...
We're now back again.
... Angus MacMorrow: You said it, Fly and Katelyn. We're unfortunately gonna miss all of them. Aicha Kosmachev: I agree, Angus. We're certainly gonna miss them all. Megan Evers: I'm so glad Arthur that we done it so well, cause we're so glad that we're part of Sean and Dave's crew. Well by the way, all those best moments of the "January Robinson Uncork'd" experience that we have, they really are just so spectacular. *sobbing* It is now over. The "January Robinson Uncork'd" experience is finally over, because Cedric and his superfriends, and the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League, JKMBN Elite Forces are sadly departing their final farewell trip ahead back home to Planet JCtn, cause i gonna miss them all. And then, Shalim are sadly passing away, because he'll awfully zoom-out into the night sky, and he'll therefore get reduced into broken particles forever, cause i also gonna miss him too. Arthur Suchot: I'm afraid it does, Megan. At that case, it is true, because Cedric and his superfriends, alongside the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces are sadly departing their final farewell trip ahead back home to Planet JCtn, cause we're all gonna miss them. But not only that, we also won't forget that Shalim are sadly bidding farewell, because he will sadly fade away into the night sky, and he will therefore be dissolved into dazzling aurora lights for good. It is so ironic, because we're all gonna miss him. But anyway, don't worry, Megan. There's no need to be depressed, because we too will always belong together, and besides, we'll always be part of the team, cause Sean and Dave will come here to visit us whenever we get a chance. Megan Evers: Phew. That's an relief. Thank goodness, Arthur. I'm so glad that you've resolved me. We're really happy that we been reunited cause we'll always gonna belong together just like that. Arthur Suchot: You're welcome, Megan. Harold Haddock: At that case it are going to be awesome that an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance" are ready to begin, because i can't wait to experience this brand-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance". Karen Damen: I agree with, Para, KC and Harold. It are indeed going to be awesome that an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance" are about to begin. Félicie Le Bras: Oh well. That was it. Cedric and his superfriends, alongside the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces had sadly departed far away from Earth. And then, Shalim had ironically erased from history for good. Cause this are now officially true. It are sounding very unfortunate. Sarah Cingular: Oh.. my... God! That... was... ironic! Sofia Cingular: It... had... really... been... the... most... emotional... moment... Maria Cingular: We... ever... witnessed... in... our... lives! We're now all gonna break down in tears, because Cedric and his superfriends, alongside the JCtn Squad, JZtn Elite Squad, JStn.98 Hero League and JKMBN Elite Forces had departed their farewell trip ahead back home to Planet JCtn. And then, Shalim had sadly waved goodbye, cause he had ironically zoomed-out ahead up into the night stars, and he therefore got disintegrated into dead particles, cause he's now gone forever. Sofia Cingular: But what's the most emotional moment? Sarah Cingular: Goh and Hop Mammadov and their friends are departing their final farewell trip. Maria Cingular: Goh and Hop Mammadov and their friends are departing their final farewell trip? No! No! No no no no no! It cannot be! It cannot be good! This cannot be good! *crying* Sofia Cingular: I'm afraid it is, Maria sis! Maria Cingular / Sofia Cingular: *crying* Sarah Cingular: I'm afraid it is, Maria and Sofia! It are really going to be the most saddest day of crying. Maria Cingular / Sofia Cingular / Sarah Cingular: *crying* Brendan Cingular: What's wrong, girls? Why are you crying? ...
We'll be taking a short break...
We're now back again.
... Sofia Cingular: Goh and Hop Mammadov we're unfortunately departing their final farewell trip, because they engaged their final episode called "The Rainbow and the Troublemaker-Slayer"... Margo Cingular: Um... Don't be afraid, Cingular Sisters. TootyCH and Harry are never losing any hope. Brendan Cingular: At recently a while ago, TootyCH had told Sean and Dave that she and Harry are going to introduce some new friends, especially us, i guess... Margo Cingular: Don't feel upset, Cingular Sisters! I was in tears too because that episode was very emotional too. Brendan Cingular: But not me, because i holded my tears and i did not cry. As TootyCH and Miss M would say: Try not to cry challenge. Margo Cingular: Anyways, let's give some hug! Narrator (voiced by RoboSoft 4): Later, after Margo and Brendan Cingular gave a hug to the Cingular Sisters... Sofia Cingular: Thank you, Margo and Brendan! Sarah Cingular: We're now starting to feel better! Maria Cingular: I love your hugs! That hug makes me feel a lot better! Margo Cingular: Anytime, girls! Also, an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance" are about to begin, as stated by Sean and Dave. Brendan Cingular: Since you mentioned an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance", my next video are going to be: "Brendan and Friends: Episode 1 - An All-New Reboot". Sean Allison: It are indeed a good idea. Well of course, i can't wait to engage an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance". Dave Matson: You got it right, Sean. It are indeed going to be an awesome brand-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance". Melvin Carlsberg: I agree with Sean and Dave. I'm seriously getting excited that it are going to start an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance". Sam Orlando: Oh boy! It's an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance"! But i might try not to mistreat Scotty like i did in the past. Alfie Atkins: Precisely! We can't hardly wait to engage an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance". Scotty B. Free: I agree, Sam. It are indeed going to be a brand new start of an all-new reboot of "Sean and Dave's new maintenance".

I was struck by the description of Crowley in the latest Major Arcana chapter as the mage who had designed the entire 20th century - which I’m sure he would have found gratifying. Outside of fiction, do you think there is a serious case to be made for his direct influence as more than an articulation of the general spiritual flight inwards following the death of God and the advent of modernity?
Thanks for reading! I swiped the sentiment on behalf of Simon Magnus from the Art of Darkness podcast episode on Crowley, still my main source of Crowley information, along with Colin Wilson's The Occult: A History and Douglas Rushkoff's Aleister & Adolf graphic novel, though I did read The Book of the Law three times in the last month to write (or rather revise) that chapter. I think one of the pod hosts said, "It's Crowley's world, we're just living in it."
Crowley's worldview in general has gradually triumphed, all the more because it's been shorn by now of its gothic and "wicked" trappings and now presents itself to us as a sunny and cheerful matter of personal liberation, even at this point by medical professionals. You're right, though—and I'm not totally sure he'd object, since he did theorize the turning over of the Aeon even as he aggrandized himself—that this is part of a more general modernization process including figures either more prominent or more respectable than Crowley. Emerson or Mill or Nietzsche or Wilde or Jung or any number of others represent more superficially secular (or just less hokey) forms of the same radicalizing metaphysical individualism he did. The case for his direct design of later history, if a little conspiratorial, would rest on his putative assistance as both spy and meme warrior to the British state in the two World Wars, thus helping liberal capitalism to triumph over its collectivist enemies, and then, in continuity with this, his postwar influence on the Dionysian revels of popular music in the '60s and '70s, with The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, and more, which altered, among other things, the very way we live in our bodies.
(Novelists shouldn't explicate their own fiction, but that line, leaving aside its cogency as cultural criticism, has two purposes within the narrative. Psychologically, it reveals that Simon Magnus secretly feels inferior to the educated and tasteful Ellen Chandler, despite SM's coming from the superior class background to hers. Sociologically, it hints at another revolution than the one Crowley effected: the mid-to-late-20th-century rise of the educated class represented by Ellen Chandler over the old money elite to which SM belongs by blood. Just as Crowley's will-to-power helped to inspire English working-class artists thematically and aesthetically adjacent to my fictional Simon Magnus, such as The Beatles and Alan Moore, I figured he could also be made the ideological accomplice to the rise within popular culture of an out-caste member of the old and culturally dispossessed American elite. [I may have had Pynchon, with his Puritan background and occult interests, in mind.] Plus, aligning Crowley with SM's New England heritage in this way suggests the wicked mage's kinship with the radical cultural movements our own Puritanism inadvertently spawned, from Transcendentalism to the American Gothic, cf. Crowley's own background as the scion of wealthy merchants who were also Protestant fundamentalists.)

I really do like that even Ultra Magnus himself acknowledges this in “The Elite Guard” episode. And even had the balls to reprimand and chaste Sentinel like a freaking toddler
You know how people ignore the fact that TFA Optimus is willing is destroy his Megatron, but decides to let him rot in prison instead?
A lot of people also ignore that Optimus might be loyal to Ultra Magnus, but he isn’t as obedient or submissive to Ultra Magnus as everyone thinks…
Yes, Optimus prefers to follow the rules, but he’s willing to break them behind the backs of his leaders, if it meant doing the right thing!
