And while some seemed to be content with their life in this place, Magnus was determined to figure out what was actually going on. And how he could return home. Because, Magnus was not willing to simply give up like this.

"Just like my husband," He mused, finishing the potion he was brewing. This one was for a customer, although, Magnus was really tempted to just try it out himself first. Just to be sure it would work as expected.

"The two of you really would get along well. If he would be here, that is...."

.｡.:*☆ "If you are looking for fictional books, I am not sure if I can be much of a help," Magnus mused while humming, turning his attention to the other person as he did. "You see, I have never been much of a fictional reader myself. Actually, I came here hoping to find some books about magic." It was naive, and Magnus knew it. He would have more luck with this mission in the library, most likely. But oh well, it was as it was. "Also I am not entirely sure where the trend is going these days. Not vampires anymore though, from what I have heard." He chuckled lightly.

asterin ran her manicured nail against the desk a soft hum escaping her lips she'd woken up here in ivycove a week ago. it had taken her that time to get used to the fact that not only was she alive but she had her wings back. "what books would you recommend." she asked, turning to look at the other person standing between the stacks of books. "the books here seem a tad different to the fae books back home - but i am keen to pick up a story again." the brunette explained, tucking her wings behind her so that she fit comfortably where she stood.

                     Magnus wasn’t anyone. At least, he wasn’t anyone special. He was just an actor, and not a very famous one at that, Alexander Lightwood was a name that everyone knew, but Magnus Bane? No, he’d never be worthy of Alec. But it was possible he could want him, wasn’t it? In his wildest dreams?  “Really?” Magnus asked, his voice cracking as he stared up into the eyes of a man he so desperately loved.

When things happened; he had at first joked about it a lot. Given how often he’d always been like ‘what if zombies’ growing up. But over time it grew just rather annoying. Also certainly nothing like you would think. Having parted with his siblings a while back; different ideas of where to stay and who with. Ending up out on his own.

Finding a nearby small town, an relatively intact building to raid. Cautiously creeping along the rooftops. At the ready in case was actually some hostile people around. Or a zombie on the roof, it happened occasionally. Eventually swinging in through a window on the top floor.

      Magnus had been holed up in this building for quite some time, waiting for his brother to return. They’d been separated in a zombie attack at their last place, and they were supposed to meet up here in emergency situations. Magnus feared the worst; that Ragnor was dead, but he refused to leave, knowing that he was at least safe if anything. 

       That was until he heard feet on the rooftop, and he swung his machete to point at the window. His eyes widened as a tall form stepped through, and he curled up on himself, hand pressed to a not yet healed wound on his stomach. “I--I have nothing of value here,” He stated, keeping the sword up, unable to see the other’s features in the darkness, “Please don’t hurt me.”

They really had made it this far, and on some days, it felt unreal with all the stones life was throwing in their way all the time. And Ivy Cove was not peaceful as well. Not all the time, at least. Just another week or so ago a new building had popped up out of nowhere. And Magnus was sure it would not be the last one, either.

"Usually, I would invite you to a trip, but since we can not leave the island, all I can offer is a boat tour. You know, Disney style. Sadly though, I was not able to hire a crab to sing for us there."
