I feel like I'm starting too many threads (I've been known to have like 7 RPs with the same person at times when my creativity is high) but 🔥 from bad situation starters with Wren and Willy? I immediately thought of the scene in the movie when the shop is on fire. Also wanted to say that you're cool and I'm glad we met even though I was nervous to interact first :>

As sugar statues BURNED around them, so did young Willy’s dreams of opening the world’s first Wonka storefront. The lease on the place was only good for seven days total and building such magnificence as a life-size chocolate tree (inhabited by head-turning owls and ripe with jumbo cherry fruits)—among other things—had taken a good few of those days. Suffice to say, the candy maker expected to live out the remainder of their contract—not only the one for the shop, but the ones for their respective work at the disrespectful Scrubbit’s—and yet here they were, watching aromatic blazes burst out before them. Who knew shattered hopes could smell so appetizing?

“Wanda?!” Willy called, his usual pluck replaced by fear and desperation. He’d seen his friends from the wash house go running out the exits with the other townsfolk but he didn’t recall seeing his sibling alongside any of them. Knowing how headstrong was his twin, Willy figured the woman was probably trying—however in vain, at this point—to salvage some of their edible assets. While Willy was good at building things, his sister was better at putting things back together after they... inevitably.... came crashing down.

He practically dove across the marshmallow bridge, dodging clumps of fallen cotton candy clouds entangled with smoke, throwing himself into the heart of the heat. He would not leave this place without her. Even if it was the last thing he ever did. Or didn’t do, as may be the case.

It’s just as well it should end here, the thought crossed his mind darkly. It didn’t work. Momma didn’t come see. At least, this way, the family could all be together again.

Seven the ex-Borg Fenris Ranger from the Delta Quadrant. Hell of a pilot, impressive reputation. She and Picard seemed acquainted, not just by reputation. “It’s Seven, right? I’m Cris Rios. I’ve heard about you. You have good timing.” That Bird of Prey had them cornered. They would’ve been fine if they didn’t get caught so close to the planet’s security field. Seven’s rescue prevented them from being pushed into it, though she lost her own ship to it. “Impressive flying.” He’s not exactly known for showering people with praise. He meant it.
