I do really think that if you want to write gangs/characters in gangs you should actually do research on how gangs really work, the culture, the lingo, etc, and not just consume media that has fictionalized gang shit in it.

Like people join gangs for reasons, gangs form in the first place for reasons. Gangs have internal structures and complex interactions with other gangs as well as their neighborhoods and the local law enforcement.

Illegal Arms and Explosives Manufactured in Bihar. Distribution in Kolkata.

09 January 2025: Recovery of 7mm pistol from one Raju near Surendranath College, near Sealdah Kolkata, leads to illegal arms factories in Madhubani.

After the interrogation of Raju Kolkata Police STF team with its counter part in Bihar, , in a covert operation, located and raided the arms factory which was running in an automobile repairing workshop in Madhubani district in Bihar.

Another factory was also unearthed located in the house of one of the accused Birju.

Huge recovery of semi-finished 7mm pistols and bullets were made.

Arms were being supplied to contacts in Kolkata and West Bengal since many years.

Three persons namely Iftikhar Alam, Raju Chowdhury alias Birju, and Ishtiaque Alam, were arrested from the spot. They have large number of contacts in Kolkata among Muslim Biharis in different localities.

In past on many occaisons Kolkata Police stumbled upon illegal fire arm supplies in Kolkata, almost each of them led to one or the other arms factories holed up in Bihar and no other state.

It is feared thousands of illegal fire arms may have been supplied to members of emigrant population in Kolkata.
