Anyway Madame Masque gets killed in this issue, but it turns out it’s just a clone of her so she’s not really dead.

And Iron Man beats up Rhino.

At the end of the issue, Ghost shows up–but it’s literally in the last panel.

Tony Stark, crippled but walking in his Iron Man suit, fights off mysterious attempts at industrial sabotage across his corporation.

The saboteurs even use dreadnauts!  He tries to get help from Madame Masque, who isn’t interested.  It reads like it’s just a way to work her into a story so we the readers remember she exists.

After a brief fill-in for #202, we’re back to a complex Denny O’Neil script.  Madame Masque has pulled a body switch with Bethany Cabe, shown above.  Obadiah Stane made it all happen, but of course he’s dead now—but that doesn’t stop Masque from taking the opportunity to get close to Tony Stark so she can kill him.
