Happy Valentine's Day! I picked an appropriately cute and pink album for today-- and then it turned out to be breakcore-esque anyway X3 oops! Hope you like the vibes regardless

Date: Wednesday February 14th Album: Many Many Sweets Artist: Macdonald Duck Eclair Released: 1999 Genre: Picopop Review: I didn’t know 90s had breakcore until now. This album blends a cute X3 energy with the manic, frantic vibes of typical breakcore, and is all the better for it. There’s glockenspiel and adorable bells, but also whining synths and raging drums layered above. It’s a best of both worlds situation, and does a great job blending everything together. It’s out there, jumping back and forth between different moods, but undoubtedly balances it expertly. Favorite Track: Many Many Sweets

I am listening to The Yellow Go by Macdonald Duck Eclair. It feels like a good song to listen to while starting a tumblr again. I first heard it five years ago, at a critical juncture in my life. A certain person recommended it to me. I haven’t talked to that person in a very long time! Maybe I’ll never talk to them again. Every time I listen to this song I think about what a weirdo that person must have thought I was. 

I don’t think I’ve ever tried recommending it to anyone before. It is my firm belief that having liked another person’s recommendation it is my duty to someday somehow give the same recommendation to someone else (we refer to this philosophy as “the three ‘some’s”. I’m not sure if posting this song on tumblr amounts to a recommendation though. I guess I’ll have more chances in the future to find the right person who needs this song (and band) recommended to them.
