Yellow è un party nuovo di zecca che fa ballare ogni domenica, dal 4 agosto 2019 (dopo la falsa partenza dovuta al maltempo del 28 luglio), la Capannina di Castiglione della Pescaia (GR), un club d'eccellenza che fa divertire fin dal 1975. Il sound della festa è perfetto per chiudere il weekend con il sorriso sulla labbra, ballando fino all'alba house, hip hop e r'n'b.

Yellow fa ballare soprattutto canzoni prodotte negli anni '90 e negli anni 2000, quando ritmo  faceva sempre rima con melodia e viceversa. Yellow sta per giallo, ma è soprattutto il colore del sole, dell'estate e della musica che fa star bene.

Al mixer e alla direzione artistica di Yellow c'è Luca Guerrieri, un professionista della musica da ballo conosciuto in mezzo mondo. Tra l'altro Luca appena remixato e pubblicato sulla sua etichetta Claps Records un brano che potrebbe essere il manifesto musicale della festa,  "Sunshine & Happiness" di Nerio's Dubwork meets Darryl Pandy. L'originale uscì nel 1999 e ancora oggi, in ogni versione, non sentire sole & felicità ascoltandolo è semplicemente impossibile.

Riassumendo alla sostanza, dal 28 luglio il weekend si chiude in dolcezza: alla Capannina di Castiglione della Pescaia (GR) c'è Yellow: 50% house, 50% hip hop & dintorni (r'n'b, downbeat).

The Final Conflict

‘’The Final Conflict aka Matt Masters, has been involved in promoting, djing, and producing drum & bass for the last 16 years in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Matt Has always preferred darker side of the scene, the drum & bass scene, promoting, producing, djing, & capturing Neurofunk Drum & Bass as his weapon of choice, which definitely served as a difficult task in a town consumed by Jump Up Drum & Bass. Never the less Matt made it work with much success and proved Neurofunk to be worthy of a crowd in Kitchener as he was the only dj/producer/promoter attempting to make something the subgenre in his hometown, which ultimately emphasized  originality of his dj sets & the artists he promoted.

TFC has played alongside some of the biggest names in drum & bass, such as Marcus Visionary (Toronto, CAN); John Rolodex (Dread, Metalheadz, Freak Recordings); Gremlinz (Renegade Hardware); etc. And has made a name for himself at a number of outdoor festivals in Canada from east to west.

Currently Matt is producing a plethora of Electronic Music, from dubstep & drumstep to techno & electro-house, even a bit of ambient edm, but has claimed neurofunk drum & bass as his main priority.

Mr Baker is dedicated to his friend Mike Baker in remembrance of Beau Baker, who was sadly lost but not forgotten. The neurofunk drum & bass composition was written, produced, composed & mixed by The Final Conflict (Matt Masters) in Ontario, Canada; MK 2017; & was mastered by Deimos - Hidden Company in 2017. ''

I learned how to play drums, guitar and mainly bass but it was listening to jungle in the late 90s that really got me into music production. I like dark heavy sounds with a strong element of funk and have been trying to make it on any music software I could since then.

Other than dnb my influences range from Pink Floyd, nin, 80s pop, weird stuff like Twin Peaks, sci-fi in general and especially Iain M. Banks, oldschool hardcore and trance, gabba, deep house producers like Herbert, basically anything that comes from the heart and pushes the use of technology forward.

The concept behind Frequency is a bit cheesy and typical, it's loosely based on the idea of being invaded by an organically and mechanically advanced alien species. It is an attempt to represent the point of homing in on earth, becoming aware of our fucked up destructive nature, and making the decision to intervene. It's also just a result of having some fun with sounds and enjoying the process of making music, and seeing where it takes me.''

''Anandi (Zensae) (1998) has been a musician for over a decade, singer songwriting was his first ambition as a guitar player/singer and Zensae was always looking for more music and more instruments to play. As he eventually felt out of creative ideas, visiting a lot of parties at the local skatepark/event centre; The Hall of Fame in Tilburg he got in to drum and bass, dub, and also the Dutch free party scene (2015) where he quickly decided to produce tracks as well. At first Zensae had a go at Raggatek, Jungletek, Ravecore and Tekno, but since this year production in Ableton has took its effort, coming at you with hard styles of DNB, Jungle, and Hardtek!''

Видео-отчёт с фестиваля @prosvetfestival, который прошёл в Перми 12-13 октября. Я прибыл на @zavodshpagina за полтора часа до закрытия. Очередь там была бесконечная! Охрана вещала, что через 10 минут прекратят запускать людей. Мне повезло - успел пройти ворота. Считаю, что фестиваль ещё на 2 дня надо было продлить. А потом около часа я шатался по бывшим цехам и среди толпы людей пытался снимать фото и видео. Мне очень понравилось. Неон, киберпанк, лазеры, технологии, темнота, тени, вспышки - это я люблю. Про мелодию в ролике тоже история. 20 лет назад я на музыкальном редакторе Music2000 сочинил целых 5 музыкальных альбомов. Редактор этот, замечу, на игровой консоли PlayStation. Понимаете смысл?😎 5 альбомов за 4 года в жанрах Dark embient, IDM и Elecronic. Здесь одна из самых весёлых мелодий представлена.
