And we start where we left off (previous | next) • Ronen revealed to his wife that he’s having a baby with another woman • Londyn kicked him out until the kids come back from their Senior Trip in Mt. Komerobi
Setting the scene…
It’s three days later. Three days since he told his wife. Ronen had a couple of shows lined up for the next week so being kicked out of the house hasn’t really hit him yet. Since he had a gig in Del Sol Valley, he figured he’d stop in to see Alex, the woman carrying his 4th child.
He hadn’t spoke to Alex in a couple of weeks as he mentally prepared to tell his wife what he’s done. Crashing at Alex’s house didn’t feel right so he’d make a quick stop to make sure she’s okay and reassure her that he’ll be there for her,
When Alex asked Ronen is he loves her he was conflicted with emotions. On one hand, he has deep feelings for Alex— their attraction was instant. But then he is filled with immense guilt for stepping outside of his marriage, weakened by his insecurities.
He feels like saying he loves Alex is a bigger slap in the face to Londyn but he’s already done incredible damage. He might as well be honest; he does love her. It’s just a crappy situation.
When Alex let Ronen feel the baby kick, his whole world stopped. Time was paused. Nothing else mattered.
This was real.
This child deserves a good father regardless of how they got here. His heart swelled with elation. From that point, he’d do his very best to be part of this baby’s life, physically, emotionally, and financially.

Why did Vanessa and Eric get to skate in the team event? Didn’t MT/M win nationals?
i don't remember the rationale, but it was a bumpy up and down season for MTM, and sometimes skaters want to reserve some stamina for the individual event and not skate both segments. Canada also knew going in that they weren't one of the top 3 in the team event - Mike Slipchuk said they thought they were fighting for somewhere between 4th and 6th, and there was a chance they wouldn't make top 5 and advance to the free, especially with Keegan stuck in Vancouver with a positive covid test - i think it was Maddie Schizas that saved them. but they sent MTM out to skate the segment they knew Canada was definitely competing

Day 3, an additional 83 minutes, so 340 minutes/5 hours and 40 minutes;
Dress is done! I did not make this hat, it’s one I picked up a year or so ago. I’m done working with the chenille for now. The skirt hem keeps wanting to roll up; I guess I could’ve used the 4s on that Ike the rest of the skirt instead of 6s, but I was afraid the fuzzy yarn would be too thick. Oh well, live and learn. The bodice is also still a few stitches too big…but it might fit a Curvy (I think the pattern was made for a 90s body so that’s explain it too I guess), however Evie is a Standard MtM and the dress is hers for the season. The Furry Reveal Deer’s boots go splendidly with it ^^
So challenge failed, but if I hadn’t had technical difficulties I might’ve gotten it done. Still, got a dress out of it, so fun all the same.

This is what I think the producers/writers should’ve done with the show Rhoda:
1. They should’ve shown us more of her and Joe’s dating life. They should’ve dated throughout season 1
2. First half of season 2, Joe asks Rhoda to move in with him, and she’s okay with it, until she isn’t. She asks him to marry her. Midseason, we see them marry (and the MTM cast is there, of course). S2 finale, Rhoda finds out she’s pregnant
3. S3, we get pregnant shenanigan, sister bonding, lots of call backs to MTM. It worked hella well for I Love Lucy
4. S4 opener is a two parter where Rhoda and Joe have the baby. Normal sitcom “she’s about to have the baby” comedy ensues. We see Rhoda struggle with being a Mom, because she’s terrified she’ll end up like Ida
5. S5, I don’t know. Maybe a lot of Brenda/baby Gerard babysitting comedy. Basically anything that wasn’t S5

I've been following this blog for a long time (4 years ago???), but never got around to submitting art bc I don't have a Tumblr.
No better time than today!
By the page:
1. Mizar the Magnificent movie poster (That's Bael on the left, Stella on the right, and the mysterious Alcor behind it all- it's not quite right, but I drew it before the show was fleshed out more)
2. MtM concept art for the magical girl costume
3. Alcor defeating Bill Cipher
4. Various random sketches. Top left is hazard signs for magical radiation, areas of magical practice, and potentially hazardous transfigurative effects if ingested. Rainbow Mabel and Rosa are labelled. Sethany in the bottom right corner, and some tessellated pine trees in the bottom left. (Also a weird Alcor-ian creature? Don't know what that is) Khoshekh snuck in from Night Vale to keep Sethany company.
5. Another MtM poster, maybe a still from the show?
6. Nightmares. I think both were described in an old post. The one on the right didn't have a name, I think, but was described as making you hallucinate when you were around it.
7. Alcor being summoned
8. Mabel and Henry on their wedding day
9. Cult bashing Mabel having a little too much fun
10. Mira in entirely too many petticoats
11. Hank trying to calm down a high AF Dip
12. The triplets in that one fic where they get kidnapped and use a little bit of demonic magic
13. Sleepy Alcor (Response to: https://transcendence-au.tumblr.com/post/614150151966162944/yknow-that-seiya-fic-where-theyre-all-at-the)
That's Alcor yawning in star form on the right- terrifying because his eye yawns and there's nothing but teeth. All the way down. Like a shark.
14. Alcor at the beach in an old timey swimsuit (And Mabel absolutely crushing Henry in a water fight)
I headcanon Alcor has difficulty dealing with inflatables when his nails get too sharp.
15. High AF Alcor trying to comprehend an empty box that got stuck on his head (Response to: https://transcendence-au.tumblr.com/post/177534157132/art-open-season-stoned-dipper-doing-the-thing#notes)
16. At some point after the release of Mizar the Magnificent, Mira and Dipper attend a anime convention together as each other.

You’ve probably asked this 10x but: dress shirts. I’ve been using Proper Cloth bc I like a chest pocket and the price/selection ratio is good, but I find the collars (I get a standard spread)/cuffs are uneven in quality, kind of stiff in a bad way, and overall just crappy compared to, say, Purple Label or Zegna. Any thoughts on other online shirt makers or off the rack options? I’m committed to spending
Pardon the occasional splurge come sales season, most all of my shirts are commissioned from Luxire. I’ve answered a few questions about my experiences with them in the past. You can find that information here.
While I’ve found them to be a very serviceable option and incredibly cost-effective, I’ll also note that you really need to know what you’re doing to make the most out of their service. I have my pattern (taken from an older bespoke shirt) saved on file. I’ll request swatches from them 2-3 times a year and order as needed. They make a nice workhorse shirt (I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re really into hand-finishing or design/construction bells and whistles), and their cloth options have expanded considerably over the past few years.
Being a company based in India, there is obviously some lag time. Between getting swatches, placing and order and receiving said order, you’re likely looking at a 6-8 week process. Not terrible, considering I oftentimes wait much longer for bespoke tailoring, but also likely not as prompt as Proper Cloth. Again, I’d recommend it if you have the luxury of time and knowledge.
Given your statement about “liking pockets,” I think you should tread lightly with an online outfit like Luxire. While I’ve only had good experience with their customer service, the crux of the operation is that you know what you want and have measurements. The reason I like Luxire -- you can customize pretty much every facet of the shirt at no additional charge -- is also the reason I don’t recommend it to people who aren’t very familiar with online MTM. There’s just a lot of opportunity to be disappointed and the return shipping to India basically makes every order a sunk cost.
I don’t mean to dissuade you from checking out Luxire (or any offshore MTM program), but I would consult with a tailor before doing so. Just make sure you pay the tailor for his time. Good luck!

Pairs SP thoughts:
It’s really nice to see even the lower teams getting season’s bests and not having terrible skates. Much better than last week haha.
I really liked Kayne/O’Shea’s routine. It was so pretty. I’m always a sucker for Sleeping At Last. Would’ve liked to see it clean, but it was good enough.
Still adore Peng/Jin’s short. Maybe it didn’t feel quite as on today as it did it Skate Canada? But still great.
Hmm. Well according to the Knierim’s opening card, their coaches are now Todd Sand and Jenni Meno. (Fun fact: Sand was a pro on the first series of Dancing On Ice in 2006 lol). It’s really good to see them achieving a SB despite all their issues this season. If only they could get through a skate without a fall though, because I really like their programs. And the spin was baaaaad, that was a generous minus GOE lol.
I did not expect the Russians to be top of the scoreboard, with back-to-back GPs and a less than great performance last weekend, but they were really on it in the short today. Her performance was much more convincing. Technically pretty great all the way through too.
I still don’t love MTM’s Short, if only because TFTEISYF puts me to sleep a bit lol. Again, wasn’t a bad skate. Maybe slightly undermarked? Not sure it was 4 points worse than Skate Canada. Or 3 points worse than P/J.
There are certainly some leaps in points. It’ll be interesting to see if anything changes around in the free.

Belynda Bond and Hannah Klinedinst Steal the Spotlight in the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby to Close out the Bluegrass Festival Horse Show
Lexington, Ky. – Aug. 21, 2022 – Hunter competition continued early Sunday morning in the Alltech Arena with the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby at the Bluegrass Festival Horse Show. A competitive field of 53 junior, amateur and professional riders took center stage to ride for top honors in their respective categories. Due to the large number of horse-and-athlete pairs in the class, it was split into a professional section and junior/amateur section. Not to be outshined by the elite hunter competition that took place this week, Belynda Bond and aboard Norderney took the blue in the professional section, while Hannah Klinedinst with Oyster Bay topped the junior/amateur section.
Belynda Bond & Norderney
Each horse-and-rider combination tried their hand at Joe Carnicom’s (USA) first round course that included a long strided bending line to a two-stride combination and four chances to jump a high option fence. The top 12 high scoring riders were then called back to contest for the win over a handy-hunter course for the opportunity to flaunt their horses ability to maintain a traditional hunter cadence while also making roll back turns and coming down to the trot for one obstacle. In the end, Bond and Klinedinst presented the most impressive hunter rounds to ultimately win the judge over and secure their blue ribbons.
Belynda Bond & Norderney
Bond and Norderney, the 17-year-old Hanoverian mare owned by Gesture LLC, were unphased by the pressure, taking to the Alltech like a seasoned, accomplished hunter duo. Bond guided the mare to great success in the professional section as she made all of the handy roll back turns and demonstrated a textbook, composed effort at the trot jump. The familiar pair caught the judges eye taking all of the high options and earned high scores of 89 points and 87 points to a total of 176.5 points overall to clinch the win by just a .5 point.
Hannah Klinedinst & Oyster Bay
Klinedinst and the 7-year-old Holsteiner gelding owned by Equestrian Closet LLC, Oyster Bay, proved that they were a force to be reckoned with in the junior/amateur section. The duo spent the entire winter season together at the Winter Equestrian Festival [Wellington, FL] and paved the way for their success this summer. Klinedinst has ridden the gelding to great confidence as they have moved up the ranks. Demonstrating experience beyond his years, Oyster Bay stunned the judge and earned the highest score of the day with jumping scores of 92 points and 91.5 points, to earn an overall score of 183.5 points including all four high options.
Hannah Klinedinst & Oyster Bay
Competition at the Bluegrass Festival Horse Show will conclude on Sunday evening. The Kentucky Horse Park will see horse show action beginning again on Wednesday, August 24th, with the KHJA Horse Show.

Can someone who reads Braille read my hives incase there's some sort of Book of Blood thing going on?
I am at the point of not eating chocolate for a few days to see if that helps purge the histamine from my system. When I get to the competent vitamin store I'm going to try a histamine blocker.
But not this morning. I have to destress my environment and put my bed back where I had it.
As for more proof Hollywood is fucked up and doesn't know what its doing the Great Choice video I leaked is a better horror film than I've seen in a long time.
Peacock with Cillian Murphy left my brain worried.
And I'm reading up on horror films looking for better made ones because that might actually make me feel something. I jacked up my right frontal lobe during my TBI and have Mast Cell Activity Syndrome rage in my blood so I don't feel very much. :/
Going to try and get thru season 4 of Ladybug, I've seen about half but it's been since we moved in that I haven't seen it on TV.
The doll board will get first looks at the Gen 1 MLPs in much need of TLC that I'll be parting with. So far I think I will keep the two adults and baby versions that were mine. I have to see if theres any sea ponies or something else I might like, I might keep the barn carrying case to put my quad in, but otherwise the bulk will go.
By the laws of abandoned property and bitch owes me they got to go.
Now, if there is a blog with how to restore Breyers, clean them touch up their paint etc, do let me know. Those I am pretty much keeping.
If you are an MLP restorer and toy customizer who doesn't mind dolls and needs an auntie to share a home with and can drive do let me know.
I just bought 3 MtM Barbies at the junk store yesterday. Got to check my kids to see who needs an upgrade, I doubt it because of the skin tones, but I'm going to keep buying them as I find them.
Snatched them up before an aggressive toy flipper could make that end of the toy shelf and gobble up anything he thought was "valuable".
Asshole, around these parts MtM are valuable.

The expanding role of pharmacists: A positive shift for health care
Numerous patients locally are ignorant that drug specialists have been widely prepared to give essential Primary Care pharmacist, for example, giving circulatory strain screenings, instructing patients with diabetes on the powerful utilization of glucometers, and at last giving an understanding of these readings and symptomatic apparatuses. Drug specialists can likewise rush to-arrive at asset for suggesting over-the-counter solutions for normal sicknesses, without the expense and season of getting to a specialist's office.
Consistently, drug specialists locally, medical clinic, wandering, and oversaw care settings offer effort or Mediation Therapy Management (MTM) administrations to prescribers and patients. Assuming a drug specialist gets a remedy from a prescriber that gives off an impression of being hazardous to use with a patient's different prescriptions, assuming the portion or length is unseemly, or on the other hand assuming the expense is excessively troublesome, they can prescribe suitable options by contacting the prescriber.
With 66% of grown-ups ingesting at least five medications each day and 27% requiring at least 10 every day, a drug specialist's audit is basic in recognizing when prescriber effort and discussion ought to be performed for the security and prosperity of the patient.3 Due to disconnected medical services frameworks, numerous prescribers know nothing about meds a patient might be taking that have been recommended by one more individual from the patient's medical services group.
A few investigations have shown that drug specialist intercession was fruitful in deprescribing "unsafe" meds in 43% of selected patients in no less than a half year, contrasted with 12% of patients where a drug specialist didn't intervene.3
In the oversaw care setting, drug specialists play a "in the background" job in dealing with a patient's prescription routine. Overseen care drug specialists can give a connection among prescribers and patients through MTM administrations by drawing in with patients in conversations in regards to legitimate utilization of meds, the significance of medicine adherence, and recognizable proof of high-risk prescriptions. Drug specialists can likewise give effort to patients who are as of now using expensive meds to give fitting other options, like exchangeable generics or a similar medication inside a similar class, or educate on end regarding repetitive medication treatment.

A Neapolitan Silhouette in a Half-Canvas Construction
I mentioned yesterday that Spier & Mackay is a company I’ve been keeping my eye on lately. They are known most for their shirts (both OTR and MTM), but have expanded into a full line including tailored jackets, trousers, outerwear, and sweaters. Last season they introduced a new cut called the “Neapolitan,” so named for being in the style of Neapolitan tailoring (all of Spier & Mackay’s goods are manufactured in China).
I tried it then, and found the fit wanting (I tried the Contemporary fit, which has low armholes and an overall boxy fit), and the overall feel of the garment to reflect its price (suits start at about $350USD; jackets at about $250). They make with a half-canvas construction, which puts them on par with other mass produced suits in this price point (TMLewin, Charles Tyrwhitt, SuitSupply).
After that first Neapolitan silhouette debuted is when they got my attention. I started getting involved in their affiliate thread on Styleforum, just as they were asking for feedback for them to refine the cut. They implemented some changes and are introducing the second revision of the cut this season in a handful of suits and in three sportcoats. The suits are in year-round VBC fabrics, and the sportcoats in three fall-winter fabrics: Abraham Moon gun club cloth, a natural brown Donegal tweed, and a black-and-white houndstooth flannel.
Rick, who runs their Styleforum account, sent me a suit (and upon my request, the gun club sportcoat) to give him some feedback on the changes they made.
He explained in the Styleforum thread that the updates they’d made were to 1- lower the gorge slightly 2- remove one layer of canvas (reducing it from 3 to 2) 3- remove all padding in the shoulder.
Having tried rev.1 of the Neapolitan suit, I can say that all three of those were the right decisions. The product, in-hand, and as it feels while you’re wearing it, feels much lighter. It’s much more in line with my expectations for “Neapolitan tailoring” in so far as that phrase has come to signify “a lightweight chest piece and natural shoulder construction.” The two layers of canvas go up through the shoulder—so it is not a completely unstructured shoulder, as the canvas gives it a nice clean line (smoothing out any natural curves in your shoulder anatomy).
But in contrast with the previous Neapolitan cut from SM, there is no additional padding and it feels much more natural. This feels more premium to me than the first iteration. The first one felt like a TMLewin suit I once had, which came to be my stand-in for stiff, cheap suits (ok not “cheap” like Target or H&M cheap, but in the realm of reasonable half canvas menswear shops). I’d peg it now in the same realm as SuitSupply (which is more expensive across the board for similar make).
These coats are made in the Spier & Mackay slim fit—the previous suit I tried was Contemporary fit.* So, fit-wise, I like this better. The armholes still feel low to me coming from Eidos, and I also still feel a little constricted in the upper back.
The gun club tweed is fantastic and heavy. The armhole height is less of an issue with it because the thickness of the fabric makes the whole thing fit a bit more snug than the suit, which is a year-round VBC fabric. On me, if I were a bulky body builder type, no way would I be able to comfortably bend my arms with the sleeve width on this.
Speaking of this gun club fabric, I’ve been seeing the Formosa version that No Man Walks Alone sold last fall/winter pop up again in my Instagram and Tumblr feeds as seasons change and folks pull it out of the closet. Obviously quality of construction-wise, Formosa blows this out of the water with its handwork and full canvas construction. But style-wise, I prefer this silhouette to Formosa, which I’ve come to identify as “boring conservative Neapolitan.” That’s not a knock—Formosa’s silhouette works really really well on some people (Sebastian McFox comes to mind), but on me, I felt it was blah. Spier & Mackay’s Neapolitan cut has more character and interest, in my humble opinion.
Rick says they are continuing to refine their fits, by the way. In Spring, they plan to roll out higher armholes with slightly wider shoulders, which would be a major boon to me.
But even with the current revision, I’d still recommend these jackets and suits at the price. As always, fit is king, so try them for yourself.
Spier & Mackay’s Neapolitan jackets and suits go on sale Monday.
*This is one interesting thing to me about how they are approaching the diversity of cuts and fits. Instead of creating the Neapolitan in a new fit all its own, they are offering it in their already-existing fits. This is different from, say, Eidos, where the No Man Walks Alone cut with its wide lapels fits completely differently from the Tenero cut, with its narrower lapels and shorter length. I appreciate and think it makes some deal of sense to offer two standard fits, with different stylistic details available.
